Meal; Interrupted

Desmond swished his torch from one side to the other, careful to not singe the ferns and bushes that lined the path. He was getting close to his destination and knew he would be approaching a danger zone soon enough but he still had to push forth without hesitation or his opportunity may have gotten lost. The enchanted gem of Ilorek was somewhere in these old ruins and once he found it he would be rich beyond his wildest dreams.

However, he couldn't allow his mind to get ahead of himself. The jungle was a dangerous place, especially in Klyneth where creatures were ravenous and insatiable. If he wasn't careful, he'd end up as food for some carnivorous plant or giant snake. That was why he was so careful as he took each step, gingerly touching at the ground before him with his toes before resting his weight on his paw.

All he could hear was the steady drone of insects and the occasional squawk of the local avian species, a symphonic blend of chirps and squeaks and screeches and buzzes that never let up. He could use this to his advantage, as any interruption or disruption of the steady drone of the insects around him would indicate that another threat was somewhere close. If the bugs stopped buzzing or weakened in their volume, he knew he had to prepare himself for conflict.

With that in mind, he was able to better push forward. Once he knew that there were clear and obvious signs that would warn him of an impending predator. In the jungle, Desmond was not the king. In fact, he was quite low on the totem pole and could easily become a victim to nearly any creature that set foot in his vicinity such as big cats, tropical bears, feral dragons, or even snakes! Serpents were bigger here than any other region, and were known to be quite ravenous.

Desmond would have made a perfect sized meal for a hungry snake. What made him even more susceptible to snake attacks was that snakes were known to be ambush predators, so all those warnings he was relying on coming from the silencing of the bugs and birds wouldn't apply. He'd need to be extra careful to avoid the snakes, which was why he was waving his torch around near the ground. Any serpents that were big enough to catch, constrict, and consume him would be ground dwellers, and the thick canopy of the jungle ensured that everything was dark near the soil.

Furthermore, he had heard that the region was protected by a serpent goddess that went by the name of Agorean and that she wouldn't much care for the idea of Desmond stealing the enchanted gem.

"You've got this, Des." He said to himself as he crouched under a thick, moss-covered vine. He knew he was getting close, but felt the need to double check once more. When he was sure he couldn't have checked any more thoroughly, he stood tall and made his way through the underbrush until he got to the first sign of the ruins.

It was a small pillar with the ornate carvings of said serpent god engraved into the surface of it, coiled around the motley, golden stone. Just one pillar and nothing more; no pathway or walls or altars for sacrifice, just a single pillar in between two tall tree trunks. This caught Desmond's attention, because it was important to know where he was going and if he was heading deeper into the ruins.

As he got in close, he extended his fingers to trace the many scales on the engraved serpent's body, following it from tail to head as he went around the circumference of the pillar. Then, as he went to press at the eye - a well-chiseled perfect circle of stone that looked like it could have been a button - he got the idea that this very pillar may have been the key to his navigation.

He opened his map and investigated the many cryptic symbols and images one at a time to decipher exactly where he was in the region. Of the many images on the map, he saw the exact pillar that he was standing next to, with the same image of the coiled snake on it. On the map, he saw that the snake's snout was pointing directly towards the next important way point, a small shrine meant to look like a pyramid with snakes slithering up its slopes on all four sides, each image different.

Confident, he folded the map up, deciphered what direction he needed to go, and headed off into the jungle once more, disappearing into the humid depths of the tropics.

More than an hour passed before he found his next destination. At one point, he considered giving up and going back but knew if he didn't keep going he would miss out on that huge payday by the one who had hired him. The Enchanted Gem of Ilorek was worth a fortune, and therefore worth the risks taken by those willing to seek it.

Problem was, there was no evidence of others along the path. He saw no abandoned machetes, torn ragged clothes, or canteens littering the path between the pillar and the shrine. Either the rest had given up or were eaten by the serpent goddess. That was a realistic concern, and one that Desmond would keep close to his heart.

Upon arrival at the shrine, he saw that it was in a clearing surrounded on all sides by brambles and vines. He could see the pillar in the center of the clearing, but just barely through the tangled web of thorns and twisted bark. Fortunately enough for him, he had a machete of his own in which he was able to hack the obstructions away, though he had to be careful he didn't damage the stone of the shrine.

Desmond was very cautious as he hacked at the vines, for he remained concerned that he might be dealing with enchanted vegetation. It was not unheard of to have geomancy gems in place to ensure that vines remained in place or would quickly grow back in the event of a chopping or burning. Luckily for him, it appeared no such enchantment had been placed on this shrine and he was free to investigate it at will. He took his time poring over every detail he could before consulting the map.

