Agony
#6 of Joey's New School
Joey woke up early the next day, because he had wanted to take an extra long shower to help him get through the day. He jumped in and adjusted the water to the hottest he could stand. He loved to just sit under the water and feel the warmth on his body. After what felt like only a few minutes he figured he needed to hurry and finish, so he washed his hair and used some body wash to make sure he was clean.
Going downstairs in a pair of jean shorts and a tea shirt he noticed his mom wasn't up. Confused he looked around for her and noticed that her car was missing. Worried, he looked around to see if there was anything left for him to figure out where she would have gone. Right on the front of the fridge was a note.
Joey,
There was an emergency with your Aunt Michelle, I had to leave late last night to make sure she was going to be ok. I will keep you updated but I might be gone for as much as a week. There is some money in the living room on the top drawer in the entertainment center. I trust you will keep everything in order while I am gone.
Love,
Mom
P.S. Have fun but don't get to crazy.
Wow, he was worried about his aunt, but then again he might be home alone for a week. Naughty thoughts ran through his head as he thought of inviting Nick over. No.. He knew he would be to shy to ask Nick over when there would be no supervision. Forgetting about that he grabbed some pop tarts and had a bite to eat, daydreaming about things to do during the week.
A loud honk brought him out of his reverie. He grabbed his stuff and headed for the door. As he thought Nick was waiting for him in his car. He jumped in and got his seat belt on before looking directly at Nick and giving him a look of joy.
"You know, I can walk to school, it is only about ten blocks."
Nick looks at Joey with a huge grin "Yea sure, but then who would keep me company on the way to school for those ten blocks?", Nick flashed his eye lashes innocently.
Joey looked at him and thought about telling him about his mom being out of town but all he could do was blush. Nick saw this and looked at him questioningly.
"Did you need to tell me something, Hun?"
"Um.. Well I wanted you to know that um... my mom is .."
Nick takes a glance at him questionably "your mom is what, Hun?"
"Never mind, it was nothing."
He shrugs "Ok, but if you need to tell me something you know you can tell me anything right", questioned Nick?
"Yeah, I know", replied Joey. He laid his head on Nick's shoulder for the rest of the ride. It was comfortable and warm, he could lose the whole day just laying on Nick's shoulder. It always made him happy just to cuddle, but they had to go to school so he got off of Nick's shoulder as they arrived at school because he was to shy to show his feelings in front of everyone.
"Remember Hun, you do not have to be worried about showing you feelings, no one cares that you have a boyfriend. They are more worried that your human than anything else", Nick stated.
Joey nods "Ok, it is just so hard since I'm used to it being looked down upon, but I will try, for you", smiled Joey.
He gets out of Nick's green Mazda Miata and straightened his clothes. While he glanced around he saw that they were quite early for school. The parking lot was almost completely empty. Joey liked to get to school early because it gave him some time to just relax before school started and he didn't have to rush to get ready. He looked at Nick as he exited the car and caught a smile.
"So what do you want to do now? We are kind of early, and there is almost no one else here", asked Nick.
"Well I could try to get to know your friends a little more. I haven't really talked to them since I met them on the first day."
"I guess.. That would be ok.. Just don't get offended because Paul and Ricky can really be jerks sometimes."
"I'm sure I can handle it. Besides I am used to all the taunting since I am pretty much the minority around here. As long as I have you to catch me when I fall I'm pretty sure I'll be ok."
Joey gives Nick a warm smile for reassurance as he walks toward the cafeteria, Nick following close behind of course. As they entered the cafeteria they noticed that it was only about a fifth the way full and almost everyone was bleary-eyed. Joey was surprised to see that Paul, Ricky and Lucy were all already at school sitting at a round table talking.
As he approached the table with Nick following right behind, he noticed that they all had papers and books out and seemed to be doing their homework. He guessed that was a good enough reason to come to school early, so that you wouldn't need to get it done the night before. Both Joey and Nick pulled up two chairs to the table as the three furs noticed them and smiled.
All of Nick's friends were juniors like himself and none of them had a problem with Joey being a human, which really surprised him, but excited him at the same time. Lucy was a rabbit and a little on the bulky and stocky side, but was not unattractive. She had light gray fur, except for her ear tips and her paws, which were dyed a midnight blue. It gave her an eerie quality since she already dressed in all black. She was wearing a pair of small round glasses and seemed to be the only one at the table that wasn't doing homework. She had dark brown head fur that was up in a tight bun, but Joey had seen it reach halfway down her back. She was currently enthralled in some fantasy novel.
