Orientation day Chapter 3 (Last one)
#3 of Orientation Day
(This was the last of the installment because the commissioner didn't actually pay for another chapter but do enjoy!)
It would appear our duo finally kissed and made up; (literally.) Taking their relationship a step further. Who knows where they may land themselves next?
Mint groaned softly, the silence broken by shuffling sounds and hushed moans. "Rufina..We should probably.." She was cut off. "What's the matter..It's just a quickie, nothing serious." Mint shuffled a little uncomfortable, her tip beginning to emerge from her sheath. Rufina gave a sly smirk to her face and wetted her lips. "Now that's what I was hoping to see.." Pulling down further exposing her length to the crisp bathroom air. Glistening before her she grinned hiking up her skirt wobbly hovering over the girl. Mint could feel the warmth radiating from her body just hovering over her as her heart raced.
Rufina leaned forward whispering into her ear. "I've been thinking about this all night." She giggled." Mint closed her eyes giving her a push forward, pulling her own dress down and covering her face. "I'm sorry but I just can't. Not like this.." The girl panicked and pushed her way out of the bathroom stall and into the club. Standing by the bar looking for the other two she was here with. Kurt out on the club floor dancing, all the while his beau trying his best to fit in with the crowd. She caught her composure and pulled herself together walking over to the raccoon. "Hey..Um..Something came a-and I need to go. Back to the dorms. Like..Like right now." Her voice shook, "Whoa hey what's wrong hun you look like you've seen a ghost."
"I-I'm fine, I just. Really need to go. Can you please watch Rufina for me? I'm sure she probably wants to stay and hang out with you two.." She tried to hold her composure. Jei looked at her. "Why don't I give you a ride back, it's safer. Kurt will stay here with her alright?" Minttu nodded her head quietly and started walking her way out of the club and around into a parking lot with the tiger. Where the two stepped into a black four door car; it was modest to say the least. "So I can't tell you it's my business or not but. What happened?" Sounds of revving as the engine started up.
Slowly the car pulled backward from the spot, Jei looking at the clearly spooked young woman. "..." Sitting in silence, the way home. Meanwhile back at the club Kurt sat outside the bathroom waiting for his friend. "Rufina come on out. If you don't I'm gonna have to assume you're too drunk to do so and drag you out. I really don't wanna have to enter no man's land." Rufina slowly coming out of the bathroom had a hurt look on her face, mixture of anger and pain. "Where's Minttu? I gotta see her." Kurt shook his head. "First you need to slow your roll, and take a seat on the barstool. You've had way too much and you're not thinking straight."
The woman shook her head. "No I'm thinking perfectly fine, I need to speak to her please." Her voice changing from tones of aggression to a more doleful one. "Sweetie Mint went back to the dorms, she said that something came up and she needed to leave." Rufina shook her head. "That's bullshit. She's mad at me, I have to apologize for how I acted. I have to make this right!"
Kurt quirked his head, "Want what sweetie? I can't help you if you don't talk to me." She flung her arm hap hazardly. "That's what I've been trying to get to! I tried giving her a quick little how do ya do in the bathroom and next thing you know I got shoved back and now here we are!" She sulked. The raccoon nodded his head solemnly. "That makes sense.. Sweetie you scared the poor girl. I don't think she doesn't like you I think you just kinda spooked her." Rufina looked down with a grievous look in her eyes. "I fucked up didn't I." Kurt rubbed her back. "Come on now, that's enough of that none sense. Here's what we are gonna do..You're gonna wipe those eyes, you're going to get on the back of my bicycle, and I'm gonna take you home. You're gonna apologize to Mint, and work through this."
He exhaled, "Then I'm gonna go home with my tiger, and we're going to watch Spring of Rebirth." He smiled excitedly. "It just came out in English so." He swiveled his head happily. Rufina chuckled starting to come to her senses. "Thanks..You really are a great friend." She smiled and walked herself out of the club with the raccoon boy and stood on the pegs on his wheels. Grasping onto his waist, the two zipped off back to the dormitories. "Thanks for the ride Kurt." She said and gave him a gentle hug. "Say thanks to Jei for me alright?"
