The Princess and the Witch
A princess leaves her ivory towers in favor of the hustle and bustle of the town below. Her knights are determined on retrieving her, but she desires none of it. In her little escape and adventure through the town, she stumbles on a witch's store, a witch who helps her, and so of course, she must return the favor.
Cut into a mountain was a city that stood with buildings and walls that touched the clouds at their highest points. The city sat on steps that were carved out of the mountain and at the top shelf, a castle belonging to the current rulers sat alongside a set of towers and edifices meant for the governing of the rest of the city. Normally the top step of the city was a quiet place where occasionally there might be a few common folk complaining to the officials on high, but today the castle and the surrounding area was in an uproar. Knights were spread from the castle across all the shelves of the city. They walked along the great bridges connecting the shelves and the towns themselves all looking for a single person.
Hidden in the shadows of the alleyways of the trade district, a single figure wandered about with a fang-filled grin glimmering beneath the hood of a flowery red cloak. A thin mouse's tail curled out from beneath the cloak and flicked about in the air behind the figure. Step by step the cloaked mouse padded over to the edge of the alley where they peeked around it to make sure that no one was following them. No knights had followed them from the castle and from where they stood they couldn't see anyone searching for them on the rooftops or the various connecting bridges. For a moment the figure ducked back into the alley to pull back their hood with a sigh. Behind the hood, the mouse had amethyst eyes and soft grey fur with a white spot around one of her eyes. Alva Navarre had managed to escape from the castle knights, the town guard, and her mother. All for a bit of fun.
What a rush! She could still feel her heart thumping against her chest and she took a moment to steel herself against the wild adrenaline running through her body. It never ceased to excite her no matter how many times she had done this. Alva was certainly allowed to go outside, shop, and do whatever it is she desired among her people, but she always needed the company of knights along with the watchful eyes of the captain herself. While the knights weren't necessarily bad company, she couldn't really do what she wanted to do out in public. Meeting people was far too difficult when at any moment you could be pulled away because of a perceived threat. Oh, certainly, she had given it a try time and time again, but time and time again her loyal knights would often threaten to cut off some poor merchant's tail for looking at her with lusty eyes, and well, perhaps she wanted those lusty eyes. Alva wanted to have conversations, she wanted to inspect the lay of the land and all without her mother's influence and protection all around her.
Once she calmed down, she moved back to the edge of the alleyway to once again check for any of the knights that had been dispatched with her. From where she stood, she could see the market square bustling with people of all types. There were kiosks and stalls set up with strange things she had never seen and some things which were most certainly illegal. Buildings surrounded the square with store signs advertising everything that one would need and some curiosities that caught her eye here and there. The best part of the market sprawling before her was the fact that she could still not see a single one of her knights. Perfection.
Alva brought the hood of her cloak over her head and she began to walk toward the market with a big smile. She had done this before, but it always felt like a new experience doing something that could be considered dangerous. The market seemed to welcome her with open arms as she began looking through the various wares offered. Traders and people alike were amiable and eager to show a fresh face what they had to offer. There were fruit stands with berries and strange apples from foreign lands that she couldn't think of along with stands that offered up antiquities and things to make homes look pretty. Alva stopped at a blacksmith's stand where he had every type of blade imaginable on sale. There were plenty of gruff types shopping around his stand and Alva stood by looking over the daggers with a curious glint in her eyes. She had taken a dagger from one of the knights that had been with her, but the thing was old and flaked with bits of rust.
"Hm, so, these daggers are of a fine craft?" She said while holding one up from the stand.
The old tortoise turned his attention to her and looked at the dagger in her paw and he chuckled as he stepped to her, "O'course. I'm not the finest smith, that'd be too much of a stretch, but what I make is sturdy and will last you a long time."
With a smile, she decided to take out her own dagger and offer it up to the old man by the blade. The old man took it with careful digits before she slotted the new piece of metal in her belt. He waited patiently as she took coin from the pouch on her belt and placed it in his other hand. The smith nodded with a grin and the transaction was finished.
Alva continued through the crowd and the sound of what seemed like several thousand voices filled her ears. There was a dull buzz of conversation all around her that seemed to grow louder and in many ways, she loved it!
An ear of hers perked beneath the hood of her cloak as she suddenly heard something cut between the buzz of the crowd. She heard a voice that she recognized fill the air with dread and she grimaced as she turned her head to see the captain of her knights asking people questions. The captain of her personal guard and the castle knights was a tall rat with strong shoulders and fierce green eyes. She could see the anger flickering like flames behind that gaze and Alva winced as she heard the woman yell. Alva felt in some parts bad about the fact that her dear knight was facing such stress, but at the same time, she didn't feel so bad because it was particularly that intense nature that drove off the people she wanted to meet among the common folk. She'd just have to tell her to take a vacation when she got back from her trip.
"You there! Red cloak! Stop! I'd like to ask you some questions."