After cross referencing the images on the map with the real world shrine, Desmond came to realize that the second puzzle may have been a bit more challenging to decipher without the help of more pieces of the puzzle. For a brisk moment he couldn't figure out what any of the clues meant, but he didn't let that stop him from being diligent and circling the shrine over and over again until something caught his eye.

It wasn't the shrine itself that was the clue, it was the four tiny plates that were located touching the four corners of its wide base, almost entirely covered by grasses and the remnants of the brambles that he'd cut down. He couldn't see them at first because he had buried them! The shrine itself had symbols on it, with lines and swirls and waves, but those were meant more as decoration than a hint. Each of the four tiny plates had a different symbol on it as well, but these ones were different from the symbols on the shrine.

Still diligent enough to cross reference the map, he saw that the images on the plates were each coinciding with the images on the four corners of the map. Such a subtle and innocuous hint, but the tiny little red arrow on one of those symbols was enough to guide him in the next direction.

Onward he pushed from one seemingly random artifact or location to another, solving riddles and clues all the while until he finally ended up right in the middle of them all. When he looked at the treasure map and then compared it with his more traditional topographical map, he realized that the five locations he'd been to had sent him into a star path, each of the ruin locales another one of the star points. Directly in the middle lie the broken down and overgrown ruins said to house the Enchanted Gem of Ilorek. He was finally there, and would be taking his prize soon enough.

All around him was the mossy, vine-covered rubble of what used to be the Temple of Rovairre, the place of worship where followers would offer their blessings of magic and energy to Ilorek. There, each of the faithful would puncture their wrists and drain some of the ademane - the fluid responsible for magical prowess - out of their body and onto the Enchanted Gem of Ilorek, which in itself was the result of concentrated, crystallized ademane being distilled into a solid form.

That gem, if unleashed at its full potential, could very well be the most powerful magic ever seen. At least, assuming the proper enchantment went into it. That was the one thing nobody knew about the Gem of Ilorek: what it could do. Everyone knew it was powerful, and everyone understood that it was concentrated magic in the form of polished crystal, but nobody knew what spells were in it or how to enchant it. The goal was to get it, donate it to the Academy of Science and Magic, then experiment on it until a solution was found.

Its value was theoretically limitless, and Desmond was promised fifteen percent of whatever it ended up doing. If that meant funding scientific research for decades, then he'd be getting a percentage of the proceeds. If it was used in warfare, he'd be a reluctant war profiteer (something he hoped to avoid but understood was a possibility). If it ended up it was used to better transport large amounts of resources overseas by manipulating the air and water to propel the ships, then he would get a cut of those profits. No matter what happened and what sort of money the Academy earned off the gem, Desmond would be getting a portion of the coin.

He had the glint of gold in his eyes as he went deeper and deeper into the ruins, never taking his mind off the coin he could earn if he successfully escaped the jungle with the Gem. He was so focused on his inevitable fortunes and so mislead by his self confidence that he stopped paying attention to what was going on around him and grew careless.

Desmond tripped over a vine, stumbled over a fallen stone pillar, and struggled to hop over a crumbling and moss covered wall, nearly landing on his face upon landing on the other side. After that, he looked up and saw a perfectly spherical, partially transparent, teal colored gem nearly the size of his head with swirls of red, purple, and blue circumnavigating it in the form of screw-like discs inside.

The Enchanted Gem of Ilorek.

His eyes glimmered in anticipation as he reached out to grab it, the sounds of cascading coins filling his mind as he pressed his paw pads to its sides. The cool sensation of it was quite refreshing against the heat and humidity of the jungle, which was another distraction that kept him from picking up on the fact that he could no longer hear the squawks of birds or the buzz of insects as he hoisted the Gem from its pedestal.

It was quite heavy, even more so than a rock of its same size. Desmond wasn't sure how well he'd be able to carry such a thing in his hands on the way out of the jungle, and he was pretty sure it wouldn't fit in his satchel, so he had to solve that problem before he took a single step.

However, as he was off in his own mind conceptualizing a dozen solutions, he heard the clatter of stones falling behind him. He whipped his head around to see a pile of rubble shifting and expanding upward, slabs of stone parting as dirt and marble cascaded onto the platform beneath. There was something coming, but he knew he couldn't hightail it and run away for fear of tripping and dropping the Enchanted Gem of Ilorek and chipping it.

