?The sun filtered through the various cracks and crannies of the ruins located at the Lake of the Sunne on Ula'ula Island. The structure had managed to withstand the test of time to a degree, even if it did appear to be a shadow of its former self. Even with that, it didn't stop a pair of trainers from travelling into it, eager to see just what secrets it held if it had anything to hide. Plus if they were lucky, they might come across some Pokémon.

"I wonder how long this place has been standing for?" Peter asked his friend, shining a light ahead of them as they travelled through one of the corridors that the sunlight wasn't penetrating.

"Who knows?" Shohei shrugged, following close behind. "It's been here almost as long as this island has existed, according to most legends!"

"I'd believe that!" Peter nodded, their footsteps echoing throughout the ruins. They hadn't seen any Pokémon yet, but considering that the tunnel was seemingly leading them underwater, it was probably a good thing - a flooded tunnel would put an end to their exploring, after all. "I'm just surprised the tunnels have held up so well, you'd think they'd be the first to go!"

"I wouldn't tempt fate, dude!" Shohei chuckled nervously, continuing to walk on downwards until they reached a large set of stairs. "Looks like the only way to go is up!"

They made their way upwards, noticing that light was starting to filter on through once again, but this time it wasn't from cracks in the walls - rather, it was coming from the end of the tunnel, a clear sign that they were on the right track. They could feel a cool breeze coming from the exit, as if welcoming them outside. When they stepped out into the light, they were totally taken back by what they saw.

"Woah..." Peter looked on in wide-eyed awe - they were standing upon a small, isolated island, held aloft by seemingly nothing aside from the metal structures that were spread around the sides, alongside a few other tunnels. They couldn't see it, but below them was a giant crater, the water rushing down into the deep abyss. "Look at this place..."

"Indeed... now this really is something else!" Shohei took a look around him, taking in the sights. There didn't seem to be anything of value around here, but some would say that the scenery was a treasure all in itself. Taking another look, something did catch his eye, a lone statue in the middle of the island. The duo made their way towards it to get a closer look.

In the center, on what appeared to be an altar, was a large sculpture of Solgaleo, the Legendary Pokémon who was said to be the embodiment of the sun itself, a powerful-looking leonine beast. In front of it was a single pedestal, atop of which sat a Poké Ball.

"Hey, look at this!" Peter stepped closer, taking a look at the Poké Ball. "Who'd leave a Poké Ball out here?"

"Not a single clue..." Shohei commented.

"Do you think that a Pokémon might be inside it? It could even contain a Solgaleo, for all we know!"

"Or a Lunala, if it were that way inclined!"

"Having either of those two Pokémon would be awesome!" Peter grinned, reaching out for it alongside Shohei. "Long as it doesn't have a problem with having two trainers looking after it instead of one!"

"I'd say it'd be a little bit tricky, having a Legendary of all Pokémon responding to a duo of trainers instead of a single, but hey, it might adapt to it quickly!" He added in, grasping it at the same time as Peter. As they held it, the ball started glowing, a red light emanating from it.

"Huh?" They exclaimed, watching in confusion as the light shone brighter and brighter, soon enveloping them both. In a flash, they were drawn inside of the Poké Ball, the light dying down as quickly as it started, leaving the altar area empty, barring the ball.

"Woah... what on earth just happened?" Peter asked, taking a look around himself. "And an even better question - WHERE on earth are we now?"

"Is this what the inside of a Poké Ball is like?" Shohei pondered - it was indeed quite spacious, if a bit empty at the same time.

"Heh... I was starting to wonder when I'd receive some company..." A voice echoed around them, taking them further by surprise. "It has been lonely these past few decades!"

"Dude, there's another person in here?!" Peter exclaimed.

"There's someone else in here, yes, but a human I am not..." The voice added, the sound of footsteps approaching the two of them as they looked forwards, nearly falling back in shock. Standing right before their eyes was the legendary beast of the sun, Solgaleo, standing at the very least twice their size.

"H...holy..." They gulped - with how big he was, he looked like he could send them both flying with a single swipe of his paw.

"Relax, my friends, I'm not going to do you any harm!" His mouth moved as he spoke, surprising them further - there were some known examples of Pokémon being able to talk, but that was mostly through telepathy. "I'm just excited to finally have some company after what feels like an eternity!"

"Er..." Peter stepped forwards. "No offence, but I kinda find it hard to believe that a Pokémon such as yourself, or ANY Pokémon for that matter, would allow themselves to sit in wait in their Poké Ball in the hopes that someone might find them - I'm honestly surprised that you haven't starved to death in all this time!"

"Oh I've let myself out on occasion to get some food and bask in the sunlight, but I've been awaiting the day a human would actually take note of the Poké Ball and lay their hands on it. I've seen others approach it, but they've never attempted to take it. And now, after waiting all this time, I've got TWO humans in here with me!"

