The large doors blast open as the intruder steps into the final chamber. Despite the trials she and her friends have faced, she finally finds herself here--the end of the line in Estrasa's tower.

The Dark Sorceress herself sits upon a throne, draped in dark robes and in her humanoid form. With her cheek resting in her hand and her legs dangling off of the side of the throne, this Dark Queen looks bored, despite the defeat of her most celebrated champions, despite the ruination of her great empire.

Tik Tik herself is silent as she stands there, holding her book close to her chest.

"Tik Tik," Estrasa's voice echoes in draconic throughout the chamber. "That's a pretty name, you know that?"

Tik Tik hisses in response and says. "You've hurt so many for no reason. Not even for knowledge. Why?"

"You and I are similar, Tik Tik," the sorceress says, slowly pulling her legs down from over the arm and sitting up straight. She pushes herself up, and as she does, her cloak becomes heavier as her form shrinks down. Black and purple scales fall over her body, and she develops a long tail that pokes out, dragging along the ground. As she steps onto the floor, she is no longer a strange humanoid, but a kobold. Her scales shine even in the darkness with an eerie glow, like treasure in the tunnels of the Dragon's Heir. "How many have you experimented with once you discovered your power? How many of those so-called friends of yours are just your puppets? Pawns in your story?

Tik Tik's nose scrunches up. "That's different," Tik Tik says. "I care about my friends, but you-"

"What? You don't think I care about my creations?" Estrasa says. "You've done me a great disservice, 'retiring' many of them today. They enjoyed their new lives under my leadership. Do you think me some horrible hive mind like that Lily Nymph? No, my power comes from unleashing one's inner beast, making them have their full potential that nature never would let them have. You've seen it with Adaeze. You'll see it with yourself" she rolls her robes over her, letting them fall and allowing Tik Tik to see her kobold form in all its glory. Despite not being much taller than Tik Tik herself, the allure of this creature is strong. "Just give in to your curiosity, Tik Tik. Give in, and give me that book..

"Why should I give you my book?" Tik Tik asks, squeezing it close.

The kobold form smirks as she scratches her chin, one hand upon her hip. "Oh, you'd love to know that, wouldn't you? You see, you were meant to bring it to me, Tik Tik. It's as simple as that. Just like my little models, you were just another doll, playing her part in a game developed by me and another.

Tik Tik frowns. "W... what?"

I am but one half of the coin, Tik Tik. For every heads, there is a tails, and the writer of that book, Straiesha, a grand sorceress in her own right, wanted to best me. She thought she could hide by putting her magical power within a tome, locked away by the key of her spirit. Why do you think you've been able to read it so easily? Why do you think the book is your own? It's because you were born with Straiesha's magic in your very soul, and her soul continues on in that half-dragon you call a queen. Everything in your life has been leading up to this moment and-"

"Excuse me," Tik Tik asks, raising her hand.

The Dark Queen stops her pontificating a moment to stare at the kobold. "How dare you stop me reducing your life to a meaningless ga-"

"What if I don't care about any of that."

"You... you what?"

"I just want to learn more so I can help my tribe," Tik Tik says. "And I've already learned so much.I do not like what you did to get to me. Did you think I would become some virtuous hero who would want to stop you?. I was given a special edge? But I'm a wizard, not a sorceress. What? Did Straiesha give me a bigger brain and a smaller body? No one in Dragon's Heir knows who their parents are. No one cares whose bloodline one has. We are all kobolds. The only one who is truly special is our queen, and she asked me something very specific, and now I have the answer to the question she trusted me with.

The sorceress blinks a moment, but then she looks down upon Tik Tik, holding her hand by the side of her mouth and laughing with great gusto. "Oooh, hoohoho, you are trying to trick me into thinking you are not some great hero, come to vanquish my evil ways and-"

"Nope," Tik Tik says, shaking her head. "You hurt my friends so I could hurt you. Why should I play into your game, even if I could?"

