#21 of Part Three - A Journey Through The Unknown

Well I'm back in college now so I'm hoping to pick up on this again.

Bet no one expected THIS to happen huh?

"Holy shit he's glowing." Electra said as she held onto one of the spikes on my back like Cammy was doing. "Oh Arceus he looks so awesome."

"Sweet!" Zeke barked as he sat casually on my back. "Glowy stuff!"

"So uh." Cameron said as he got out of the car and stared up at me, along with Kevin. "You just gonna leave us here then?"

"Well I mean... did you want to come?" Cammy asked as she looked over at them.

"Fuck no." Kevin said as he began walking towards the front door. "Nooooope."

"Don't you think time travel sex would be the most romantic thing ever?" Cammy asked as she winked at Cameron.

"I do!" Jesse said as he turned his head to look at her.

"I mean, we could be banging for months, years even. Just floating through the void of time. I mean, if I was on top you'd have to hold me, otherwise I'd be weightlessly bouncing up and down on y-"

"NOPE." Cameron shouted as he held up his right hand, turning and hastily walking to catch up with Kevin.

A wide grin spread across Cammy's muzzle as she hugged the spike she was holding on to.

"Please finish that sentence." Jesse said as he hugged onto my back with all fours, laying on his tummy just like before as I began concentrating the energy into my mouth area again.

"If you finish that sentence I'm going to eat you." Zeke said as he looked over at Jesse, then around at his surroundings, before quickly deciding it would be best to lay down too and flopping down onto his tummy behind Jesse, squeezing the sides of my upper back with his paws the same way Jesse was, only since Zeke was bigger he had a much better grip.

"Eat who? Me or Jesse?" Cammy asked as she tilted her head. "Because you looked at him when you said it but were talking to me."

"I'll eat you both if that sentence gets finished." Electra said as she shook her head.

"Nuh uh I already called eating Cammy!" Zeke barked as he turned his head and looked at Electra. "You can't!"

Kevin and Cameron went inside and shut the door behind them, and I felt a ball of energy begin to form inside my mouth.

"I mean, I want to eat Cammy too but you know. Probably not in the way you're talking about." Jesse said as he looked behind him again. Zeke flicked his ears and turned his head to look at Jesse, blinking a few times.

"Uh... wait I think that's the kind of eat I meant."

"Wait then what kind of eat was the other Pikachu-"

"Electra." Electra said as she glared at Jesse for a few seconds.

"Electra... talking about?" he finished as he looked past Zeke and over to her.

"Usually when Electra says eat she means eat." Cammy laughed.

"Yeah that's the one I wasn't talking about." Jesse said as he shifted his gaze to look at Zeke again.

"I wasn't talking about that eat either!" he said with a loud bark as he began to wag his tail. "And I meant you Cammy!"

"Yeah I uh, figured you did back when you you know... argued with Electra about it." She chucked.

"Wait why were you talking about-" Jesse started, pausing as I fired the beam. Everyone quickly looked forward as it soared through the air and smacked into an invisible wall just like before, quickly opening up a portal.

"Because he's Zeke." Cammy laughed. "My Zekeypoo."

Zeke's ears drooped a little, and he turned his head to face Cammy.

"Please don't say that ever again." Electra laughed as she closed her eyes. "That's just weird."

"Aw come on, Zeke likes it!" Cammy said as she nodded her head toward him. "Don't you Zeke?"

"No." he said plainly as he looked forward again, his tail no longer moving.

"Haaaaaah. Destroyed!" Jesse laughed as he looked down, pressing his face into my back to try and muffle his laugh.

"Hah. Hah hah. Haaaah. Heh heh heh. Shut up." Cammy mumbled as she smushed her muzzle against the spike she was holding on to.

I flew up toward the portal slowly, flying into it as gently as I could, and just like before it closed up as soon as the last of my tail had entered.

"So this is what it looks like." Electra said as she gazed around at her surroundings. "It's just... endless purpley blue stuff. Like what would even happen if I jumped off?"

"You would fall forever and ever and just always be falling. Forever." Jesse said.