Joey glanced over at the other two furs sitting at the table. Paul was a slim, slightly muscled cheetah, who was on the soccer team. He always wore a pair of short cargo pants and a plain tee shirt. He had blond head fur that was short, but usually gelled into a faux hawk or some other popular hairstyle. Ricky was a white fox that was kind of short. His ear and tail tips were all dyed a vibrant royal purple that matched his eyes. He was the most mischievous of the group and not ashamed to make a sexual joke at anyone's expense.
"Aww, so the cutie Nick has been dating and has finally graced us with his presence", stated Lucy melodramatically.
"Don't be so rude, Lucy, although you were right about him being cute, I could just eat him up", smiled Paul.
"Why would you eat him when you could just bend him over and make him moan?", snickered Ricky. Joey went red instantly and shyly looked toward the ground. He couldn't believe how blunt they were being, he was just to embarrassed to comprehend.
"Behave yourselves", Nick said sternly. He put his arm around Joey's shoulder as he said this to emphasize the statement and to also provide support. Joey calmed down once he felt Nick's strong presence, almost like a buoy bringing him to the surface and reminding him that everything was ok while he was around.
"It is ok.. Really", whispered Joey.
He nuzzled into Nick's soft yet strong chest . He just could not get enough of Nick's fur, it always felt so soft, yet he knew that Nick would protect him, it made him think that he had some sort of snuggly teddy protector. Yeah, that's close to what Nick represented, he just knew that what they had was serious and they were not going to falter. He smiled thinking these thoughts just as someone walked right up behind him. The hair on the back of his neck stood on end and he had a bad feeling.
"So the human is your new fuck toy then", asked Duke? At the sound of Duke's voice Nick jumped out of his chair and a deep, loud growl emanated from his throat threatening Duke if he went much further.
"How dare you speak about my boyfriend that way. You will not disrespect him again if you know what is good for you. There was a murderous intent in Nick's eyes. Almost as if they were begging Duke to do something else, so he could act on the impulse. Joey almost had a flash back to the lake, but shook his head. No... Nick wasn't going to hurt him, in fact he was doing this to protect him.
Duke looked shocked for a second but them blew some air out of his muzzle and laughed. "So you will do anything now a days, huh? At least when you were with me you were not degrading yourself with a human. But, if you tire of him I will take you back. Of course, as punishment you will have to be my slave for a month before you will be fit to be back with me. I have got to show you how dirty you are to be with a human.", laughed Duke.
Joey burst into tears at these comments. The shots at him being a human he could take, he got those all the time like in the hallways, during class, and in the evening walking down the neighborhood. But to know that Nick used to be with Duke, that was gut wrenching. He just couldn't wrap his head around how they would get together, excluding the fact they were nothing alike.
A loud growl emitted form Nick's throat as he lunged at Duke knocking them both to the floor. There was scuffling a snarling going on as the two wrestled in the floor knocking chairs over in their impromptu wrestling match. Duke seemed to have the advantage of strength easily holding back Nick with one hand and using the other to flip Nick onto his back. Duke jumped on top of Nick and started to pummel him repeatedly all over his body, but for some reason avoiding his face.
A loud whine, snapped Joey out of his trance-like state. He looked over and saw that Nick was being beaten pretty badly with no end insight. Joey had a very insane moment as he thought about helping Nick. Forgetting about everything else he yelled as loud as he could and jumped on top of Duke's back wrapping his arms around the pit bull. He was hard pressed to get his hands around the canine's thick neck and he did not know how much good it was doing. He felt like he was trying to strangle a steel girder.
Growls constantly coming from his mouth, Duke elbowed Joey hard in the side, causing him to loose both his grip and his breath. Sensing his weakness Duke grabbed Joey by the shoulder and threw him at a table. Joey flew a few feet before falling on the floor and skidding into the table and chairs hard. He barely felt anything as he passed out. While Duke was distracted, he didn't notice Nick shove the arm holding him down off of himself and reach up with his jaws and take a bite right out of his shoulder.