Estrasa looks from side to side. "Oh, wait, come on. I established all this stuff just to fulfill everything Straiesha and I started. You are the inheritor of her spirit, little kobold, does that mean nothing to you? She chose her egg to put her magical potential within and-

Tik Tik scribbles some notes in her book.

"What in the world are you writing down, now? At a time like this!"

Tik Tik sighs and closes the book, shaking her head. "Sorry I noticed it as soon as I step foot into your tower that all your defenses, all your planning were all a grand display, using others' lives like they were just the subjects written in this book. This is nothing but a roleplay to you, and I don't intend to play."

The dark sorceress grinds her teeth at Tik Tik's assertion. "What are you saying, you pathetic little creature? You... don't wish to have a climactic encounter with me? To test your eromancy against my own in the most explosive sex in your entire life?"

Tik Tik shakes her head. "Nope. I came here because you're a bad lady messing with me, but all I'm interested in is learning what I can, and, well, I've learned all I could from this book." She sighs and loosens her grip.

Before the two spellcasters, the book collapses with a deafening thud. It's pages open up to one of the many passages of magic and sex.

"Y... you would dare defile..."

"Just what is this book, anyway?" Tik Tik asks, plopping down in front of it. "It is a treasure, and as a kobold, I enjoy treasure, but only the dumbest of kobolds would ever hold onto cursed relics." She presses her fingers to the page. "Heh... I must have missed this passage." The little wizard slides the book over the smooth floor. It stops right at the kobold sorceress's clawed feet.

Estrasa scoops up the book hungrily, reading through the passage with frantic hunger in her eyes. Tik Tik yawns as the sorceress works through it. "I... this is... Straiesha's...?"

Tik Tik shrugs. "I hope you enjoy, Dark Queen. I'm going to go back to my home and write my own book, and I'm not going to let some stupid preordained nonsense get in my way."

"So, you defy me the hero I wish to have to face me. None others have made it to my chamber but you, and you think you can just walk away...?"

The Dark Queen disappears, only to reappear right in front of Tik Tik, the book suspended by dark magic. She grabs the kobold by the horn and pulls her head in close up against her body, right there in her slit. "Little Tik Tik. You've come a long way and learned so many new things. Don't you at least want to try them out?"

Tik Tik keeps her mouth closed the whole time, and Estrasa clicks her tongue as she watches the kobold. "What's the matter? Don't you know that all of your friends are experiencing such delights that I can show you--delights you've been seeking for so long? Come on and let me show you what you can learn."

Tik Tik opens her mouth. She closes her eyes and breathes out a deep hot breath.

Estrasa's eyes flutter as she feels that breath, but then Tik Tik inhales and reaches up, pressing a hand against the kobold sorceress's side. Tik Tik then leans in, pressing her cheek up against Estrasa's stomach.

"What are you doing?" The sorceress asks, a sharp hiss in her voice. "You're supposed to be eating me out, you ungrateful little child!"

"Am I the child, here?" Tik Tik asks, wrapping both arms around the Sorceress. "Or are you the one being childish?" She looks up to Estrasa, her blue eyes large and pleading. "I know a trap when I see one, and I can sense this one, even in a deep and dark cavern. Estrasa... not everything has to be about sex."

Estrasa throws the pink kobold back and takes a few steps away. "You... you hypocrite. All the friends made here, all the partners you've acquired. I know you are a being who craves the touch of others. To say that sex isn't everything... that would make you the largest hypocrite in the world!"

Tik Tik stands up and embraces Estrasa with a warmth that wasn't there before. The black-scaled kobold freezes in shock at the contact. "What are you doing, you stupid, stupid girl!?"

Tik Tik presses her nose against Estrasa's and rubs. "My quest wasn't to find sex. We already had it in the Dragon's Heir. My quest was to find a way that would make all people happy and not make sex a chore. But you... you take no happiness from pleasure. All your monsters feel it, but that's because you've changed them so that is what they want. You haven't felt true pleasure yourself, with your real self, in a long time. I've seen what you've made this place to be. I've heard the stories that were told in the creation of each of your creatures. Estrasa... you're addicted. To your power, to your desires...."