"I don't think that's how space works." Zeke said as he gazed around. "Ooh, look at all the timey stuff! It's uh... wait how am I still breathing?"

"I don't care I'm just glad I'm still able to." Cammy shrugged. "We're not in space, we're in time. You'd probably get lost and wind up a thousand years in the past."

"So then... this is what time looks like?" Electra asked. "Doesn't he have to open a portal somewhere before I can actually get lost anywhere?"

"Probably, but like, you'd be lost in the empty space." Cammy said.

"So then we are in space?" Electra asked.

"I don't know. Spit off the side or something and see where it goes." Cammy said, shrugging.

"Or push Jesse off." Zeke said. "You don't mind floating around in an empty void for a billion years right Jesse?"

"You basically just described the inside of a Pokeball." Jesse said as he turned his head to look back at Zeke. "Of course I would mind."

"You have to take one for the team." Electra said.

"Yeah, for science!" Zeke barked.

"Not happening." Jesse mumbled as he turned his head back around to face forward again.

"Well we said we were going to push you off, you don't really have a choice." Electra said, a huge grin on Cammy's muzzle as she shook her head slowly.

"Do you think he would evolve into an Umbreon without a stone if he got lost in this weird dark stuff?" Zeke asked.

"Let's not find out." Jesse said. "Like, really let's not."

I focused on the time I'd been thinking of, the time just after we were sent off into that other dimension. Just as before I let my instincts take over, and I began to fly off in a random direction. In a matter of seconds a portal had opened up in the direction I was flying in, and I sped off toward it.

"I really like the glowy stuff." Electra said as she looked around at the surface of my back and the side she was near. "It makes you look cool."

I slowed down to a manageable speed as I exited through the portal, which closed up behind me within a second of my tail pulling through.

"That was intense." Zeke said as I gently flew down and landed softly in the grass, in the exact same spot I'd been standing in earlier, or rather later, before quickly laying down onto my tummy to allow everyone to get off quickly.

"Well that was fun." Electra said as she hopped down, walking around to my front and placing a paw on my nose. "The glowing looks really cool Dallas."

"It actually does. I'm not sure why but I really like looking at it." Cammy said as she hopped down along with Zeke and Jesse.

I stood up as soon as I felt the last of them hop off, and hovered up into the air.

"What, are you leaving us or something?" Cammy asked as she stared up at me.

"Actually yeah." I said as I stared up into the sky. "I have an idea."

"Well does it involve us having to be here for it to work?" Cammy asked.

"Yes." I said. "It does."

"Well what is it?" Electra asked.

"Me and Cammy had to have shown up in that void somewhere when we went back in time, and so did he." I said as I floated up a little higher, focusing the energy in my body once more.

"Oooooh look he's glowing again!" Electra squealed as she gazed up at me.

"So you're going to try and knock him off course?" Cammy asked. "Won't that screw US up when we arrive and nothing has happened? Or not do anything at all because that thing he used is programmed to send him through time correctly?"

"No because I'm going to go back to the point where we were sent back in time and stop the device from functioning before either of us, including him, can even be sent anywhere." I said as I opened my mouth, focusing the energy forward and into it.

"But we were both there Dallas. You didn't come." Cammy said. "We were sent back and we arrived correctly and you didn't stop it." She said.

"I don't know Cammy." I said softly. "I was there, yeah. I know what happened. But I'm going to change that."

"You can't just change that." Cammy said as she walked backwards a little so she could still see my face as I floated up a little higher.

"How are you so sure?" I asked.

"We wouldn't be here right now." Cammy said. "We'd have no reason to have to go back in time to stop him if you'd gone there and stopped him."

"She has a point." Electra said. "If you stopped him then, then you wouldn't have had to go back to before it to get us and save us, and bring us back to here."

"Some events in time are fixed Dallas. They have to happen and you can't stop them." Cammy said. "This is one of them. Something is going to go very wrong."

"Or maybe we're all here because I haven't gone through the portal yet to be able to stop him the first time." I said.

"Yeah that makes sense. If he's still here then he can't go back and be there too." Electra shrugged. "If he never goes through the portal he's making then he can't ever go back and stop it."

