"Of all the places we had to meet," Vincere thought, glowering up at the old cathedral. Spires stuck up on several corners of the forgotten gothic masonry, and a couple more had crumbled and fallen to pieces. Stained glass, once colorful and beautiful, was dark and dirty where it wasn't shattered completely. The cobblestone path was cracked and overgrown with weeds, and vines seemed to be trying to take over the western half of the cathedral.
The horse kept his eyes peeled for any dangers as he approached the ostentatious work of art, hand resting on the pommel of his sword, ready to draw in an instant if he had to. The front door of the cathedral had withstood the test of time better than even the stone had. It was a heavy, carved piece of ebony stained so dark that it appeared black. Some skilled craftsman had spent months carving intricate runes and sigils. There were no other adornments on the door save for the large, spiraled handle.
Vincere was no slouch and had plenty of muscle on his frame, but it still took a good couple of tugs before managing to pry the door open wide enough to get inside. It opened directly into the main auditorium of the cathedral. Dirt, dust, and debris littered the floor among all the pews that lined the way up to the main stage. At one point a carpet might have carpeted the aisle down the middle, but all that was left now was tattered bits of mold-eaten fabric.
Light filtered in through the rafters where the roof had caved in, and only a handful of pews appeared to still be intact. The large, stone columns stood strong, though. Beautiful works of marble of corinthian design with smooth buttresses from the walls to provide additional support. The ceiling was intimidatingly high and even with the light coming through, Vincere couldn't quite see into the shadows above.
"Shame to let a place like this fall into disrepair," he thought, tracing a hand across one of the benches as he walked down the aisle toward the raised dais. He could just imagine this place in its glory, full of light, music, and people.
Spettro's eyes followed the horse's entrance into the grand hall, lips curling up in a wicked smile. The way he walked told the bat that he was nervous and on guard. Spettro would have to be careful.
Vincere took a few steps up onto the dais and looked back out across the rows of pews, a sad smile touching his features as he imagined them full of life and laughter.
The bat jumped from one rafter to another, veiling his sound from the horse below. Once he was directly above the horse he spread his arms to the side, black, leathery wings spreading out. He fell from the rafters, turning to a black mist as he descended, swooping down upon the unsuspecting the horse.
The horse had been standing with his back to a stone statue of an angel when he heard the rushing sound of something dark and ominous from ahead. In a quick motion he drew his sword, stepped forward, and swung the heavy blade through the black mist.
The blade of Victalacchius shone with its own light as it sliced through the air. Meant for two hands by most, the horse had enough strength to grip the cruciform hilt with only one. Victalacchius' blade contacted the stone of the angel statue and passed through it as if it were paper, and the angel's head clean from its torso. It wobbled in place before rolling backwards and onto the ground without further damage.
Black mist swirled around the blade as it passed through, then it coalesced into the vague outline of the bat before solidifying. Spettro grinned and took a step forward, waggling a finger at the horse. "So touchy," he said.
Vincere's heart was racing and he grunted when he saw the bat, eyes narrowing in the dim light. "Spettro," he muttered, sheathing the sword and sighing. "Why do you insist on scaring me like that? One of these days I'm going to cut you in half."
The bat stepped forward and placed both of his black, gloved paws on the horse's hips, standing on his tiptoes to kiss the underside of the horse's white muzzle. "Nonsense. I'm too quick and agile for that," he teased, a light growl escaping his lips as the light kisses turned into gentle nibbles, teeth pricking at the horse's jaw line.
Vincere's chest rumbled and he wrapped his arms around the bat's mid, squeezing him into a tight hug as his head tilted to one side to bare his throat. "I hope so, for your sake. I'd never forgive myself, or you, if I were to cause you harm."
Spettro chuckled and slipped both his paws up under the cotton tabard, tracing claws along the muscled, white chest. "Ooh, but I like it when you cause me harm. A little pain never hurt anyone," he said, exploring the knight's back and sides with nimble fingers.