Kurt nodded his head and waved her off pedaling away, a distant little splash sound echoed in the streets. Looking up at the dormitories she moseyed her way in, reeking of cologne and a hint of alcohol, making her way into the elevator. Melancholic sounds of the gears whining as she moved up a floor and walked out of the small enclosure. "Now then.." She murmured and unlocked her dorm room, Mint already lay in her bed facing the wall. "Look if you're awake I really just wanna talk to you okay..? If not I'll just talk to you when you get up in the morning." She removed her shoes and slid herself into bed hoping to hear a response; but with no avail.
The next day Rufina woke up yawning and slipped out of bed looking about the room, sunlight drenching the room with it's radiance. In the room there was only herself. No traces of her roommate. Considering it was the start of the year she paid no heed and readied herself and headed off to her first class of the day. "Maybe she just went to class without me." She spoke confidently. Walking out of the dorms after getting ready and off to Math. The class was full of bright young women more than happy to learn, and before them stood a man with short purple hair and glasses. "Alright settle down, it's the beginning of the year but let's make this a year we won't soon forget." He veered his gaze over at Rufina.
"You seem to be a little tardy today miss Rufina." He said with a hint of concern. "S-sorry, my alarm didn't go off..I must've set it to PM instead of AM." She spoke up embarrassed. "Well as long as it doesn't happen again..Anyways let's get started." The girl sat in her seat and seemed to stare off out the window, alternating between the book on her desk and the outside. When class finally had ended she made her way back to the dorms in hopes she would eventually find Minttu. "She'll be back soon enough." She murmured coming to her door; when she did she spotted a neatly folded piece of paper taped to it.
"Meet me over at the cafe, Mint" Rufina spoke aloud. "Alright.. I guess I'm going to the cafe then." She murmured, heading off to the cafe where they first hung out. There inside sat Mint, with a single cup of coffee in her hands, staring off as if she had been waiting for some time. Rufina walked into the establishment and sat across from her at the circular table. "There you are. I was getting worried that someone had kidnapped you. I hadn't seen any trace of you all day." She spoke out smiling. Mint looked at her and gave a light chuckle about the 'kidnapping' "I wanna talk to you about something." The hybrid spoke up.
Rufina tilted her head curiously. "I'm all ears." Mint's gentle fingers gripped around the cup slightly, "I wanted to ask you about last night.. You took things a little too far, I just don't know if I'm okay with it." The lynx's eyes widened. "You're joking right? I mean come on, we've all had moments where we've done something stupid in our lives..Look I wanted to try and apologize to you all last night and even today." Minttu looked at her worriedly. "You tried forcing yourself on me. It's more than just a little 'mistake' honestly. And what if I let you..? Would you be able to look at me the same as you do?" She quieted herself.
"Look, I'm sorry if you saw the worst of me so soon but it's something I can't take back. I can apologize, even promise it's not gonna happen again. I've made mistakes, but I've never done anything like that before. I just like you and I let my body take that feeling way too far." She spoke solemnly. "Look, all I'm asking is that you give me a real chance..I'm not asking much just for you to give it some thought before you go throwing me out the window." Mint closed her eyes and looked down at her cup of coffee sitting there, "Let me think on it all. I'll come see you when I've got an answer for you." The lynx nodded her head thanking her. "Thank you.." She murmured placing her hand on Mint's before she stood up from the table and stepped away, slowly dragging off her fingers from her hand.
All the while Kurt decided to slink over to the seat where Rufina was sitting and looked at Minttu. "Look sweetie, I know you have some issues with Rufi. I care a lot about her, and honestly any friend of hers is a friend of mine." He paused. "Well except for that catty bitch Medley..Oh who am I kidding I love that bitch anyway." He chuckled. "My point is, she genuinely cares about you and feels really sorry about what happened. She was sobbing to me most of the night before she came back home. Crying about how she fudged up with you and how you would hate her and blah blah blah.." He swirled his hand, as if to insinuate it dragged on. Mint chuckled quietly.
