Riding his horse down a lonely road, Leyn's armor gleamed in the light of the sun, polished by the paladin rigorously, it was one of the few objects in his life that he took true pride in. The horse's steps slowed to a walk as they traveled down the road, a whinny of unease rising from the horse as he gazed in the direction of the road, a pair of creatures standing there gave the horse a bad feeling. Twice the horse pulled away from the direction his rider was leading him in, finally Leyn clambered off the horse and settled his feet in the dirt below as he patted his steed's side. "Thank you, Rand. Travel back home," he commanded.
The horse didn't seem satisfied as his master started to walk away, butting his head into the paladin's back with a snort, attempting to stop him from approaching the waiting creatures. There had been many a knight that had told Leyn that horses were dumb creatures, in the paladin's honest opinion though, horses had more sense than any human did. "I'm sorry my friend, but I cannot accompany you home. Worry not, I shall be fine," he promised. Rand snorted as if to tell him that he were being a fool, but the horse finally turned back towards the direction they'd come from and started trotting back.
As for Leyn he turned back in the direction of the two figures, his hand settling on the hilt of his blade for a moment, he had no intentions of drawing it of course, but he found that the holy blade sometimes helped him feel comfort in stressful situations. The paladin was on a mission for the king of one of the human kingdoms, while the paladin tended to distance himself from any certain alliance due to the oath of the paladins, he himself was interested in this situation. Recently a new kingdom to the south had arisen, the humans finding out about it through rumors, a kingdom of lizard men with incredible strength, intelligence, and treasure.
According to those who saw the lizard men, they described them as draconic creatures, garbed in hardly a scrap hinting at some form of tribal structure, but apparently they were extremely intelligent, enough so that they had created bartering systems in the nearby towns. The king who had sent out Leyn had said that he had been interested in arranging some form of trade route with them, the paladin wasn't so stupid though, he knew that the king's sole interest was the great wealth that this kingdom flaunted. Leyn had no interest in the treasure, no, he was interested in their culture and intelligence.
Strolling down the road the pair soon came into full view, both of them lizard like creatures, horns sticking out from their heads that shined an ivory white. Leyn blinked in shock as he saw them, the stories did them no justice, their bodies were covered by a layer of polished scales, their forms muscled and handsome. Just as the rumors had suggested, they hardly wore anything, loincloths concealing their crotches, their nipples studded with glittering rings, their bodies adorned with different articles of wear that only seemed to accentuate their musculature. Leyn had to wonder if their species celebrated the male form with such wear, he himself had no interest in trying such a thing for himself, but the idea was intriguing.
Drawing close to the pair Leyn stopped a few feet away from them, their reptilian eyes locked on him, the paladin meeting their gaze evenly. They had a sharp expression, Leyn not quite sure if it was due to their reptilian form or a disgusted look. The paladin lifted a hand in greeting, hoping that since the reptilian creatures were so intelligent, such a greeting would be recognized. "I am Leyn, the one King Horace sent as an envoy on his behalf," he called out.
The paladin's hand stayed up in the air for a few moments, the lizard's eyes tracking the movement, their expressions unreadable for a long minute before finally one of the pair lifted their own hands, a ring on his scaled finger glimmering as he waved back. "Welcome, Leyn, we are here to bring you to our kingdom's court," he called out. The lizard's scales were a copper color, gleaming under the sun's light, his body a marbled statue of muscle that would make many men jealous.
Leyn beamed as he walked towards the pair, the lizard's warm greeting taken as an invitation to approach, neither lizard seemed bothered by this as they turned to walk with him, their movements matching pace with the paladin's with ease. "Thank you for coming to welcome me. I was under the impression that I would be alone for all of my trip to the kingdom," the paladin said.
"Is our presence undessired?" one of the pair asked. The one who had stayed silent until now, his scales were a deep ebony, his muscles looking just as impressive as his partner's, though something about him seemed... weaker... or at least weaker compared to the bronze lizard.
The paladin let out a hearty laugh as he shook his head, his voice ringing across the grassy fields they strode through. "Not at all, my new friend. I was simply surpried, my steed was definitely unwelcoming of your presence though. I can only imagine that is due to his fear of being burned, an old fear that he has from some dragons that I fought in the past," he said offhand.
Both reptiles stiffened up a bit at this comment, their paces never halted though as they let out small hisses, Leyn blinking as he realized that he'd likely insulted them. "My apologies to mention such a gruesome thing. I understand that you are descended from dragons, correct?"
"We are related to the great dragon, indeed," the bronze drake said. Leyn nodded in interest, curiosity peaking as he looked over their bodies, being so close to them gave him a great chance to really observe them. Their bodies seemed naturally inclined to be this muscled, their scales seeming to flex in the right ways to accentuate the natural power of their forms, their fingers ending in claws that seemed very capable of killing. Leyn blinked as he realized that the duo he was between could very likely easily injure him if they wanted to, though that was if he weren't fully clad in his paladin's armor, his sword at his side also having the power to warn him of ill intent. "You are interested in our form?" the lizard asked.
Leyn blinked as he realized that he'd been making his interest very obvious, his eyes everywhere but their faces. "My apologies. I admit that I have a deep interest in knowledge, always trying to learn more about whatever species I meet," he explained. The lizards let out a hiss, sounding very pleased about this as they seemed to puff themselves up a bit, as if it might show Leyn more of what they were like. "I've just realized, I never asked for your names," the paladin noted.
"Mine is Darus," the ebony one said offhand.
"I am Ellyth," the bronze lizard hissed. Leyn committed the names to memory, hoping that he might be able to remember them within the day, that being said he did have a generally bad memory.
Glancing away from the pair Leyn saw no sign of the Dracion kingdom, hoping that it wouldn't take too much longer to reach the kingdom as he was growing weary of trudging on in his armor, he'd been riding since the moon was high, his body could only take so much. "How much farther until we reach your kingdom?" he questioned.
"Do not worry, Paladin Leyn. We are almost there," Darus said. While Leyn was glad to hear this, he was also a bit offput as he had yet to see this kingdom of theirs, the road they traveled was so flat that it would be apparent very fast if there was any kingdom nearby. The trio walked on for longer, Leyn attempting to stay patient as he looked around for some form of kingdom, the paladin feeling a growing concern in his chest as he wondered if the Dracions had some alternative plans for him. As they walked forward suddenly both drakes disappeared, Leyn freezing in shock as the pair had completely vanished, the only sign that they'd been there with him were their footprints.