The horse brought a hand up to undo the clasp of his cloak, the white and red fabric falling to the floor behind him. The sword was removed from his waist and he gently let it fall atop the crossed-fabric. He couldn't help but smile at the bat's words and brushed back the long, black hair from Spettro's face, black eyes meeting his pale blue pair. "You really are quite bad for me," he chided.
Spettro faked an offended gasp and drew his head back from the horse's neck. "Me? I'm the embodiment of purity. I have nothing but good inside me," he said, paws tugging the horse's tabard up and off, dropping it to join the cloak. He wrapped his arms around Vincere's neck and leaned up to press his short, black muzzle to one of the white ears. "And I am in desperate need of a refill."
A shudder ran through the horse's body and his hands cupped the bat's lower back and rear, kneading gently. "That forked tongue of yours is going to get you into trouble some day."
"Perhaps," Spettro agreed, discarding his own cloak and stripping from his black tunic. "But in the meantime, I'm content with it getting me into you," he whispered, hugging close to the taller horse, their bare fur pressed together.
Vincere let out a soft moan and dipped his head to press his lips to the bat's, tongue darting out to seek entrance to the bat's slim muzzle. Spettro's tongue curled around the horse's and they embraced affectionately, tongues twisting together while paws explored bare bodies.
The bat's fingers toyed with the front drawstring of the knight's pants before the fabric dropped to the floor silently. Vincere broke the kiss as deft fingers circled his heavy sheath and cupped his swollen balls. It had been quite some time since the last time they'd seen each other and the simple touch ignited the need inside him.
Spettro chuckled and squeezed the dropped length as it began growing under his pads. "Ooh, eager, are we?" he asked, tugging the soft flesh from the pouch and rubbing it against his own stomach.
"It's been, what, three months since we last saw each other?" Vincere asked rhetorically, kissing the bat between his large ears. "And I'm always eager when I'm with you."
The bat's cheeks flushed with a mix of embarrassment and affection, though the black fur of his cheeks kept it hidden. "And in all this time you can't relieve yourself?" he asked.
"It's not the same without you there, and I'm too busy to pay my need any mind," he said. "Duty comes first." Vincere's hands tugged the bat's pants open and soon left them both standing naked on the stone dais.
Spettro's ears folded back and his grip loosened on the horse's shaft as he leaned against the muscled chest, smiling inwardly. "I've given you permission to be with others. I know our respective duties keep us far too busy to be together for more than a few days at a time."
Vincere laughed and shook his head, nosing against the flattened ears. "Never. You may have others, but for me, there's only you," he said, chest rumbling appreciatively as he ground his stiff cock between those fingers.
The bat wouldn't admit that he himself couldn't bring himself to be with anyone else but the large horse, and he just shook his head and laughed. "Well, if that's how you choose to live your life, who am I to complain? As long as you're happy," he said, squeezing back down on the thick shaft.
"I'm quite content," Vincere whispered, paws running down Spettro's back and cupping the firm, black rear. "You do things for me... to me... that I don't think anyone else ever could."
A wicked smile played across the bat's muzzle and his ears perked up. "Ooh, likewise. And, speaking of those... things..." His voice trailed off as he took a step backwards, away from the pile of their clothes, pressing his back against the angel's statue, paws bringing the horse with him by the shaft.
It was Vincere's turn for his cheeks to heat up and darken beneath snow-white fur. "Oh. Right," he whispered huskily, his shaft throbbing in anticipation. "I forget just how deviant your tastes can be."
Spettro's muzzle parted in a gentle moan and his eyes closed, tongue tracing over his sharp canines. "You're an intoxicating beast and indulge me in my wildest fantasies... and I want to be indulged," he whispered.
Vincere grunted in acknowledgement and gave the bat a quick, deep kiss before pressing his forehead to the bat's. He took a deep breath, relaxing as best he could, his hard cock pressed up against the bat's stomach and bottom of his ribs. Hot, steaming liquid bubbled from the tip of his length, running down the mushroom head and over the bat's fur before it turned into a thick stream.
