Jake slept soundly on his bed, dangling half-way over the edge precariously. Today was the day he would finally venture out into the world as a fully-fledged Pokémon trainer. He'd spent the entire night reviewing just about everything he thought he needed to know, from the basics of camping to the seemingly endless number of Pokémon skills and their type efficiencies Whether that would stick would only be a matter of time
His room was covered in tons of Pokémon-related decorations, a modest collection he had collected since his childhood. Shelves held figures and plushies of various fire-types above his oak wood desk, which was nestled into the corner of the room opposite his bed. Plastered on each wall was a poster of his father along with his infamous Ninetales in battle, rolling flames cloaking the two in a vibrant orange glow. Sitting at the foot of Jake's bed was a life-sized version of that same Ninetales, a gift from his father he cherished throughout his childhood.
The alarm on Jake's nightstand clicked to 11:00, the room's silence lasting a few more seconds before its speakers began to blare music, jolting Jake awake with a jump. His surprise became the literal tipping point as he began to slide off his bed, his arms reaching out to grasp the blanket in a futile attempt to save himself. His head smacked against his stand, knocking the alarm clock off in the process as he landed on the floor with a loud thump.
Jake rubbed the back of his head, wincing when his fingers brushed over the bump. At least the blanket had served as a small buffer against his carpet. The alarm was still blaring its music as Jake fumbled for the source of the noise, eventually wrapping his hands around the plastic case.
"I'm up! I'm up! just shut up already!" Jake shouted, smacking the snooze button with his palm. Still holding the now silent clock, Jake grabbed the edge of his bed and climbed to his feet. Now awake, Jake felt where he had hit his head, still a little touchy but otherwise fine, and glanced down to the clock in his hand.
11:08.... The time was familiar. What was today? Barely awake, the time didn't click in his head for a minute, not until he looked over towards his door, where his fully packed bag sat hanging on the doorknob. He whipped his head back at the alarm clock, the time finally clicking in his head
"11:10!?" he shouted, dropping the clock to the floor. He was supposed to meet the town professor at 11:30 and he wasn't even fully dressed! Jake scrambled over to his closet, tripping over himself twice as he struggled free from his blanket.
He swung the closet door open, plunging his hands into the hanging clothes to pull out something, ANYTHING, to wear. Several shirts and pants fell to the floor as he wrenched two hangers off their pole, a pair of grey pants and a teal Tee dangling on each.
Jake whipped on his shirt as fast as he could, yanking up his pants as he tried to get his head through the correct hole. He grabbed a pair of socks and his well-worn black shoes, slipping both on. He glanced back over to the clock: 11:14. The number spurred him on even more, grabbing his old red jacket and his packed backpack, pulling an arm through one of the bags straps as he opened the door.
He dashed down the hall and around the corner, where the staircase down was. He descended the steps without missing a beat, skipping every other step. His haste was punished when one foot stepped on the other's shoelace, tripping him halfway to the floor.
He stumbled as he twisted around, latching an arm around the railing to stop himself. This time he took the steps a little slower, keeping a hand over the rail just in case.
At the base of the steps, a small landing had a window and the front door, the former open wide to let the afternoon breeze whisk in. Perched on the windowsill was one of his mother's Pokémon, a Talonflame, preened his belly feathers, either uninterested or oblivious to Jake.
"Hey, Tal'!" Jake said, kneeling to retie his shoes. The bird finally glanced up from his cleaning, giving a high-pitch chirp. "Where's mom? I'm gonna be late." Jake asked, standing back up. Talon extended a wing, pointing towards the kitchen behind him. He thanked the Pokémon, turning towards to run into the kitchen.
Inside, his mother was facing away from him, dicing a plate of vegetables with a kitchen knife. An Ambipom sat beside her, cutting up another batch of vegetables with two knifes held in each of his hand-like tails. Sitting beside her was a bowl filled with cereal, made when he had fallen to the floor above. He grabbed the bowl, half running, half walking into the dining room to eat. Jake's mom turned towards him, chuckling to herself as he sat down to eat, setting her knife down on the cutting board.