The paladin glanced around in confusion before Ellyth appeared once more at his side, looking at him with a sharp grin. "Come along, Paladin Leyn. Take a step forward and you shall find our kingdom," he purred. Leyn glanced forward, his heart pounding as he stepped forward, there was a sharp tingling sensation over his skin as he found himself stepping into a busy street, Dracions all over the road.
"An illusion spell?" Leyn breathed.
"Close," Ellyth hissed. Stepping back into the barrier he gestured behind Leyn, the human turning to see that where they had come from looked nothing like the regular field, instead looking more like a forest, the kingdom surrounded by a dense gate of trees. "What you ssstepped into was a teleportation spell. Our kingdom is far from where we just were, so to expedite your entry into our city we created that portal so that we could come here," the Dracion explained.
"Ah," Leyn grunted. Looking back towards the city he was shocked at how magnificent the city was, even the smaller houses seemed glorious in their own right. They were made from marble with golden inlays set into the sides of the buildings, more than likely costing enough materials that it might put the king himself in serious debt. "Your city... is beautiful," he breathed.
The Dracions hissed in delight, their egos stroked by his observation, the pair gesturing for the paladin to follow once more. Leyn followed behind but his eyes were hardly ever ahead of him, instead his gaze was snapping from side to side as he looked at the other drakes. It seemed that the stories of the drakes indulging in their bodies was no joke, it seemed that the pair that had met him had worn the loincloths in consideration of him, the rest of the Dracions walked around with their bodies bared to the world.
Several of the creatures passed by, their shafts standing at attention as the showed off to one another, Leyn only imagining that they were trying to impress one another, though they could've also been trying to... mate. The paladin sniffed slightly as he turned his gaze away finally, having gathered enough information for now, his guides leading him through the impressive city. The further in they got the larger and more grandiose the houses became, the drakes inhabiting them also showing off far more immaculate adornments, some wearing solid gold rings, others having adornments on their... pieces. The paladin attempted to have an open mind, but he couldn't deny that such a flagrant showing of one's body was sinful, he didn't say anything though as he wouldn't dare offend the drakes.
Soon enough they were entering the palace of the great city, there were no words for Leyn to describe it aside from extravagant, but even that felt short of the beauty of the building. Regardless the paladin turned his gaze from above towards the front, inside of the palace there were drakes walking all around the building, their bodies all just as bare as the rest, the items they wore didn't seem quite as ostentatious as those found outside though. "These are our fellow royal guard members," Darus purred. They did seem to be a bit more clothing upon their forms, though the paladin wouldn't quite classify it as protection, they appeared to be some form of harnesses that wrapped around their shoulders and wrapping around their... prides.
"Royal guard?" Leyn asked in shock. He didn't realize that the king would send out his own personal guard to retrieve him, he felt honored. Both of the dragons grinned and nodded before removing their loincloths revealing their crotches, thankfully for the paladin their cocks were currently pulled into their slits.
Seeing the paladin's confusion, the pair smirked and chuckled with hisses as they gestured towards a large door set before them. "For a Dracion to be clothed before the king would be an insssult, but do not worry yourself about your own dress, you are a guessst," Ellyth hissed. While Leyn felt a bit discomforted by the idea that he might be insulting their king, the envoy and his guards approached the door, the door opening before they even touched it swinging wide to reveal a grand throne room.
Walking down the path towards the king's throne, the air escaped Leyn's lips as he saw the king sitting in his throne, his scales glimmering a fierce golden color in the light flooding in from a window. He was at least twice the size of any other dragon, his muscles extremely impressive, his body adorned with large pieces of jewelry, more so than any other dragon that Leyn had seen to this point. Between his legs was an enormous shaft, the drake's hand sliding up and down the rod, the paladin's face flushing red in embarrassment.
"Our liege, we return!" Darus roared. He dropped to his knees before the king, his cock having at some point come out of its slit was now dripping pre, likely from the presence of his ruler. Ellyth bowed to the king, his own cock having erupted as well, but his was just hard rather than leaking.
"Ellyth, the leader of my royal knights, what took you ssso long?" the king questioned. His voice was deep and melodic, shivers running down Leyn's back as the dragon's red slitted eyes slipped over to him. While Leyn was shocked to find out that Ellyth was the leader of the royal knights, his reaction was muted due to the sheer shock of the king's immense size. Honestly with how big and muscled he was, the king was more than capable of being his own guard, but that wasn't how most kings worked.
Standing before the king, Ellyth stroked his shaft with one free hand as he held his other over his heart, likely for fealty to his king. "The human's envoy had taken longer than we thought to arrive, our deepest apologies your highnessss," he hissed.
The king's eyes flicked towards Leyn once more, the human calming himself with a breath and a touch of his sword's hilt, allowing the power of god to fill him as he straightened up and bowed towards the ruler. "Your highness, I come on the behalf of king Horace. He sends his warmest regards and along with that a letter for you to read," he announced. While he spoke though the paladin felt like the great drake was ignoring his words, instead his eyes tracing over Leyn's physique, true to his training as a paladin he was very muscled, even with his armor it didn't take someone a whole lot of time to realize that his body was well set.
For a moment the king didn't answer, his large hand rubbing down his shaft before he nodded. Leyn nodded back before digging his hand into a pouch at his side, digging a scroll with the royal seal on it from the pouch, he handed it to Ellyth who walked up to the king and handed it over to the great Dracion. The king looked at the scroll with an almost bored expression, letting out a brief hiss as he slid his claw through the seal and flicked it open. The paladin stood back as he patiently waited for the king to finish reading the note, though he attempted to avoid looking at the king too much, he felt rather uncomfortable as the king stroked himself so casually in the presence of his subjects and guest.
"Interesting," the king purred. The waiting paladin jumped as the king finally spoke, the drake then placed the letter on a table beside him as he looked towards the paladin once more. The king made no mention of the letter though as he looked to Leyn, the paladin curious if the king even made an attempt to really think about the letter... "As a guest of my kingdom, I must apologize for there being no party to welcome you," the king said.
Leyn's eyes widened as the king himself apologized, it was so rare for a king to apologize that he was quite frankly flabbergasted. "You... you have no reason to apologize, your highness. I had no thoughts of any sort of welcoming other than meeting with yourself, anything else would be too much," he said. The paladin bowed deeply, hiding his embarrassment as his face flushed with blood.
