Chapter 1: It all Begins
It has been a while since the last time we have checked in on our heroes. A few years have passed and a lot of change to them since their viscous battle against one of the greatest enemy of their time. Give up on who they might be, well then I will tell you. Our famous heroes are the king and queen of their realm, Zeton and his loving mate Saneria. We shall start this new story...with them. It was late in the afternoon as Zeton walked into his bedroom, where his beautiful and loving mate Saneria was waiting. As he closed the door behind him and looked at where Saneria laid on the bed, he couldn't help but noticed her body as the sun rained onto it through the window, and all it did was bring his mind back to the first time he met her. Her scales were the color grey with a silver hue and sky blue stripes that start on the bottom of her neck and stopped at the base of her tail. Her claws, horns, and under belly were ivory white, and her beautiful eyes were the same color as her stripes. Her body slender and so slick, but now as he stared at her he could tell that she kept that figure, even after having his children. His eyes traced even more over her body in till his eyes caught something hanging around her neck. That's when he knew she was still wearing the necklace he gave her on the beach when he asked her to be his mate, and he couldn't be any happier that she said yes.
"How's my beautiful queen today?" He asked as he slowly walked towards the bed, and all she could do was smile.
"As fine as my handsome king." She watched as he walked towards her and her eyes started to wonder down his body. He had diffidently changed since the first time she met him. From the first time she looked at his body, when he was fit and strong to now where he is still so fit, but so much stronger. She could see it as his muscles flex and moved with each step he made. Everything else stayed the same from his green eyes and black scales with gray strips that go to the tip of the nose to the tip of his tail grey underbelly to the a scare on his tail which is at the base and ends half way. "What kingly duties have you completed today/" She asked with a giggle.
"Oh the usual, food problems, helping the poor, convicting villains, but there is one more duty I must do for today." He said while his smile turned into a grin.
"Oh and what might that be?" She asked as she traced small circles around her right thigh.
"I must satisfy the lust of one sexy soul before I am to retire to my fatherly duties." They both looked at each other with lust in their eyes. Zeton walked closer and leaned in to give his queen a deep and passionate kiss. They kept getting deeper and deeper into the kiss, but soon they broke apart to the sound of something ripping nearby. When they looked in the direction the sound was coming from, the sight they saw made them freeze. A huge hole seemed to be floating in mid air, it hung there for a bit before something seemed to reach out, and by the look of it, and it wasn't going to be good. It wasn't long till a body of a full grown dragon stepped out and looked directly at Zeton and Saneria, and all it did was spread a wicked looking smile along its face.
"Ah, Zeton long time no see huh?" The dragon said in a deep and low tone. Zeton's eyes went wide as he remembered the sound of the dragon's voice.
"Zeton, who is that?" Saneria asked and Zeton remained speechless.
"Come now Zeton, surely you do remember. Someone who has helped raised you." The dragon's evil grin grew more as he noticed Zeton's hands extend with his claws in full view. "So you do remember." The mysterious dragon's grin grew more.
"What are you doing here Kaous; I thought you wouldn't come back for many more years." Saneria gasped as Zenton mentioned the name Kaous.
"I'd thought I'd pay an earlier visit." Zenton started to growl as his pupils stated to narrow into slits.
"You better get out of here!" Zeton's eyes started to turn from its original greed color to its blood red rage color.
"Now, now, now Zeton. There is no reason to start getting angry. At least not yet." Kaous replied back while shaking his fingers. "I am giving you a chance." He turned around and walked into the portal. "You want to destroy me, then follow me." He walked into the portal and he seemed to disappear. Zeton turned to Saneria as his eyes reverted back to normal, he stared into her eyes and she know what he was thinking.
"No Zeton, you know he is leading you into a trap!" Saneria yelled while shaking her head.
"I know but this might be the only time I will get a chance to kill him and rid him of this world." He replied back while holding onto her hands.
"I know, but what if something is to happen?" Zeton looked away for a moment before returning his gaze into her eyes.
"Then you and the children will need to be strong, for our son would take my place and I hope you can help him be a better king then myself." Saneria was taken back by this but she kept her gaze into his eyes.