"Sleep well, Jake?" She chimed, kissing him on the cheek.
"Hardly. I spent all night trying to go over everything!" He replied, trying to shovel in as much cereal as possible. He glanced at the clock on the wall, it was 11:22, which spurred him to finish his bowl. He downed the rest of the milk, leaving the bowl on the table in his haste. He gave a quick kiss on his mother's cheek before dashing out towards the front door.
"Be careful out there Jake! And don't forget to call!" His mother yelled as he opened the door.
He replied with a short "Don't worry, I won't forget!" before shutting the door behind him. The dirt road outside was empty, and Jake wasted no time in sprinting down towards the professor's lab, a wake of dusting trailing behind him.
He made it to the lab in record time, climbing the steps three at a time as he reached the door, stopping long enough to catch his breath. Once he was composed, Jake opened the door to the lab and stepped in. The professor was currently hunched over a machine, chatting with a colleague about something Jake couldn't hear.
Closing the door, Jake noticed a couple others in lab coats working with various equipment and speaking to a couple Pokémon. The professor finished his conversation and powered down the PC, turning towards Jake with a smile.
"Hello! I am professor Rowan, are you one of the new trainers scheduled for today?" Professor Rowan extended his hand, which Jake shook firmly, smiling back at him.
"Yes actually! I hope I'm not late, I woke up a little late this morning." Jake said, a measure of nervousness entering his voice. The professor laughed, easing Jake's discomfort a little.
"No, you're right on time actually. Since you're already here, let's begin right away. Do you need me to go over anything before you select your Pokémon?" Rowan gestured to a round pedestal near the center of the room, six identical Poké Balls sitting halfway embedded into the white table.
"No thank you, I made sure to study up on everything I could last night" Jake replied, following Rowan's hand to look at the Poké Balls.
"Then you may select any of the Pokémon on the table. First I'll let you meet each one before you select." Rowan picked up two of the red and white balls, pressing the buttons on both and throwing them into the air.
A flash of white shot from the balls as they popped open, the light streaking down to form the silhouette of two Pokémons. As the light dissipated, a Turtwig and Piplup sat on the ground as their eyes adjusted from the blinding light, peering up at Jake and Rowan.
Rowan repeated the process again more until eventually a Piplup, Turtwig, Chimchar, Cyndaquil, Totodile, and a Chikorita all sat on the floor, idling about, or looking up at the two with curiosity.
Professor Rowan told Jake about what each could do and how they could evolve in time if cared for properly. While the professor told him about each Pokémon, Jake debated in his mind which Pokémon he wanted to choose.
Naturally he was leaning towards one of the fire types, but the others were still very important. Still, the choice came down to the fire-types, and one felt right. When the professor grew quiet, Jake spoke up:
"I think I've made my choice Professor, and I've chosen Cyndaquil" The Cyndaquil's head stood up, a barely noticeable smile creeping over her face. Jake reached down and picked up the small Pokémon, smiling back at her
"Very well then, allow me to store the other Pokémon away and we'll get you ready to become a Pokémon trainer." Professor Rowan recalled each of the Pokémon, aside from Cyndaquil, which had crawled into the hood of Jake's jacket and rested its head on his shoulder.
Rowan called over a scientist who was carrying a tray of Poké Balls, and asked him to retrieve a trainer kit for Jake. The scientist nodded, then returned with a belt and satchel. The belt had five Poké Balls clipped onto the left side, which could expand at the press of its button.
The satchel was filled with various supplies any up-and-coming trainer would need on their journey: Pokémon food, two potions, two antidotes, a PokeDex, a repel, and a couple other necessities for the journey ahead.
Jake graciously took the belt and satchel, putting on both slowly to avoid waking Cyndaquil, who was sleeping soundly in his hood.
"It would seem you are ready to head out into the world, good luck to you Jake." The professor lead Jake out of the lab, and waved at him as he descended the stairs and followed one of the paths out of town.