The last thing he needed was to have it damaged in a way that cut his profits.

His only solution was to gently place it back on the pedestal and pull out his machete, prepared to defend himself in any way he could, eyes focused on the shifting pile of rubble before him. Once he had done that, he daintily picked the Gem back up and cradled it under his arm while his other hand remained extended, ready for a fight!

To his disdain, he saw when the creature popped its head out that it was a tortoise. Much of the pile was formed due to the shape and size of its shell, and the closer he looked the clearer it became that the pile of rubble had quite recently been piled upon the creature. In fact, Desmond was certain that it couldn't have been there for more than a few hours! This also meant that there must have been some other creature or adventurer nearby, and it didn't take much to realize that if the Gem was still here that whoever it was that was nearby was not here to acquire it; therefore, he must have been in the presence of the keeper of the gem, the naga known as Agorean.

Despite knowing exactly what was coming, he was still taken by surprise when he heard the snapping of a twig behind him. Panicked, he spun around with his machete in hand as a scaled mass lunge towards him faster than his eyes could see, maw open and body hurdled in its entirety over one of the fallen walls to tackle him to the ground, knocking his machete and satchel off to the side in the process while he kept the orb tight against his chest. He fell with the serpent partially wrapped around him, landing beyond another pile of rubble to roll over a soft incline where he came to a stop in an alcove next to an open door that presumably led to the underground part of the temple.

The wind was knocked from his chest and his eyes went sparkly as he struggled to regain his composure and bearing. When he finally came to a point where he could make some sense of his surroundings, he came to quickly feel the weight of a serpent's body pressing down on his chest. He blinked and looked up to see a gorgeous green, tan, and orange naga hovering over top of him, cowl out and fangs bared as venom dripped out their tips and onto his chest. His first instinct was to struggle and squirm, but he didn't make it far before she whipped a coil of her tail end around his chest to hold him down and constrict him.

"What are you doing here?" She asked in a commanding tone. She then flicked her tong and hissed as she saw the Gem resting between his torso and arm. This was the same time he noticed that she wasn't just a snake, but also had arms and legs with a long tail and snake head. "Here to steal the gem? I will have to punish you for that!" She slowly gaped open her maw with her fangs bared to give Desmond the perfect view of her glistening gullet flesh as she descended upon him, prepared to bite.

With his free hand - the one not caught in her coils with the gem - he reached up to grab at her lip, aggressively forcing her maw away from him while also ensuring that her teeth didn't catch on his fur or flesh. Despite that, she was drooling all over him, with silken strands of her hunger soaking his chest and neck while they struggled to see who would prevail.

She pushed down with a gaped open maw, gullet dilating in preparation to smother him and swallow him down, lower jaw bones parting and snapping at him as they widened. Desmond struggled as best he could, pushing back at her with all his might even as her saliva made it quite challenging to keep his grip. He pushed, she pushed back, and she eventually won over with her sheer power only to be redirected by him down at the ground, where she struck at a rock.

"Aha! Take that, serpent goddess!" He proclaimed as she stumbled, dazed by her impact with the rock. This brief window gave him the time to glance around and search for a weapon to use against her. While there were some rocks nearby that he could smash her with, it was the glint of the metal on his machete that caught his eye. He reached out for the handle, only to find that it was just beyond the reach of his fingertips. Though he sensed that he needed only the slightest bit of leverage, he tried his best to squirm and extend his body to its capacity, eager to coax every bit of distance out of his fingers.

All was going well and he was convinced he could reach it, but was quickly stopped as the tip of Agorean's tail slammed down on his wrist and wrapped around his arm, tugging it into his torso with the rest of him. She was slow, deliberate, and menacing as she stared him directly in the eyes, tongue flicking and pupils slitted in anger. While gloating, she shifted her lower jaw and yawned, once again gaping her maw open to let Desmond see exactly what was in store for him while her hand slipped under his arm to grab the Gem, plucking it from his grip.

"Release me, vile creature!" He commanded as he tried once again to reach out. He was certain he was going to escape and be on his way with the Gem, but the moment he struggled against the tight coils around him, she constricted hard enough to halt his breaths, leaving him gasping for air. This lasted only a second before she relaxed and wrapped more of herself around him, leaving him completely coiled and unable to move but still given just enough room to wiggle.