Estrasa's eyes flare up with crimson fury. With a mighty shout, she sends a shockwave of magical energy out, making Tik Tik roll back from her. "I was a fool to place my desires on a stupid little kobold like you!" As she continues to speak, her form shifts back to the dark and seductive femme fatale. She steps forward with clicking claws to the padding of feet, looking down at the kobold who lays there, stunned by her power. She steps on the kobold's cheek and looks down at her with a sneer. "If you won't play the game by my rules, I'll just have to change the rules. I'll transform you into such a beautiful beast and then you'll give me exactly what I've been seeking!"

Estrasa licks her lips as she raises her finger. A dark nexus of energy swirls around it as she points to the kobold. "Now, then... do you have any last words before I transform you?"

The next words that Tik Tik speaks are not directed to Estrasa, but rather come from a place within her of magical power. Upon hearing the secret phrase encoded into the book's very pages, the tome explodes into a violent light of air, water, earth, and fire.

Estrasa is sent hurtling back, leaving black splotches upon the floor where her body makes contact. She groans, slowly pushing herself up. "A... A security measure? The Author...?"

"The author put it in and only the true owner can put the book back together again. That's me." Tik Tik says this, poking her chest. "Now, you have nothing to bargain. I have all the pieces.

"You... little rat!" The sorceress snarls, her teeth becoming sharp as daggers, her eyes glowing red and terrible. "I've set everything up for this moment. You would not only deny me my final encounter, but also the book that would grant me the ultimate control?" She raises her hand, her arm lashing out as a long tentacle and wrapping around Tik Tik's neck. "Do you realize how much of myself I sacrificed to provide the ultimate conclusion, the greatest climax?"

She stands up, her form wobbling even as she takes a few steps forward towards Tik Tik. "The elementals that make the book are nothing to my power. I can make them bow to me and reveal to me their secrets. You've only delayed my satisfaction, which only makes it all the sweeter!"

Tik Tik claws at the tentacle, gasping for breath as she stares off to the four elementals standing behind them. "Y... you don't..." she coughs as she's dragged off toward the sorceress.

"Oh, what's that, little kobold? A reader of words and you can't say any right now? How tragic." Her other hand becomes a terrible claw, and with it,she rips the kobold's outfit, holding her up. "I will have my final victory against you and all your friends, and it will taste, so, so sweet..." she snickers as she smiles all-too-wide, her tongue wriggling out as she leans in closer to the kobold.

Tik Tik croaks out as she looks back. With all of her might, she uses the last of her breath to shout out towards the four sentinels of the magical tome. "You! Are! Free!"

The elementals look at each other, and then to the two women in the center of the room. The earth sinks back into the ground. The water splashes apart. The wind wisps away into nothingness. The fire, however, remains.

"No... NO!" The sorceress shouts, throws the kobold aside, Tik Tik skidding across the floor a bit.

"Come back!" she cries "I shall be your mistress! Don't leave me!"

The fire elemental stands there before her, unmoving.

"Wait... you haven't left. Not like the others. Please... you must stay. I need you. I need all of you!" She falls to her knees before the elemental, her hands up as if a child wanting to be lifted by a parent.

The fire turns its head down towards her, but it fizzles out, disappearing forever when it is just out of her grasp.

"No..." the sorceress whispers, her misshapen hands cupping her face. Sobs rise up from the darkness, echoing through the room.

Tik Tik pushes herself up and bundles her outfit around her body. She frowns as she stares at the desperate form before her. She says nothing as she walks on past her, keeping one eye on the disgraced queen.

Just as Tik Tik makes it to the door, she's swept off her feet once more. This time, Estrasa stands before her, the Sorceress's skin pale as snow and hair a frosty golden hue. Her hand crackles with magical energy as she dangles the kobold. Tik Tik's head goes between snapping from one Estrasa to the other, her mouth wide open.

"Sorry about that little blubbering mess, little Kobold," the sorceress says. "But did you honestly think I was going to run this empire by myself? Well, I mean, technically, I did, but still..." With that, the new Estrasa taps Tik TIk on the temple, and all goes dark for the kobold.