The kingdom's monarch didn't seem to listen to his apologies though, rather turning to a smaller creature standing in the corner, gesturing for it to approach. As the creature came into view Leyn felt his stomach clench, a kobold, creatures known to worship dragons. They paladin himself had slain several of them as he'd approached a dragon's lair, the creatures fiercely determined to protect their master. In the creatures' hands were a pair of wrist guards, similar to those that he'd seen some of the royal guards wearing, his eyes widening as he saw the kobold hold out the objects. "Take them as a sign of my apology, and as my gift to welcome you. We have a room prepared for you," the king explained.
The paladin glanced over to the king in surprise, he was sure that the Dracions wouldn't want a human staying in their city let alone the king's own palace. After all many humans had already shown themselves to distrust Dracions, the king must have had quite a bit of confidence in his defences to not fear attack from the human. While Leyn didn't desire any form of gift, he also loathed the idea that he might insult the generous king. "Please, your highness, you owe me nothing, but I shall take these in recognition of my mission to extend bridges between our people," he said with a deep bow. Taking the wrist guards in his hands, the human felt their heft, they appeared to be extremely well made, their quality top notch, the material that comprised the wrist guards felt less like leather and more like scales.
At first Leyn was just satisfied to hold onto them, having no desire to wear them at the moment as that would mean to pull off his metal chestplate to reveal more of his body, but all of the Dracions in the room had their eyes on him with varying levels of severeness. While Leyn didn't want to, he quickly slid off his armor, his muscles gleaming with a sheen of sweat as he set down the heavy armor on the ground. Usually Leyn wore chainmail and a silk shift under his armor, today was different though as traveling through the sun with all of the material would be too much with so much riding, the paladin being concerned that he might pass out from heat exhaustion.
The human felt his face slightly flush once more, his muscles impressive in the light of the room, he took the bracelets and unbuckled them before sliding them over his forearms, sliding them shut and allowing them to settle there as all present admired the man's new articles. "You could do with more," the king noted. He gestured towards the kobold once more, the little creature rushing forward with a variety of rich looking items: rings, piercings, and a few others that Leyn couldn't quite put his finger on.
"I'm sorry, your highness, but as I said I have no interest whatsoever in such rich objects. Not to offend you of course, but as a paladin I have no desires for such rich. My life has been devoted to the pursuit of knowledge and to serve my lord, no offence once more, sir," Leyn said with a deep bow. For a long moment the Dracion king was silent, his eyes on the paladin with a fierce gaze, for a few seconds the human thought he might be forced to wear the adornments... but finally the king wove his hand and the kobold walked away.
"Asss you wish," the king hissed. Leyn's shoulders relaxed as he stood up once more before the ruler, the monarch looking him over once more, now even more personal as the paladin hadn't put his armor back on yet. "The day is late. You shall be led to your roomings for the night so that you can get some sssleep. Food will be delivered to you asss well," the king explained. While Leyn wanted to spend more time talking to the king to gather more information about their land, he knew that he had already treaded on the king's foot once by declining his offer, so he just nodded, pulled on his armor once more, and followed behind Ellyth towards his room.
There were few words exchanged between the pair this time around, the leader of the royal knights looking angry as he guided the paladin. Leyn could only imagine it was due to his denial of the king's generous offer, but he didn't bring it up as he had no intentions of causing a scene before he got some sleep in. He was led into his room and was soon given a generous plate of food, of course though the paladin only ate small pieces of bread and soup, punishing himself in a way for taking the wrist guards as he ate an extremely small amount.
The paladin removed his armor for the night, pulling a set of clothes from his bag and setting it on a desk in the room so that he could wear it the next day. From there he pulled out his sword and held it in his hands as he kneeled by the bed, sending prayers to God up above as he asked for forgiveness for the perverse actions he had allowed to go on around him, barely noticing that he still wore the wrist guards before heading off to sleep, his sore body enjoying the soft bed before slipping off into a sleep of odd dreams.
***
For the most part Leyn slept away the nights without dreams, his mind tending to be calm during the sleep, a part of the blessing that he always said before resting. The night was different though, Leyn found himself wandering the halls of the castle once more, his body completely bare save for a loincloth, wandering through crowds of the Dracions who all seemed to be lavishing in their naked forms. The paladin pushed his way through them, rather looking for an exit from the palace's walls that felt like they were encroaching on him, attempting to push him closer against the nude drakes, their muscled and naked forms.
Whichever wall the paladin approached though he found that it drew away from him, as if his presence were a thing to be feared. Leyn's thoughts were purely set on escape, but it started to get drowned out as the Dracions started shouting out, attempting to get his attention as they started presenting glimmering objects: gold, adornments for one's body, offers of piercings, and even objects that would help him indulge in his more carnal desires. The paladin tried to close his thoughts to them, using techniques he'd long ago learned to avoid the silver tongue of enchanters and demons, and yet the words continued to flood in.
It didn't help either that Leyn's arms were sore, feeling as if something were constricting them, the paladin gritting his teeth as the pressure grew, a tingling sensation filling him from them. Finally he stopped to look at them, regardless of the army of lizard folk who followed him starting to circle him with a predatory style. The man's eyes settling on the arm guards that were still on his arms, but he couldn't help but feel his breaths grow shorter as he saw his skin start to flake away, red scales forming around the arm guards. The paladin felt a panic descend on him as he attempted to brush the scales away, but more formed as they threatened to encroach further on his skin, the horde of drakes around him growing in, his thoughts becoming muddled as things sped up, scales sliding up his arms, the pressure growing stronger, his head starting to ache, the lizards sliding jewelry on his hands, and...
***
Leyn jolted up, his body covered with a thick sheen of sweat, the morning sun peeking in through the window and settling on the floor. The paladin panted to himself as he slid his hand up his arms quickly, the arm guards were still on, but otherwise nothing was different about his arms. The man slid his hand over his skin a few times to make sure nothing was wrong. After making sure he was alright Leyn leaned back in his seat, relief washing over him as he brushed his hand through his tight cut hair and let out a sigh of relief. "To let such a dream overtake me... yesterday was a tiring day indeed..." he grumbled.