"No Zeton, your gonna come back, and I'm gonna make sure you do!" This time Zeton was taken back.
"No Saneria, if something is to happen to me you would have to stay here and take care of the children." Saneria just shook her head and tighten her grip on his hands.
"No, I took the chance of losing you once, and I'm not going to do it again." Zeton was speechless at this point and Saneria continued. "Kaous expects you to come, but he we can surprise him is I was to come. That way we can get the better or him and end this together." Silence was there for a while as Zeton thought to himself. He knew she was right, but what if something was to happen to both of them. Yet if she was right they could end this so no more darkness would spread across the land like before.
"Fine, but you have to promise me. If anything is to happen to me in there" He pointed at the portal. "You will get out of there as fast as possible ok?" All she did was nod.
After a few minutes Zeton and Saneria quickly made his way out of his room and down the hall towards Torlanno and Liten's room where Crosain was watching them, but to their surprise everyone was in there. "What are you all doing in here?"
"We all know what happened. You didn't think we couldn't hear you when you yelled." Volaxone replied back.
"What in the world happened in there?!" Crosain asked. It took Zeton almost half in hour to tell them without going crazy with rage.
"How is it possible that Kaous is back? I thought he would be gone for good when you defeated him." Traisa asked with a surprised look on her face, and she wasn't the only one surprised.
"We don't know, we thought the same thing but somehow he survive and has been planning for a way to get revenge against Zeton."
"And you both are actually thinking of chasing after him even though you both know it could be a trap?" Volaxone asked.
"We have to; this might be the only time we can kill him before he gains more power." Zeton said as he walked over to his and Saneria's children who were sound asleep, even after his very loud yell. He gave each of them a kiss on the head and switch places for Saneria to do the same.
"Are you two serious about this? What if something is to happen to you two?" Volaxone asked while looking towards Zeton and Saneria's children, and they knew what he was talking about.
"We know, but if something is to happen we would like all of you to watch over them, but with me and Saneria together nothing can defeat us." Everyone agreed with them and they prepared themselves by grabbing their weapons and attaching it to their belts. They stepped in front of the portal and looked back to see everyone seeing them off and wishing them good luck before they set off to beat their greatest enemy.
As they walked through Saneria couldn't help but look around to what it seemed like stars started floating around them before changing into bright and beautiful colors. "Wow, where are we?!" Saneria asked as they continued walking in the portal, which had lights of all colors now swirling around them.
"I'm not to sure, but let's keep going. Kaous is bound to pop up sooner or later." Zeton replied back. They kept moving on not saying another word fearing that they wouldn't be able to surprise Kaous when they got closer to him.
In another realm
A human in a white drench coat was walking back in forth with another human wearing the same thing sitting in a chair was starting to nod off. "Chris! Stay awake now; we are so close to achieving our goal here." Chris snapped awake and looked at the other scientist.
"Sorry professor Kastraca, but I'm only a college student and I can't take a chance of staying up all night." Chris replied back while standing up and stretching his back.
"Neither can I, since I teach you and many other students when I myself are as young as you." Kastraca said while typing down on a machine that was located in another room.
"Then why are we working so late on this machine?" Chris asked before sitting down and yawning.
"Because if we can finish this machine we can travel from realm to realm, world to world, planet to planet, and all this so we have another place we can call home. That and the government want this down but next year." Kastraca answered back.
"Well if they want it done by next year then why are we trying to finish it now?" Chris asked again.
"Well we may need that time to make sure everything works fine with it." Kastraca answered back again before he walked over to the machine and tightened some bolts.
"Oh, well I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to help you tomorrow. I mean it's like four in the morning and we both have class in the morning, I'm learning and your teaching so I'm gonna need some sleep." Chris said while hanging up his jacket near the steel door.
"You have a point, but I can stay in here for a while. If I'm not back you know the school will get a substitute. "Kastraca said back while Chris rolled his eyes.
"You're lucky you know that? You are a twenty-three year old with a job at both a college and with the government and if you're late for one of them it's like no big deal." Kastraca just laughed at Chris' response before he left.