As he regained his breath, he snarled and bit down on her tail with all his might, finding out instantly that she was too tough for his teeth to penetrate. Her scales were like shards of metal on her body and her muscles like fibrous steel underneath, two things combined to ensure he had no chance of besting her in combat. Instead, he opted to try to talk his way out of this. "Release me, and I'll-"

"You'll what, thief? Never return? I've heard that too many times to believe it." She sneered at him, mocking his tone and desperation. "You're going to have to be far more convincing than that in order to essscape me." Her voice trailed off into a hiss as she hovered over him, tongue flicking in between sentences and hands pressed to his chest. She was being sensual with him, touching his fur and rubbing his shoulder with her fingertips as she remained kneeling over top of him.

Desmond wasn't immediately aware of how much larger she was than he, but as he had time to look up and down her body, he came to realize that she must have been twice his height and four times that in length, given the size of her tail. Furthermore, that tail of hers was dexterous like a snake's full body, giving her complete control over his will as it coiled and released him, massaging him from torso to groin. In truth, it would have been appealing if he wasn't in the clutches of a predator that likely intended to make a meal out of him.

Many options flashed through his mind as he struggled to find a way to get himself out of this predicament. Rather than plea or threaten or use his wit, he simply looked her in the eye and asked her. "What can I do to get out of this scenario? What can I offer you in exchange for my life?"

Her predatory motions came to a halt as she shook her head and flicked her tongue, unsure of how to respond to that. "Wait, what? That's not how this is supposed to go."

"I know, but you're clearly far stronger than I am, you've already got me in your coils and there's no way I'm getting out unless you let me. I tried biting you, but your scales are very strong-"

She flushed and smiled. "Thank you!"

"-and unless I get my machete and literally hack your tail off, I'm pretty much entirely at your mercy. I have no threats to offer you, I have no magic to counter you, and I have no promises I can make that would convince you. That said, I'd really rather not be ended today. I quite like my life, and I feel I have a whole lot more to offer the world alive than I would as snake food. So what do you say? Work with me to find a solution?" His heart was beating, his chest was heaving, and his pupils were dilated in fear. He was prepared to do anything and hadn't yet convinced himself he would be fine, but he did throw her off her game and felt that may have given him an upper hand or some leverage.

Agorean stumbled over her words a bit as she tried to compose herself, shocked at his response. This was clearly not something she had experienced in her victims before and therefore not something she had scripted a response for. As such, she remained frozen in place, staring down at him with a blank look upon her face. It wasn't until she caught a single strand of her drool escaping her lips and soaking his chest that she regained her lucidity enough to participate in the conversation again.

She flicked her tongue again and narrowed her gaze, gradually pushing her chest down to his with her head hovering so close to his snout that they could feel the breaths of the other. "You'll be quite disappointed to know that I don't need anything aside from food, warmth, and this Gem." She held it up, balancing it between fingers and thumb to let the sun shine through it. "And since the Sun isn't going anywhere, I have the Gem, and you'd make a lovely meal, I don't feel the need to negotiate."

In response to her counter point, he huffed and sighed, unsure of where to go from there. "Well, if that's the case then why I don't I just find you someone else to eat? Get you a nice juicy boar or something from down by the river. Nobody will miss a boar, and I'm not going to take your sun."

"You think that's enough to convince you to leave and never return?" She looked over at the Gem with its glowing mass reflecting in her slitted, golden eyes. "I don't think you understand just how important this relic truly is to me. Its very presence here attracts all sorts of tasty morsels to these ruins, and here I am with yet another adventurer begging me for mercy. Well, my friend, even serpent goddesses have to eat, and I can never tell for certain when my next meal will arrive so I can't really risk letting one go."

As she spoke, Desmond's gaze was focused on the Gem, trying to find a way to get it from her and escape. While she was distracted, he could perhaps wriggle his way out and run, get the machete, and pluck the gem from her clutches in any way possible. He wasn't an expert swordsman, but he knew how to use a blade and he was in survival mode so he knew he could do more than he would be able to, otherwise. It was really his only chance at any sort of escape.

Problem was, the coils around his chest were just tight enough to act as a sort of sensor for his upcoming intentions. As he mentally prepared himself for his escape, his breathing quickened and his heart beats grew rapid, all things that she could feel with ease as she coiled a bit tighter.

"I really wouldn't focus too much on what's going to happen next, my dear morsel." She said as she slowly brought the gem to between them, ensuring that he saw only its shiny surface and her head was hidden behind it from his perspective. The sunlight shone through it, refracting the light and bathing him in it as she continued to speak. "I see that your quest is for this Gem, and that you'd be willing to sacrifice your life for it. As such, I know exactly where to hide it that you won't be able to retrieve it without giving me what I want."