While the paladin did wonder how the dream had slipped through his mental protection, he just gave it over to an assumption that exhaustion had merely weakened his mental fortitude. Climbing out of bed Leyn glanced back and saw that the sheets were damp from his sweat, something he hadn't done since he was a youth, having nightmares of unknown demons in the dark. As Leyn moved over to the desk to get dressed once more a knock on the door interrupted his thoughts. Quickly sliding on his white shirt and trousers he called out for the visitor to come in, the door swinging open to reveal Ellyth, once again wearing a loincloth. "Good morning, sir paladin. I wanted to inform you that we have a washroom ready for you with hot water already drawn."
"You didn't have to do that," Leyn said. He always drew his own water whenever he bathed, he hated to be a bother to anyone else as there were far more important things to do than attend to him.
"Nonsense, the king has made you his guest. Expect luxuries aplenty, and gifts that the king had chosen for you himself," Ellyth said with a deep bow. This last sentence seemed almost like it had been lined with the barb of an arrow, a signal towards the paladin that he should accept gifts from the king without question.
For a moment Leyn hesitated, thinking on how to answer, but he didn't want to risk offending the guard anymore, so he merely nodded. "Indeed. Then I shall follow you to the bathing room," he answered. Ellyth beamed before gesturing for Leyn to follow, the paladin walking out as he rubbed his wrists absently, the dream still lingering in his head slightly. Honestly the paladin wanted to remove the wrist guards for now, the feeling of the scale hide felt slightly rough on his skin, but to offend the king could quite possibly lead to a rift between the humans and the Dracions, so for now he would put up with them.
Soon enough the paladin stepped into a bathing room, a drain set in the floor, the room itself made with polished marble and several gilded frame mirrors set in the wall throughout the room. Leyn a bit discomforted by the amount of mirrors in the room, were the Dracions so vain that they needed to admire themselves even as they bathed? He sighed before disrobing his clothes and hanging them on a clothing hook, making sure to take the wristguards and hang them up nicely so that he wouldn't besmirch them. Leyn didn't even give thought to the fact that he'd done so to them, having earlier been disdainful towards them, it was a bit odd that he handled them so gingerly compared to his regular clothing.
The paladin got to cleaning his body, throwing steaming buckets of water over his body, enjoying the feeling of the water running over his muscles. As Leyn washed himself though he suddenly jolted, his wards on his body warning him that someone was watching him. Leyn whipped around, his eyes quickly tracing over the room to look for someone hiding, but there was no one save for the reflections of himself. The paladin glanced around once more, his skin tingling as the wards' sensations waned, his body slowly calming as he straightened up. While Leyn couldn't see anyone he certainly felt no more comfortable, the paladin rushing the rest of his cleaning before quickly drying off with a comfortable cloth and then dressing up once more.
Soon stepping out from the bathing room Leyn found no one standing there, for a moment he glanced around the room to see if there was any place to peer into the room, upon finding nothing though he walked back to his room to get his sword and armor on, feeling slightly vulnerable without it. As he got his armor back on, Leyn almost felt guilty covering up so much of the wrist guards with his armor, but he knew that without his armor he would be dishonoring his status as a paladin. Soon enough the paladin was walking down the halls, he had a decent enough memory of the previous night's walk through the halls to make his way back to the main hall, lizards milling through the halls to their appointed tasks.
Waiting in front of the doors to the king's office were a pair of royal guards, each looking rather imposing with their impressive musculature, even without weapons. As Leyn approached both looked at him with matching scowls, the paladin slowing as he grew near. "You must wait to sssee the king," one of the guards hissed.
While Leyn was a bit annoyed to be put off, he also recognized the fact that the king was likely busy, and so he decided that he might take a walk through the city. Walking out through the kingdom's front doors a familiar black lizard stepped in front of him though he was noticeably lacking a loincloth. "Hello, paladin Leyn, you are going out to explore the city?"
"Good morning, Darus. Indeed, I'm interested in seeing more of the city since your king seems to be busy at the moment," Leyn said. The ebony nodded but didn't say anything nor move out of the way, the paladin internally annoyed as he could only imagine that the royal guard wasn't quite alright with the human wandering around by himself. "Would you mind terribly accompanying me on my tour of the city? I could use a guide," Leyn relented.
This seemed to be the magical word as Darus smirked before nodding and gesturing for Leyn to follow, the paladin soon walking down the stairs of the palace once more as he gazed over the city from his high vantage point. As the sun rose above the glimmering city it shined with the gleam of richness, Leyn feeling an odd sensation of desire in his chest. "Where would you like to go firssst?" Darus asked as they walked.
Tearing his gaze from the gleaming city before him Leyn turned his gaze to the ebony lizard, the Dracion's body gleaming with the light even with his dark scales, his eyes tracing over the adornments he'd added to his body. "I do have to admit that I'm curious where all of the pieces that you all adorn yourselves with come from," he said.
Darus glanced at him, a look of amusement on his face before he nodded, gesturing for him to follow once more before they suddenly turned and started down a particularly busy road at such an early hour. The road was rushing with Dracions, all along the road there were drakes with booths set up, selling off a multitude of different rings, hoops, piercings, and other such pieces of jewelry. The human was shocked at how much money was being exchanged between all of the reptilian hands, hardly a moment of hesitation at the price being said, some absolutely ridiculous in the paladin's opinion. Darus had not slowed his pace though, his body sliding between lizards all over, Leyn attempting to keep pace as he glanced over the variety of jewels and adornments, an odd longing in his chest as he tore his eyes away from each piece, rubbing the hilt of his sword and feeling its calming magic to help soothe the sensation.
Soon they tore out of the alley, Darus still going strong as Leyn was able to catch up, shaking his head of the odd lingering want that had stuck itself in his mind. "Here we are," Darus hissed as he suddenly drew to a stop. Leyn almost rushed right into the drake, swinging his body around Darus before seeing where they were, in front of them was a large pavilion full of smithing drakes, their bodies completely bare as they worked away at metal, gems, and other materials with superheated rocks and heavy hammers. Leyn's mouth went slightly agape as he saw their completely bare bodies, he was more so shocked that they were completely undressed rather than that they were working with the metal bare bodied, the sparks of the fire harmlessly bouncing off of their scales. "They take off their adornments asss they work so that they don't melt in the presence of the heat of the forge," Darus explained.
