a tale of dragons part 14
#14 of A tale of dragons
Both questions have finally been answered. (Finally.)
Next question, to name one each of a male and female dragonet for THIS series, 'who is Miralage's mother?'
I'm currently rewriting 'to charm a dragon'. But I'm not going to put it up until I get more votes and comments on the compilation. I have almost 50 people 'watching' me, and I've only had about a few votes on the compilation. So start voting and commenting if you want to see the rewrite. I want to know what you lot think of the series and what you want changed, suggestions for improvement, and that sort of thing. I can't make it better if you don't tell me what you'd like to see.
I'm giving you lot a heads-up. This story will soon have completely non-anthro gryphon-on-gryphon, human-on-gryphon, and raptor-on-lycanthrope yiff. I've had someone complain about there not being enough non-anthro gryphon yiff, so rest assured that I will try to correct that little problem.
Oh, Miralage will end up having Brian's children at some point in the future, but that didn't count for the question I asked.
And sorry, but there is going to be more ninja's, but they're there for a reason. I don't know if the daggertail is an actual weapon. But I'll get a screenshot of the game I got it off, just to show you lot what it looks like. The ninja's are part of an integral piece of the plot.
Oh, the 'special integration' spell is not special as in, 'special offer', its special, as in 'being of or belonging to a species.' (Don't even know if it's a real word.)
BTW How many people have fallen in love with Kylara?
A tale of dragon's part 14
"What is this about?" Brian asked, staring up at the imposing yellow dragon above him.
"About what you did to me. I want to talk to you away from her." She said, pointing a claw towards Miralage.
"About what?" Brian asked, confused, she couldn't mean...
"I think you know what I'm talking about." She replied.
I can tell when I'm not wanted. Miralage stated huffily, walking off through the tents, her tail held high in her annoyance. Brian was momentarily afraid that there would be more of the hellhounds around, but there was now a great amount of people about, either inspecting the halves of dog, or sharpening their weapons, getting ready in case there should be more.
"Okay, what?" Brian asked wearily, leaning against a tent support.
The dragon didn't waste any time and just blurted it out. "I'm pregnant."
Brian cocked an eyebrow, and just stared at her for a second, and then said, "So?..."
"It's yours!" She hissed venomously, lowering her head and turning it to the side so that she was on his level, parting her lips slightly to show dangerously glinting teeth.
"It can't be. If you hadn't noticed, I'm human. And how could you tell if you're pregnant?" Brian asked.
"I can tell I'm pregnant by a very simple spell. And it was you. I know because you're the only one I've slept with in nearly a month." She hissed in reply
"I'm human, you're a dragon. Impossible to get you pregnant." Brian said, as if telling a one-year-old that one plus one equals two.
"You must have had the special integration spell cast on you at some point." She said, staring at him as if she would like nothing better than to step on him.
"I don't even know what that is." Brian stated.
"So. You don't have to know a spell to have to cast on you." This time it was the dragon that was speaking as if addressing a child.
"I just thought that you'd like to know that if you end up fucking your little friend over there, then she will get pregnant." The dragon said malevolently, gesturing with a claw to where Miralage stood, her back turned, her tail still lifted with annoyance, her entire body stock-still. Brian could tell that she was listening to every word that was being said.
"Well, thanks for the information. What are you going to do with the eggs?" Brian asked.
"I'm not having them obviously." She hissed at him, before leaping into the air and powering away from the camp with her huge wings.
Miralage walked over to him, staring up at the yellow dragon, before looking up at him, cocking her head to the side cutely, and asking innocently, what is fucking?

Debri and Kershahk were once against walking prowling through the tents, on orders from their new commanding officer. He was a big man, with a huge, nearly metre-and-a-half long sword.
Their first assignment was to walk around the camp, and do some surveillance on a certain person picked at random from a crowd.
All they had to do was follow him, report his movements, what he had done that day, and then they would be given a real assignment.
Debri glanced at Kershahk out of the corner of her eye. Their eyes met, and they exchanged a barely perceptible nod, before both of them leapt backwards, turning in the air and crash tackling a robed figure, knocking him to his back.
"Okay, okay!" The figure said, almost laughingly, pulling back his hood, revealing that he was their commanding officer.
Debri and Kershahk both reeled back in shock, picking him up and sitting him back on his feet, apologising profusely.
"No need to be sorry." He said, "You both passed. You're ready for your first assign--" he didn't finish, because at that moment there was a strangled cry from nearby, of a man in pain, just as they all felt something was very wrong.

Brian was walking back to his room, standing at Miralage's door after leading her back there, when he first felt that something was wrong.
Miralage stared at him with a scared look, her wings folded tightly to her sides, before she raced to her bed and leapt under the covers.
Brian was about to tell her to stay put, but she didn't look like she was going anywhere any time soon.
He drew his sword and raced of towards the main camp, where he could feel that something bad was going down.

Matimura and Kylara both looked up at the same time, a strange sense of alarm going through them as they lay together in the treasure room.
Matimura immediately leapt up, trying to draw a sword he didn't have.
"Use mine." Kylara said, flicking her paw so that the ornate sword she was almost lying on was sent spiralling into his hand. "Come back in one piece." She commanded, as if daring him not to.
"I will." He said, giving her a quick kiss before sprinting towards the camp.

