Converse Sneakers Hookup - Chapter 1

Lisse is a fit young gay feline with a preference for Converse sneakers. He finds a shy malamute with the same fetish.

Well now, he was an interesting one!

The dark-furred Alaskan malamute. Young, slender, obviously gay to Lisse's perceptive gaze but so subtly so even Lisse couldn't pick out exactly what he was reading in the canine. It was something in the way he crossed his legs and twitched his feet as he watched the skaters swirling their way around the ice rink, or even the way he sipped his soda, or the lay of his ears. He was low-key gay, not flambuoyant or femboish as far as Lisse could tell.

It didn't really matter. All that mattered was that he was definitely worth a closer look.

Lisse swaggered up to the dog. "Hi!" A swagger always worked well with Lisse's feline body.

The malamute noticed him out of the corner of his eye, looked straight at him, and offered him the kind of shy smile introverts so often did, the one that said, I can see you're being friendly but I'm not sure I can do the same back. "Hi," he answered, his voice apparently naturally quiet.

Lisse sat down on the concrete seat next to the the canine and let his tail curl around his calves. "Thought I'd come over and say hello," he explained. He knew he was repeating himself but the game meant that the words hardly mattered, it was the intonation, the looks, the frisson that happened when two sexually hungry fursons met.

"Sure," said the malamute, and then the conversation stopped dead. Instead of moving the conversation on he shuffled on his butt and looked out at the skaters again, smiling this time. The rustle of skateboard wheels against concrete filled the silence. After a few seconds he glanced at Lisse and said, "Do you know anyfur out there?"

"A couple of friends," the blue Clouded Leopard answered, "But I thought you were more interesting to look at."

The dog looked at him in surprise. "Oh - sure!" Then he clammed awkwardly up and refused to meet Lisse's eyes. To a less observant fur he might have looked nonchalant. Lisse knew otherwise.

He tutted sympathetically. "You're shyer than I thought you'd be."

He saw that the dog didn't want to say anything - or that his introversion was stopping him from saying any more. But then he seemed to make a deliberate effort at talking. "What's your name?"

"Lisse." He could almost feel the gears grinding on the conversation, slow and effortful and clunky. But maybe it would be worth the effort.

"Hi Lisse," said the dog.

Lisse waited for the next part of the conversation but nothing came. He moved it on himself thinking, I'm going to drag you into the changing rooms in a minute and then we won't have to make conversation at all. "What's your name?"

"Louis," said the canine. "But everyfur calls me 'Wolf."

"Because you're a malamute, right?"

Wolf looked doubtful. "I think it stuck because I don't say very much. Like I'm some kind of semi-feral hermit or something."

"Mm, a double-entendre, very clever," answered Lisse, who was frankly beginning to feel quite enchanted by Wolf's guarded, even brooding, silence. When he presented it the right way, it was rather-

-Oop. He'd thought of something else to say.

"What about your name? I've never heard of a Lisse before."

Lisse chuckled. "I have very extrovert parents. We're a colourful family, as you can imagine," he said, indicating his body to show off the shades of blue that dappled his fur, "and they just decided to give me a French name. It's French for 'smooth', in case you're wondering. It makes sense when you know my folks. It's a bit of an effort not to look camp, but there you go."

Wolf seemed to take this in with a silent nod. Then: "And you have a double-entendre of your own because you're definitely smoother than I am," he said with a chuckle - and then went awkwardly quiet.

Lisse was never one to turn down a compliment. "Thank you! But you're not so bad yourself. You made me come over."

Wolf smirked a little, but it didn't quite fit his demeanour. "I suppose. But, uhm... Look, I've never really been approached like this before."

"Would you prefer it if I hadn't?" asked Lisse, feeling himself cool off a little from the dog.

"Oh no no, that's not what I meant," Wolf took a deep breath as if he had something big to confess. "I'm bi, but so far I've only had female partners. This is a bit new to me. If I'm doing this wrong, that's why."

"Oh, sure. Nah, you're doing fine," drawled the Clouded Leopard. "Well, if you're nervous I can make it easier for you. So you're interested in a bit of action, then?"

"I-" Lisse saw Wolf's confidence collapse, then the dog's deliberate effort to re-build it mid-sentence. "Yes. I am."