Leyn slowly nodded, noting a certain note of disapproval in the drake's voice about them being bare bodied, but nonetheless he watched on as he noticed a green scaled lizard working away at a ring, a brilliant shining ruby set in it as he was finishing it up. The man's eyes widened as they saw the gem, the metal a black obsidian that gleamed as brightly as gold in the sun, his eyes tracing the grooves and curves of the band, his finger absently flexing as he gazed upon it. "Paladin, are you alright?" Darus suddenly asked.
Before the lizard's words had been able to break the paladin's brief trances, but the human's attention was completely drawn to the ring. "I... I don't know... long has it been since I have wanted anything so insignificant as a ring... but... I can't shake the feeling that there's... something about that ring..." Leyn mumbled. He attempted to pull his gaze away, he tried to bite his lip, he struggled to stop but... his chest positively pulsed with need for it.
Since Leyn's attention was so locked onto the ring he didn't notice Darus' grin growing wide, a look of victory splayed across his face as he nodded to himself. "So then you shall have it. The king shall pay for any gift that he might give you," the guard said.
"Wait... don't," Leyn weakly managed. His words had a certain hollow echo to them though, his heart demanding that he get it, his desires overwhelming him as the guard walked forward and spoke to the smith. The green lizard at first looked annoyed to be disturbed while working over the ring, but as he listened to Darus he suddenly looked excited, his gaze turning over to the paladin for a moment before looking back to the ebony drake and finally turning over the ring, several gold pieces being dropped into his palm before he turned back to the forge, preparing to make another piece of jewelry.
Darus approached Leyn with his confident grin, the ring in hand, the lizard pushing the ring into a nearby barrel of water to finish cooling it off, murmuring something as he held it in the water and lighting it up with a glow before pulling it back out and holding it towards the human. "Your gift from the king," he announced. Leyn's heart sang with excitement, his chest loosening with that desire as he gazed upon the ring within the black scaled hand, his hand slowly looming out as he reached towards the beautiful piece.
"I... I really shouldn't... against the paladin's code..." Leyn murmured. His excuse sounded weak to his own ears though as he picked up the ring nonetheless, not noticing that the ring carried an slight red glow to it, his hand slipping the ring over his middle finger. "Wow..." he breathed. The ring looked gorgeous on his finger, fitting like a glove, his skin tingling with excitement as he absentmindedly puffed out his chest, wanting to befit such a gorgeous gift.
The Dracion hissed in excitement as he snapped his fingers, Leyn's eyes finally breaking from the ring as he looked up towards his guide, his face spread into a big grin which he didn't even realize as he tilted his head in question. "Let us explore the rest of the city, I'm sure the king will expect you back by noon," Darus said. Leyn nodded in excitement, his eyes returning to the ring once more as he followed after the lizardman, the hilt of his sword glowing an ominous black as it sensed the presence of ill magic, but the paladin didn't even notice as he was too enamored by his new prize...

The day flew by for Leyn, for most of the day his focus on looking better, his hand constantly fidgeting with the ring on his finger. The paladin's armor felt constraining as Leyn went through the day, not only that but he also felt oddly unnoticed with it on, so as he returned to the king's palace he removed his chest plate, figuring that he would be alright as long as he wore his shirt with the holy symbols upon it. Shrugging on the shirt Leyn caught himself in a mirror, his sleeves having been slid up his arms revealing the gifts from the king in all their splendor, and the ring upon his finger glimmering in the room's fire light. "The king's gifts truly fit me well..." he purred.
Standing in the room the knight practically forgot about anyone else, thoughts about leasing the king were minimal at best, his mind even seeming to blank the fact that he was there for the humans. If there hadn't been a knock on the door the knight might not've moved at all aside from the occasional breath, his rounded and powerful muscles barely shifting as he continue to have his chest puffed out in pride. Without an answer the door flew open, a familiar face poking their face in, the bronze kobold's snout glimmering as he let out a small hiss. "The king is ready to see you now, paladin Leyn," he purred.
Looking to his guest the paladin for a moment thought about sending the king's captain away a desire to be alone burning in him, he of course pushed away that thought though as he brushed the hilt of his sword once more, attempting to stem some of the odd desire in him, the power had been weakened though by the constant presence of the bracelets' magic in him, his desire barely being put out as he continued to brush the ring, nodding to the visiting Dracion as he stepped forward. "I would be honored to see the king once more," he answered.
Once again following Ellyth down the halls Leyn felt the growing sensation of desire in him, a need for more... more or what he wasn't quite sure, but he needed as much as he could get his hands on. His hands twitched with need as he imagined more rings upon his fingers, another set of gauntlets on his wrist, hardly realizing what was happening to himself as he played with his ring, a magical power from the object sinking into his skin, drilling new desires into his mind, even overriding the protection of the paladin's holy wards and giving him darker and more perverted needs. The paladin's own mind attempted to warn him of this, such blatant changes garnering his attention, the need to explore these changes were also muted by the combined power of the wrist guards and ring though.
Walking into the throne room once more, Leyn's shock at seeing the drake forms nude having been dulled, his eyes tracing over their muscled bodies with a newfound admiration, interest in how they continued their species growing in his mind as he looked them over a few times. The king himself being the pure icon of power and strength, Leyn's hand absently groping at his crotch as he hardly noticed, his breaths growing short as he admired the golden dragon's scales and handsome physique. "Thank you for letting me come to see you once again, your highness," he said. Bowing deeply before the dragon king, the human didn't notice his own trousers growing tighter in the vicinity of the muscled male, but the king noticed with a confident smirk.
"The pleasssure is all mine, I asssure you, sir paladin. We have never had a human in our midst for longer than a few hours, the humans more often than not being scared away. As much as it is for you a chance to study us, the same can be said for us, our species being able to learn from the human's advancements in magic and artistry," the king purred. Leyn grinned wide as his people were complimented, an odd amount of pleasure growing within him, a new excitement and titillation in him being stroked as he played with the concepts of being able to learn from another species, to evolve... to be far sexier and being able to show off his muscled exterior.
Something in the paladin's told him that this was all wrong, to be changed in such a drastic way... it was against the teachings of the church, to go against it would be downright heresy. Nonetheless, Leyn's skin tingled with excitement as the king extended his welcome so kindly, and perhaps to bend from the church's way wouldn't be so bad... As the paladin had an internal battle the king spoke a bit longer about how their kingdoms would be able to set up a bridge, a partnership between themselves that would be able to help build them both into bigger empires, stronger powers amongst the multitude that already stood strong.