Spettro's body shuddered in perverse pleasure as he felt the horse's burning liquid spray up against his chest, neck and underside of his muzzle. The liquid felt like fire on his short fur and skin and his paws squeezed that length against his body, able to feel the rush of the horse's liquid running up through the shaft.
The horse let out a soft moan as he felt his full bladder empty itself against the smaller bat, dripping down to their feet and spreading out against the once-white marble. When first asked to do this, many years ago, the thought repulsed him, but over time he'd grown accustomed to indulging the bat, and found himself enjoying the act as much as Spettro did.
The bat's chest, arms, and wings were coated in a sheen of the horse's nearly-clear urine. Though there was a great deal of it covering his body, there was hardly much scent behind it and the bat dropped to his knees in front of the horse, pulling the shaft down to eye-level. He could feel the hot liquid splashing out against his blunt muzzle and anointing his head in their own perverse ceremony.
Vincere's stream died off, leaving the smaller male soaked and shining in the little light coming through onto the dais. He watched as the bat's muzzle dragged along his shaft, worshipping every inch with paws and tongue. Pre formed at the tip and that was lapped away without reservation.
Spettro's uncut shaft pulsed between his legs, pre rolling down the underside as he pleasured the horse's length. His slim muzzle descended upon the hard flesh, barely able to get far enough along to tease the medial ring with his lips. His pointed canine's gently scraped against that ridge and he felt the horse's cock throb hard against the back of his throat.
"Oooh, wicked bat..." Vincere whispered, his paws caressing the large ears, hips rolling gently to ease a couple inches of his shaft between those smooth, black lips.
Paws hefted the heavy, white sac and then traveled against the off-white flesh of the horse's shaft that he couldn't fit into his muzzle. Mottled grey and black was splattered across the length and Spettro's paws squeezed and tugged at it while bobbing his muzzle back and forth, lightly pricking the length to draw out a heated moan from the horse.
The bat's need came to a head before the horse's and he pulled off with a soft gasp, licking his lips of the pre that had been drooling into his maw. "I need you. Now," he whispered.
Vincere couldn't argue if he wanted to. He watched with lustful eyes as the bat spread his arms and wings across the angel's spread pair behind him. Lithe but powerful, black legs raised off the ground and wrapped around the horse's waist, drawing him near.
Spettro's head rolled back into the space occupied only moments ago by the statue's head and he let out a soft sigh as he spread his arms against the statue. "Take me," he husked.
The horse's thick head was pressed up against the bat's passage and those athletic arms cradled the bat's back for more support as he leaned forward. So much time passed between each visit that neither could ever get completely used to one another's body, though the feeling was wonderfully familiar and appreciated.
"Oooh... I always forget," Spettro whispered as the large head popped into his tunnel and began digging deeper. The stretch hurt, and his insides objected to the intruder, but he enjoyed the pain. His passage squeezed down in Vincere's length and he squeezed the horse closer with his legs. "Harder... don't you dare take it easy on me," he growled throatily.
Vincere's body shook as the bat spoke and he nodded his assent. He gave a rough shove forward, pressing the bat against the stone statue as his length hilted in the bat's narrow passage. They both cried out together and Vincere tugged himself back to ram in again, medial ridge popping audibly through the stretched ring.
Spettro's paws squeezed the stone wings and his head rolled back and forth on the marble shoulders as the horse began gathering speed. He was going to be sore all over as his body rocked back and forth on the hard statue, but it would be well worth the pain. His uncut length hadn't softened, and pre dripped out over his wet stomach, begging for attention.
The horse leaned down close to his partner and buried his muzzle against the bat's neck, kissing and huffing softly as his hips worked to drive himself in harder and faster. Heavy balls slapped the bat's rear and his paws held Spettro's weight in his arms as his thrusts rocked them both against the solid statue.
"Y-yes... more. Let go," Spettro breathed, gasping for breath as some of the deeper jabs took the air from his lungs. He leaned up against the horse and bit at the muscled neck, whimpering needfully into the white fur.