"But it already happened Electra. I was there, he was there, it happened, and this him, the one we're looking at now, wasn't there." Cammy said.

"Well maybe it's because you convinced him not to go while he was here, NOW." Electra said. "If you worry about that and he agrees and stays then yes, he's never going to be there to stop whatever happened originally."

I shot out the ball of energy that had formed in my mouth, watching the thick blue beam crash into the empty air to form a portal.

"I don't think that's it." Cammy said. "But either way, whatever happened, you're still here so at least you didn't die."

"I'm going then." I said as I began making my way up towards the portal.

"Just be careful." Cammy said, sighing softly as both of her ears drooped down to the sides.

"What's even going on right now?" Jesse asked. "It doesn't matter if he goes or not the outcome is always going to be the same. You can't interact with yourself directly, he'll never make it in time to be able to do anything because he's already experienced it and knows how it really went."

"Where did you even come from?" Zeke asked as he stared at Jesse.

"The... past I guess?" Electra said.

"Exactly." Cammy said to Jesse. "I'm not sure what he's doing, but it's not going to work."

"Dallas take this Eevee back with you you're going there anyway." Zeke said as he bumped Jesse's side with his nose.

"He's already gone." Electra said just as I flew through the portal, which closed up behind me as soon as the last of my tail had gone through. "Aaaaaand we're still here."

"Hey!" Jesse said as he stepped to the side and turned around to face Zeke. "What gives!?"

"I don't like you." Zeke said calmly as he raised his head back up. "You're like a male version of Cammy."

"Well I knew we'd still be here." Cammy said, sighing softly. "Cut it out you two, we have to figure out how we're going to stop the clone ourselves, because Dallas isn't going to be able to."

"Well when is he going to pop back here to tell us he couldn't do it then?" Electra asked.

"It could be literally any time." Jesse said. "It could be two seconds from now, or two weeks from now."

"Knowing Dallas, he's probably already figured out he can't do it and came back already. But he also knows that we CAN do it, so he probably came back in like three weeks or something."

"That actually makes sense." Electra said. "So like, it's been only a couple minutes for him but he's jumped time to arrive in a few weeks for us."

"There's literally no way of knowing other than waiting here for a few weeks to see what happens." Jesse said.

"I'm not going back... back in time because we were supposed to do something." Zeke said.

"Me either, so let's figure this out." Cammy said.

"Well what do we know so far? Because I'm lost as hell." Electra said as she walked over to Cammy.

"Yeah I have no idea what's going on either." Zeke said as he sat down.

"As far as what we're doing here, me either." Jesse said.

"Well to put it plainly, the clone that was riding the Palkia clone that sent us into that weird dimension was also the clone that sent me and Dallas to the past." Cammy said as she looked around at everyone. "Our job is to find a way to stop him from sending us and himself back to the past."

"So like, we have to murder him?" Zeke asked.

"Between the time we were sent to that place and the time we just went back in time from too." Electra said.

"Which is literally now." Cammy said.

"Oh right." Electra said, chuckling softly. "No you're right."

"So what do we do then?" Jesse asked. "Do we just find him?"

"Well me and Zeke used to work for Onyx, and Electra has been in there so she knows at least some of what it looks like." Cammy said. "You on the other paw, haven't been there or even know what they even are I think."

"Yeah I don't even know what you're talking about." Jesse said as he wrinkled his face up.

"We should have pushed him into the void." Electra said.

"Honestly you're just going to get in the way." Cammy said. "We're headed to a Pokémon Center but like, when we get there you're going to have to stay there for a bit until we get things sorted out."

"Alright, that's fine." Jesse said. "But like, do I have to?"

"The fate of the world literally depends on you not getting in the way." Electra said. "Because like, I was the one who stopped Mewthree from like, wrecking everything."

"You know he's still alive right?" Cammy asked.

"Yeah but what if I hadn't fought him?" Electra said.

"True." Cammy said back, nodding. "True."

"Mew three?" Jesse asked, tilting his head to the side a little. "What?"