Debri and Kershahk, closely followed by the slower human, ran towards the sound, getting there in time to see a black shape disappear around a corner, leaving a soldier lying on the ground, blood spilling from a lacerated throat.
The raptor and lycanthrope ran after the figure while the human knelt by the body, inspecting it closely.
He could see that the wound was made by a daggertail, a very dangerous weapon made of interconnecting blades. It could be used as a deadly whip, a stabbing weapon, or it could be used to strangle someone, but it usually took off someone's head before they ran out of air.
The human leapt up to try and warn the two creatures of the deadliness of their enemy.

Brian leapt up onto the canvass of a tent, almost falling through it, bounding off it and landing on splayed feet in front of his first enemy, sword held at the ready.
It was yet another ninja, although this one was slightly different from most of the ones he had seen.
This one was wearing a hard mask depicting a leering demon, with spikes sticking out of it everywhere. A long purple cape fluttered around the ninja's feet, partly covering shoulder armour that featured several very sharp spikes sticking up out of it, which would be very undesirable anywhere near any part of a persons anatomy. The final touches were the shin guards with more spikes sticking up out of the knee, creating another deadly weapon, and the three, long, wickedly curved blades on each fist, which protruded from a pair of half-gauntlets. A long chain, it length made of blades so it seemed to be no more than a liquid blade in and of itself, clinked gently around the figured feet.
The figure raised it arm, spinning the long, deadly blade, grabbing it close to the end with expert movements, somehow not cutting himself, and then kicking the end of it, letting go of the chain, sending the blade at Brian's head with amazing speed.
Brian leant backwards, the tail of the whip passing within millimetres of his head, the body of the whip undulating behind it, cutting the arm of his shirt open easily as it passed.
Brian flicked his sword to the side, deflecting the path of the whip.
The figure whirled the daggertail over its head, bringing it down to try and cut Brian across the face.
Brian dodged to the side, reversing his sword, spinning and trying to stab the ninja through the stomach.
The ninja sidestepped, whirling the daggertail, wrapping it around Brian's sword, and yanking hard, pulling the weapon from his fingers.
Brian spun on the spot, lashing out with his foot as he released his weapon. His right foot caught the ninja full in the face with a powerful hit, closely followed by a left to the throat.
Brian reached forwards, drawing two daggers from inside the ninja's cape, which were hidden up till that point, and spun to the right, slashing with the left dagger, finishing the spin with a backhanded right stab which caught the ninja through the stomach. Brian pulled the blade free, kneeling and slamming both blades over his shoulders, catching the ninja in the shoulder with each blade, scything down through the fleshy part of the shoulder next to the ninja's neck.
Brian leapt backwards, back flipping over the ninja's head, yanking the knives free, landing on his feet behind the now dead ninja, and leaping backwards again, knives flashing, catching another ninja across the throat as he came around the corner of a tent, sword held at the ready.
Both of the ninja fell, the gashes to their bodies spilling blood across the ground.
Brian turned and ran off towards the sounds of battle.
He came across his next enemy, a ninja, with a sword held high above him, ready to bring it down on a man who was holding an unwieldy broadsword.
Brian stepped in, wrapping the knives around the ninja's wrist, yanking them both downwards, cutting the ninja's hand off completely.
The severed hand fell to the ground, still clutching the hilt of the sword.
Brian threw the knife in his right hand, hitting another ninja in the chest, lifting him completely off the ground and slamming him onto his back, the knife embedded in the centre of his chest.
Brian then leapt backwards; doing a long, slow back flip.
The ninja who was behind him stumbled forwards on momentum, realising too late that his target had disappeared, which was when Brian slammed the knife into the back of his head, dropping him instantly.
Brian dragged the man to his feet, wrenching the broadsword from his grip and handing him a ninja sword.
Brian then picked up two swords, and a daggertail, before sprinting off in search of more enemies.

Matimura drew the ornate sword, wondering if it would hold up in battle. It looked to be purely ornamental, but the edge gleamed with sharpness, so he decided that he would just deal with it if it snapped.
He ran around the side of a tent, towards the sound of something in pain, and saw several opponents standing in a circle around an adolescent gryphon, torturing it with their daggertail's, using them as ropes, so that every time the poor little thing struggled, the daggertail's cut into its flesh.
Matimura felt an anger rising in him like nothing he had ever felt before. Kylara's talisman was burning against his chest as he raised the sword, a sudden rush of flames sprouting from the metal and searing down the blade until the whole sword was alight.
Matimura leapt forwards, his form blurring as he went, moving at an insane speed.
He stepped over the gryphon, spinning through the air, his burning sword flashing, leaving several circular arcs of flame in its wake.
The ninja, who had had their hands stretched inwards towards the gryphon, suddenly saw their wrists dissected by a line of fire, and then smelt the horrible smell of burning flesh as their hands fell straight off, revealing the perfectly cauterised flesh beneath.
The ninja all turned tail and ran, their hands left behind, holding the charred stumps of where their hands were not moments before.
The gryphon, still entangled in the deadly whip-like weapon, struggled over to Matimura as he fell to one knee.
Matimura reached out, and began the horrible process of disentangling the gryphon from the daggertail's.
He removed the amulet from around his neck, somehow knowing what to do.
He reached forwards with a shaking hand, and pressed the amulet against the gryphon's forehead. The amulet glowed, and the daggertail's did to, slithering to the ground like snakes where they lay, as inanimate as they should be, while the wounds on the little gryphon closed of their own accord.
Matimura's eyes blurred, and he shook his head to try and clear it. His eyes closed as he lost consciousness.
