"Thank you both for coming around," a buxom, middle aged rabbit said as Sonic the Hedgehog and Princess Sally Acorn were invited inside Vanilla's home.

The sad nod and drooping ears from her confirmed what they heard "Can we see her?" Sally asked, reaching out to clasp her hand gently in her own in comfort.

Nodding again she led the way into her hallway before letting them go upstairs, "I'll warn you, you may be in for a bit of a shock," she said quietly, her bearing of a mother on the verge of cracking up.

Approaching a pink painted door, they knocked on the wood and waited. When they got no answer they tried turning the handle and pushing the door open only to be met by resistance.

"That's it I'm busting this door down!" Sonic said, making ready to perform his trademark spin attack when Sally placed a gloved hand on his shoulder and shook her head.

"Let's try a more tactful approach, I know you have been bored but this is what we all wanted when we wanted peace Sonic. You'll get used to it," she said with a gentle kiss on his mouth and smiled. "Okay Sonic, we'll push on three. One. Two. Three!" she said, her and Sonic grunting as they pushed the door open and whatever was obstructing it aside.

What met them was chaos. The young rabbit's room which was normally pristine was now a tip. Food wrappers and dirty clothes laid about the place, the smell was of stale food and air. And sitting at her desk watching something very adult and graphical on her computer was Cream the Rabbit. A spoon in one hand she shovelled a tub of carrot flavoured ice cream mindlessly down her throat.

"Cream sweetie?" Sally said tentatively, only for the young rabbit to continue with her eating.

Really...we all could have done more for him, but things worked out. Shouldn't we all be happy she is now happy and got someone strong to support her?" Sally said in a soft, motherly tone to her as she took a large ear in hand and stroked gently between her fingers.

At that Cream pushed away from her and sat back at her desk in a sulk. "Why? I should support him after my future happiness is robbed from me?" She said, making to turn her computer back on before she was lifted up with a cry as Sonic grabbed her, kicking and squirming against him. "let me go, let me GO!" She screamed out as Sonic hastily ran down the stairs and then off into the distance with her screams attracting a few onlookers.

"My goodness," Vanilla gasped with her hand to her mouth as she saw them vanish into the distance.

Sally approached the older rabbit, placing her hand reassuringly on her shoulder, "It will be okay Vanilla, we have a plan to help bring her around and...make her buck up her ideas," she said with a small smile before running off and summoning her motorbike from a watch she wore to catch them up on. It wasn't as fast as her Sonic but it was the closest thing on wheels.

"Okay, alright, yeesh!" Sonic said in exasperation, dropping her on her tush and proceeded to rub the offended ear. "You know Cream, you've become a right brat over the years," he grumbled, crossing his arms and stared at her sideways.

"And you've become a lot less 'way cool' over the years, Mr Royal Hedgehog!" Cream said, sticking her tongue out.

"What? Well that's because...Why I oughta!" Sonic said, balling his fists up before Sally screeched to a halt at the lake they had stopped by.

"Sonic you're about ten years older than her, you should know better," Sally rebuked, lifting her helmet off and shaking her red mane of hair out before straightening it. "We didn't bring Cream here after all to fight with her, we brought her here to meet someone very close to us; someone we haven't seen from in a long while."

Still pouting, Sally smiled down at her and offered her hand to her, "Cream, sit down please," Sally said in a soft, but commanding voice as the young rabbit sighed, allowing her to be led onto a park bench.

As Sonic remained stubbornly standing, his foot tapping away he felt his wife's eyes burning into him before sighing, he sat beside her.

"Now Cream, I know it was all a little sudden dragging you away from your home like that. We understand things have been a little difficult for you to accept but"

"The one I crushed on for most my life suddenly turning into a girl and getting engaged to Espio? Oh no, totally fiii-umph!"

"Cream sweetie that is enough from you now let the adults talk," Sally said, smiling through clenched teeth as she held a hand on her mouth to silence any more snarky replies.

"As I was saying you have changed...for the worst as you have grown up, and this latest development has everyone worried about you. They may not be as close as we all once were, people move on, but you still have friends that care and worry so after a gathering we decided to summon someone who we hope can change you around."

"Humph, whoever it is I'm not interested. Tell them they can go and find someone else," Cream huffed, closing her eyes and turning her back on them with her arms folded.

"So I wasted my time coming over from my Sol dimension?" a deep, feminine voice said gently from behind her.