Vincere's lips curled back and a snarl and his hips twitched, a couple of his thrusts coming in erratic and hard. His hands gripped the smaller form against his own, picking up speed as their bodies slammed together over and over. The bat was muttering something incoherent and probably dirty, and Vincere's eas flicked backwards as his orgasm stirred deep inside him.
The bat could feel the horse's head flaring inside his passage and his sensitive spots were mashed over and over. His cock bounced and slapped against his stomach as the horse's humps threatened to force him through the solid marble he was supported by. Tears ran from Spettro's eyes as he felt himself peak. Spettro cried out as his cock throbbed between them, ropes of white seed splashing out against their stomachs and chests as Vincere continued to drive forward into him.
The horse was just behind and he gave one final thrust before a torrent of seed flooded the bat's passage. Long strands of thick, syrupy cum leaked from around the horse's shaft, trailing down over his balls and the inside of his thighs before pooling at their feet.
Their bodies shook and arms strained to keep them from collapsing completely. Spettro took a deep breath and then released the wings of the angel, throwing his arms forward and around the horse's neck. Vincere grunted from the shift in weight, but held onto the bat protectively, squeezing him close while still buried deep.
As Vincere straightened his spine, holding the bat against his chest, he could feel more of his seed pour out and splatter on the floor, making him chuckle.
Spettro noticed as well and lightly clawed at the horse's shoulders. "I see how it is... trying to drown me from the inside out, aren't you," he asked, kissing the side of the horse's muzzle.
Vincere closed his eyes, holding the bat close and snickering. "Mmm, you're right, I should be careful. I don't need for you to have yet another fantasy that I must partake in," he teased warmly.
The pair held onto each other for a few more minutes before the horse's shaft slipped free of the bat's passage with a rush of more seed. The bat gingerly moved their clothes away from the mess just in case it spread further, and turned his gaze back to the horse. "There's a small creek behind here we can get cleaned up in," he said, beckoning toward the back of the dais.
The horse grabbed his sword in a clean hand, just in case, and followed behind, shivering as the cooling day's air blew over his wet fur. "Why did you choose this place, of all places?"
Spettro laughed and stepped through a broken doorway into the back courtyard of the cathedral. "I thought it would be a nice, secluded place away from any prying eyes. No one comes this way, so we would be all alone."
"It's sad to see a place like this in ruins," Vincere remarked as he stepped through the broken tiles towards the old, wrought-iron fence. It was broken in places and he could step through to follow the bat down to the clear water of the creek.
The bat looked back at the large, gothic church and then smiled to the horse. "Not all dark things in ruins stay that way forever," he said knowingly. "I'm sure that it'll have a purpose later."
Vincere considered that and then let out a soft laugh of agreement. "Too true," he said, pulling the bat close to kiss his cheek.
They cleaned themselves off mostly in silence and after walking back up to get dressed, the bat spoke again. "Do you know when I might see you next?" he asked, pulling his black cloak around his shoulders.
The horse pulled on his bright, white cloak which seemed never to darken in color or attract any dirt. "I don't know. There's always someone out there that needs my help. It's rare I find a moment to myself. I show up where needed, though, and if you ever truly need me, I'm sure I'll be right there beside you," he said, nodding his head. "Just have to have some faith."
Spettro's eyes glittered and for a moment he was afraid he might actually cry, but he steeled his resolve and smiled to himself. "I know how that goes. I find myself busy, too. But I'll be sure to see you again, soon. Three months is far too long between being with you."
Vincere nodded and pulled the bat against his chest, nuzzling down between his ears. "Take care. I love you."
The bat's eyes watered and his voice caught in his throat, but he just nodded. "Yeah," he whispered hoarsely, blinking his eyes rapidly to clear them as he pulled away. "Take care of yourself," he whispered back.
Their hands squeezed together before the bat's paws suddenly turned into a black mist and a rushing sound carried the wispy figure from the cathedral, leaving the horse alone on the marble dais.