"That's just it though, I don't hate her I just..I don't want this to ruin what it honestly could be. Mum always told me if someone's special they can wait. And I wanna make sure I know." Kurt looked at her long and hard and smiled. "Honestly, there's no one more special than that girl, if you know what I mean. She's got heart, style and a few bonus features not sold in stores." He snickered. Mint's fingertip traced along the rim of her coffee cup, her face lit up just a little bit at what the raccoon had to say. "Ohoho Looks like we got someone that understands what I'm talking about here. All I'm saying is give the car a test drive before ya buy it..y'know? Where's the harm in a little fun now and again?"
Mint kept her face down and stood up from her seat. "Thank you for the advice, and the coffee. But I have some places to be." She walked out of the coffee shop. "Don't worry Marie, she'll be back. They always come back." The ferret girl looked at him. "You better not have scared her away or I'll have Rufi Kick your butt good!" Mint walked the streets of the city looking at the wares and all it had to purvey. Day would quickly turn into night and night turned into day once more, five long days passed, five days of agony for poor Rufina waiting for a response from her roommate. Until after class with Professor Conas. The bell rang and the students began to leave.
"Alright ladies be sure to finish pages fifty one to fifty seven, there's going to be a test on this Friday so be sure to study!" Rufina grabbed her bag and started heading out the door, only to be met with Mint in the doorway. "Oh! Jeez..You scared the daylights outta me." The hybrid looked at her with a sincere look in her eyes. "I need to talk to you about something personal. Can you meet me at the dorm room? I have your decision. I just, I don't want to make a scene." When Rufina heard her say that she felt her heart sink.
"Y-yeah..Let's go." The two walked out of the college and back to the dorms together, sharing stories with one another, as they got into the elevator it felt as if an eternity were passing. The lynx staring at Mint as if it were the last time she'd see her, memorizing every little contour on her body every muscle in her smile. Wanting to remember everything. When the silence was broken by the ping of the elevator and the mechanics of the door opening to let them off. They came to their room and entered slowly, the room was dark. Shades were closed dimming the slowly setting sun, when Rufina swallowed hard and got up the courage to finally ask.
"So..What was your decision." Mint looked at her quietly and stepped forward, closer to her. Toe to toe with the lynx before she caressed her face gently. "I wanna try it before I buy it." Rufina looked at her perplexed. "Try..it?" Before Mint took her hand gently placing it on her breast. "I am taking advice to show you that I care about you." Rufina's eyes widened, the warmth of her body, the beating of her heart; how it sped up being so close. "I want you to stay here, please." The lynx slipped her arms around her waist holding onto her closely and trailed lower. "Alright...For a bit there you had me terrified." Mint covered her face embarrassed. "S-sorry, I didn't mean to worry you I just wanted to make sure we had no distractions."
Minttu slipped off her shirt, the black skirt and bra the only things showing on her. Rufina watched her coming closer pushing the girl backward into her bedside before she leaned in pressing her lips against Mint's. A tender kiss shared between the two before her hands rose up the hybrid's body and under her bra, cupping her breasts. Certainly enough for a handful of enjoyment for both. Mint's face reddened looking at her. "R-Rufi.." She cooed softly and scooted herself up on the bed. "C-come on up." She smiled. "I'm sure there should be enough room for two."
The lynx chuckled and slipped up into the bed with her and climbed atop of her, looking at her beauty once more before she questioned. "Are you sure this is what you want? I'm not gonna be mad if you say no." She rubbed her thigh gently. All the while Mint looked up at her with a placid smile, her cheeks so rosy. "I'm sure, I'm not gonna be afraid to take this leap." She murmured and unhooked her bra slipping it off her arms letting it drape on the corner of the bed. Rufina taking her hands sliding them under her skirt searching for her panties. "You little devil! You planned this!" Slipping her fingertips to her sensitive lips spreading them slightly. Mint gasped letting a moan escape. "I told you I wanted no distractions." She smiled and unbuttoned her pants pulling them off of her hurriedly. Her fingers plunging between Mint's nether lips, eagerly exploring her folds, listening to the moans of delight that purveyed the air.