Whirling around, Cream's brown eyes flew wide as saucers as she saw who it was.

"Good to see you Cream, it has been a while hasn't it?" she said with a soft smile on her white lips.

Without thinking Cream threw herself at the cat princess, her arms wrapping around and her D-cup bust partly wrapping around her slender form.

"Cream calm down," Blaze said as she looked the rabbit all over, noticing with a small blush at how she had filled out before recomposing herself. "We managed to link the Chaos and Sol emeralds together, forming a dimensional bridge between our worlds but we had to keep it strictly hushed between the royal families. We didn't want word to get around for any other forces to abuse the use of them."

Looking at Blaze, Cream noticed she had changed little, but that just made the nostalgic feeling made all the more acute as she remembered their first encounter and how lost she seemed until she helped the dimensional princess.

"Did you have to keep it a secret from me, I'd missed you Blaze," Cream said softly, looking at the ground away from her.

"The war with Eggman Nega only ended a year ago, and we have being cleaning up and making sure things are secure. A princess can't allow her own desires to put her people at risk Cream," Blaze said in a slightly stern voice before smiling and putting her arms around the rabbit, taking her aback with such a friendly gesture from the usually stoic princess. "But I did miss you Cream...a lot. And to see you have grown into such a fine woman, even if you have had a lot to deal with."

Cream took a step back out of her arms and glared at Sonic and Sally. "What right do you two have to talk about my life?!" She cried out to them, balling her hands in anger. "What my problems are is mine and mine alone!"

"Cream...what happened to you?" Blaze said behind her coldly with her arms crossed, "you used to be such a nice girl. Your friends there were concerned and thought I'd be able to help you, both with your heartache and your personality. At this rate you will push all your friends away."

Cream just looked at the ground as tears welled in her eyes, "I just want Tails back, that is all I care about," she sniffed before a pair of laughing voices could be heard approaching behind them.

"Espio, is there anywhere you'd like to go on our Honeymoon?" a light, female voice sounded from behind.

"Anywhere is fine with you Melissa, but maybe a visit to Knuckles's floating Island might be good so we have some time to ourselves, watch Mobius from above after seeing some of the zones sights in peace?" a deep male voice answered.

A soft, female giggle followed his reply before the pair stopped, seeming to just realise they were not alone.

"Oh no, the timing couldn't have being worse," Sonic groaned with his head in his hand as a golden furred, twin tailed kitsune and a purple, yellow horned chameleon paused in their tracks.

As though suddenly made of wood, Cream slowly creaked her head around at the offending intruders to see the pair holding hands, Melissa dressed in a simple white dress with light blue gloves and light brown coloured boots on. "C-Cream!" Melissa stammered out as her brown eyes stared cold and lifeless into her own baby blue eyes. "It's been a while, how are...are you okay?" Melissa said, still clueless to how the young rabbit had felt for her.

"...I HATE YOU!" Cream screamed out, causing a few passing by to stare as she shoved her, fuelled by all her anger, into the stream before beating her huge ears as hard as possible to take off in flight.

"What the hell?!" Espio cried out in anger at the fleeing bunny before jumping in and helped Melissa up, her nipples poking through the soaked fabric and just about see through with the large breasts under the sodden garment. Blushing, Espio and Sonic looked to the side and whilst Sally held her head in her hands in quiet frustration. Poor Blaze could only stare on, totally lost with the situation.

Sonic glanced at Sally for help but she just gave him the, 'it was your idea' look. "'Sigh', okay to boil a long story down, Tails is no longer a guy. Meet my former bro, Melissa Prower," Sonic said, gesturing his hand in the kitsunes direction and still not looking as she dried off.

"What?!" Blaze exclaimed, her flame getting too close to Melissa's body for comfort.

A more detailed explanation later and Melissa had time to mostly dry out, along with Espio who did his best to shield her from onlookers. "So Tails turned into a girl by mistake, fell deeply in love with Espio and now Cream is having a crisis due to her unspoken love no longer being who she was," Blaze sumrised with her arms folded against her chest, eyes closed as she worked through the details. "I fail to see where I come into things though."

"Well Blaze...we had hoped you'd be able to talk some sense into Cream," Sally explained as they sat on a bench under a clear blue sky. "We even hoped you'd be able to take her mind off of things since the two of you had seemed close before..."