Cyndaquil was happily snoozing on Jake's shoulder as he walked on the road leading into the nearby forest. There, Jake was hopeful to train a bit and get to know his newfound partner. The trees covered some of the sun from reaching the mossy ground, providing a decent bit of shade from the sweltering heat.
Jake noticed a few Pokémon running through the canopy above, darting between branches, squealing at one another as they disappeared further into the foliage. One of the Pokémon stopped on a branch, glancing down at Jake with beady yellow eyes.
Jake pulled out his PokeDex, flipping it open to get a better view of the Pokémon. A click came from the PokeDex, the screen blanking out for a moment until it came back with a picture of the Pokémon.
"Treecko, the Wood Gecko Pokémon. Treecko are able to climb smooth vertical walls and use their thick tail to attack opponents."
Jake shook Cyndaquil awake, setting her on the ground as the Treecko jumped from the branch to land in the middle of the road. Cyndaquil's sleepiness disappeared when the green Pokémon came into sight, steeling herself for their first battle.
Both Pokémon stared at each other, waiting for the other to make a move. Treecko made the first move, clasping his hands together. The trees rustling as leaves fell from their branches, spinning in the air faster and faster until the grass-type made a sweeping motion with his hands, the leaves catapulting themselves forward past the short Pokémon towards Cyndaquil and Jake.
"Use Ember, Cyndaquil!" Jake shouted without hesitation, pointing towards the leaves flying towards them. Balls of fire began to collect along her back as she lifted her rear up, aiming her fiery vents towards the approaching leaves.
Cyndaquil gave a jolt, the collecting orbs of flames spitting out of her back in a hail of fiery orange, racing to meet with the leaves. Orange and green met each other in a mere moment, exploding into clouds of brown smoke and ash to perfume and cloak the area between the Pokémons.
Cyndaquil's barrage slowed to a halt, the thick cloud blocking any view of the Treecko. She held her ground, eyes darting around for any movement. A shadowy silhouette came into view in the dark cloud, the Treecko bursting from its cover with tail raised high.
"Again Cyndaquil!" Jake shouted. His mind already at work on their next move. Cyndaquil obliged his command, sending another burst of Embers towards the charging Pokémon. Treecko skidded to a halt, diving to the right onto his belly to avoid the attack. Cyndaquil kept pace with him, angling her shots towards the prone, and very still, Pokémon.
This time the Treecko hopped to his feet, crossing his arms in a attempt to block the attack. Fiery bullets peppered both the ground around him, most connecting with every exposed inch of his body. When Cyndaquil's attack ended, Treecko looked ready to collapse. His feet wobbled uneasily, his breathing barely coming to him. Shakily, he took one step towards Cyndaquil, lifting his arms up weakly, readying himself to attack. But it never came, the grass-type's arms fell to his side as he toppled down to a knee.
Jake reached down towards his belt, plucking one of the rock-sized Poké Balls from their clasp and clicked the button with his thumb, the ball expanding to its full size. He chucked the Poké Ball at Treecko like a baseball, bouncing off the top of his head and popping open.
A red beam shot from the ball, arching towards the Pokémon and engulfing him in the same light, the Pokémon fading to the same red hue as it was sucked into the Poké Ball.
Her opponent gone, Cyndaquil ambled back over to Jake smiling up to him, as if to ask: "Did I do good?". He scooped her up into a hug, squeezing her against him.
"You were great Cyndaquil!" He said, the mechanical clicking of the Poké Ball catching his attention after he set Cyndaquil back into his hood. The ball wobbled back and forth, the button blinking a pale red. After several wobbles and red pulses, the ball stopped, a final click emanating from the Poké Ball.
Jake's PokeDex chimed, saying:
"Treecko, the Wood Gecko Pokémon. Treecko can walk on smooth walls and ceilings thanks to numerous tiny spikes that cover the bottom of its feet. Since Treecko build their nests in large trees it is said that those trees will live a very long life."
