Word had reached Earth about the up rise of the Ascensionists on Dra'Shan. Aaron and Ryan's parents were more than worried to discover this news. One of the communication towers had been badly damaged in battle and there was no way to get in touch with their sons to ensure their safety. Ryan's father, being a highly regarded political figure, could not risk the bad publicity of having a son killed on a foreign planet. Desperate times called for desperate measures. They would send Ryan's younger brother, Collier, to ensure that the two friends were safe and to bring Ryan back home to Earth with him safely. To send another son up to a war-ravaged planet was risky business, but Collier was not told of the risk. Instead, he was told that there was family business that needed to be attended to and that Ryan had to be taken back to Earth with him as soon as possible.

Collier was just as tall as his brother, though he was a full two years younger. He had finally caught up to him in the height department and was finally starting to become a hit with the ladies at his high school. He was handsome and charming, much like his sibling, albeit more boyish in appearance. His senior year was about to begin and he was looking forward to it. He was excited to be heading towards the great planet that Aaron and Ryan had told him so much about in the months prior to them being there.

Security officials had imposed a curfew across the entire city as the last pockets of Ascensionist resistance were rooted out. But Kas was never one to listen to the authorities. Instead, he walked on the silent streets, enjoying the temporary isolation. Nirvana was always fun and the emerald Dra'Shoth enjoyed the company of so many beautiful Dra'Shoth, but sometimes, it was better to be alone with one's thoughts.

And those thoughts soon drifted to exploring how odd it was that a shuttle was landing at the nearby spaceport. Surely, the government had imposed a temporary ban on travel to and from the planet. Kas assumed it was some friend or contributor to a powerful Dra'Shoth arbiter who was pulling strings to ignore the ban. That was before he saw that the lone passenger was a human. 'Well, they're shipping them in by the boat-load these days,' thought the Dra'Shoth sardonically. Even from this distance, something about the young man seemed familiar. His natural curiosity demanded that he get a closer look. That, and other motives.

Kas noticed gleefully that due to the uproar, the customary greeting party was nowhere in sight. He watched bemused as the human looked around in vain for some sort of guidance. The green Dra'Shoth worked his way around to the shadows of some nearby pillars and spied on the boy, content to watch for now and see how the human reacted to being left all alone on a strange alien world.

Collier was unsure of where to go, or even where he was as he stepped foot onto the planet for the first time. There was a faint chill in the air, but for the most part, all he felt was the intense heat of Dra'Shan's naturally high temperatures beating upon his fully clothed body. His jeans stuck to him, making him even more uncomfortable as he looked around for a sign of life. Worry struck his face as it seemed that most of the lights were dimmed or completely of and there was no business remaining open, as far as he could see. Perhaps it was the late hour, he thought, but was puzzled at the lack of inhabitants walking the street.

"Well this is just fucking perfect" the human sighed as he sat his duffel bag down on the ground next to him as he stood and pondered on what he could possibly do next.

Kas allowed himself some sadistic pleasure at the young alien's predicament. But looking never satisfied him for long. With a devious smile, he walked from the shadows. Using his most shrill and commanding voice, he called out to the new arrival.

"You there! Human," he shouted. "What the hell are you doing?! Have you been through processing yet? This is a restricted area. You can't just loiter here."

He tried hard not to smile as he came to a halt a mere meter away from the youth. At this close a range, Kas definitely detected something familiar about the human, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. "Your name human. Now. Then you are going straight to processing."

The sound of another voice startled the young human, causing him to jump back slightly. He was greeted by a tall, green and, as far as Collier could tell, nude Dra'Shoth. He did his best not to stare too long at the, to him, new species and tried to answer as best as he could.

"Collier Owens", he replied, his voice somewhat shaky, "I don't really know where or what I'm supposed to be going to right now, but my family sent me here to come get my brother Ryan and take him back to Earth".

Kas nearly broke character at the mention of Ryan's name. So that was why the human looked so familiar. He was blessed with his brother's charming good looks. Fortunately, he kept his composure. "Very well Mr. Owens. We will proceed straight to the processing. I'm going to need you strip down fully."

He lifted his right arm and it morphed into a bizarre spiky appendage. "Once you're nude, I need you to bend over and grab your ankles. We need to probe you to make sure you aren't carrying any contraband or disease." Try as he might, the emerald Dra'Shoth could not stop his mouth from curling into the slightest of slight grins.

Perhaps it was his young and slightly naive nature, but Collier had no reason to believe that the Dra'Shoth before him wasn't telling the truth. Therefore, he did as told and removed all clothing save for his underwear.