"So you tried setting us up on a blind date then?" Blaze said bluntly, glaring at the pair of them.

"Well...when you put it that way," Sonic said, before bouncing back, "but we were desperate and worried about her can't you see that? She has being moping for days now and her mum is at her wits end!"

"I guess this does explain why we haven't seen her in a while...I feel sorry for what's happened," Melissa said quietly with her tails in her hands before Epsio wrapped an arm around her.

"Don't be. She kept it to herself so she can't act like she ever had a claim over you," he said softly, his lips brushing her cheek, causing her to blush and snuggle into his strong chest.

"I'm going to go and try to talk some sense into her," Melissa said, straightening up, "maybe I can convince her to let go...that the Tails she knew is no more and"

"Save it, I'll find her. Besides I doubt you can do much flying with those endowments of yours now Tails, I mean Melissa," Blaze butted in as she stood up, a blush forming on Melissa's cheeks.

"Blaze?" Sonic said as he looked questioningly at her. "Okay, we'll split up and look for her together! If she is heading in the direction I think she is you'll need someone who knows their way around, and I have been around. Sal, you head back to the castle and I'll be home as soon as I can."

He was about to lead the way when he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Sonic...I'm sorry we messed your plan up," Melissa said softly as her eyes shimmered with tears. "Please find her, I know she hates me but I still think of her as a friend and would hate for something to happen to her over me."

"Heeeey don't worry buddy, you two didn't know and I know what new love can be like. Trust me it isn't so much la la land once the marriage is done with," Sonic joked as he returned the gesture before ducking a swat by his wife. "Gottago, bye!" He laughed as he sped off with Blaze in tow.

"He never changes does he?" Epsio sighed with a shake of his head.

"No," Sally replied though a smile ran her lips, "and that is why I love him."

"What would Cream be doing in a place like this?" Blaze asked as they sped along, jumping ditches and sunken areas.

"This is the aquatic ruins, luckily I have disabled all of the traps long ago but it is still pretty hard to find your way around. I showed this area to her when I recounted my adventures to her and she took a shine to it. Probably some romantic notion or other," Sonic explained as here and there laid ruins and scars of the fight through the zone ten years ago.

"She probably hopes to lose us here and be by herself...that is dangerous given her mindset," Blaze said out loud in thought; "she could do something rash."

A sudden twang sounded followed by a warning from Sonic as an arrow whizzed its way towards them from an overlooked trap before Blaze surrounded herself in a flaming aura, sizzling the ancient weapon. "You disabled them all huh?" Blaze said with a scowl at him, making the blue hedgehog look sheepishly off to the side.

"Okay, okay. So in my haste I may have overlooked one or two..." Sonic trailed off before they heard a scream. "CREAM!" They shouted together before speeding off, Blaze enveloped in her burning aura to match Sonic's speed.

Deciding to split up they searched the rough vicinity of where they heard her scream from. "Cream, oh you stupid rabbit where the hell are you?!" Blaze cried out in frustration before skidding to a collapsed cliff, a pair of white gloved hands grasping the edge.

"Wh-who's there? Please help me I don't want to die!" Cream's frightened voice came from below, too close to the cliff to fly and, as Blaze looked over, a short drop into the waters below and spikes that had stubbornly refused to budge.

Wasting no more time blaze yanked her up and cradled her to her nearly flat chest like one would a frightened kitten. "Shh Cream, everything is okay," Blaze said in a tender tone, completely unlike her usual self.

Her brown eyes flew open at her voice, "B-Blaze?" Cream whimpered, the eyes liquid like, bright with tears, quivering in their sockets. She opened and closed her mouth a few times like a fish trying to breathe. The poor thing couldn't find her voice. Part terror and part awe had robbed her of the ability to speak. She had never before seen Blaze like this. She seemed so...heroic and a caring was there that never had being before.

Blaze was put in mind of more of a child as she held her to her body. Cream looked to nearly be fully developed and she had to admit the girl had a nice body beneath the grimy clothes and dust from the ruins. But she seemed more like a lost and frightened child before she burst into bawling tears. "Blaaaze I was so scared!" she cried out into her chest, clutching tightly as the cat took a few staggering steps back away from the cliff in case any more crumbled under them. "I-I thought I was going to...to die!" she continued to sob into her.