He pulled out the PokeDex, a readout of Treecko's skills, health, and the description it had just recited displaying on the upper screen. Jake pressed his thumb to the Poké Balls button again, the same red light shooting out onto the ground, letting Treecko out.
Despite the beating he had received from the Embers, Treecko looked nearly fine, several scuffs and scratches on his arms aside.
"Hi Treecko, nice to meet you." Jake said, giving a short wave as the Treecko looked up at him. Jake pulled out one of the potions he had been given by the professor, ushering the Treecko towards him. The grass-type hesitated for a moment, still somewhat cautious of the human, before stepping closer.
Jake gently grabbed ahold of his arm, lifting it up as he sprayed some of the potion onto the wounds. Treecko hissed in pain, pulling his arm away from Jake. The grass-type was ready to retaliate against Jake for hurting him, when the aching pain in his arms disappeared in an instant, replaced by a soothing warmth. He lifted his other arm for Jake to spray, much more willing this time.
The Treecko gave a short bow as thanks, eyes keen on every move Jake made. Jake and Treecko walked together when he was done storing the mostly used potion in his bag, the small pokémon's yellow eyes examining his trainer.
Jake reviewed the PokeDex entry of both of his pokemon, noting that Cyndaquil was a female, whilst Treecko was a male. After all, they were still animals, and had their own separate needs he would have to "take care of" when the time came.
The rest of the day was spent hiking, a couple fights against a few wild pokemon breaking up the otherwise quiet evening. Treecko darted from tree to tree after a while, having finished eying Jake. Every once and awhile he would be beside Jake, the next a shadowy blur along the treetops.
As the sun began to dip behind the mountainside, Jake waved Treecko towards him, a difficult task with how fast the pokemon moved in and out of sight.
"Hey, can you find somewhere we can camp out for the night?" Jake asked, not entirely sure if the pokemon understood him. The pokemon thought for a moment, then nodded, disappearing into the tree line once more. He returned a moment later and pointed towards a break in the trees.
"That was fast." He whistled. Treecko led him through the forest by his pant leg, tugging at its hem until the trees broke away to a sparkling blue lake. Pokemon swam and played with one another in the clear water, others sat at the edges in small packs.
Thankfully the outcropping beside the lake Treecko had led them to was clear of any pokemon. Jake stirred Cyndaquil awake, lifting her out of his hood onto the grassy ground along with his pack with a relieved sigh. The pack's weight along with the fire-type hadn't made the long hike easier, and he was glad to be relinquished of the former.
"Can you fetch us some wood Treecko? Cyndaquil and I'll set up our camp." He asked, unzipping his pack. Treecko's answer came in a short "Tree" before heading out back into the woods. Jake pulled out his folded tent, the primary influencer on his heavy bag alongside the roll mat rolled up atop.
Cyndaquil wasn't much help as he assembled the tent, although that didn't stop her from trying either way, holding ends in her round paws while he inserted the correct piece into their slots. By the time they had the tent strapped to the ground and fully assembled, the sun's rays were all but gone, lit only by the last fleeting rays of light that peeked over the mountaintops.
Treecko returned for the third time, bundles of twigs in each hand. He dropped them with the rest of wood he had collected into a pile where the ground was barren. Cyndaquil formed a small rock ring around the pile of wood per Jake's request, who was taking out a few cooking supplies he had stored in the front pouch of his bag.
"Frying pan. Check. Firepit... Getting there." Jake muttered, setting said pan on the ground as he rummaged through the pouch. Treecko returned for the final time with an assortment of berries and fruits from the forest, setting them down beside the firepit, plopping down beside his days work.
The moon had begun to crest over the treetops. Treecko watched it slowly rise into the night air, the shadow of a large pokemon crossing past it, several smaller ones following close behind.
He tore his gaze away from the moon when he felt the prodding of Cyndaquil's snout against his arm, having spaced out. She nudged him out of the way, scooting her back against the wood pile until they caught flame, bathing the area around it in a faint orange glow as the fire spread.