"Um... did you say probe?" the nearly nude human questioned as he watched the shape-shifter change forms before his very eyes. It was awe-inspiring, yet slightly terrifying.

Kas stood there dumbstruck for the briefest moment. The human was actually falling for it. "Yes human, I said probe. I also said to get completely nude."

The Dra'Shoth stepped forward and waved the terrifying visage of his arm in front of the boy's eyes. "I apologize for the inconvenience Mr. Owens. But humans tend to get nervous. Apparently your rectums are not accustomed to such objects being inserted into them. It may be somewhat uncomfortable. Now bend over so we can get this started," Kas commanded, increasingly unable to hide his smile.

Collier took a deep breath and let his underwear drop to be around his ankles. With a look of terror and utter horror in his eyes, he turned around and bowed forward, revealing his ass to the alien stranger. He prayed that the process would be quick.

"I promise I'm not hiding anything up inside there... honestly" he said, his voice quivering as a breeze hit his nude form, "I can't believe this is happening..." he muttered softly, somewhat under his breath.

It was too much. Kas burst out laughing. "Spirits, are all you humans so gullible," he teased between fits of laughter. He could barely catch his breath enough to continue. "You just bend over and take it because some guy comes up and tells you to?! Priceless."

Kas would be lying to himself if he said he hadn't thought about probing the boy like he said he would, but it wouldn't be the first time the Dra'Shoth had lied to himself. He was full of contradictions, half-truths, and outright lies. But right now, he was Kas and he was going to have his fun.

"Stand up Collier. You're lucky I showed up. You look quite lost. My name is Kas," he said with a flourishing bow. "Allow me to be your guide. I'll keep you from being probed by any other curious strangers," he promised with a wide, playful smile.

Collier's face was flushed with sheer embarrassment as the green alien revealed his prank to the human. He immediately pulled his underwear back up, the shame of his gullible display written in his eyes. He kept the rest of his clothes off, the heat being too overbearing to attempt putting more layers on.

"That was a rotten joke" he said, not knowing if he should laugh or cry, "but I guess I don't have any other options... nice to meet you dude" he said, holding out a friendly hand for Kas to shake.

The Dra'Shoth's hand reverted to its normal form and took the human's own in a gesture of goodwill. "First lesson, you might as well as lose the underwear. It's just too damn hot on this planet. And besides, as you can see, none of the locals bother with it," he said, gesturing down to his own flaccid member. Anything that made the human look at his cock was okay in Kas' book.

"So you say you're searching for your brother, eh? As luck would have it, I've met Ryan. I can take you to him if you'd like," he lied. Sometimes, it even scared Kas how good he was at deception.

Collier walked alongside the tall alien, noticing his own shoulders came to be in line with the space below Kas' nipples and above his abs. Colorful markings covered the Dra'Shoth's body, catching the human's eye as they gleamed in the dim light of the night sky.

"Well..." he started, "I'm a pretty good athlete, not as good as Ryan but that's just because it's what he lives for. Me, I could takie it or leave it." He was being fairly honest. Collier preferred a good book over coffee to a game of tennis, but athletics was certainly in his blood.

"I just turned 17 last month and I'm about to start my senior year of high school," he continued, "I'm not sure where I want to go to college... What else do you want to know?" he questioned, unsure of what to add.

He had to keep focused on his surroundings to ensure that no security forces detained them for questioning. They were almost to Nirvana and the Dra'Shoth would be damned if his prize was taken from him now. "I'm sure the right person will show up when you least expect it," consoled the Dra'Shoth. This time, he was completely honest.

Before long, the strange duo found themselves at the doors of Nirvana. Sadly, no pounding music echoed from within. The scent of lust and heated dancing was a memory. Nirvana had been devastatingly empty since the attack, partly due to the curfew, but mostly because even the erotic Dra'Shoth found they were not in the mood for such frivolity so soon after the attack.

A few strays stood or sat in the dimly-lit corners, sipping on a variety of drinks. But the dance floor and stage were empty. "Hmmm," thought Kas aloud. "Ryan said he would be here. Why don't you have a seat at the bar. I'll mix you something nice to sip on while we wait."

Collier was a bit surprised when they came to stop at a mostly empty club. Even more surprising was that his brother was nowhere to be seen. However, Kas seemed to be a trustworthy fellow and he was happy enough to take a seat at the bar.

"When did you last talk to Ryan exactly?" he questioned.