"Well..." Shohei blinked. "I'm glad we could make your acquaintance, but I don't think the two of us are gonna be able to live in here... I'm still questioning how we were sucked in here in the first place! Poké Balls don't work like that!"

"My ball is quite special, designed to be able to encapsulate humans temporarily. You'll be freed once my business with you is finished."

"What... business?"

"The business of your ascension." He seemed to smirk. "The humans who I call upon are transformed, and in turn become guardians of Alola, infused with my power."

"Guardians of... Alola?" Peter tilted his head, confused. "I thought the Tapu were the Alolan guardians?"

"They are, but even then it never hurts to have some extra help here and there." The beast purred. "I can see it within the two of you... steely determination and blazing passion."

"Err..." Peter wasn't sure of what to say in response. "I know I'm not really one to give up easily, but I wouldn't say my determination was 'steely'."

"You're selling yourself short..." Solgaleo chuckled. "I know that the two of you will make for perfect guardians, once you've been changed, of course."

"And what are you gonna turn us into?" Shohei asked.

"Pokémon that best fit those descriptions." The Pokémon said, looking at them intently, flames flickering around his paws. The flames soon spread, encircling the two humans. "You'll see soon enough, but I know neither of you will be disappointed!"

Peter looked on, slightly worried that the fire might end up spreading to his clothes, but to his surprise, whilst the flames did burn fiercely around him, they were causing no harm - instead, they filled him with a gentle warmth. Shohei watched as well, the flames completely enveloping the duo.

"Hey... this doesn't feel too bad at all!" The silver-haired youth commented, feeling the flames around him. At that point, he noticed his clothes were burning away alongside his friends', leaving the two of them nude. As the clothing vanished, they could see the first signs that something was happening to them. Along Peter's hands, black fur was beginning to grow over them, whilst the skin on Shohei's hands and wrists dried up and hardened, gaining a brownish color. Their fingers simultaneously thickened up, sharpened claws growing from their fingertips, whilst Peter's hands also gained a sharp metal spike on the back of each one, the palms puffing outwards into pads.

"The two of you will be quite different in comparison to standard Pokémon, I will warn you now~" Solgaleo told them, the dark fur stopping around Peter's wrists, changing to a slightly lighter shade of black that moved up his arms. A pins-and-needles sensation filled Shohei's arms as fiery red plumage sprouted, covering the limbs up to his shoulders. At that point, they were able to figure out just what Pokémon he was turning them into - a Lucario and a Blaziken, respectively. And whilst Shohei was trying to figure out how different he'd look, noticing the different fur color on Peter's arms, he didn't have to think for too long, their arms becoming thicker, biceps bulging, raw strength filling them.

"Mmfh!" Peter stifled a moan as he saw his arms thicken, grey fur now working its way along his front, back and sides. The feeling of power was leaving him more than just a little bit excited, his cock hardening, bobbing up and down. "Is it meant to feel this good?" He asked. "Cause it's making me feel kinda horny..."

"Some arousal is to be expected - be lucky you've got someone to share it with!" The lion gestured towards Shohei, who was equally hard, broad, creamy feathers growing along his torso in a similar manner.

"Hehe... at least it's in private, so we've got nothing to be ashamed aboooooooohh!" Peter trembled as a powerful wave of energy rocked his body, bringing him to orgasm, spraying the ground with his seed. Shohei joined him almost immediately, their bodies growing steadily taller, their pecs and abdominal muscles becoming sculpted, proudly on display underneath Peter's fur and Shohei's spreading feathers, a patch of yellow appearing on Shohei's front, soon shifting back to red as they travelled downwards.

"Indeed, so if you wish to have some fun with your friend, I won't judge you for it~" Solgaleo teased, as if trying to deliberately drive on their growing lusts, a solid metal spike poking free between Peter's pectorals.

"Rhhccaarrr..." Peter huffed, taking a look over Shohei. "That doesn't sound like a bad idea, actually. I mean we've been friends for so long, I think it's only natural we take it to the next level~" He grinned, his spine stretching, making him taller still, all while a long, slender tail worked its way out from above his rear, wagging behind him. In a similar fashion, thick feathers grew in around Shohei's rump, giving him a shorter tail.

"Sounds like someone's getting just a teensy bit amorous..." Shohei smirked, turning to face his friend. As he did, his shaft fired off, a thick rope of cum splattering against his friend's feet. He chuckled, watching it grow slowly bigger, the head growing into a tapered point, the flesh turning a bright shade of pink whilst the foreskin pulled back to the base of his cock, balls doubling in size as he looked over it. As that happened, Peter's own cock grew far larger, the flesh taking on a deep-red hue, his shaft gaining a heavily canine appearance with a pointed head and bulbous knot, a furry sheath growing around the base and his now watermelon-sized balls.