Leyn's hand settled down on the hilt of his sword and his entire body shuddered, a bolt of pain rushing through his body as he knocked the sword's sheath out of his belt, the piece of holy equipment clattering across the floor. The king's words stopped as he stared on, a cautious expression as Leyn realized that he'd screamed out in pain, his hand tingling as he rubbed at his head. The human's confused psyche suddenly feeling clear for a moment, a voice shouting out to leave, to remove the Dracion's gifts and go back to his own land. This voice was quickly shut away though as the sword was completely disconnected from his body, Leyn disconnected from the holy magic as a few of the Dracions eyed the sword warily. "Are you well, paladin Leyn?" the king asked.
Rubbing at his hand still Leyn glanced up to the king, unsure how to answer, his words feeling almost unclean to speak to the king... his eyes soaking in the king's beautiful appearance as he shivered with awe. Throughout the day magics had grown stronger in his body, overflowing in his body, his sword's magic barely being able to keep the paladin somewhat clean, but without it the Dracion's powers were free to run through his form. "I'm... fine, your highness, merely a... stray spark of magic. It happens every now and again, but I think I will have it brought back to my room before we continue speaking," he said.
Walking towards the sword the paladin seemed almost hesitant to touch the sword, afraid of... something, he wasn't quite sure what, but his body was reluctant to bend near it as if it might bite him. "Let my guard take it to your room," the king suddenly announced. Leyn glanced back in surprise, not sure how to answer, but the king merely gestured towards the sword and a pair of Dracions approached with gloves upon their hands, picking up the sword gingerly and rushing out of the room. "Now shall we continue with our buiness, Leyn?" the king questioned.
For a moment Leyn thought about rushing after the sword, feeling an almost phantom pain from the loss of his weapon, but the king's gaze seemed to say that he intended to speak more. "I... am, your highness. Let us continue on," Leyn finally answered. The king smirked as they continued talking, the entire time Leyn feeling a growing need... a need to bow before the king, to submit to his power, unaware that something was changing about him, his skin growing rawr, his muscles growing tense, but most of all that his eyes were shifting. The human irises and color shifting, blue undiluted pools shifting into copper circles, the circular iris of the human's pupil changing into a snake-like slit, and the entire time he couldn't even place the change as his body shifted.
The rest of the conversation went on, the talks about Leyn's kingdom waning as the chat went on, shifting from the human's culture into one about the Dracions, about their strength, their wealth, and their sheer pleasure of being in a nude form. Where before Leyn felt uncomfortable, he felt acutely interested in these facts, a new interest growing, one that desired this life for himself... or did he? Even without the presence of his protecting blade, Leyn attempted to fight, attempted to stay pure, but the gifts that had been given to him continued to flood him with the Dracion's corruption. The pair continued to speak well into the night until Leyn's body was too exhausted to carry on, the human excusing himself before trudging his way through the halls towards his room.
As he dragged himself into his bedroom he didn't notice that his sword wasn't there, and even if he had, he would've found an odd feeling of joy of freedom from the sword's absence. Tossing off his armor, Leyn prepared to sleep, thinking that he was completely free of a lingering irritation that had grown throughout the day... but even as he stood there in the light trousers and shirt that he wore, he felt uncomfortable in the light ensemble. Grimacing as he slipped his hand under his shirt, he tore away the garment followed by his trousers and even undergarments, leaving the male completely nude in the room. Staring at a mirror sat upon the desk in his room, Leyn glanced himself over a few times, scars littering his worn skin from different conflicts, and yet he couldn't look away and admire how strong he looked... a new feeling of pride and excitement brought on by his looks.
Even seeing the ring and wrist guards upon his form were exciting him, new thoughts of getting more erupting into existence. Leyn thinking about getting something for his upper arms, maybe even something for his neck... hell, he wanted to fill his body with glimmer and shine, to accentuate his trained form. The man had to tear his eyes away from the reflection after a point, a bit ashamed that he'd been posing in the mirror, trying to catch the best glimpse of himself, hardly noticing a small bulge forming just above his ass. Soon enough Leyn slid into his bed, closing his eyes and smiling to himself in delight as he imagined the next day, wandering the jewelers' alley once more, perhaps buying himself more treasures... more adornments... making himself more and more handsome... like the Dracions.
***
Throughout the next night Leyn woke a few times as he tossed and turned in his bed, his body feeling oddly uncomfortable as he rolled around in the comfortable mattress, his skin feeling as if ants were marching around it. The man soon was able to fall asleep though, slipping into a deep slumber as his mind raced, the paladin part of himself was fighting to stay and beat off the Dracion's influence, but it was a losing battle for the paladin. Already with the lack of prayers and increasingly waning belief in the holy powers, Leyn's powers of protection were failing, allowing for the Dracions to worm their ways into his personality.
Early the next morning Leyn awake, stretching his body out as he tossed his blanket aside, dragging himself out of bed Leyn felt his tail drag across the bed. He blinked a few times as he tried to work away the bleariness of his eyes, as he strode across the room in front of his mirror Leyn looked himself over with a smirk, his handsome body looking just as sexy as it had the night before, his tail's red scales sparkling in the growing light of day, but as Leyn turned to glance his body over from the other side his tail rammed into a nearby vase. The man jumped slightly in surprise as he turned to look at the broken pot, tilting his head in slight confusion, as far as he could remember he'd never had an issue with his tail ramming into things in such a way...
After a few moments though he figured it was just due to exhaustion, walking from the room he didn't even notice that he'd neglected to slip clothes on, feeling far more comfortable without the constraining clothes as he strode into the bathing room. Inside were a few other Dracions, each of them from the royal guard as their equipment suggested, and for a moment Leyn hesitated, not sure if he should bathe with the other males... but as his ring glowed for a moment the man's morals loosened a bit more, his face turning passive once more as he walked into the room and started pouring some of the steaming water over himself. The Dracions admired his changing body as they washed their scales off, Leyn hardly noticing their gaze as a few offered a helping hand, the man turning them down politely as he figured that he could bathe by himself perfectly well.
