Chapter 5
Deep in the mountain far away from any civilization Pyro and Athena were arguing. "What is wrong with you Athena?" Pyro roared. Athena knew he was angry but didn't care. "You would have killed that human if I didn't stop you," she said with a hiss. "So?" Pyro replied. "So don't do it again hot head. We are after the furs not the humans." said another dragon walking into the cave. "Venus mined your own business," Pyro said. Before Pyro could react, Venus punched him in the face and knocked him through one of the cave walls. Pyro slowly stood back up. He started groan as the pain started to set in. "IF YOU EVER DISRESPECT ME OR ATHENA AGAIN I WILL KILL YOU!" She roared. Pyro snarled but he knew better than to challenge Venus. Venus was a taller than Athena was but shorter than Pyro and stronger than both of them were. She stood at 7ft 5in she had a 5ft wingspan and a tail that was five feet and eleven inches long with an arrowhead tip. She had sky blue scales and a white under belly And gold eyes. Athena and Venus are Pyro's sisters only by marriage. "Athena how long will we have to wait until the operation starts?" Venus asked. "We have to wait for big brother to bring the weapon from the home world. He should be here in three months. Until then we should explore this area. I find it to be very interesting." Athena said with a smile. "Fine you're free to do as you please just don't get into trouble." Venus said. With her sister's permission, Athena left the mountain to go explore the surrounding area. "You better be careful Athena. If something happened to you I would never forgive myself," Venus thought.
Meanwhile back at Kiyo's Sakura and Julie were catching up. Sakura told Julie everything happened after she went to collage and even told her about how their father sold her into slavery and how her owner had her fixed as punishment for refusing him. Julie was furious. She hated slavery and the fact that her own father would sell his own flesh and blood just to make a quick profit was sickening. "I cannot believe he did that to you just because you refused a male he liked!" Julie said with anger in her voice. The sibling went on talking for hours until it was time for Julie to go home. While Sakura walked Julie home, Kiyo put the new cloths on her bed as a surprise. He wondered why Julie quit being a doctor but decided that was her business not his and went to bed for the night. Sakura and Julie were walking for twenty minutes before the arrived at Julie's house. Sakura was shocked at how big the house was. "I used to be doctors remember." Julie said answering Sakura's question before she could even ask. Sakura was about to leave when Julie stopped her. Kiyo will be a perfect mate for you so do not wait too long to ask him all right. Again, Sakura was shocked. "Am I that obvious?" Sakura asked. Julie just nodded with a knowing smile on her face. "I am going to Eclipse next week for a little vacation and I think you two should come with me. That way you can settle your differences with father." Julie said. Sakura knew this would be the perfect chance to confront her parents. She also knew it would be a good chance for her to spend some time getting closer to Kiyo so she agreed. She knew when she saw her father again the reunion would be anything but pleasant. She knew her farther would not approve of her befriending a human but she did not care. Kiyo was the nicest male she ever met and wanted him to be her mate but she knew she had to find out if he felt the same way and this trip was the perfect way to do it. To be continued................