Kas quickly busied himself behind the bar by mixing a variety of alcohols into a crystal glass. The vial caught the light brilliantly and transformed the clear liquids within into a veritable rainbow of color. The Dra'Shoth resisted the urge to drug the drink; it would have made his life easier, but so much of the fun came from the slow, delicious seduction. That was what Kas lived for; the feel of bodies and minds succumbing, the look of resistance in the eyes gradually melting away to be replaced by submission and desire. In many ways, Kas was far more sensual and lustful than Lin. He simply had the good sense to hide it better.

Kas' quick mind pondered the question to determine how best to lie to the boy. "Well, he was here just an hour or so ago. I was going for a walk to get some fresh air when I came across you. I expected him to be here. It's one of the few safe places for your kind right now," Kas said as he presented Collier with the potent drink.

"I assume word has reached your world about the attack here? It was pretty bad, worse than anything those bastards have managed before. Thankfully, Ryan and his friend Aaron managed to escape. You know Aaron, right," asked Kas, eager to play the role of the amicable confidant. If he could get the young man's trust, his body and mind would not be far behind. That was another lesson Kas had learned behind this bar over the years. He quietly thanked the spirits for his job.

"Yeah, Aaron and Ryan have been friends since I was born" Collier replied as he took the drink from Kas. He held the colorful glass up to the light, watching the mixture reflect it and glow.

"We have only heard that the attacks had happened but not too much outside of that", Collier continued, "Some kind of political uprising gone awry or something?". He took a quick sip of the drink. It was fruity with a pinch of spice. He took another sip, a bigger one this time. It was cold and yet made his body feel a bit warmer.

"What is this, anyway?" he asked.

"Yeah, the people behind it have been a thorn in our side for years. They've never been this bold before though," responded Kas as he leaned casually against the bar.

"Oh that." he asked, gesturing toward the drink. "It's nothing special. Just my own little recipe. I haven't even thought of a name for it yet. Tell you what," Kas said with a smile, "you think up a name. If I like it, I'll give you the grand tour of the club. At least, it'll give us something to do while we wait for your brother to show."

Collier chuckled, "Okay... I've never had to name a drink before, so...." he trailed off as he held up the drink to the light once more to see the colors shine again. He took another sip, even bigger and bolder than the last two. He felt the liquid coating his mouth and easing down his throat, leaving a little spice behind on his tongue.

"How about moonbeam?" he asked, throwing out the first name that came to mind.

Kas liked the name and told the human as much. What he failed to tell him was that he would have liked just about any name. The tour was, after all, more a prize for Kas than Collier. "Well, I do believe I owe you a tour. But first, care if sate my thirst a little," he asked pointing toward the glistening liquid in the teen's hand.

When Collier handed it over, Kas let his tongue do the heavy lifting. It dropped out, thrice as long as normal and beginning swirling around the glass. Like a snake's tongue, it receded back into his lips. With cocksure smile, Kas sighed. "Quite refreshing."

Collier looked upon Kas' long tongue as it wormed its way out of the Dra'Shoth's mouth and lapped up his drink in both shock and wonder. His jaw dropped to see such an amusing and yet seemingly impossible sight. As Kas handed him back the mixture, Collier was nearly speechless.

"Well, I'm not too sure if I want the rest now..." he said, "but that was pretty cool". He thought of Kas' shape-shifting earlier.

"Is that something that all of you can do around here?" he asked, still sitting at the bar awaiting Kas' signal to stand for them to take the tour.

Kas signaled for the boy to stand and meet him on the other side of the bar. "All Dra'Shoth can to one degree or another. Some are more skilled than others. We all have our strengths and weaknesses, much like your own kind," explained the emerald bartender as he came to stand beside Collier. "We have other abilities too," teased Kas. "Maybe if you're good during the tour, I'll show them to you."

Kas sent his arm out in a dramatic arc and said, "behold the main floor of Nirvana. Dancing and plenty else has gone on here. Not so impressive now, I'll admit. But you should come see it some other time. It is quite the experience. You've already seen the bar. How are you feeling by the way? I'm told that our drinks are quite a bit more potent than those on Earth. You drank quite a bit of moonbeam just now," pointed out Kas, doing his best to feign concern.

Collier stood to meet up with Kas. His body felt a bit lighter than usual, but his head also felt a little heavier. However, he found his bearings and was able to walk without too much of a problem. He nodded in understanding as Kas began to explain the ways of the Dra'Shoth to him in further detail. He smiled broadly as Kas began to extend his arm out towards the dance floor, clearly amused by the bartender's shape-shifting abilities.

"I definitely feel a buzz" he answered, "more than I expected from just a few sips".