Alva cursed quietly to herself, but she froze for a moment while thinking about what to do. The crowd around her was slowly dispersing and she could hear the heavy booted steps of the knight beginning to stomp towards her. Alva needed a way out and luckily for her, the crowd was clearing just enough to where she could see an open alley with her name on it.
Before the knight could get too close, Alva dipped into the crowd. She could hear the knight behind her yelling for her to stop but she ducked down low and twisted through the people causing disruption as she dashed about. Alva could have gone directly to the alleyway, but that would have been too easy of a chase. Most likely, her movements would have already given away who she was, but she still had a chance of giving the knight the slip. She could hear the realization in the knight's voice as the orders took on an almost pleading tone, but her day out among the common people wasn't over just yet.
Looking over her shoulder, she could see that the knight was trudging through the crowd with all the grace of someone wearing plate armor. Even if the people were parting for her easily, she still had to contend with the fact that there were so many and Alva took advantage of that. With the knight in the middle of the crowd, she slipped in between the people and out of the main crowd to run into the alleyway. She was in the open for just a moment before the darkness of the alley sheltered her, but she still ran.
Alva knew better than to underestimate the knight and she continued her dash through the alleyway by taking a sharp turn to the left. She stopped for just one moment as she realized she had taken the worst path. There were no other paths that led out of this corridor of buildings and if she turned around she would most likely meet with the knight. She cursed and she thought for a moment that her game was up until she saw that the end of the alleyway was a door with a sign above it that read, "The Witch's Brew."
With a grin, she rushed forward and made her way inside of the store. Once inside she shut the door and looked ahead, realizing only now that she had been panting. The store itself was a small establishment with wooden shelves on either side lined with glowing bottles and at her front was a rather confused feline with green eyes and fur painted black orange and white. The feline wore a beige poncho and had a pointed witch's hat on their head.
"You!" She said suddenly.
The feline pointed to themselves and Alva nodded, "Yes! You, do you have a potion of invisibility?" When the feline pointed toward a glowing grey potion she took hold of it and then asked, "Does it work on clothes?"
"Uhh, no." Said the witch.
Alva began to strip down to nothing in a rush, belt off, long tunic off, and even her underwear before she tossed them onto the front counter along with the pouch containing all of her coin, "You can keep all of that if you do not tell a single soul I was, am here."
The witch looked in the bag and their eyes grew wide before they nodded. Alva popped open the cork and drank the potion and threw it on the ground letting the glass shatter. It tasted bitter and she almost wanted to heave, but instead, she kept the strange liquid down and looked down to see her body disappearing before her very eyes.
Just as the feline set the pouch underneath the front counter, the door crashed open with a crack and the captain of the castle knights came through with a scowl on her features.
"Where is she!"
Alva kept herself to the side and watched as the feline's eyes grew wide and her fur fluffed up at the sight of the knight. The knight looked at the cloak and dagger but before she could say anything the feline witch answered quickly, "If you're looking for the mouse that came in here, she asked which one could turn her invisible, grabbed it, drank it, got naked and left without paying. I don't know where she went or who she even was. Is she a criminal?"
The knight groaned, "No, she's just the Princess of our fair kingdom, but if what you say is true then I have no reason to be here."
"Perhaps...She could have gone to steal some clothes? A Princess wouldn't wander around naked would she?"
The knight paused for a moment before smiling, "Yes...Maybe you're right! I'll take your advice and when I find her I'll drag her by the ear here to pay before taking her back to the castle."
Just like that, the knight left the store. The door shut, but Alva still remained quiet for a few more breaths before letting out a sigh, "I suppose I should be thanking you, but now I have another request...How do I not be invisible?"
After a quick drink of another bitter tasting concoction, the Princess was standing there fully nude and fully visible and grinning as well. The feline could have turned her in, could have asked for a reward or something even better than that, and yet here she was standing and not caught, "Well! I suppose I owe you a great debt. My name is Alva Navarre, and yes, I am the Princess of this kingdom of ours."
The witch cleared her throat, "I think the gold in that pouch is enough, but um...I suppose you should be leaving soon."
Alva thought about it for a moment before shaking her head, "I don't think so. If you don't mind, I'd like to hang around here for a moment just until she gets frustrated and leaves, or at least to catch my breath."
"I...I guess I can allow that, but then maybe you should get dressed?"
Alva blinked and looked down remembering that she was nude, but rather than feel abashed she only giggled. She looked up to see that the witch was averting her eyes and there was a slight tinge of pink beneath the fur of her cheeks, "My! I should shouldn't I? But isn't it nicer if I remain nude? Not every day you see a naked Princess right?"
"I suppose? But isn't it, you know? Not proper?"
Alva shrugged, "That's what makes it fun, right?" She then moved to take a seat on the front counter, "So you know who I am, what is your name friend? I should know it to remember who I owe this day to."
"Uh, Valla is my name, your highness."
Truth be told, Alva could have already been running, but this feline interested her. It wasn't often that she got to interact with the common folk outside of the castle and more than that it wasn't often that she could interact with anyone at all sexually. The feline standing behind the counter was cute and she had just the right idea to thank the pretty witch.