"Uhhh..." Blaze stammered, unsure what to do before she closed her yellow eyes, her flicking tail stilling as she regained her composure and stroked a gloved hand over her brow, soothing her. "Cream...what are we to do with you," she said in a breathy sigh, feeling her clutch tight around her neck, feeling those large breasts squish into her, causing her own heartbeat to speed up in tempo.

Even after you pushed Tails...I mean Melissa into the lake she said she still considers you a friend. Including me Cream," Blaze said in a soft, deep caring tone as she cradled her until all that could be heard was their heartbeats and the gentle lapping of the water against the ruins.

Sonic looked up the cliff, seeing the pair safe as they stared widely into each other. "This could actually work," Sonic muttered to himself before taking off to leave them to themselves.

"I think someone has being playing matchmaker with us," Blaze said softly, making to put Cream down but finding to her surprise the young rabbit tightened her grip around her neck.

"Blaze...do you have a boyfriend in your dimension?" Cream whispered, her chest rising and falling as she breathed heavily, causing her chest to shake slightly.

"N-no, I don't," Blaze stammered. Damn it why was her heart beating so hard seeing Cream like this? She looked so exposed and vulnerable and yet so alluring. As Blaze took off at a speed she could maintain safely whilst carrying Cream, the rabbit sighed happily, leaning into her chest. She felt so strong and sure, in a way Blaze reminded her a little of Sally. She finally understood the lifes lesson Amy learned; the difference between chasing a dream and being with someone who will want you.

"Blaze?" Cream said as they pulled up outside of the house her and her mother lived in, "you can put me down now. As comfy as I am against you my feet are starting to go numb," she said with a wriggle of her feet.

Cream raised her hand to open the door before she froze in mid-reach as it was flung open and her mother wrapped her arms around her in a mother's embrace. "Cream, oh thank Chaos you are safe! Sonic came by and told me what happened. You silly thing you had me so worried!" She sobbed into her.

"M-mum..." Cream said uncomfortably with her hand seemingly frozen in its outstretched position.

Vanilla paused in her smothering, just realising Blaze was with her. "Um hi Miss Vanilla, being a long, oof!" she gasped out as Vanilla pulled her into a smothering hug against her well endowed chest as well.

Vanilla froze for a second, her body going stiff at her daughter's words. "Girlfriend...?" she said slowly before Blaze freed herself from between her chest.

Blaze shifted uncomfortably before Cream grasped her hand, the young rabbit's touch reassuring. "I know it is of the same gender and there is a good age gap...but it seems our time apart has led to unexpected feelings developing," Blaze said, fumbling for words as her tail twitched before squeezing Cream's hand back, drawing strength from her.

"So you two are in an actual relationship?" Vanilla said quietly, turning to look at the pair with an unreadable expression.

As she stepped towards them, Blaze swallowed but simply said, "Yes."

She winced as her hands clamped down on her thin shoulders but was surprised as she was pulled into a grateful hug and whispered into her purple furred ear, "Please make her happy, it is all I wish for my daughter. I don't care what form it takes as long as she is happy," she said before pulling away, her face showing nothing but her blessing.

"Mum, are you okay?" Cream said, letting go of Blaze to approach her mum before she waved and sniffed, wiping her eyes with the back of her hand.

"I'm just so happy, though you should go and change Cream, you're clothes are a mess," Vanilla smiled and hugged her daughter. "And should you decide to go and live with Blaze in her dimension, you have my blessing to marry should such a thing be permitted."

"M-mum!" Cream gasped out, blushing furiously before dragging Blaze inside, leaving her mother giggling softly.

Once they got in Cream's bedroom they both stood around, looking at the mess before Blaze gagged and threw open a window to vent the stale air. "Cream, what the hell? Did something die in here?" she gasped out before picking all the rubbish she could up and bagging it.

"Sorry, I guess I did get pretty stupid huh?" Cream said quietly, remembering the days as though it had been a bad dream she had.

Blaze paused before giving a reassuring smile, "Don't worry about it Cream, love can do odd things to people," she said before resuming cleaning up.

When she was done she took the rubbish out and recused herself to wash her hands before walking back into her bedroom.

As Blaze entered the bedroom she worked over in her mind how she felt about Cream. Was this wrong? Was this desperation? But what she saw next chased all doubt from her mind. "Cream..." Blaze said in a soft tone, her deep voice making her sound husky as she beheld the nude rabbit.