Kastraca just walked back and forth between the machine and computer for a few minutes before he spent nearly an hour on the computer punching in codes and sequences waiting for something to happen in till finally he slammed both fist down on both sides of the laptop. He looked towards the machine from behind the special glass in the next room when out of nowhere a human female appeared surprising Kastraca.
"God Pro, don't do that!" Kastraca said while calming down from his fright.
"I am sorry sir, but when you slammed down on the central machine consol you summoned me." Pro said as she flashed over to the consol.
"Next time say programming starting or something Pro ok?" Kastraca asked while turning around and continued typing on the laptop.
"Yes sir, now may I ask why you are still up at so late a time working with the Realm Project?" Pro asked as Kastraca continued typing.
"I am working so late because I am so close to finishing this Pro, I only have to find the living code of another world and then the machine will work but it is so hard to find a code when you have no idea how to find one other then your own planet's." Kastraca said while turning around and looking at Pro.
"Yes living codes, the codes that a planet which holds and can sustain life." She stopped as Kastraca waved his hand for her to stop.
"I know what they are; I am the one who discovered them." Pro nodded and looked at the laptop.
"And now you are the one who will discover a new realm." Kastraca just laughed.
"Don't try to cheer me up. I haven't found anything in days so how will I find it now." Pro just pointed to the laptop behind him.
"Just turn around and look." Kastraca did just that and his eyes shot wide open with excitement.
"Whoa, where did that huge energy spike come from?!" Kastraca asked as he started typing like crazy.
"What do you mean by spike sir?" Pro ask as Kastraca typed in codes and sequences.
"As in a surprise of codes popping out of nowhere, and I don't know what is happening but something is opening up, something that can connect me to that realm." Kastraca replied back before the machine started up out of nowhere. "What the1?" Was all he said before he realized that something was coming out of the machine. He quickly grabbed his desert hawk pistol and shoved it into its sheath and looked towards to machine to see what was going to come out of it. What he saw completely shock him. The first thing he saw was a scaled foot, and slowly even ore came out before two full grown dragons, one with black scales and the other with grey scales stood right outside of the portal, each looking around trying to find something. Slowly one of them looked right at Kastraca and he knew he was in trouble. He stood there waiting for what ever the creature might to do him, but that was before the creature just raised his right hand up and aimed it right at him. "What in the world is he doing?!"
"Sir, high heat ratings coming from that creature's hand. Scanners indicates fire sir" Pro said while the creature continued to hold up its hand.
"Where is Kaous?" The creature asked in a deep tone.
"Kaous, who in the world is that?" Kastraca replied back, and by the growling and showing of teeth from the creature, he could tell it wasn't a good answer.
"Sir, the temp readings are even higher now. Reader's indicate that." Pro couldn't say much more as a fireball fired out of the creature's hand and strait towards Kastraca, thank fully he was able to duck just in time to have the fireball pass through the glass and over his head. He stood back up to see the creature still holding up his hand. "Sir and even higher reading coming from that creature's hand." Before long the creature flung his arm from side to side and it spread, so even if Kastraca was to duck the fire would burn through the metal and probably hit him, but he didn't duck he jumped up and grabbed the pipe, and this allowed him to just barely dodge the fire before he jumped back down to see the creature charge right at him. Next thing he knew he was against the wall with the creatures hand around his neck and pressing against it, chocking him. He looked over to see the other creature trying to hit pro.
"It's not real, you can't hit it." Kastraca said before the creature's grip grew tighter.
"Where is he?!" The creature asked and Kastraca just looked at him.
"Where's who?" The grip grew stronger.
"Don't play stupid, you know who. Now where is he?!" At this point Kastraca could barely breathe, but something started to happen with the machine causing the creature to drop him and looked at the machine, and of course Kastraca looked at the machine before looking at the laptop to see the word 'MALFUCTION" Spread across it. He jumped up and started typing, but no matter what could he type in nothing worked, and it wasn't too long before something really went wrong. The machine went crazy and a powerful force of sucking started to come from the machine pulling at both the creatures and him and they all went flying towards it but all of them grabbed onto something. The creature that had him by the throat grabbed onto the floor grating while the other one held onto one of the many cords in the room, but Kastraca grabbed onto a pipe that popped out of the ceiling. Yet the force was too much for the pipe and it broke sending him hurling through the portal sending him to who knows where, but it wasn't long before he came out flying on the other side. He just rolled backwards before sticking his landing, but when he stood up he had the pipe he was hanging onto before bust him right in the face knocking back once again. When he finally stood back up his head was pounding, but that wasn't before his head was being pound into a tree, and when he opened his eyes he could see that creature once again being the one that was holding him by the neck.