Before Desmond could protest or speak a word of protest, Agorean's maw gaped open wide and wrapped her lips around the bulge of the Gem, fangs clamping down on it and squirting venom over its surface to dribble down onto his chest. She released her hold with her hand to instead clamp her gums around it, each of her lower jaws spreading and widening with ease as her rows of teeth slid up its sides to soak it with her saliva. The pink flesh of her maw wrapped around its girth, forcing it deeper with each gulp and strategic twist of her neck.

Once it was past the point where half of it was resting comfortably in her throat and forming a bulge in her neck, she closed her jaws around it to continue staring at her. From there, she used the pressure of her gullet and the motions of her body to force it down her neck and into her torso, maw partially agape to ensure Desmond could see the glisten of her gums and the glint reflecting off each of her hundreds of sharp, needle point teeth.

It didn't take long at all to bury the Gem deep in her belly, its girth disappearing into her torso without making even the faintest of a bulge when compared to her body's full size. Then, as she made her final motions, she extended her neck and slowly widened her gullet and maw, stretching out upper and lower jaws in a terrifying yawn before closing back up and realigning the bones. Complete and restored once more, she flicked her tongue and grinned back down at Desmond, half smirk pulling at the corner of her lips. "Well? No witty response to that? You do know where you can go to get the Gem if you really, truly do want it." She pulled at her jaw and relaxed her throat, spreading it open and gaping her gullet as deep as it would go with her stretched flesh letting the faintest hint of light in.

He just gulped as he felt the swell of blood rushing through him. There was no denying she could read his heartbeat through the clench of her tail, and she knew he was either frightened or excited based on his pulse, but it was the warmth that flowed through him that gave him away.

"Alright then, if that's how you're going to be, I'm going to go ahead and end this now. This chat has been quite fulfilling." She threatened as she hissed and opened her maw once more, this time angling herself just right to ensure he could see the yellowed drips of venom leaking out of her fangs.

Sensing this was truly his last opportunity for a bold move, he pulled both of his hands out from her coils and reached out to grab her by the lips, one hand on her upper jaw between the fangs and the other hand on her lower jaw between the bones with his thumb plugging up her tongue slit! "You'll never take me, serpent scum!" He called out as he kicked and writhed in her grasp, futile attempts to keep her fangs well away from his neck proving to be little more than a distraction for Agorean.

The serpent hissed and pushed back against his paws as her tail constricted his torso with the sort of strength reserved for prey. She held him down and reached down with both of her hands to slam down on the dirt on either side of his head, holding her torso over his as she snapped and tried her best to force herself onto him. Her maw was distended and twisted out of place with every attempt, copious amounts of saliva and venom splaying in all directions as the two struggled against one another.

In the midst of their battle, Agorean stopped dead in her tracks and froze in place, distracted by a distinct vibration she felt coming from his pants. She blinked, confused at first until Desmond stopped growling at her long enough to feel and hear it, too.

His phone was ringing.

The cellphone in his pocket was going off, taking him out of the scene with such an abrupt and unfortunate buzz that he stared up at her in a stunned silence as his ringtone got gradually louder.

"Are you gonna get that?" Agorean asked. Her first name was Anax, but for the sake of the scene she called herself by her middle name, a more regal and mythical sounding name.

"N-no, if it's important they'll call back later." Desmond responded, hands still clutched at her lips; he wasn't sure if this meant that their fun was done or if they were just going to ignore the phone and carry on. Such a distraction did ruin the mood, but he was fairly invested in the character and was willing to return to his role if they could shut his phone up.

Yet, despite them remaining in place in a frozen stupor for what felt like an eternity, the phone just didn't give up. The ringing kept going, the buzzing persisted, and it only got louder with each successive ring. The sounds eventually did stop as it went to voicemail, but that didn't stop Desmond from blushing and covering his face in shame.

"I'm so sorry, Anax. I didn't think to shut it off before we started. Honestly, I forgot it was even on me until just now. Can you forgive me?" He asked, barely able to keep any form of eye contact.

In response, she laughed and adjusted her jaw again while straddling his hips, tail still wrapped around him with part of her tip cradling the back of his head to keep him comfortable. "Yeah, I think I can find it in me to forgive you, but you're gonna have to ensure it doesn't ring again." Though she trailed off in a way that made it seem like she was about to give him time to silence the device, she instead hissed and flicked her tongue before striking and tagging him on the neck, sinking her fangs into his skin through his fur and releasing instantly.