Duke screamed in agony as blood gushed around Nick's maw. Nick jerked his muzzle back and forth tearing some more flesh for good measure before releasing and punching Duke in the jaw. Duke fell to the side as he held his paw over his shoulder wound. It wasn't life threatening in anyway, but it looked nasty and hurt like hell. Small ribbons of blood leaked out between his paws making a small puddle on the floor. Little veins of blood spread out from the puddle until it looked like some sort of irritated iris.
Paul, Ricky and Lucy were flabbergasted by they scene that just took place. It happened almost to soon to do anything about. Ricky immediately ran over to Joey and felt for his heartbeat and pulse, finding those he sighed and picked up the frail human and sat him in a chair. Meanwhile, Duke's friends rushed him out of the cafeteria as Paul did the same for Nick. No one wanted to be around when the principal showed up. He was a very aggressive bear and no one wanted to get on his bad side.
Ricky gently shook Joey until he woke up. Slowly he helped him up and started walking toward the hallway letting Joey lean upon him heavily. They made it to Joey's first class and Joey assured the fox that he would be okay and could handle the rest himself. The fox smiled and started to walk off before suddenly turning back.
"Don't worry to much about Nick, he's a tough wolf, plus I glanced at his wounds and they were very minor. Just make sure that your up to stuff by lunch or he might kill himself with guilt. Ok, honey?"
"Yeah, I'll be fine, I feel great now", replied Joey.
They nodded to each other before they separated, the human heading into the classroom and the fox hurrying down the hallways toward his class. Joey slipped into class and looked around noticing that no one was currently there. So he took this chance to grab his spot in the back corner and waited for the rest of the class to arrive. He waited for a few minutes before suddenly a furry body bounded into the room and suddenly charged him shrilling.
He was so surprised he didn't know what to do and couldn't react as the furry body slammed into him giving him a giant hug. The air was knocked out of him as he finally caught sight of the fur and visibly relaxed as he recognized her. Michelle was a female kangaroo around five feet six inches, she wasn't fat but she was somewhere in between that and skinny, a nice compromise that looked good. She had red head fur that was shoulder length and always pulled back into a ponytail. She was Joey's first friend besides Nick at the new school and she was very talkative and usually asked about a hundred questions before you could answer the first one.
"So, how was your weekend? Have you seen any cute guys? Who do you think would be a good match for yourself?"
"Whoa, slow down. My weekend was the best I ever had. Yes, and Nick Pewter would be a good match for me since he is my boyfriend." As the last words came out of his mouth he could not help but blush as he had just publicly stated his relationship in class. Yes, there were not that many furs in the class, but still he said that way to loud. He looked downward in embarrassment, when he looked back up he noticed that no one else was evening looking their way. Michelle was smirking and looking into his eyes deeply, as if expecting details.
They discussed his relationship for about fifteen minutes. Michelle wanted every detail, she was insatiable, and she would often interject. She interrupted when she heard about the fight at the lake telling Joey how sorry she was that he had to have met a piece of crap fur like that on his first real date. They finally had to get to work as the teacher walked in and told everyone to settle down. His math class went by pretty quickly, Michelle would talk to him when she thought that the teacher wasn't listening, as they left she made him promise they would catch up again tomorrow.
His next class History was really boring, he didn't have any friends in that class and the teacher droned on so much that he would have to fight to stay awake. He was so happy when the bell rang that he was the first out the door and he ran to his next class, Art. As he arrived, he noticed a that the door was locked and the lights were out. On the front of the door was a note that read thus.
Because of lack of staff several Art, Music and Band classes will be combined until further
Notice, we are sorry for any inconvenience.
The note continued with a list of all the new classroom numbers for the different classes. He quickly wrote down his Art and Music classroom numbers and hurried off to his new class. He made it just in time and took a seat in the back of the overly crowded room as the bell rang and the teacher walked in. The teacher was a middle aged porpoise, he had no hair being a cetacean, and he was slightly overweight. His weight did not seem to bother him that much as he gracefully walked into the room and immediately wrote his name on the board. Mr. Slipsis, he continued to tell everyone that they would be broken into groups of three and were to sketch each other, rotating every ten minutes. One person would pose casually as the other two sketched him or her.
