Nothing made Dustin more pissy than being pulled away from a party on a Saturday night, worse yet was that he was mere inches from getting laid by a cute tigress that he had been working on charming for the past three hours. All he knew was that this had better be for a damned good reason.

The Shiba Inu was a huskier kind of guy, though his height and muscular disposition lent to his fluff and made him out to look handsome enough. A year ago he had started college and gained the Freshmen fifteen and never lost it. On top of that he stopped weight lifting, a hobby that he did almost every day back in high school, though that was mainly for sports reasons.

He just didn't have the motivation to work out anymore, especially now that he had gotten into some of the underground drug distribution for some extra money. It was nothing too bad, mainly weed but on occasion there was harder stuff to sell around. In those cases he often didn't touch the stuff unless he already had a buyer, he liked to have that stuff in his possession for as little time as possible.

The person that was his distributor was a chakat by the name of Tally. She didn't have a home or go to the college, she made most of her money the same way he did but she squatted in one of the abandoned warehouses in the ghetto that she had practically renovated to be one big studio apartment. She called it the hideout because it was so far into the ghetto there was no chance of the police coming across it, and she often hosted her friends that were also other drug dealers.

Dustin had to climb his way over fences and cross through yards to get to the hideout properly, oddly enough the area was so bad where it was that taking the sidewalk was very dangerous. In had grown very dark, and he had just entered into the part of the ghetto where streetlamps didn't even work. That was okay, he didn't have much farther to go.

At last he happened upon the large structure. It reflected its surroundings, graffiti stricken, broken windows, and brush growing rampant about its exterior while trash littered the ground. He found the hole in the wall that allowed him to sneak in, the front entrance barred shut with chains and padlocks.

Once inside he could already hear the sound of a TV set to some movie. Tally wasn't able to get cable, but she did have a DVD player and a shit ton of movies and shows that her friends would often bring her. She was an avid watcher of horror and science fiction, and on the rare occasion, fantasy.

Dustin sighed as he grabbed his cellphone and flicked on the flashlight app to better see where he was going. He had been through here so many times that he was surprised that he didn't have the route to her living space memorized, but even so the building was in such a state of disrepair that one wrong move could get him seriously hurt.

He mainly just followed the sounds anyway, and they grew steadily louder until he eventually stepped in to the main product housing section. The space was filled with most of the same accommodations of a home. There was a stolen table to one side, with a couple chairs around it for guests. Not far from that was a king sized bed fit for a chakat as large as Tally. A couple mini fridges were lined up nearby and a few plastic shelves that held a plethora of canned and packaged food items were right beside those. Around the space were LED lamps that were tapped in and siphoning electricity from a nearby house.

Set out in the middle of it all was Tally herself, lounging across a rather large chaise chair, her lower body taking up its entire seat while her upper body rested against the arm. She was oriented in such a way that her lower body was on its side. She was watching A thirty-two inch tube TV that was set up on a small table and right beneath it was her DVD player. Just like he expected she was watching a movie but when she heard him approach she turned her form and glanced back at him.

Tally was a rather beautiful herm, her fur was a steel blue hue undercoat with the pattern of a snow leopard over it. Her huge, fluffy tail hung against the ground and gently swept from side to side every so often. She was a very fit and healthy individual, she didn't really have much of a choice due to her current lifestyle. Her upper body was adorned with a dark red hooded sweatshirt, though the hood was pulled down.

She had vibrant green eyes that she watched Dustin with as he approached, her face a mask of indifference. The dog grumbled to himself and frowned. Would it hurt her to smile sometime and give him a proper greeting? He thought bitterly to himself.

"Hey, Tally," he said and tried to put on a pleasant and friendly facade to mask his irritation about the whole situation.

"You're really slow, you know. I called you, like, an hour ago," she huffed and rested her chin on her palm, her elbow propped on the chaise's arm.

"I got here as fast as I cared to," he said through grit teeth as he came to stand right behind the chakat. "Why do you have to inconvenience me like this? I was having a good night until you decided to bother me," he grumbled. "I was gunna get laid! It's been like a whole month!"

Tally rolled her eyes. "I don't care what you do with your life, so stop telling me. A new shipment of dope has come in and we have customers waiting, so get to it," she said and pointed towards the table where a green brick wrapped in cellophane was set. Dustin looked at it for a moment and sighed.
