Chapter 1:Sparkling Emergency

Novaflame was holding Sky Strike as he recovered from the operation, the little one was calm, and snuggled him. Then he heard Miracle Skies let out a shriek in pain.

Oh Primus, Miracle! Baby whats wrong? Novaflame cried out.

Novaflame ran into his room and found Miracle Skies crying in pain, she had attempted to crawl out of her cradle and fallen and hit her helm on the floor, there was some cracks in her helm and some energon was leaking from them, she was hurt, badly.

Oh Miracle! Please, someone help me, she's fallen, she's leaking energon from her head. Ratchet, please save Miracle Skies for me. Novaflame cried.

Ratchet ran into the room and found Novaflame holding the little femme seekerling against his frame right over where his spark would be, using his EM fields to sooth the little one.

Oh my..... Nova, I will do what I can to help her, the poor little dear, I can see what I can do for her. Ratchet said.

Ratchet took her into his arms and carried her into the med bay and begain running diagnostic scans to see just how bad her injuries truly are.

Well, I can fix her injuries, there's a small fracture to her helm, but that is about it, her neural net is in good shape, all things considering. She is one lucky sparkling and certainly lives up to her name, she certainly is a little miracle of the skies. Ratchet explained.

Oh thank you Ratchet, you have no idea how much this means for me, this has been two emergencies for the little ones, Oh dear, I do hope that Air Surge will be fine. Novaflame frets.

Just then there was another Shriek, this time it was Starscream, Novaflame ran into the other room only to find him panicking.

Starscream, what's wrong? Novaflame said.

It's Air Surge, he's gone! And theirs a note, We may have been tracked by the Decepticons, because this datapad with the note on it is signed by soundwave, and it says he has Air Surge! Starscream wailed.

MEGATRON!!!!! How dare he! He will pay for this. Novaflame said.

That's not all, he has been ordered to give Air Surge to Shockwave, who will use him in his twisted experiments as a punishment, he did this to hurt the both of us. The only consolation is that he only ordered SoundWave to take one of the seekerlings, not all of them. Starscream said in a somber voice.

No! He can't, I will not allow that, none of my sparklings should suffer like this, I will not allow this to happen, please, we need to rescue him! Novaflame cried.

Chapter 2: Autobots to the Rescue.

As Ratchet prepared to operate on Miracle Skies, Optimus Prime walked into the room.

What happened to her? Optimus asked.

Ah, the little one had a bit of a fall, I really do not know what happened, but I think Air Surge had an accident as well, I need you to go check on them, Starscream did shriek pretty loudly. Ratchet said.

Optimus went to check up on Air Surge only to find a pair of very panicked seekers and a note.

What happened, is everything ok? Optimus asked.

That slagger SoundWave took Air Surge, We need to find a new place to stay, this base is no longer secure! Novaflame fumed.

Hmm, That is bad, we cannot just pack everything up, we need to inform Agent Fowler about this, that way we can let him get a hold of his superiors and explain that the base has been breached. Though they may have a hard time swallowing that a baby robot was taken, that is Fowlers superiors will have a hard time. Fowler will be fuming mad at Megatron for doing that to one so innocent. Optimus said.

I see, I heard from Megatron that you were working with the human government, this just confirms what he has told me, not that I doubted him. But I honestly do not know how much of what he has said was lie, and what was true. Novaflame explained.

Now hold on, you have met with Megatron? Optimus asked.

It was the only way I could sparkbond with Starscream, I know this is looking bad on my part, but I only wanted to do this for someone dear to me who just professed his true feelings to me, feelings that were very much mutually felt between both of us. I came here because Starscream could not bare to keep the fact he was going to Cyberform this planet. Novaflame said.

I see, so you lived on the Nemesis for a while, then upon learning this, Starscream made the choice to come here then? Optimus asked.

Yes, this was our contingency plan, should things come to this, he was to jump ship and defect, and I was to join the Autobots, I was neutral way back then, and I was neutral when I was on the Nemesis. But now, I am an Autobot, I really hope I do not end up regretting this choice, I have friends on the Decepticon side, they are the decent sort, those who believed that Megatron wanted to fight for equality, not realizing he would some day turn down a horrid path of conquest, By then, it was too late to back out without being hunted down. Novaflame explained.

