#3 of Cherry

This was for a writing challenge in a Telegram group I joined (link here if you're interested: https://t.me/joinchat/CPoeZhclggenrOEh0yYwvg). In under a thousand words, we would write a short story fitting a chosen theme. 'Where do we go from here?' was this week's theme.

This is a sequel to "Cherry" and "Truth", so I'd recommend reading them beforehand. I'm proud of this one, since I get a name to my assassin. Enjoy! :-)

Rising from our seats, Cherry and I exited the movie theater. A few thrilled moviegoers passed by us out into the lobby, and as we departed into the bustling street, the ocelot couldn't stop talking animatedly. The young feline didn't just like action films but loved them.

"Remember when Jacob caught up to those goons on the motorcycle? I could feel his rage in my seat! And when he made their cars collide like dominoes? That was fucking awesome! But not as cool as that time he used a sword to take out an army in that warehouse..."

The film we saw was "Jacob Candle 4: Payback", about a lone assassin trying to save the world multiple times. This one involved his longtime girlfriend being killed, and him exacting vengeance on her murderers.

My thoughts were interrupted when Cherry cleared his throat. "Hm?"

"So..." he chirped, tail wagging enthusiastically behind him, "what'd you think of the movie? Pretty cool, right?"

"Eh," I shrugged, "I found it...ridiculous."

"Come on, it was great, and you know it!" he snarled in an annoyed manner. "I've been waiting a long time for this to come out, and my date tells me it is 'ridiculous'?"

A momentary blush began forming under my cheeks, but I forced it to recede.

"No assassin I've met would hire him," I apologized. "Remember when Jacob Candle interrogated that bear and then killed him when he got the information?"

"Yeah?" Cherry raised an eyebrow. "What did he do wrong though?"

"He left his fingerprints on the gun and walked out of the warehouse onto a crowded street. No doubt the police would have his DNA too, after spitting in the bear's muzzle. Sloppy. And don't even get me started on him not wearing a mask the entire time. And frankly, his way of torture is mediocre to what I--"

The excitable ocelot beside me lightly smacked my shoulder. "You're ruining it for me!"

Laughing shortly, my tail began wagging against his thigh.

"Admittedly," I confessed and smirked, "the best part wasn't even in the movie."

The ocelot mirrored my grin. We were both happy we got the back row to ourselves, and that everyone was distracted by the trailers enough for Cherry to suck me off without noticing.

"Agreed." He licked his lips. "You were very tasty."

This felt weird. After four months of regularly hiring him, whether I was killing a target in Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Moscow or Tokyo, Cherry rarely left my thoughts. I'd find myself thinking about the young ocelot on more than several occasions in my hotel rooms, wondering about him back home.

_ Where is he? Is the kid safe? Who is fucking him?_

That particular question always made my stomach drop. I hated to admit it, but I recognized what I was feeling in my chest. It felt reminiscent of another life, back when the consequences of your actions didn't result in carnage. It scared me.

When I arrived from my trip, I had decided to distance myself from the ocelot. Before I could enact the plan, however, Cherry appeared outside my apartment.

"The newest "John Candle" is in theaters! Wanna go see it with me?" Unable to find a chance to object or rush past him, I found myself nodding for the eager ocelot. "Great! Come on then, I've got a surprise for you once the trailers start."

Presently, we neared his motel not far from the theater, the entire area surrounded by different restaurants. My memories of the future were further fueled when I saw two males--a tiger and a Doberman--sharing a kiss at their table. I immediately frowned, which Cherry unfortunately noticed.

"Is something wrong?" he asked. When I didn't answer, he surprised me again by coming to a halt. "Hey, can we talk for a moment? In my room?"

"Sure," I replied after a moment.

Once he said hello to the receptionist, we entered Cherry's motel room near the back, a modestly sized place one-quarter the size of my penthouse. Clothes, pizza boxes and some lingerie littered the room, a few of which I recognized him wearing. What caught my attention though were the lube and boxes of condoms by his nightstands, but I looked away to find the ocelot sheepishly sitting on his double bed.

"So, welcome to my humble abode," he chuckled nervously, despite his folded ears. "Look, can I be honest with you? These...past several months have been, fuck, they've been incredible. It isn't just the sex though. I..." He whimpered and eventually sighed. "I think I really like you. And I think you do too."

I sat beside him and stared forward, unable to look him in the eye.

"How?"

"Because," Cherry giggled, "you haven't been paying me for our time together, and I haven't objected. That's how I know."

I couldn't say a single world. Everything he said was correct, and that alien sensation I hadn't felt in years started expanding. My arms soon enough trembled.

"Where..." I murmured to him and myself, "Where do we go from here?"

The question hung heavily in the air.

"Well," Cherry placed a paw on my shoulder, "I don't even know your name."

I couldn't say anything. Understanding this, Cherry pulled me onto the bed to start shedding our clothes. His tender fingers played with my zipper, then my buttoned pants before my erect knot sprung free. I groaned at his firm strokes, basking down at the ocelot's slender body. I felt that ecstasy rising.

However, right as his tongue touched the tip of my cock, I yelped, "Markus Avallach!"

Cherry raised his muzzle. "Huh?"

Panting and yearning, I did the second thing I thought I'd never do: I kissed him.

Passionately.

By the time we pulled back for oxygen, Cherry deliriously smiled. I did too.

"Well then, Markus Avallach," he licked his lips, "I can't wait for our next date. But first..." My ocelot lowered his muzzle, pulling us back into that blossoming ecstasy.
