Havok sat in the suite and waited for Renzyl to come and pick him up, watching out the window at the dimension he had called home for the last few days. The stars shined brightly and the sky was clear, a perfect end note to the night as he watched those down on the beach clean up the remains of their party. Once he had finished his brooding he ordered room service for one last time and watched a movie as he ate. Just as it finished up he heard a knock at the door, the dragon set aside the empty plate and opened the door to see Renzyl standing there.

"Time to go," the rubber dragon informed him as he motioned out of the hallway, adjusting the bag on his back as Havok slowly nodded. They made their way to the elevator and as they traveled down he noticed that the resort was surprisingly empty now. Renzyl explained that even creatures made of rubber, goo, stone, and whatever else still needed their rest, especially after an entire day of fun in the sun, and most had retired to their rooms for the night. When they got to the lobby Havok returned the key to the front desk clerk and followed Renzyl out into the beach proper.

Like the resort the beach was mostly deserted, the sand shifting under Havok's feet as they made their way to the boardwalk. There were a few people that came to say goodbye; however, Jerkah and Athear both met him on the way to give him a parting goodbye hug and to express their thanks for coming. Several others made their way to say their byes as well and by the time they reached the wooden steps of the boardwalk Havok had been hugged several more times. "People here really enjoy it when they have a chance to show off for guests," Renzyl said with a chuckle.

"That's for sure," Havok replied while they walked, hearing the sound of the waves as it crashed against the pylons. "I had an amazing time here, which is crazy because less than a week ago I didn't know such a thing existed. Although getting home will be nice, it'll definitely be a change of pace when I get there."

"There is always something nice about coming home from a vacation," Renzyl mused as they stopped in front of a store that sold equipment for surfing and other such aquatic activities, the rubber dragon pausing as he took the bag he had been carrying and opened it up. "But so you don't forget about us when you get home, my brothers and I have made up a little going away present based on your trip here. Got all sorts of fun things in here, starting with this..."

Renzyl pulled out a bunch of silver packages that caused Havok to tilt his head slightly until he saw all the labels on them. "Jerkah has apparently made you a week's worth of meals," Renzyl explained as he set them on the boardwalk. "All of them have transformative effects, though not as strong as the ones that you experienced here naturally. I was also told by him to tell you to save the desserts for when you're with a friend or two that would be open to the idea, he said you would know what that meant."

"Next we have something from our mutual friend Serathin," Renzyl explained as he pulled out several sticks of incense and a laser pistol. "The pistol will duplicate the effects of the match you had, quite literally, on anyone you target with it, including yourself. The incense is full moon rubber, which he said will allow your vulcanthrope form to come out once again, but told me that unlike his it is not infectious and has far less of the instincts than what you encountered."

Havok took the incense and smelt it, breathing in the scent of woods and the slight aroma of rubber as Renzyl pulled a speedo, a spray bottle, and a regular bottle next. "I'm sure these are pretty straight forward to you," Renzyl said as he put them out for the dragon to see. "The speedo will allow you to go back to your aquatic form when you get wet, the spray bottle is to turn back somewhat into an inflatable, mostly the rubber shine and feeling a bit lightheaded from what I suspect. The last thing is Athear's special brew, which will give you one of his alcohol naga forms, which he says is great for parties if you happen to have a lot of like-minded friends who don't mind getting frisky with you.

"Then we have a few bobbles from a few days ago..." Renzyl said as he dumped the rest of the bag out and handed them each one by one to Havok to look at. "We got the video game you played with Haleon to become a drone, a harness and muzzle for you that puts itself on and can change you into an equine from Santer, a vaporizer from Tarien with some different juices for you and others to try. Though I wouldn't take the jackal too heavily on this, he does recommend that if you can to try and arrange a tasting party with something called a hookah randomizer, whatever that means."

Once he put that back in the bag he pulled out what appeared to be a package of seeds and a small electronic device. "This is from Yavini," Renzyl explained. "Said if you wanted to experience what you had in the arboretum to a limited to degree go ahead and pop one of these in your mouth, and I guess the seeds are color-coded. Then this flash drive has an audio file on it from our favorite hypnaga in case you ever wanted to experience being me again."

"Then we have some stuff from your beach party experience," Renzyl said as he pulled the last items out of the bag. "We have... a bottle of liquor from Athear that he says he diluted and also not to set yourself on fire, a pair of swim fins and gloves from Famjin, and a large bottle of sculpting sand from Modino. Quite the care package you got from my brothers, they must have really enjoyed their company."

Havok helped Renzyl put everything back in the bag and then the rubber dragon helped it onto Havok's shoulder. "Thanks again for all the stuff," Havok replied. "I don't think I would have ever forgotten you guys, anyway, but this definitely helps."

"Well we always do our best in order to make a lasting impression," Renzyl replied with a chuckle before he looked at the surf shop door. "In any case we have to get you back before we all get in trouble, and unfortunately I can't follow you through that door this time. You take care of yourself, Havok, and I'm sure we'll meet again sometime. Also you have the nexus app installed on your phone so feel free to drop a line if you'd like."

The two hugged once more, the bigger dragon almost smothering Havok before they separated and waved one last goodbye. Once they were done Havok grabbed the handle of the door and looked back, seeing the rubber dragon standing there with his arms crossed and a smirk on his face. Havok turned back and opened the door, then stepped inside and allowed it to close behind him as he looked around.

Unlike what the front of the store had advertised he was surrounded by vacuums; mostly old dusty ones that he was sure no one would use in their lifetimes. He suddenly realized this is where he met the rubber dragon in the first place and turned to quickly open the door. Outside the ocean and boardwalk were gone, replaced with the empty street that he had left a week ago. When he looked down at his phone he saw that despite being in the pocket dimension for seven days, only about three minutes passed in this world. He sighed when he realized that his vacation was truly over and made his way back to the main street so he could head home.

Once more Havok was surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the main street as he maneuvered his way through the crowd, occasionally being bumped and jostled around. One in particular knocked him back a bit and the one who did it turned to him and said excuse me before going on his way once again. Havok was just about to reply that was okay when he thought he caught a glimpse of something, a pair of saber teeth and glowing green eyes that he would recognize anywhere. He tried to turn around and follow the hoodie-wearing creature but by the time he got to the corner of the street they were gone, which caused the dragon to scratch his head and leave. As he returned back to his normal route he failed to see the one who wore the hooded sweatshirt as they leaned over the railing of a nearby fire escape, a fangy grin on his muzzle as he turned and disappeared.