As he read off the names of the groups Joey heard his own name accompanied by a Mr. Perdue and a Mr. Imas. He had no idea who these two furs were, but immediate worry ran through his mind. More than likely the two furs selected to be in his group would of course be prejudice against humans like the vast majority of the school. His shoulders slumped and he concentrated on his book as furs started moving around the room, he barely noticed when two furs sat on either side of him. He was waiting for the common remarks about why they would let a filthy human in class when suddenly he felt a paw on his shoulder.
Surprised he looked up to see none other than Paul and Ricky on either side of him. He was awestruck. He couldn't believe his luck to have two of the very few non human hating furs as his Art partners. Suddenly realizing that his coincidence was just to off he gave them an suspecting stare. Both of them looked at him mischievously.
"Yeah, I know what your thinking, and your are right on track. Mr. Slipsis likes us, so we asked him if we could be your partners when we heard you Art class would be combining with ours. We figured that you could use a class with a few friends", smiled Paul.
"Besides, Nick gets to much alone time with you anyways. I want to get to know you better and see just what else can make you blush", Ricky stated evilly. He then proceeded to rub Joey's rear-end which immediately made Joey blush before he smacked Ricky's paw.
My, my this class was going to be a doozy. At least he would have someone to talk to, though he would have to keep his eyes on Ricky. He was just to playful to keep his paws to himself and he was not at all embarrassed to reach for something he wanted. Whether that something was his friend's boyfriend or not. The rest of the class passed mostly uneventful, each of them taking turns posing. Joey kept a close eye on Ricky especially when they were side by side drawing Paul. He only had to smack his paws a couple more times throughout class. This really surprised him, Ricky must be on his best behavior or something. As the class ended, he waved by to them in the hall and told them he would see them at lunch.
Joey's last class before lunch was Music, he expected to be alone again when he walked into class, until he noticed a midnight blue ear-tipped bunny in the back of the class room reading a book. He hurried over and stole a seat right beside Lucy as she continued to read, seemingly unaware that Joey was even there.
"Hey Lucy, I'm glad I have someone I know in this class, it seems I won't be alone after all", jested Joey.
"But you are alone, Joseph, you are the only human here and in quite the minority." stated Lucy.
This started Joey to frown and sigh, he knew he was the minority and not liked on the whole from the fur community. He just figured if he had Nick and maybe a few friends he would be okay. Lucy stopped reading her novel for a second to glance over at Joey, she noticed the sad look on his face and regretted her previous statement.
"There, there, it's ok Joey, you still have Nick and us, we do not care what race you are, we like you, for you", she stated sincerely. As she said these words she patted Joey's back slightly like someone who wasn't used to being emotional would.
Joey figured Lucy was just different. She was cold, but not completely frigid, she did have a heart it was just below a lot of protection. It made him wonder why she was so guarded all the time, she only seemed to speak in reply to something else and it was always short and usually a dry, smartass statement. For the rest of the class Joey tried to get Lucy to open up a little more and got quite a few tidbits of information out of her. She was slightly surprised to hear how little Ricky had actually tried to seduce Joey during class. She said that she had a lot of trouble in the past until she showed him who was the boss by breaking one of his fingers when he got a little to friendly with her. This made Joey laugh thinking that it was a joke, until she told him she wasn't kidding that she had really broken his finger.
Joey made a mental check not to mess with Lucy because she meant business. Class ended shortly after their conversation and they walked together, quietly to lunch. Lunch went by pretty uneventfully, Joey leaned on Nick and cuddled on his side as he ate. It was so wonderful, just to have someone to lean on when he did not feel the best, he did not think he would have made it through the first couple of days if it wasn't for Nick. The rest of the day went really fast, with Nick being in his last three classes he could hardly concentrate on school.
As gym came around Joey was excited he always liked gym, before it was because of all the guys he could look at. Now he only wanted to look at Nick. He went into the changing room and started to change and would get a whole section to himself since most of the other furs would give him plenty of room. Nick walked in and sat his stuff down next to Joey's. Joey didn't know what to do, he knew he could not keep it under control if Nick was changing down to his boxers right in front of him. So he turned his back on Nick and started to change down to his own boxers.
Nick walked in and dropped his clothes down next to Joey, as Joey turned around and started to change. He wondered why Joey turned around, could he be embarrassed about changing in front of Nick? Nick didn't care about that kind of stuff, Joey was perfect the way he was, there was nothing wrong with his body, he loved all that he had seen of it. Nick started to change and watched Joey, he couldn't help, but get excited as Joey slipped down to just his boxers. He controlled himself though and they both finished and headed off to gym.
