***Galaxy at War***

Prologue:Start

400 years ago, Humans were discovered on Earth by the peaceful race known as the Furs; a race of sapient beings that for some reason looked like humanoid versions of earth's mammals, such as foxes, wolves and tigers. They were drawn to the earth because of its mana current, which flows through all planets and stars in the Galaxy. This mana current can even give some people and animal's magic powers on the planets with a strong enough current. Even though the Earth was weak in mana, the furs were still able to find earth and show the Humans the secrets of using mana to travel space. The humans, with some help from the furs were able to establish they're first Galactic government called the Earth Federation.

Around 230 years ago, the Humans and the Earth Federation were invited to join the Intergalactic Alliance to help combat the aggressive Empire of the Zadarake, a race of reptilian humanoids, who had recently attacked and occupied Synya, the home planet of the avian humanoid race called the Rouli. The Humans advanced weapons and ships made short work out of the Zadarake, pushing them all the way back to they're home star system of Thorta almost single handedly. The Zadarake War was the first time the Furs or any race in the Galaxy saw what the human forces were capable of.

After the Zadarake War, the Earth Federation began rapidly and aggressively colonizing worlds. In 20 years the Earth Federation's Territory had tripled, but this Expansion came at a cost for the Humans. For they had began to colonize worlds that other alliance races had claim to, this act is considered treason to the Intergalactic Alliance. After the Humans refused to stop they're expansion, the Intergalactic Alliance some how tricked the Federation fleets to abandon their colonies and seeded worlds, and return to their home star system of Sol. When the Alliance was sure the humans were there they had the Furs use something called the slave engine, an ancient machine that could sever a star system's connection to the great mana current. This would render the human's ships unusable, and keep them trapped in the star system.

30 years after the events now known as the "Human Purge", a civil war was waged on Earth's moon by politicians trying to gain what little power the Earth Federation had left. The events that took place during the war are uncertain, but the one who took control as a result of the war is a Man by the name of Andre Tolkki who believes that the races of the Intergalactic Alliance are evil, and that humans should be the ones to dethrone them. Also during this time of exile, the humans had advanced in technology due to there natural ingenuity, or the "Human Spirit" as the other races now call it. This advance led to the creation of star ships that did not need mana or magic to travel the stars.

50 years ago the humans returned with a massive Fleet. They had also made a shady Alliance with the Zadarake. With this massive and threatening fighting force no one dared to oppose Andre Tolkki's newly formed Galactic government now known as 'The Solar Empire". Within 10 months, the solar empire had retaken control of all its former colony worlds. The Intergalactic Alliance races did not dare attack the empire out of fear of them taking revenge on them but to no such luck.

45 years ago the Human's Ares fleet and the Zadarake's Santorium flotilla launched a massive attack on the peaceful Furry world of Fortuna within 1 galactic week the population of 40 million furs was reduced to 100,000. Men, Women, and children were butchered, raped, and plundered be the Humans and Zadarake.

The leader of the Solar Empire, Andre Tolkki, is quoted as saying," Fortuna was a massage to the rest of the Alliance, to show them what we are capable of, soon the rest of the galaxy will be absorbed by the Solar Empire, and then peace and order shall rain for ever."

44 years ago today, Queen Lara of the Furs declared war on the Solar Empire. Even when backed by several other Alliance races such as the Xandians and the Qunri, Queen Lara was still skeptical in her ability to lead her people and the Alliance to victory.

Now it is the present and the war still rages on, destroying our one beautiful galaxy. It is hard to say who is wining but all I know is that this conflict must end soon or nothing will remain. I am an historian for Queen Lara herself, or at least I once was. Now I am merely a foot soldier in the Royal Furred Navy. My family is long dead and gone. I chose to become a soldier so I could see they're faces when they die. Right now they are probable thinking the same thing... And I would not have it any other way!