The human hardly had a clue about what was wrong, washing himself amongst the other men... he didn't see it as anything more than just a daily need, hardly noticing that the other males were flying erections, their excitement obviously peaked by the changing male's presence. The door into the room opened once more to reveal Ellyth, the rest of the lizards backing off slightly as the copper kobold approached Leyn, his interest obviously stuck on the male as he ran his eyes over the changing man's body, looking up his red tail and watching as the scales from the new appendage were already starting to spread up and out over the human's flesh, the magic working on the man's body, though he was more interested on how Leyn's thoughts were progressing. Drawing up behind the man, the Dracion ran his hand down the human's flesh, Leyn's body shivering at the sudden touch as Ellyth drew near. "Good morning, Leyn, how do you feel?"
The feeling of the scaled hand on his back was sending shivers up Leyn's back, his body wanting him to leave into the touch as the man attempted to resist, but by now he could hardly tell why... his memories as of late had felt a bit vague, things seeming to escape him that shouldn't. Why had he come here in the first place for example, he remembered talking to someone about the Dracion kingdom, but aside from that it was a rather blurry picture... his thoughts seemed to lead him that he had come here to train himself, to better his body like the Dracions, to leave behind his weak human form. That didn't explain though why he enjoyed the touch of the other male so much though, he'd sworn himself from any sexual relations in his life for the church, but even then he'd remembered enjoying the presence of ladies far more than men before. Now though the touch of the other male felt like a blissful embrace, his skin tickling where he'd been touched.
"I feel... fine, why do you ask, Ellyth?" Leyn asked. The lizard man behind him smirked as he drew closer, his simple rub over the human's back growing into a lingering touch, pulling his hand down and around the man's hip, delicately tracing the man's skinw tih his claw, drawing it closer and closer towards his prize. For a moment Leyn was going to let him, letting that hand carry its way over his flesh, closer and closer to his penis before he jolted, stepping away from the other male as he pretended to stretch a bit, his face flushed red as he brushed away at his hair which seemed a bit thinner now that he thought about it.
There was a hiss of frustration from Ellyth as Leyn drew away, the human's posture now awkward as he attempted to ignore the fact that he'd almost been molested by the other male. "Ever since your meeting with the king yesterday, you've ssseemed tenssse," Ellyth said. Already the captain of the guard was calm again, playing it off as nothing had happened as the other Dracions watched on in interest, watching the male's body with a hungry eye.
The man was quiet for a moment, his hand absently stroking at the shaft that hung between his legs, the meat hardening quickly within his grasp. Leyn had never allowed himself such pleasure before, the church denying him... but why? The feeling was amazing... to stroke one's self... to allow yourself such pleasure... Leyn flinched as he felt the thoughts rushing through his head, attempting to shake away such dark thoughts, trying his best to keep a hold onto his background, feeling as if something wrong were happening, his old life starting to feel like a distant memory as the power of the Dracions flowed into him. By now Leyn realized that he'd never taken off his adornments, none of lizards having done so either, Leyn having the growing feeling that they were doing something to him... but scarily he found that it was becoming harder to care about it, a sensation of acceptance rushing through him that he attempted to push off, but all he could do for now was leave the bathroom as fast as he could, the captain's words never receiving an answer as Leyn stumbled down the hall before settling into a brisk pace, his mind trying to piece things together... but the pieces seemed oddly shifty, his own thoughts becoming strangers to him.
The human part of the paladin told him that he should go to his room, get something on, but he passed his room, his legs seeming to carry him somewhere as he strode into the front hall, his body still bare except for the growing scales, his human flesh being covered by red scales, his body somehow taking on even more musculature as his height even started to grow. Leyn walked into the king's room, the room unguarded, and as he strode into the room the man looked confused, his mind attempting to put thing together, trying to make sense of what was happening... but he just walked down the room until he stood before the king.
The Dracion grinned at the human standing there, scales pushing their way over his body, Leyn looking up at the golden drake with an almost vacant stare. "My honored guest, would you desire another gift from me?" the king asked.
The prospect of a gift made Leyn shudder with delight, imagining what amazing thing that the king would offer him nex... but he attempted to resist still as he held his hand up to his head. "I... I think I must decline.... I don't know why but... I think something's wrong..." Leyn's words were staggered, his mind reeling still as the Dracion's power forced its way through his body, the power working its magic on his physical body, and even Leyn's memories of his life were starting to come undone. He had been a paladin for many years, having joined into the church's knighthood when he was young, barely a teenager, but now... the memories seemed so unimportant that they were leaking from his thoughts.
The king smirked though as he leaned forward, his massive shaft still being stroked in his hand. "If you do not know why you don't want it, then what does it hurt to take some little trinket? You are a guest of my kingdom, and I think that a handsome man like you should wear all you can to accentuate those muscles, that sexy body," the king purred. Every word seemed to stroke Leyn's growing ego, a new ego that carried the love of his body, that wanted more to show off, to allow his body to be covered in adornments that would prove how strong and sexy he was! Leyn's body was freezing up as his own personality was struggling with the new one, his mind starting to slow to a snail's pace, the male's body twitching ever so slightly as the king gestured behind Leyn.
From behind the dazed man, Ellyth walked in, in his hands a harness similar to those worn by the king's royal guard. Leyn's mind was working so hard to fight that he hardly noticed the Dracion wrapping the harness around his body, sliding it over his shoulders, and even wrapping it around the base of his cock and back under his thighs. The Dracion tightened the harness and allowed it to hug Leyn's muscled body, the magic flowing through the harness as well, forcing its way through his body at an accelerated pace. "Such a handsome creature should be part of something greater," Ellyth whispered into Leyn's ears.
Suddenly Leyn was mentally tossed in a vision of himself amongst Dracions, all of their bodies pressing up against him, a repeat of that dream... the one that had his body changing... or was it changing at all? The man's perspective of himself was starting to blur as his thoughts grew weak, his memories seemingly escaping him as he started to forget about the human kingdom, the church, even the god that he had pledged himself to, all of his thoughts hyper focused on the Dracions. Wrapping his way around Leyn in the mental dream, Ellyth smirked at him with a handsome grin, his sharp teeth glimmering in the light as he pressed up against Leyn's body. "Not every Dracion gets offered the chance, but his highness has chosen you... such a model drake to become a member of his royal guard..." he purred.
Though his mind was staggering, Leyn could at least recall that he wasn't Dracion... right? "I'm... I'm not a drake though, I have skin... I am human," he mumbled. He looked at his hands, seeing skin and regular nails... but even that started to blur, his hands starting to look larger, rougher, scalier, and with claws. "I'm... i'm sure that I'm not Dracion..." he grunted.