"Long story." Electra said as Zeke stood back up. "Can we not explain it and just get going already?"

"We'll pick you back up when we have everything figured out." Cammy said to Jesse. "You'll stay in that nice one nearby with the indoor enclosure."

"You mean the fucked up one with all the Ivysaur in it?" Electra asked. "It has the fenced in thing on the outside and the forest inside the building and stuff?"

"Yeah, that one." Cammy said.

"That's like, one of the worst places you could leave a Pokémon you care about." Electra laughed. "Maybe he'll make it because he's a normal type."

"I don't want to hang out with a bunch of crazy Ivysaur." Jesse said.

"Well they're not there anymore. They were a few years ago but they were beaten out of there by Dallas." Cammy said. "I had to stay in there for uh, well, reasons."

"Oh, that's good then." Jesse said. "So it's a normal place then?"

"Oh yeah, it's a calm and peaceful enclosure with a bunch of different habitats in it for the different types of Pokémon to live." Cammy said. "Until they're adopted or something."

"It's really neat." Zeke said. "There's so many things to do, so much space, and it looks so real you'll forget you're inside a Pokémon Center!"

"Oh, yeah that does sound pretty nice then." Jesse said. "I guess I could stay there for a bit."

"I don't remember you being there... ever." Cammy said as she turned to face Electra, scrunching up her face and staring at her funny. "How do you know of that place?"

"What, the Pokémon Center with the huge indoor forest thing?" Electra asked.

"Yeah, that." Cammy said. "Also the Ivysaur. You referred to the place as if the Ivysaur were still there."

"Well I thought they were." Electra said, shrugging. "Why is that a problem?"

"How did you know they were there in the first place?" Cammy asked. "Did Dallas tell you about them?"

"Well we talked about them in the colony for a brief moment I think. Like, waaaaay way back when I went to go find him and ran into him in the rain but like, he was you." She said. "Or rather, in your body."

"Oh." She said, nodding. "Did he tell you all about it or something then? Because you described it as if you'd been there before."

"Cammy why is it such a big problem that I've been there before?" Electra asked. "It was like, forever ago, before we even met. It's a Pokémon Center, it's not like I was part of Team Onyx or something."

"Whoa whoa whoa whoa hold on a second." Cammy said as she raised both paws up, holding them open and positioned at the sides of her face with her palms facing away from her. "You what? What did you do there and why were you there to begin with?"

"I stayed there for a night because some dickhead that was supposed to adopt me from another Pokémon Center never showed up." Electra said as she shrugged. "I thought it was a cool place and then some random group of Ivysaur held me down and shoved a bunch of vines into my vagina. Like, four or five at once on some occasions. It was a shitty experience, so what?"

"That's kind of hot." Jesse said as he sat down, ruffling up his fur.

"Yeah that sounds uh... Neat." Zeke said.

Cammy lowered her paws onto Electra's sides just underneath her cheeks and held onto her, staring forward at her as she spoke. "Electra that never happened." She said in a low, calm tone.

"Uh, yeah it did." Electra said as she stared back with a confused look on her muzzle, wiggling her body in Cammy's grip. "That's not exactly something you forget easily you know."

"Electra no it didn't. You never went to that Pokémon center, you were given straight to Ben." Cammy said softly.

"No. I wasn't." she said as she pulled away from Cammy, taking a step back and shaking her head no. "I was on the counter thingy and some human came to get me. But like, I reached out for him to pick me up and he just didn't. He told the Chansey that he had changed his mind and to put me in that indoor place so I could be adopted by someone else. She explained to me what it was and I was brought over there, and I thought it was going to be a nice place to stay but like, when I got there it just wasn't." She said. "Some Treecko grabbed me and dragged me to a... place where he and his Ivysaur friends did a bunch of stuff for initiation or whatever because they had a type advantage."

"Yeah it was pretty rough in there back then." Zeke said.

"It's more of a half type advantage." Jesse said. "Grass types are resistant to electric type moves but electric types aren't weak against grass type moves. They damage electric types at normal rates."

"Exactly! If some Marowak came up and shoved their bone, as in the bone they carry around, into my vagina I could accept that because they have a complete type advantage." Electra said. "But the Ivysaur thing was just ridiculous."