Well, I am glad that Starscream defected, I knew that deep down inside, he was not such a bad mech, he was made this way, and now, he has been redeemed by you, his spark mate. Optimus said.

Thank you for the kind words Optimus, for the longest time, I was a broken Seeker, I needed someone who would for once, treat me with respect, I did some shifty things in the past, I know I fragged things up beyond belief, but I needed someone to help comfort me, and show me that I was worth loving. Starscream said.

Optimus Prime rallied the troops, suddenly there was a familiar roar of engines, one that Bulkhead recognized.

Hey its Jacky! Jackies back! Bulkhead said.

Jacky? You mean wheeljacks here? Now there's a name I had not heard in years. Novaflame said.

Well looks like we got some company..... AND an intruder! Wheeljack said, drawing his swords.

No! don't hurt him, we're sparkbonded! Novaflame Exclaimed.

Wait, you two? Sparkbonded? Well, if I don't want to kill you Novaflame I suppose I will have to not kill him then, but I do not trust that slagger. Wheeljack said, slightly growling at the fact that Starscream was here and he was to not harm him.

Novaflame, I have finished treating Miracle Skies, she will be groggy and in pain, I am giving her that medicine that Sky Strike is on for his surgical wounds. Ratchet said.

Miracle Skies? Sky Strike? How many seekers have you guys taken in? And when can she go on missions? Wheeljack asked.

Oh for Primus sakes, these are only newly sparked Seekerlings, they are far too young for that, only a few metacycles old. Ratchet explained.

Oh, I did not know that, what happened? Wheeljack asked.

Well, Sky Strike had some problem with one of his air filters valves, and Miracle Skies, she kinda had a spill and fell out of her cradle. We do not know how it happened, but she still suffered a minor head injury, there was a third, but..... Air Surge was kidnapped by SoundWave right out of the base. Ratchet explained

I see, scraap, poor things, I especially am worried about Air Surge, and the fact that SoundWave snatched him right out of the base. Wheeljack said.

Novaflame left Sky Strike and and Miracle Skies with Ratchet, and turned to Optimus.

Optimus, Starscream and I want to aid you in retrieving Air Surge. We love him and we need to get him away from Shockwave, there is no telling what that bastards doing to poor Air Surge. I am scared, but I do not want to loose him. Novaflame pleaded.

I understand, and I will assemble a team, you two can join the fight if you want, we greatly appreciate your help and are honored to work along side you Novaflame, and we also are glad that Starscream is on our side. Ok everyone, we have a mission, one of Novaflames and Starscreams seekerlings has been taken by SoundWave, we need to locate him, before Shockwave can do anything horrid to him. Optimus said.

I volunteer for this, I may not know them that well, but I will not stand for any infants being harmed like this, and I am more than ready to bash some Decepticon butt. Miko Nakadai volunteered.

Very well, you are a Wrecker now, and you do have the Apex armor. Optimus said.

And if Miko is going, I am too. Bulkhead said.

Bumblebee made a series of beeps and whistles and whrrrrs explaining he was in.

Well, since a small sparkling is in danger, I will join in, I had never had any sparklings of my own before, but I do not like seeing them harmed, especially not by Cons. Arcee said.

Very well, Raf, Jack, you stay here, also, Jack, get a hold of your mom, ask her if she can come over after work, she can help with the two seekerlings that are here, Autobots Transform and role out! Optimus said.

The Autobots followed the two Seekers, guided by that special bond that creators and carriers have with their sparklings to where Shockwave is keeping Air Surge. They eventually found the Nemesis, meaning Shockwave was on board. Starscream and Novaflame landed and assisted the Autobots in sneaking aboard, knowing that the sooner they get to Air Surge, the better chances they have to get him back unharmed.

Optimus, he is in there, I know it, I feel him, keenly, he is very scared, and in pain, meaning that slagger has done something to him. Starscream growled.

I know my darling, I know, it hurts to know that they would be so cruel to a sparkling so young. Novaflame cooed reassuringly to Starscream.