"But of course you are, you like the rest of us crave that attention, that desire to fill, the desire for treasure, to adorn ourselves with our hoard," Ellyth whispered. Around his mental image Leyn watched as all of the Dracions flaunted their bodies, their adornments glimmering with such beauty... sssuch elegance. "Imagine it, being covered from head to toe in beautiful jewelry that stands against your handsome scales, being adored by males everywhere," Ellyth taunted.
On the outside Leyn's body was shifting, the changes happening faster and faster, his hair slowly slid out, but not without something taking its place. Red scales were rushing over Leyn's body, his muscles pumping up, and where his hair had fallen out a set of handsome horns grew out from the sides of his head, growing out and taking the place of the lost hair while frills of scales grew out from the back of his head, giving him a sharp appearance as the rest of his body was catching up to his increasingly drake-like physiology. With Ellyth's sultry tone, he was teasing Leyn's cock into arousal, the male's penis growing larger, a slit appearing at the base as the rest of the drakes had, but his cock was not standing down as it pulsed to full mast, an impressive show of male vitality.
Inside of Leyn's head, he was seeing other males all around him with erect cocks, bowing before him, begging to pleasure him, wanting to mate with him. The man should've disliked this, he should've pushed them away, and yet with his past rebuilding itself he found himself becoming excited by this. Memories of church, his life as a paladin, and his life of celibacy being erased and turned into new memories, a life of living in the great empire of Dracios, training his body to serve his mighty king, and plenty of nights where he would spent his time with other males... to rub his hands over them, to grind up against them, to spear himself upon their...
"Please... don't... I... I am not one of you," Leyn pleaded. Ellyth blinked in shock at the suddenness of his struggle, Leyn had almost appeared gone, it was obvious from how his red scales glowed with an aura of magic he was still deeply under the effects of their Dracion spell, but somehow yet the paladin had managed a defence. It was feeble though, almost entirely gone was the man's old body, his form was firm, muscled, scaled, and almost entirely Dracion. His face was forming into a drake's muzzle, a mane of red forming around his face to an impressive degree, his tongue even occasionally sliding out with a forked tip. The drake's nipples stood hard at attention along with his enormous shaft, honestly Ellyth wanted to help the red drake adorn himself so that he could admire the drake's personal hoard... but for now he had to help finish the last of his resistance off.
Ellyth led Leyn's body towards a wall, the male's body following the Dracion's lead better than the struggling will of the human. "Do not worry, resistance won't be needed anymore, the king hasss accepted you as one of hisss royal guard, and so as your captain, I will claim you, and as we cum I shall sire you with a new name," Ellyth promised. The changing man shook his head meekly, attempting to resist, attempting to push him away... but Ellyth's strength against Leyn's traitorous body was an easy match.
By now most of Leyn's memories were gone, he couldn't remember what he had been before a Dracion, he couldn't remember his family nor his god. Not that it mattered though, the corruption had turned his devotion towards his god into a devotion towards the Dracion form, the king specifically, after all who could be greater than the king of the drakes? He hissed slowly as he felt the captain enter him, his large rear allowing in the other male's cock with surprising ease, the feeling of the other male inside of him had the new Dracion practically dripping with pleasure. His old name was gone now, gone with a drip of pre, his mind wrapping itself around the hedonistic lifestyle that was being thrust upon him, with each thrust from Ellyth the loyalty grew within the crimson colored drake.
The captain of the royal guard purred with pleasure as he thrusted into the other male several times, the new drake's body slowly uncurling itself as he started to get into it, resistance fading as he started to hump back against the Dracion. The pair's balls started to slap against each other as their cocks pulsed with arousal, the king watching from the background with a grin on his face as the pair rutted. Somewhere in the new drake's mind, the last of Leyn was being wiped away, and he couldn't quite care as they came closer and closer to the apex of their fucking, Ellyth whispering to the new drake. "From today on... your name... the name you've always had... is... Zelth," he panted. With that the pair exploded, their shafts exploding with juices as the last of the new memories fell into place for Zelth, the red drake's juices running down the wall as he panted, his shaft slowly turning flaccid as his captain pulled out of him, juices running out of his ass as he flicked his tail in pleasure.
The new Dracion walked over to the king, unsaid orders sitting in his head as he bowed before the king, the golden drake grinning as his juices started to leak from his cock. "My king I, Zelth, am honored to become a member of your royal guard!" he announced. The king roared as he came, his orgasm rocking the throne as he poured his juices all over the new drake, Zelth quickly licking at the juices as he bathed in his king's fluids.
Panting, the king grinned as he sat up in his throne, his tail slowly wagging in delight. "I accept you as my newest member. Now go wash up, I'm sure the rest of the royal guard wants to try you out," the king chuckled.
***
Several weeks later...
Walking through the portal Zelth smirked as his tail waved from side to side, at his side was the captain, Ellyth. The pair were about to embark on their way from their kingdom to the human's, a task of great importance given to them by the king himself. Apparently at some point a human had come to their city to extend a hand in friendship, but as was the Dracion way, the human had been changed into one of the drakes, but through the interaction the king had decided that they themselves would send delegates to the human's kingdom, to extend an offer of friendship... and something more to the human world. Zelth's cock quivered in excitement at the prospect, his twin cockrings flexing on his shaft as he stroked the massive rod of meat. "Calm yourself, Zelth, we haven't even started on our path yet," Ellyth purred.
"You're right, my apologies, captain," Zelth said with a bow. Since he had joined the captain's royal guard, the youthful drake had quickly gotten to building up his personal arrangement, his cock had two rings on it, his nipples now carrying rings that he loved having twisted by the other males during mating, and even a set of loops that the king himself had given to him, one around his throat, and the other two around his upper arms. The drake had felt extremely honored, and had quickly submitted to a session with his highness, being plowed several times before staggering off to tell the others of his highness' gift, his ass dripping with the king's holy fluid for hours after. "Shall we go now?" Zelth asked in excitement.
Ellyth smirked as he gave his youthful charge a kiss on the lips, their tails wrapping around each other as he nodded. "Indeed, remember though, we must keep our pride wrapped up until we meet with the king, after all... we don't want to scare them away," he explained. Zelth seemed disappointed as he was made to put on a loin cloth, slipping off his cock rings and slipping his shaft into its vent as they started walking, not quite able to calm himself completely though as he imagined meeting the king and surprising him with the gift of becoming a member of Dracion society!