The mouse Princess moved so her legs were on the other side of the counter and she brought a single paw down to cup and grip the feline's chin to bring it up so their eyes were meeting, "Valla...What a pretty name. Tell me, Valla, why do you avert your eyes?" A heat blossomed against her paw as she moved her digits up to the feline's cheeks to stroke gently through the fur. Alva could see the feline searching for an answer in the way she turned her head and the way her ears twitched and folded back, "Come now, you're allowed to stare if you want. You've earned that much at least."
Slowly, the feline looked up at her and she muttered, "But you're royalty and I'm just a common shopkeep. If that knight came back and saw us like this then...then I'd be--"
"Perfectly fine!" Alva then hopped down from where she was seated and the feline began to back away but stopped as the Princess gripped her wrists to tug her close.
For a moment, the witch protested, but everything grew still and quiet as their lips met in a heated exchange. Despite whatever the feline might have said or might have wanted to say in defiance, her lips melded with Alva's in a heated passion almost as hungry as her own. She moved her digits from the witch's wrists all the way up to her cheeks where she caressed softly. The kiss felt like it lasted for so long, but only a few seconds passed before they finally pulled apart.
It had been a spur of the moment thing and even as confident as she was, she didn't know whether or not the feline would want to continue after such a thing, but what few worries she had were pushed away when Valla's mouth met her own again. This time the kiss burned with intensity and she could feel the feline trying to wrest control from her. She squeaked as she felt her wrists being grabbed and she trembled as she felt the warmth of the feline's body press against her own. Their tails curled together and their mouths parted to let their tongues touch and twist together.
When the witch let her wrists go, she felt claws grazing against her sides and tugging at her body. Their lips parted again and this time the feline huffed out her words finally, "If you really think that I deserve a prize...Then I should have control right?"
Alva thought of responding with something haughty, with something that would befit someone of her station, but for a moment she wondered how it might be to serve rather than be served and so instead she giggled, "I suppose you're right...Should I bring myself to my knees and call you my liege?"
Claws at the back of her head brought a shiver down her spine as the feline's voice suddenly took on a hard edge, "You can get on your knees certainly." Her voice then turned to a quiet mutter for a just a moment, "Of course, if this is too much your Highness, then ah, we could not do this."
Rather than answer or spoil the mood, the Princess brought herself to her knees and watched as the feline took her response and changed the tone of the situation again. Valla gripped the hem of the cloth draped around her and pulled it up to reveal she wore nothing underneath. Alva felt her cheeks flush and part of her felt a little bit of apprehension. She was royalty, and she knew that kneeling before a commoner was most definitely below her station, but that only made it more exciting. Reaching forward, she clasped the feline's thighs and brought herself forward to drag her tongue along her crotch.
A satisfied mewl echoed through the store which sent a shiver down her spine. She brought her tongue lower and the feline spread her legs to give Alva access to the witch's pussy. Slowly, she dragged her tongue down to the wet slit while her digits moved to press and pull apart those warm lips. She edged her digits inside softly to stretch Valla open while her tongue flicked inside. Firm digits coiled against the fur at the back of her hair and pressed her close to the heat before her and she did nothing but dutifully serve the witch standing over her while her own digits slowly trailed between her legs to play with her own pussy. She slipped one digit inside of herself while she dragged her tongue deep against the warm slit against her mouth.
Alva allowed the feline to drag her head up and down and allowed her to grind against her mouth. For her, that bit of control that she had relinquished only brought her a surge of warmth and desire that she had not experienced before, and it only seemed to charge her desire. It was with that thought that she felt the grip at the back of her head grow tighter and the grinding against her tongue begin to grow faster. The feline's hips worked to thrust against grind that pussy that her face and Alva took every thrust with the grace that only a princess could. She felt the growing heat against her tongue and heard the light squeaking of the feline above her and shuddered herself as she heard Valla gasp.
The feline was now doubled over the mouse and both were still for just a moment. Valla took a few steps back and sighed, her eyes shut as she crossed her arms, "I...Thank you my Princess, but I really do think you need to leave. I allowed myself to indulge in passion, and...And that was perhaps a mistake."
Alva rose to her feet and she cupped the feline's cheeks. She thought of pushing her over and continuing their fun, but something in the way she shivered looked so suddenly vulnerable and delicate. Alva carefully planted a soft kiss on the feline's nose and she whispered, "Would you accept me if I came back another time?"
Valla did not look at her, but her answer came, "Perhaps..."
The Princess yearned for more, but she dared not push the feline further. She knew her own position affected whatever relationship she might have or might not be able to have, and it hurt, but she understood. Alva thought to say more, thought to say something between them that would keep the romance fresh, but instead, she took her clothes and put them back on. At the end, she hooked her dagger back in its belt and drew the cloak's hood over her head before she muttered, "I'll be back to shop...Without such a dire reason next time."
With that said, she left the store with an ache in her heart that burned for something more. That burn marked a promise to come back someday.