Ok, lets move in, the longer we wait, the less likely we can save him. Air Surge is hurting, and needs us now. Starscream said.

The two Seekers and the Autobots moved in, they snuck in through a maintenance hatch, and followed them to where Shockwaves lab was, they made their move when Shockwave left the room, they could hear Air Surge crying, as they dropped down, they made a run for Air Surge, only to stop short, they noticed he was in pain because his chassis was open and it was though Shockwave was upgrading Air Surge while he was online.

Air Surge, oh no...... my little darling, what have they done to you...... Novaflame cried while stroking his face plate softly.

Novaflame took some medical supplies out of his med kit, including some stasis anesthesia to put the little one under, giving him a chance to calm down, then he went to work closing him up after undoing what Shockwave was doing to the little one.

Do not worry babe, you will be ok, let me fix what those slaggers did to you, just go to sleep, you will be fine. Optimus, order the others to stand watch and make sure that Shockwave does not interfere with me, Furthermore, make sure Megatron does not come in here. Novaflame said.

I will do that Novaflame, you heard him, make sure that this room is secured. We do not need a battle in this room with such a young sparkling in desperate need of medical care. Optimus said.

The Autobots nodded and took up their positions as Novaflame worked, his nimble digits worked quickly and accurately to fix his young son, he quickly patched him up, unhooked him from the machinery that the Decepticons had him hooked up to, then placed him close to his chest.

There, I have him, now lets get the frag out of here, he is asleep still, I will administer the stimulant to wake him up. But we must leave now while we still can. Novaflame said.

The Autobots made their way to the maintenance hatch, realizing how lucky they were, but their luck had run out when Megatron was waiting for them, Luckly for Nova he was in the middle of the crowed and he heard the struggles of Miko who was grabbed by Megatron, who in turn began wailing on Megatron using the Apex armor.

Hah, you think you could just pick on innocent sparklings and get a way with it, think again Megatron, because I am going to wreck you for that. Miko Nakadai said, while punching and throwing Megatron around.

That slagger Starscream should have thought of that before betraying me, we knew he would come and pick the little one up, that is why we did it. Megatron said.

Well, you are trying to take our world from us, and he knew that Novaflame would not want any part of that, that is why he did this, he did this for his mate. Something you would never understand. Miko said.

It matters not, he disobeyed me, and betrayed me. They needed to be punished, and the perfect way to make those two suffer is through his sparkling. Megatron sneered.

You Monster, how dare you, You will pay for this autrocity. Novaflame said after handing Starscream Air Surge and climbing out of the hatch to assist Miko.

Novaflame grabbed his Flamethrower and aimed it at Megatron.

You had better go back into your ship and stay there and stay away from my family, I will NOT hesitate to kill you, you walking scrap heap. Novaflame snarled.

Whoa, I don't think I have ever heard Nova snarl before, he's usually so sweet and loving and noble. Bulkhead said.

Trust me Bulkhead, there is nothing deadlier than an enraged Seeker carrier after catching up to the one who hurt their seekerling, to be truthful, I would be up there were it not for the fact I cannot risk Air Surge. Starscream growled.

You wouldn't dare Novaflame, you said it yourself, you were starting to like me. Megatron said, trying to talk down the angry seeker.

Don't you dare give me that, yes I was liking you, you were very kind to me, well, as kind as you possibly could be during my time on board the Nemesis while carrying the triplets, even when I was out of line, you were lenient, you treated me well, and were even smitten by the little ones. And NOW you tortured one of the very Seekerlings you deemed as your own nephews, you saw me as a brother, I could tell, all those times you seemed to care for me, you had me feeling comfortable around you. Did you honestly think that being all chummy with me would make me turn a blind eye to these current developments in the Decepticon agenda? Novaflame screamed at the warlord.

That was before you and Starscream betrayed us, you have no right to accuse me of anything you Traitor. Megatron lunged and Novaflame.

Novaflame's normally blue eyes flared red as he roared as he pulled the trigger on his flame thrower. Novaflame invoked his pyrokynesis and made it even hotter, making Megatron cry out in pain.

Gaaaaah, stop it please! Its too much, please Nova, stop this, alright, alright, just take the seekerling and get out of my sight. Megatron cried in pain.