Desmond was taken by surprise, and didn't even get his paws up to stop her before she managed to briskly envenomate him! Almost instantly, a searing pain burst from his neck and down his body starting from the two puncture points, filling him with a sensation that felt like he had been drenched in hot oil! For that brisk moment, he screamed and flailed, clutching his neck as the pain slowly dissipated into a more soothing warmth that made his flesh and fur more sensitive to the touch.

All the while, Agorean stared at him with her tongue slowly slapping at the air. "You alright?" She asked, trying her best to be inquisitive without being insensitive. She wanted to ensure his safety while also maintaining her predatory allure; she was failing miserably.

He clenched his teeth and growled at himself as he struggled to contain the rage that flowed through him; he was shocked at how much her bite had hurt, even though he was expecting it! Together the two of them had agreed that there would be a bite and that it would hurt, but the actual intensity of it was far beyond what he was prepared for, and as such it had enraged him! "Grr! Why didn't you warn me that it was going to hurt that much?"

She blinked and shrunk down, cowl flattening to her neck in shame. "I'm sorry, I thought I made it clear before that the bite would really hurt. I tried warning you!"

Despite the anger that flowed in him - not towards Anax, but just at the searing sensations that were still rumbling through his fur just beneath the skin - he couldn't help but feel bad for his outburst. "You promised me you'd hold back with the constriction, and you did that; I figured the same would apply for your bite!"

"But venom is venom, dear, it's going to hurt the same no matter how much I put in you. The only difference would be how long the pain lasts before subsiding; I put so little in you this time that it should be clearing up pretty quick." She pressed her hand against his to rub at the puncture holes as he felt the heat level out even more, allowing him to relax a bit.

The intensity of the pain was quick and intense, hitting him like a bullet but quickly fizzling out in less than a minute to leave him with a permeating feeling of warmth and hypersensitivity. It was like he had a fever, except without any of the sensations of feeling like he was going to die. Curious about the connotations of this, he rubbed his fingertips together, testing to see just how sensitive he had become in the wake of her venom-laced bite. Much to his surprise, he was feeling pleasant, ethereal, and even a little aroused. The hyper sensitivity left him swollen and engorged in his pants.

Agorean was able to tell this immediately, as her lower belly was pressed up against his groin as this happened. "See? I knew you'd be alright." She assured him as she gave him one final constriction before releasing her grip on his torso, leaving him in a semi-dreamlike state beneath her.

Desmond's eyes swayed from side to side as he struggled to gain a proper focus on what was around him. The venom had left him only semi-lucid, where he felt like he was in a dream and he was experiencing some hallucinations out of the corner of his eyes. The only thing he was able to focus on was Anax's head, hovering just over his face. Everything else was blurred and swirling, like an oil painting on top of the water's surface. "Wh-what's happening to me?" He asked as he extended his hand upwards, patting Anax on her snout until she flicked her tongue and slapped his forearm with it.

Then, in an effort to return the both of them to the scene that had played out before their rude introduction, she sensually grabbed at his arm and caressed it up and down as her tongue wrapped around his wrist. "Don't you worry, dear. You'll be part of me sssoon enough." Her voice returned to a hiss, her tone once again sinister and menacing instead of her more natural compassionate tone. She returned to her role, treating him once again like the unwary adventurer that had fallen into her trap.

Despite being partially asleep with his mind catching wisps of dreams and hallucinations blending with the real world, Desmond maintained enough lucidity to see what she was doing and react accordingly. "N-no, you won't take me!" He said with a struggle, trying his best to worm his way out from under her body - and most notably the folds of her tail pressed down on his chest. She was no longer coiling him, but her body weight was still pressed down on him and he lacked the strength to resist her. At best, he could reach out and barely touch the handle of his machete, but was drawn out of that power fantasy when he felt the silken flesh of her maw smother his one arm.

When he looked back up, he saw that she'd inserted his entire forearm in her maw with her lips wrapped around his elbow as she suckled at him. She was careful to ensure that her fangs didn't snag him again, since she knew that he didn't enjoy the sudden onset of pain that came with it. Instead, she kept her fangs folded up tight against her gums as she bobbed her head up and down, sensually suckling as if his arm was a cock.

