Who knew how hard it would be,

to get back to where you once were emotionally?

Somewhere along the way, I have fallen.

Fallen into an emptiness within myself that I never knew even existed.

How do I get out of this vast darkness?

Searching for a hand to pull me out,

but instead, touching air or brushing fingertips.

Who exists? Who is real?

Will I ever find my way?

Is there someone who will reach into this emptiness,

this darkness, and pull me out?

Can someone save me?

Is there anyone real enough to help?