"What did you do?!" The creature yelled as the other one looked around with a worried look on her face.
"I didn't do anything, something caused the machine to malfunction and boom here we are in I don't know where." Kastraca could see the rage in the creature's eye but when they other came over and looked at the other.
"Zeton, I don't think we are back home." This caused Zeton to look around.
"I think your right Saneria." When he returned his gaze back over to Kastraca he was surprised to see Kastraca use the tree to help him do a back flip kick right into Zeton's jaw. This caused Zeton to stumble back letting go of his grip on Kastraca. Kastraca did nothing but breath heavy and hang onto his throat. He looked to see the one Zeton called Saneria looking right at him with anger in here eyes yet there were also tears, she was crying, but it wasn't long before Zeton fly up to him trying to uppercut him but he dodge it by doing a back flip away and knocking Zeton in the jaw once again.
"What are you doing?!" Kastraca yelled before Zeton came flying at him again.
"Killing the one that separated me from my family, now TELL ME HOW TO GET HOME!!!!!' Zeton yelled as he kept throwing punches at Kastraca.
"I don't know how to, and I have no idea even where we are but if I had my computer we would have been out of here in an instant, but I don't have it. Yet what I can tell we are stuck here." Kastraca replied back while dodging every punch Zeton threw at him, but they both stopped when they heard Saneria fall to her knees and start crying. This made Zeton furious. He turned towards Kastraca and Kastraca could see his pupils narrow and his eye's turn blood red, and Kastraca knew he was in trouble.
"You separated me from my family, and worse made my mate cry. YOU'RE GOING TO DIE FOR THIS!!!!" Zeton yelled as he pulled his swords out and slashed Kastraca at his right shoulder. Zeton was able to get a good hit, but not too good as Kastraca jumped back and pulled his gun out and fired off one shot at one of Zeton's blade. He hit it directly and caused it to fly out of Zeton's hands, but before Zeton could get another hit on Kastraca both of them of all a sudden felt electricity run through their bodies before they both fell limp on the ground. Saneria noticed this and ran over to Zeton and started shaking him trying to wake him up before a bigger and more yellow dragon appeared next to them.
"What did you do to them?!" She asked and the dragon just looked at her.
"This." Was all he said before she felt the same feeling they felt run through her body before she felt limp. The yellow dragon sighed before a purple dragon that was shoulder high and just as long walked up to him.
"Volteer, why did you do that to them? We could have stopped them just by talking to them, not shocking them" It asked while looking at all the conscious bodies..
"I had to Spyro, those two were about to kill each other and I thought they might try to attack us or something. You can never tell what people might do, and we have no idea who these people are or even what that thing over there is." Volteer responded back while picking Zeton and Saneria up.
"You have a point, but maybe when they wake up we can learn what all has happened to them." Spyro replied back while trying to pick Kastraca up. "Ok this creature is heavy, I'm gonna have to drag him." He said before biting down on the collar of Kastraca's jacket and began to drag him, following Volteer towards a big city.
In another part of the realm
"Curse that creature and his.....whatever that thing was." Kaous said when he came out of the worm hole. "I just got my power back only to lose it again, that creature, Zeton and his mate Saneira will pay dearly." He was again in shadow form to conserve his power. He looked around and found himself at a dismal place, nothing grew here and the only landscape was rocks and stones. "Good just how I like it." Then out of no where more of his power went down, and if he didn't get more soon, then nothing would be left of him. He quickly sent out some magic to find a source where he can recharge. He found that something was close and when he went higher then the rocks he saw a dark castle. 'Oh how convenient' he thought to himself with an evil grin. He kept to the shadows going towards the castle. When he got there he saw some guards, he was too weak to fight so he slipped by them.