Jake wasn't far behind Cyndaquil, pan and bag in hand, ready to cook their dinner. Jake pulled a meal pack from the depths of his bag, setting it beside the fire. He took out a spatula and a water bottle before zipping up his bag. He set the pan on the fire, tearing open the top of the meal bag and took out a slab of preserved meat and spices.
After a minute of cooking, the trio were sat around the dying fire, finishing their meals. Treecko stuck mostly to eating the berries he had Jake cook, quiet squeals of joy escaping his mouth with each bite. Jake and Cyndaquil shared the packaged meal together, eating off of plates he had once again procured from his seemingly bottomless bag.
When they were finished the last embers of the fire was already beginning to fade, and Treecko had already retired to their tent for the night, leaving Jake and Cyndaquil outside as they cleaned up after their meal.
Although Jake was oblivious to it, Cyndaquil had been breathing rather heavily since they had made camp, which she had been trying to suppress from the evening till now. Why did it have to be now of all times? Her heat was always sporadic, but back at the lab the professor always had something to help tame her "flame" as it were. Without the professor, she would have to sate her burning lust somehow.
Jake snuffed out what remained of the fire with the remaining water from one of his bottles, stifling a yawn. Jake scooped up his bag and crawled into his tent, changing into his nightwear. Treecko had returned to his Poke ball for the night, which sat in the corner beside the tent flap. Cyndaquil poked her head through the tent flap as Jake tossed his shirt aside, leaning down to take off his shoes.
The fire-type was given a generous view of his body as began to undo his pants. Jake wasn't well-muscled by any means, but there was a faint firmness that lied just below his whitish skin that sent shivers down Cyndaquils back, her flames shooting brighter as her thoughts shifted towards her needs.
Jake finished undressing and redressed into a loosely fitting grey shirt and a pair of baggy shorts, unfurling his roll mat to lay down on. Cyndaquil stepped inside when her flames finally died down enough, Jake already fast asleep.

Cyndaquil curled into a ball away from the tents slanted side, trying to suppress the aching need that burned between her legs. No matter how hard she tried, Cyndaquil couldn't force herself to sleep, and finally gave in to her depraved thoughts. As quiet as a Rattata she crawled over to Jake, her eyes taking in every curve of his body.
But her interest was much lower, covered by those shorts her body so desperately despised. Her eyes never left his head as she gingerly pulled down his pants, leaving only his boxers from her prize. Her nethers egged her on further, and pressed her snout close to his bulge, taking a short sniff. His scent sent a searing heat between her legs, pussy quivering with need.
She grabbed the hem of his boxers and gently pulled, inching them out of the way of her prize ever so slowly. Jake shifted in his sleep, freezing Cyndaquil solid. His stirring stopped after a moment, Cyndaquil giving a sigh of relief. A final tug brought his boxers down to his knees, revealing his cock.
Cyndaquils eyed the soft shaft with a hunger she had never felt before, fluids dripping from her nethers to the mat below. Seized by her own lust, Cyndaquil climbed atop Jake's leg, her fur rubbing against the base of his shaft as she scooted over to his waist.
His shaft, seemingly awoken by her touch, began to grow and rise with each of her movements. Even as it started to rise, Cyndaquil could hardly contain herself, nudging her snout over its head.
Her lips parted for his slowly rising head, stroking at its base with her paws as it rose up to meet her mouth. Of its own volition, her tongue reached out to press against his length. His taste was all it took, a silent squeal leaving her as she took in the tip into her mouth. Jake moaned, a noise Cyndaquil didn't let stop her as she let her tongue kneading every inch that slipped past her lips.
Fueled by her own lust, Cyndaquil slipped one inch, then another of his cock into her eager mouth, her tongue tasting all he could offer. His taste was all she had ever wanted and more, but that fire that scorched her other lips forced her well-earned prize from her lips. She gave one parting lick as she turned around, her swollen pussy angled towards his stiff cock.