"What else do you remember?" Cammy asked.

"Why are you even asking me this?" Electra asked as she took another step backwards, folding her arms and just staring at Cammy now.

"Because that's what happened to you when we were sent back into the past." Cammy said.

"Well then maybe you were sent into a time where nothing was wrong." Electra said, shrugging.

"No, that doesn't make sense." Cammy said. "We were sent back in time with the clone. He went back and messed things up. Me and current Dallas watched the past Dallas run to the place we all used to live right after his transformation."

"You mean you showed him the... thing?" Electra asked as she unfolded her arms.

"I had do, we were right there." Cammy said.

"Worry about that later." Electra said, sighing softly as she slowly shook her head a few times. "Did you follow him in to see if the past me was there?"

"Why would we do that?" Cammy asked. "That could really fuck something in the past up, plus the clone told us what his plan was so we already knew what to expect. We went to the Pokémon Center you were supposed to be at if he was going to pick you up and Chansey told us that he came to get you but changed his mind-"

Electra's facial expression changed dramatically, and her head tilted slightly as she perked her right ear straight up, interrupting Cammy and speaking in a calm and gentle tone of voice. "At the last second... and got me sent to that fucked up indoor orgy thing. That... that was Ben. Holy fuck that was Ben."

"That's so messed up." Zeke said softly, sitting down and lowering his head a little, both ears drooping down quite a bit.

"Yeah what's wrong with him?" Jesse said.

"Electra you have to think back. Far back. Do you remember what happened to you before or after that?" Cammy asked.

"Before? No, I don't." She said calmly, sighing deeply as she closed her eyes. "After? Well, a whole mess of random bullshit I still can't really piece together."

"Electra do you remember anything at all happening before that? Anything, even a couple minutes before Ben came would be helpful." Cammy said as she took a step closer to her.

"I really don't." Electra said as she shook her head no with her eyes remaining closed. "Not a thing."

"Well if that was the normal thing that was supposed to happen then how did she get from us to Dallas?" Jesse asked. "Because she was there when you called out to me and asked me if I saw that weird Pikachu guy, and was walking away when Dallas did that roar of time thing to bring the three of us to the future."

"Not only that, but if that was what was supposed to happen then... what could he have even changed?" Cammy asked.

"Unfortunately Dallas isn't here right now to ask what happened when he met Electra." Zeke said as he lifted his ears back up to their normal resting position.

"He could tell us what everything was like when he first met Electra. We both saw him go into the old house before we went to the Pokémon Center, and if that's true then Electra had to have been there when he went in if everything was really normal." Cammy said as she looked from Zeke to Jesse, then back to Electra. "But... he's not here so we can't do that."

"That's a problem." Zeke mumbled.

"That can't be right anyway." Cammy said quickly. "We teleported to the Pokémon Center and I looked at the computer. Ben DIDN'T pick Electra up, so she was transferred to that rehabilitation area in the other Pokémon Center. I had planned to take her to the Dallas in the past so I deleted her profile from the PC system because I didn't want her coming up as missing or anything when we got her out, or duplicated when Ben or Kevin decided to register her later."

"You deleted her entire entry?" Zeke asked. "Like, wiped her data entirely?"

"Yeah I deregistered her." Cammy said. "So any records of her ever being at a Pokémon Center were wiped. I did it the way you would if you were releasing a Pokémon into the wild. But then I ended up leaving with Dallas and Jesse because we were certain we'd be able to stop the clone and prevent everything in the first place."

Electra slowly opened her eyes, turning her head to look at Jesse and tilting her head slowly to the right as her muzzle slowly twisted into a look of realization and confusion.

"Uh... why are you looking at me like that?" Jesse asked as he tilted his head in the same direction, which for him was to the left since he was facing her.

"It... was YOU!" She shouted as she raised her right paw and pointed to Jesse. "Holy fucking shit it was you. IT WAS YOU!"

"What!? What was me!?" Jesse asked as he stood up quickly and took a few steps backwards.