Once inside he hovered a few inches above the ground and again searches for the source. The magic tells him that is right behind him he turns around only to see a big purple dragon charging at him. The dragon goes right through him and Kaous laughs and says "You fool, neither teeth nor claw can harm me." He then saw the dragon charging a breath attack but before he released it Kaous said "Wait stop I can help you."
The dragon stopped and said "How you can help me?" Kaous was running out of time so he quickly went through the big purple dragons mind and saw the purple dragon's enemies while losing more a bit more of his power. "I can help you get rid of Spyro and Cynder."
"What's the catch?" The big dragon asked.
"I have enemies of my own that I need to be dealt with along with lending your body." Kaous said
"What?!?" The purple dragon responded back.
"Don't worry, you will still have control of your body, the only thing is that you will sense my conciseness and power."
The dragon thought a very long time and Kaous was getting very impatient, but it finally paid off when the dragon said "Okay you got yourself a deal." Kaous then went straight into the dragon, then the dragon started to change the purple scales and gold scales became darker, his claws, teeth, and horns became longer and sharper. Then the left eye became a blood red when the other one stayed the same. When the change was complete the dragon stood up on two legs and looked at himself he smiled an evil smile and said which sounded like two voices "Excellent" Just then a guard came and he said
"Uh...Malefor sir-"
"Don't call me Malefor any more call me Kaulfor!" Kaulfor yelled at the guard. "Yes sir, but just to let you know we spotted two dragons near here and one looks like you while the other looks like Cyn-"
"IMPOSSIBLE!!" Kaulfor yelled and blasted the guard with a huge wave of darkness. The guard was dead before he hit the wall. After a few moments though Kaous said to Malefor Maybe he is right and if he is you we could use him as for the Cynder if she is the same we can kill her then and there. Malefor agreed so he flew off in search of this other Malefor.
The Cynder and Malefor that the guard saw were heading towards the castle. Cynder looked around and back towards Malefor. "Are you sure that this is the same Dragon Realms because I do not recognize your place at all."
"I am starting to think that too, let's land and rest our wings we can walk the rest of the way." Malefor responded back before they both landed and started to walk. They did not get too far though when Cynder saw a dragon that looked like Malefor but more evil looking land right in front of them. They were surprised to see that he was standing on two feet instead of four. When it spoke it sounded like there were two dragons talking at the same time.
"I am Kaulfor join me and we can rule the Dragon Realms." Cynder could tell that this Kaulfor was bad news so while Malefor refused she used one of her abilities to strengthen herself and Malefor. "If you will not be my allies, then you are my enemies and I crush all of my enemies!" He fired darkness from his hand but also used ice from his mouth.
Both Cynder and Malefor dodged both and used their own but they did not connect because there was some sort of shield around him. For a couple of hours it was like this and Malefor saw that it was no use so he said "Go Cynder I will hold him off!" He saw that she hesitated so he then said "Go on I will catch up!" He then saw her fly off and he then said softly "Goodbye my friend."
Cynder flew as fast as she could she then turned around and hovered it was not long before she heard Malefor's dying roar. She then realized that he will be never coming back, turning back around she flew in the same direction she was already going, but this time with tears in her eyes and an obstacle in her way, a giant ring of fire. Moments passed and the fire moved away from her but when she passed it the fire strengthen itself right behind her. She knew she couldn't fly for long before her body could not take the exhaustion from the battle and the loss of her friend that she started to fall from the sky. But someone quickly saw her and got to the point where she would crash land. When he got there he flipped his hood down, he looked a cheetah. He bent down near the dragoness to clean her wounds when he got a good look at her he exclaimed "By the Ancestors! You look just like....but how can that be? I better bring you to Ignitus." He cleaned the worst of the wounds, after that was done he called his falcon and wrote a note to Ignitus that he will be coming and to be ready for more then one guest. He knew that with out carrying the dragoness it would take him a day to get to the dragon temple in Warfang within a day, but since she was unconscious he had to bring her. But he was wondering how he was going to do that when she was half the size and just as long as the guardians. Then he had an idea since he was close to his tribe he could ask for some help. So Hunter covered her up so no one could see her and headed for his tribe.