Cyndaquil lowered her rear onto his stiff rod, grinding it between her furred cheeks and against her insatiable cunt. She needed him. NOW. Jake's moan had become a fit of grunts and groans, his dreams shifting to better fit Cyndaquils work. She lifted her rear for a moment, lining his head between her burning folds. Jake gave an unexpected thrust as she readied herself, gasping as his shaft split between her folds and into her yearning tunnel.
The heat between her lips followed his abrupt insertion, her canal burning with its own lust for him. She lifted her hips, quivering as his thick cock pulled most of the way out. Her juices kicked into high gear as well, coating his meaty pillar in her own lubricant. She brought her hips back down onto him, sharing a joyful moan as his cock plunged deeper within her warm, velvety folds.
Her legs quaked with every motion, but Cyndaquil forced them to lift her back up, her flames sparking even higher and wider than ever. The still asleep Jake's hips moved with her, pulling his wide shaft out of her until only the tip remained, bringing it deeper within her as she dropped her backside back down.
His cock throbbed within her, bathed in her warm juices that spilled between her wet lips. Every moment seemed to last for an eternity, a feeling she wished could last even longer. Jake's stamina made itself clear though, the throbbing of his shaft and the thrusts of his hips speeding up drastically.
Her legs gave out beneath her, dropping the rest of her weight down to hilt the rest of Jake's cock within her, a feeling of unfathomably fullness overloading her mind. Jake gave two final thrusts before a long, drawn-out moan filled the night air.
His cock sputtered and throbbed as his seed sprayed out into Cyndaquils greedy tunnel, soaking her canal with his cum. Her burning insides reached their peak, a soft scream emanating from the fire-type as juices sprayed from her drenched nethers.
Cyndaquils walls squeezed against Jake's penis, eking out every dollop of cum his balls could offer, gouts of white spurting from her overstuffed pussy. Eventually she regained control over her limbs, still quaking when she flopped off Jake's waist.
Her pussy dripped jizz as she stood up, the burning feeling long gone. Still, the evidence of her actions had to be cleaned. She worked her tongue over every drop that had splattered the tent's floor, cleaning every trace of her actions. With no evidence to be found, Cyndaquil scooted up next to Jake, pressing her cleaned belly against his arm as she fell asleep.
Jake awoke as a ray of light ran through an opening through the tent to light up the dark space. Rubbing his eyes, noticing the snoozing pokemon that was latched onto his arm. His dream last night was the most unusually pleasant dream in a while.
His shorts felt odd as well, but Jake didn't pay it much mind, shaking his arm to wake Cyndaquil. The fire-type was up in a moment, her grip on his arm loosening enough for him to slip out of her grasp. Jake opened his bag and sorted through the days clothing, picking out his outfit for the hike ahead. Cyndaquil sleepily walked out of the tent towards the lake for a drink, leaving Jake alone to dress in peace.
Her heat felt like it had subsided after last night's excursion, a relieving change from the day before. Jake, dressed in a green shirt and brown pants, opened the flap to the tent and stepped out, squinting as the sun glared into his eyes.
Cyndaquil sat near the lake with her head dropped low, gulping from its clear surface. For whatever reason Jake's eyes trailed over her rear, glancing at the unmistakable outline of her furry lips. He averted his gaze, turning back into the tent to grab Treecko's pokeball and his pack.
When he exited the tent again Cyndaquil was walking back towards him, her rump swaying with each step. Treecko's pokeball clicked open in Jake's hand, that familiar red light shooting out to form the short pokemon.
"Guess these Poké Ball's just let you do whatever you want, huh?" Jake commented as he began packing up the tent. Treecko replied with a "Treecko" before he leapt towards the tree line to scavenge for food.
Jake folded up the tent far quicker than they had taken to erect it, stuffing the folded frame and covers into his bag. Treecko returned with another armful of berries and nuts, which they all ate in earnest. Once everything was packed away and Cyndaquil was lifted back into her favorite seat in Jake's hood, he and Treecko made their way back to the route, ready for the day's hike.