Novaflame stopped, and glared at him.

If you EVER do that again, I will not hesitate to kill you next time, Do I make myself clear? Novaflame growled and lifted Megatron up by his chest plate.

Just get out of here already. Megatron snarled at Novaflame.

Well, you heard the Tyrant, looks like he wants us to just take the seekerling and leave. Novaflame said to the rest of the Autobots.

Woah, remind me not to tick him off, he literally toasted Megatron, forcing him to let as go with the little one. Bulkhead said.

Be at ease my friends, I will not hurt you, he honestly deserved it. Megatron will receive treatment for his burns, and he will think twice before messing with me or my family again. Novaflame explained to his friends after showing them his might.

Bravo Novaflame, you really taught him not to mess with you, and I am pretty sure he will think twice before getting on your bad side again. Starscream congradulated Novaflame.

You are too kind Starscream, I only did what I had to do to get our little one back and secure his safety. Any carrier or creator would have done the same were it their sparkling. Novaflame said.

Well, then, lets head home, Raf, we need a landbridge now, we got Air Surge, he was hurt badly, but Novaflame managed to repair Air Surge's injuries. We will require some diagnostics to be done, provided that nothing was overlooked and nothing was put inside of Air Surge. Optimus said.

The landbridge was opened and everyone walked through and into the base.

How did everything go, Will Air Surge be ok? Raf asked.

Well everything wound up going as planned to a certain point, we managed to patch up Air Surge, However, Megatron was waiting for us on top of the Nemesis, we suspect this was a trap. You should have seen Novaflame, he actually did some serious damage to Megatron with his flamethrower. I honestly do not know how he got the flames to burn so hot, but it was really something. Bulkhead said.

Well, I suppose I never told you, but I am gifted, I am a pyrokynetic, I can manipulate fire, including increasing its temperature without wasting fuel. I can also raise the temperature of the air around me and heat objects up, such as a blanket to keep warm, or my servos when I give Screamer a wing massage. Isn't that right hun? Novaflame explained.

Starscream nods dreamily at the mention of Nova's wing massages

Ah, that would explain it! Such gifted Cybertronians have been documented, but I never actually thought I would meet one in my lifetime. Ratchet exclaimed.

That is true, anyways, enough about me, we need a diagnostic on Air Surge, we do not know what they were doing to him. Novaflame explained to Ratchet and handed Air Surge to him.

Ratchet ran the diagnostics on Air Surge, and nothing was changed, there was nothing out of the ordinary about the seekerling, no hidden bombs, no trackers, nothing but the usual inner workings of a seekerling.

Well, I have to hand it to you Novaflame, you did a lovely job in fixing this little one up, I heard he was opened right up and crying in pain, I think you guys were lead right into a trap, one that Novaflame managed to disarm pretty easily. That temper of his maybe terrible, just as his is, but I know him well enough that if he looses his temper, it is only because the one who angered him deserves what they get. Ratchet said.

That's horrible, who would do such a thing? June Darby asked.

Shockwave was the one who did it, and he will pay in due time, do not worry. Novaflame answered.

Well, Air Surge is starting to come to, I will be giving Air Surge his medicine now, he is beginning to fuss and cry from the pain he is in. poor thing, he did not deserve that, I gotta feeling he is going to need some affection and love for the next little while, simply because I fear this may have traumatized him. Ratchet explained before handing Air Surge back to Starscream,

Starscream returned the Seekerling to his cradle, he noticed Ratchet had upgraded them to prevent any future accidents. Novaflame joined his mate in their room and Starscream gave Novaflame a gentle hug.

Oh Novaflame, thank you so much for dealing with Megatron like that. I want to give you a hero's reward, because you are now considered a hero in my books, you rescued an imperiled seekerling against all odds. And defeated an evil warlord, bringing him to his knees, making him beg for mercy and making him give up the seekerling to you. You were amazing. Starscream said.

Well, perhaps I do deserve it, I accept your hero's reward then. Novaflame answered.

Chapter 3: Hero's Reward

Novaflame and Starscream crawled into their birth, and began to fondle each other softly, making each other moan and gasp as the tingling pleasure begins to surge through their bodies.