Lisse smiled. "So. When and where and how?"

Wolf scratched the back of his ear as he thought about his answer. "Maybe tomorrow afternoon? I've got to go in five minutes and I've genuinely got to study tonight but I've got all of tomorrow free. You can come to my place if you want."

"It's a date." Lisse could see that Wolf was relieved that the conversation was done, so feline settled back to watch the skaters alongside his canine companion. "So who do you know out there?"

Wolf gave him an engagingly earnest look. "Honest answer? I don't. I sort of pretend to normally, but I'll be honest with you. I really like skaters."

Lisse couldn't help but look mischievous. "Oh yeah? How much?"

Wolf almost smirked, if such a thing from this earnest canine was possible. "That much." He paused. "Especially the footwear."

Curious! "You a foot fetishist?"

"I suppose so, yeah. I love watching athleticism, but it's the sneakers they wear that I like. Really slim to the foot, and..." A squirrel walked by with a pair of hi-tops on. Wolf caught Lisse's eye and the feline understood that the rodent was wearing just the right footwear. "...and I like it when they go up the ankle. I don't know why exactly."

I've got a pair of those at home! "Nofur says you have to. So, tomorrow afternoon at your place, hmm?"

"Yeah!" said Wolf happily, and gave Lisse his address.

xXx

The following afternoon rolled in, and Lisse came calling.

Wolf opened his apartment door, glad that he'd managed to talk his two flatmates into both going out for the night. This being his first homosexual experience, he'd been ruminating over it all day and frankly, he was just about ready to either just have sex already or run screaming for the hills.

"Hi Lisse," he said, and hoped he sounded calmer than he felt. "Come on in."

He looked down and was not disappointed - and yet strangely terrified - to see that the cat was wearing fresh, new sneakers along with a pair of not-too-tight jeans that managed to describe his legs and hips enticingly well, and a designer fleece.

"Oh, come on mate," said Lisse with a wry grin as he passed through into Wolf's living room. "It's not going to be that bad!"

"Yeah, I know. I'm just not used to this."

Lisse smirked. "I bet you're used to thinking about it."

Wolf gave him a grin and looked away as if he had something to do next, and again Lisse was left with the impression of a fur who was used to hiding his shyness with a show of don't-care.

"You got anything alcoholic?"

"Oh sure, sure," answered the malamute and bustled off to the kitchen, his curly tail bobbing behind him. He returned with a bottle of vodka and a pair of shot glasses clinking in one hand-paw.

"Now that's what I'm talking about!" Lisse said approvingly, his cloud-patterned tail rising gracefully behind him in approval. He took the bottle, unscrewed the cap and poured a shot for himself and Wolf. He picked his up and gave Wolf a complicit look as the dog lifted his own. "Skol!" he said, clinked glasses with Wolf and knocked his back.

"Right," said the cat, pouring them each one more. "I suggest... one more shot each, and then we start. Feeling brave enough yet?"

For a bright blue feline, Wolf was impressed with how non-campy Lisse managed to come across. The cat sniffed a little before he downed his second shot and wiped at the corner of his mouth with one digit before half-slamming the shot glass down on the table.

"Come on then," he said, stood up, and removed his fleece.

Underneath it was a tshirt that, like his jeans, wasn't really tight, but somehow clung to his body and made its curves more noticeable.

Wolf hesitated, and then pulled off his own tshirt and began to unbutton his jeans.

...but Lisse was remaining zipped up in his.

"Aren't you getting naked?" asked Wolf, trying to keep his confidence in place as he shucked the legs off his jeans off and hooked his thumbs into the waist of his underpants.

Lisse's previous smile, his joviality, had evaporated. In its place was a seriousness, an expression that said, We're going to do something hot right here, right now. "You're doing the right thing. Get naked. And..." he stepped closer to the small dining table with its matching chairs, reclined on one and crossed his legs so that his right hi-top sneaker was off the carpet and proffered to him. "Worship this."

"W... worship it?" asked Wolf hesitantly. The sight of the blue Clouded Leopard, suddenly so deliciously arrogant, was very hot and all but he found himself caught between wanting to fuck and wanting to escape.

He couldn't stand to lose face. He couldn't stand to bear his sexual soul.

That proffered sneaker looked awfully inviting.

"Kneel." It was an order.