"Hence, why I said our drinks are stronger," teased the Dra'Shoth. "But as long as you can walk up some stairs, I think we'll be fine." Kas led Collier through the depressingly empty dance floor toward the back of the club. Three sets of spiraling staircases wound their way up to the balconies of the upper level. Kas led the human up the center one and through a circular door along the back wall.

The room was fully round except for the floor. A domed ceiling was illuminated to look like it was beneath the sea. Strange and magnificent virtual facsimiles of Dra'Shan fauna floated serenely by overhead. The single light source was a glowing orb of light that hung high in the center of the dome. Plush cushions lined the wall and most magnificent of all, a lush waterfall stood on one side of the room, cascading heated water down into a bubbling pool. Kas had always wondered why Lin had chosen to take Ryan into the dull, anti-gravity room all that time ago, when there was such a romantic room so nearby. Oh well, this wasn't about Lin and Ryan. This was about he and Collier.

"What do you think," he asked, turning to his guest. "Pretty impressive, no?"

Impressive was too easy a word, but Collier was certainly impressed by the beauty of the club's decor and layout. He was sure it was marvelous whenever the club was full to capacity with dancers and the like. He marveled at the luxury of the tucked away room.

"Is this a VIP area?" he inquired, noting that it seemed to be able to hold a few.

Collier had to admit that a dip in the pool looked tempting. The water looked more than refreshing, especially after being in the night time heat of the foreign planet. He didn't need any more convincing. He strolled over to the steps of the pool and dipped a toe in. Not too hot and not too cold. It felt perfect. Still in his underwear, he strode into the water onto the first step, the liquid coming up to his ankles.

"Aw, it feels great!" he exclaimed as he walked in further until the water was up to his waist.

The powerful muscle positioned itself near the center of the pool and quickly began spinning about. A small whirlpool grew around it, gradually growing larger and larger as the spinning grew faster. Soon, Collier began to be dragged by the force of the tidal patterbs. Before long, he was flying around the edges of the pool at an impressive rate of speed as Kas laughed in glee above him.

The young human watched with a curious gaze as Kas began to use his tongue to swirl the water in the pool. At first, Collier assumed that the bartender might only be tasting the scented liquid, but the Dra'Shoth's motives became clear when he found himself being dragged into the strong current of a whirlpool. He spun around uncontrollably, the motion causing everything around him to blur.

"Hey, stop!" he yelled out, "That's not funny!". He couldn't help but laugh himself, admitting that Kas' prank was a good one.

"Stop this thing" he demanded, still laughing as he spun around another couple of laps.

"Little Collier doesn't like it when his bath spins," chuckled Kas playfully. "Okay, I'm not cruel," he conceded as he stopped spinning the water. As he stepped into the tumult, it suddenly grew calmer and the human slowly came to a stop. "Oh, there was one more thing," muttered Kas absent-mindedly as he reclined into the depths of the soothing water.

Without warning, he sent a wave of water cascading toward the teen. The water crashed over the boy's head, soaking his hair and causing it to cling to his forehead. Kas decided that was a very appealing look on the human. The Dra'Shoth laughed at his second prank. Admittedly, it took much less skill than the first, but sometimes, it was the simple things that made life worth living. "Whoops," said Kas simply.

Collier felt the warm waters rushing towards him as the wave came crashing down over his head. He fell backwards but soon steadied himself, shaking his head to get the water out of his nose and ears. He was still laughing alone with Kas, and Collier was discovering that the Dra'Shoth possessed a very playful nature.

"Hey!" he exclaimed, "I thought you said it was going to be relaxing". He sent his own meager splash back at the bartender, wetting his face slightly.

"Whoops..." he said with a laugh.

Kas was expecting the boy to retaliate and was glad when he did. "Why, Collier, I think you did that on purpose," mused the Dra'Shoth. "You know what that means..."

Kas' foot slowly made its way toward the boy's ankle. With his leg stretching far beyond its normal length, he was able to wrap the appendage around the teen's lower leg. Suddenly but gently, Kas hoisted the boy out of the water and hung him upside down over the center of the pool. It was simply too much to resist. Kas' fingers extended and lengthened considerably. The fingertips bristled with brush-like feelers, patently designed to do just what Collier was begging not to happen.

He hadn't assumed that this is what the Dra'Shoth had in mind when he said dancing, yet all the pieces seemed to go together and make sense in his head, the more he thought about it. He sat and watched, a little uncomfortably, especially after what he'd gone through with Kas. However, Nel seemed very skilled and Collier decided to appreciate it as a sort of tribal recital that he was observing, as opposed to a show that might be called striptease on his home planet.