"The rock! And the... the... the cube thing! You told me it was all a mistake and and and... and you did things with the thing and... and it was you!"

"Electra what are you talking about?" Cammy asked as she rapidly blinked a few times. "Jesse didn't do anything, he came to the future with us and you walked away."

"Ohhhhh yes he did!" Electra shouted as she began to hop up and down. "I know it... I KNOW it! Ohhhh IknowitIknowitIknowit!" she said quickly as she hopped from one foot to the other now, staring Jesse up and down. "And YOU!" she yelled as she pointed at Cammy. "You too!"

"Me? I did what?" Cammy asked. "Electra there's no way he or I could have done anything, I'm sure of it." she said softly. "You're acting really strange."

"I ATE him!" Electra shouted. "He gave me this whole story about how he met me before and all this other crap and I believed it! I believed it because he was the same Eevee that I saw leave in that portal thing on the Dialga! He like, bumped into me and said a bunch of stuff and we ended up in a Pokémon Center! I remember because I was in the room behind the counter thing where they examine you before the human can take you home and and and... and you ran off and came back a few minutes later and told me about how you thought it was really cool when I teased you about eating you in the future!"

"I... I what?" Jesse said as he lowered his head to look at the ground, shaking his head no slightly and perking both ears straight up. "I definitely never did that."

"Electra that had to have been someone else." Cammy said.

"Oh no it wasn't! He told me he wanted to know if I could really do it and I told him he was absolutely nuts because an Eevee can't fit inside a Pikachu but nooooooo he insisted I try and and and... and I ATE YOU!" she shouted. "You told me to pretend you belonged to that trainer that had me sent away and that I was getting back at him by eating the Pokémon he cared for the most and I ate you! You kept asking weird questions like if I had ever thought about eating another Pokémon before and then you told me it had to be whole and I kept saying you were crazy and that wasn't possible and you said to just taste you and try it because I might like it and and... I remember it!"

"Electra that-"

"No Cammy, I know it because I kept telling him that even if it WAS somehow possible that would be the end of him and he insisted I do it anyway!" she shouted as she resumed hopping up and down.

"Way to go Jesse. You're the reason she eats the way she does."

"No actually Team Onyx did that I think." Cammy said. "When she was created."

"But he started it!" Zeke whined.

"No he didn't. It was another Eevee." Cammy said. "If Jesse had done that he wouldn't be here with us right now."

Jesse continued to stare at the ground between his front paws, both of his ears having flopped down over the majority of his face so that it couldn't be seen.

"I can prove it." Electra said as she dropped down onto all fours and quickly ran over to the flap in the front door. It unlocked as the tag on her collar that activated it came into range of the sensor, and she quickly ran through it and into the house.

After a minute or two of silence, Cammy looked from Jesse to Zeke, who just bobbed his head up and down once and folded his ears back briefly.

"I have no idea what's going on anymore." Zeke laughed.

"Here! Here here here here here!" Electra shouted as she dashed through the door flap, quickly running back over to the group. When she'd made it back to the place she'd been standing earlier she stood up onto her hind legs and opened her right paw. A black chunk of onyx fell from her paw and bounced in the air a few times as it was caught by the string it was attached to, which she had wrapped around her paw.

"You gave this to me!" she shouted quickly, panting softly to catch her breath from the fatigue of running and bouncing around. Zeke's ears perked straight up as he stared at it, and his tail noticeably flicked behind him.

"That's Zeke's onyx Electra." Cammy said softly, sighing as she stared at it and slowly shook her head. "That doesn't prove anything. Are you feeling alright?"

"Uh... Cammy?" Zeke said as he stood up, turning to the side and sitting back down, quickly flicking his tail over to rest alongside himself in front of everyone. "You know where I keep that." He said as wiggled it a bit to ruffle the fur up.

There, within the fur, was the exact same chunk of onyx, tied around his tail and hidden within the fur just as it normally was.

Cammy stared from the rock on Zeke's tail to the one Electra was holding, then back to Zeke's, both of her ears drooping to the sides as she stared straight at Electra for a few moments, before finally muttering a very quiet "oh".