"What can I say, he's right!" Peter grinned. "We should have ourselves some fun, what do you say?" He placed a beefy paw on Shohei's shoulder, looking into his eyes. Their legs were bulking up, covering in fur and feathers respectively. The fur around Peter's lower legs turned pitch-black like his hands, feet stretching and popping, pressure shifting to the balls of his feet. Heels shifted upwards, soles puffing out into paws whilst the middle toes merged into one, the remaining digits swelling larger, sharpened claws growing out.

"Blaaaazzz..." Shohei couldn't help but grin as well, turning away from Peter. "Since that's how you feel, then why not show me just how good you are?" His feet dug into the ground, thick yellow feathers growing from the shins downwards, growing outwards, almost fully covering his feet. Under the feathers, the skin from the knees downwards flaked away, revealing brown scales like on his hands and wrists. The toes splayed and merged together, five digits reduced to two, a third sprouting from his heels as deadly curving talons tipped his toes, the new claws looking dangerous enough to cause serious damage.

"Rrrriiioooo... is that a challenge?" Peter huffed, wrapping an arm around Shohei's waist, pulling him close against him. The duo were surprised by his new strength, but in a good way, Peter guiding his bestial cock deep into Shohei's ass.

"ZZZIIKENNN!!" Shohei cawed, trying to break free of his friend's grip, as if trying to make him work for it, but it seemed impossible for now. Instead he smirked, grinding against his pal's dick, the creamy feathers now working their way up his neck, merging with his hair as they grew broader, fanning out behind him. His mouth went numb, his face covering in hard red scales, teeth fusing together into a pair of solid red masses that pushed free past his mouth, a sharp, hooked beak growing out, alongside a pair of horn-like growths that jutted out past his eyes, his nose merging with his new beak. To end his transformation, his eyes moved towards the sides of his head, the sclera turning a feral yellow, irises turning a vibrant blue.

"Luuucarrrrr...." Peter thrusted harder, almost tempted to pin Shohei down to the ground, the dominant urges rising. The black fur raced its way up his neck and head, his ears twitching as they grew into large points, moving to sit atop his head, his hair thinning and bunching together, forming a large pair of 'sensors'. The darker black fur grew around his head and eyes, forming a mask of sorts whilst the lighter fur grew elsewhere, nose sinking into his upper jaw whilst they pushed outwards into an angular jackal-like muzzle, teeth growing into serrated fangs. To end his changes, his eyes moved towards the sides of his head, the sclera turning pitch-black and the irises turning crimson, pupils pulling into thin slits.

The Solgaleo watched onwards, content with his work as the two new Pokémon moaned and cried in lust, the beefy Shadow Lucario screwing the buff Blaziken into near-submission, balls slapping against his feathered rump. Soon enough the two beasts could hold back no longer, roaring to the heavens as they came, Shohei's seed pooling on the ground around them as Peter filled the fiery bird with all that he had.

"Mmmm..." Solgaleo smiled, stepping closer as their orgasms died down. "And with that, the birth of a pair of new Alolan guardians is complete!" He purred. "You shall now be known as Hadou..." He pointed to Peter at first. "... whilst you will be known as Guren!" He gestured to Shohei. "Fitting names for guardians such as yourselves!"

"I dunno, it might take a little bit of getting used to those new names~" Hadou teased, pulling out of Guren, helping the Blaziken to his feet.

"I'm sure they'll stick quicker than you think. As for now, I think it's time you returned to the outside world. Just don't forget to bring the Poké Ball with you!" Solgaleo said before letting loose a powerful roar, everything around the duo fading to white...

"Mmmph..." Hadou groaned, momentarily blinded by the light before it all settled down. Once everything was clear, they noticed that they were back in the outside world, however, nighttime had fallen. "Heh... must have been in there for quite some time!"

"You'll find that the passage of time works differently within the confines of my special ball!" They heard Solgaleo's voice call to them from the Poké Ball. "I was going to have you stick around for some training, but I felt that it could wait for another day or so. I'm sure you'd want to get some food and get to grips with your new powers yourselves before we get down to the actual training - what might take hours or days within here could take weeks or months on the outside!"

"Sheesh, did Dialga and Palkia make your Poké Ball or something?" Guren chuckled.

"You'd be surprised to find that they did play a small part in that, but that's a tale for another time, my friends." He said in a playful tone. "For now, why don't you get back to civilisation? It'd be nice to be able to stretch my legs in a different area as well!"

"Gotcha!" Hadou nodded, taking Solgaleo's Poké Ball in his paw. "Of course people might start asking questions about us, given we're not human anymore~" He teased.

"I wouldn't worry too much about that, just having me with you will explain a lot, trust me!" Solgaleo purred.

"Why don't we go take him to get some food?" Guren asked. "I know a great buffet place back on the main island!"

"By all means, Guren, lead the way!" Hadou laughed, giving Guren a playful slap on the rear.

"Ziiiken... careful now, Hadou, or we may end up stopping for round two before we get to eat!" Guren joked, picking his gear back up as the two of them made their way towards the exit, eager to get some food in them.