The sensations of having her gums and soft gullet flesh squeezing tight around his forearm and hand sent a tingle down his spine and into the tips of his toes, a wave of pleasure that extended out to each of his extremities before converging in his groin. In an odd way, it already felt as though he could feel her gullet holding him snug all over his body, with every bit of him moist and soaked in her saliva.

In the midst of his submission to her, he felt her grab his other arm from over at his machete and do the same thing with it that she had done with his first hand, sliding it into her gullet and clamping her maw down around it to hold him in place. She lightly sucked at both of his arms for a bit before she bent down over top of him, extending her maw forth to swallow him up past his biceps with her snout pressed against his. Even in this position, with her maw partially agape and his arms snug past her cheeks and down her throat, she was able to speak. "Relax, my delicious morsssel." She urged him, her voice in a sultry, hypnotizing tone.

Desmond wasn't sure if it was the venom coaxing him into compliance or her hypnotic eyes and voice, but he found himself willingly nuzzling back into Anax's maw, rubbing his snout to hers until he felt that familiar snag of teeth catching on the crest of his muzzle. "Yesss..." He hissed back, closing his eyes after getting a gloriously detailed, up close look at the soft, glistening flesh of her maw.

With his permission, Agorean wrapped her tail around the back of his head to pull him up as she leaned back with him, biting down on his arms and snout to pull him into position on top of her. She was careful to not hurt him but remained firm in the clenching of her jaws around his form until she came to rest on her back with him straddling her chest, arms in a diving position aimed down her maw.

No more words were exchanged between the two, as neither really felt the need to speak. Anax had a mouth full and just wanted to feel him sliding down her gullet, and he was too out of his mind to bother trying to form any sentences.

The time had come, his reckoning was here - at least in character - so he leaned into her and smiled as he felt her broad maw sliding over his head and clamping down around the back of his neck. He could feel the sharp points of her teeth and the stabbing of her fangs but she wasn't injecting any venom so there were no sudden pains bursting out from his shoulders. Instead of wondering what was next, he leaned into her even more, shifting so that his knees were on her chest and he got better leverage over top of her in order to dive in.

In response to his eagerness, Anax extended her lips forward while widening her maw as far as it would go, widening her lower jaws to catch his body in her gullet with relative ease. She did gulp and bite down in between extensions of her form, but let him do most of the work at first.

With one simple move combined with the spreading of her jaws, Desmond was able to worm his way down her throat in tiny motions back and forth, practically slithering like a snake into her. He smiled and gulped heavily as he felt her throat muscles clench around his snout and slide over his skull, her esophagus constricting around his outstretched hands, and her teeth clenched down either side of his spine. All the sensations were intense - moreso than he'd come to expect thanks to the venom that coursed through his veins - and he had this subtle yet permeating feeling of sexual pleasure coating his entire body. Her soft walls squeezed at him like a pussy would constrict a cock, emulating the sort of sexual pleasure that only intercourse could provide.

Of course, he was also shocked at how easily he descended into her. Her throat muscles were tense yet malleable, snug yet loose at the same time. With every push of his feet off her belly scales, he could feel the soft pillows of her flesh sliding over him while expanding to fit him while also ensuring he had no leeway to widen his stance or pull back out. Even if her throat wasn't constricting him, he wouldn't be able to back out thanks to the snag of her many teeth clenched down on his back.

Regardless of the other options, the only thing he could do at this point was push himself in deeper, slithering in place while her throat gulped at him and tugged him into her belly. He pushed forth with his hands, wading in her silken, saliva-soaked flesh as best he could while her jaws continued to clench down and tug at him, rows of teeth walking down his back and belly every step of the way.

He was finally getting comfortable and complacent in his position when he felt the coil of her tail wrapping around his upper legs, groin, and tail to hoist his lower half up off her chest and into the air. There, she let gravity help her as she widened her jaws as far apart as they would go, her malleable, elastic flesh gaping and loosening before clenching back up in a wave to once again gulp at him.

Mere seconds passed as he felt his body sliding into her, the warmth and wetness of her gullet smothering him over his torso, past his belly, and beyond his groin as her maw clamped shut on his upper thighs while his tail wagged over the end of her snout. If he wasn't trapped for good before, he was now. He kicked, bicycling his legs in the air as he felt every motion shifting his form just a little bit deeper and her lips wrapping around his limbs a bit lower.

Well ahead of him, he felt a sudden constriction of esophagus clenching around his wrists, giving way to the cavernous looseness of her belly. This gave him a sort of relief but also a bit of anxiety as he realized that he would be in her stomach very soon, thus concluding his journey and ending his snug position in her throat, smothered by her gullet flesh.