Class was pretty uneventful, they jogged for a bit and did some push-ups and such ending the class with a game of basketball. Joey had a lot of fun, as soon as it was time to change though, he dashed into the locker rooms and changed fast, so that he was exciting as Nick was entering. He decided he would wait for Nick as he changed.
Nick entered the changing room and immediately started to change, as he got down to his boxers he noticed a presence behind him. Turning around he saw a mouse boy that was five foot two, had almost no fat on his body, except for his bubble butt, and had hazel eyes with short blond head fur. His name was Jerry, he was a very cute mouse and he and Nick had had a few flings in the past. They were always one night stands usually when the mouse was lonely, he loved to just find a big canine to take home for the night.
"Umm, hey Jerry, I know what you probably want, but I have a boyfriend now, so I can't play with you anymore", stated Nick.
"And what makes you think that I care about you having a boyfriend or not, you could always invite him and we could have a party", replied Jerry seductively.
Jerry slowly advanced on Nick and faster than Nick could comprehend he had Nick's boxers around his ankles and his paw around the base of Nick's shaft. It did not take to long at all for Jerry to envelope Nick's head into his mouth. Nick was horrified, he knew this was wrong, but he couldn't help, but feel aroused, he had been very pent up saving himself for Joey. He usually relieved himself several times a week with a few various furs.
"Jerry, stop, I told you I'm taken", growled Nick as he tried to push Jerry off of himself not really putting a lot of strength into it.
"Don't worry wolfie I will take care of this for you, your boyfriend must be neglectful, you seem like you haven't had release in a while", Jerry replied. He continued to give relief as he talked, not once taking his mouth or hands away.
Just then, Joey, forgetting his clothes in his rush to get out of the locker rooms walked back in carrying a water bottle. He turned into the isle that his stuff had been and saw something that made his brain short circuit. There in front of him was a mouse giving his boyfriend head, and Nick seemed to be enjoying it. He was standing there slowly growling and whispering to the fur. He couldn't believe his eyes, his rock that he thought he could always rely on was cheating on him. Dropping his water bottle he ran from the room crying.
Nick hearing a noise behind himself came out of his sex induced trance. Shoving Jerry off of him he told him how much of a whore he was and that he needed to keep his mouth to himself. He turned around just in time to see Joey running from the locker room, tears streaming down his eyes. No, what have I done, he thought to himself.
"Don't worry honey, next time you need some help just ask, I don't mind", winked Jerry.
Disgusted, Nick quickly got dressed and rushed out of the gym toward his car hoping that Joey would be there and he could try to explain things to him. Looking around he saw no sign of Joey, so he jumped into his car and raced to Joey's house and walked up to the porch. He banged on the door for at least ten minutes hoping that Joey would come out and they could sort it all out. He looked through the windows and couldn't see any lights at all on and it looked like no one was there.
Joey ran in the opposite direction of his house, knowing that was the first place Nick would go, he didn't want to see him. His heart was bleeding, he knew he shouldn't have put himself out there to be hurt. Tears continued to stream down his face as he started to run through town, he made random turns at each intersection until he was finally lost. He turned left at the next chance and found himself into an alley. He walked to the end of the alley and sat down back against the wall beside a dumpster.
He let it all out and continued to let it out for about a half an hour. After what seemed like forever he decided he needed to quit crying and get up and take a hold of his life. He would just have to tell Nick it was over, he couldn't be with him anymore it would be to painful. He continued to feel pain in his chest, he just didn't know what to do.
He sat there for hours just contemplating what he would do. It had gotten dark and cold, but he didn't care. What mattered anymore, without Nick he didn't know if he could continue. He had been addicted to Nick, he had thought of him all the time since they had started their relationship. Now he had no one, his mom was going to be gone for at least a week and he would be alone. He pulled his legs up to his chest and lowered his head as he again lost his torrent of emotions. He continued to sob and didn't even hear the footsteps coming down the alley until they were all, but upon him.
He heard the noise and looked up as a shadow covered him up. He was shocked and looked through the shadows to see who it was and saw that it was a canine and figured it was Duke. He could not take it anymore and just passed out, the last thoughts running through his head were, that it didn't matter if it was Duke and he killed him, at least then the pain would end.