The only thing he could think to do was to resist, to stop himself from being forced any deeper in order to remain in her throat, where her muscles massaged him and her saliva soaked into him with ease. He tried to widen his legs to make it harder for her lips to wrap around them, but she had no problems overpowering him and sliding her cheek muscles down his thighs while gulping against his body. He still tried to spread out and resist her, but that only made her muscles quiver before clenching down in waves starting at his hips. Plus, her teeth ensured that he could only slide in one direction.

Despite his many protests and his active will to not be fully swallowed, he felt that tight bit of passage slide up his arms and around his head as her gullet forced him to dive into her. There was a moment of apprehension before he felt his palms press to the surface of the still-cool, Enchanted Gem of Ilorek, forming an odd contrast between the soft warmth of her belly walls and the cool smoothness of the gem itself.

He was granted only the slightest moment of contemplation before another gulp of hers forced the rest of his body to slide through her gullet and lurch into her belly, slamming his face against the Gem before depositing the rest of his body in her belly, curled up around it. His body slid through her throat with ease once he had slipped into her belly past his shoulders, leaving a gaped passage in his wake that filled her gut with air in his rushed entrance, leaving him in the fetal position with the Gem in the middle, his entire form pressing out against her walls and distending her scales from within.

Anax may have belched to disperse the air inside her, but opted instead to roll onto her rump and pat her belly, loins moist with excitement as she felt that familiar arousal that came with a heavy meal in her belly. Unlike most serpents, a big prey item deposited in her belly pressed against her most sensitive parts, resulting in instant arousal the moment Desmond lurched into her gut.

With a pat of her belly and a rub of her ventral scales, she brought her tail around to tease at her lips, ready to pleasure herself until she felt a deep vibration in her torso followed by yet another muted ringing of Desmond's phone. "Seriously?" She laughed at her distended belly. "I thought I told you to put that thing on silent! It kind of ruins the whole concept of mean, evil serpent goddess taking a victim if you've got your phone going off in the middle of the scene!" Her words were harsh, but her tone was jovial. She was no longer aroused in the sort of way that demanded attention so she got to her feet and slither-stretched in place, extending each muscle down her spine in a wave.

Inside, Desmond sighed and struggled to reach into his pocket, pulling the phone out from the pool of saliva that he was resting in. The screen from the phone lit up her insides, giving him a clear view of her tender belly walls, the ripples of her flesh that cradled him, and the glisten of saliva coating said walls. As it turned out, it was his friend calling him, the one who originally recommended The Vore House of Klyneth to him."

The scene had officially concluded, so he rolled his eyes and used his thumb to answer the phone, straining against the walls that encapsulated him as he put it up to his ear. "Hey, can this wait? I'm sort of in the middle of something. Someone, I guess." He said in an exasperated tone.

His friend could barely hear him thanks to the gumming of the microphone thanks to Anax's saliva, but answered as best he could. "Yeah, sorry about that. Just wanted to let you know that this weekend there's a two for one deal with one serpent and one dragon at The Vore House. Something about a vore and unbirth combo if you get two scenes. One today, one tomorrow."

"Yes, I know all about that. I'm currently in Anax right now. As in, we just finished our scene and I'm inside her." He explained, eyes rolling. He was about to say more when a slap to Anax's belly silenced him.

"You know I can hear your muffled words and the light from your phone is peeking through my belly scales, right?" She informed him with a hiss. "Can this call wait? I'd really like to go onto the next scene, and this whole thing you're doing is sort of ruining the mood." She was a little irked that she no longer was able to feel that budding arousal that came from a heavy meal, but knew that once he shut off his damn phone, her ability to pleasure herself would return.

"Sorry, sorry!" He apologized before going back to his friend. "I'll call you back later, maybe tonight. And stop calling me unless it's an emergency." He pulled it away and clicked the end call button, but wasn't able to put the phone back in his pocket. He knew he had ruined the roleplay with Anax, but the pleasure was still there, the lingering hypersensitivity remained coursing under his skin, and he had certainly enjoyed himself even if the mood had been tainted with unseemly phone calls.

Either way, he urged himself to get snug in her belly, wrapped around the Enchanted Orb of Ilorek as she walked the both of them away from the ruins and back to the Vore House Manor, where he would be regurgitated and instructed on his next scene.

It was going to be a great weekend.
