"God, this is like something out of a horror movie or comic book..." Ivanks commented, looking around him. According to news reports earlier on in the day, an experimental batch of an unknown gas that had been worked on in some kind of scientific research lab had leaked during transport from one lab to another, and it was reported that those who had been exposed to the gas had rapidly transformed into monstrous lizards. Attempts to quarantine the area swiftly failed, and the swarm of scaly beasts was growing out of control. Several hundred humans had already succumbed to the effects of the gas, and even if they hadn't, it had been noted that some of the transformations happened after several victims were either scratched or bitten. Given how the two of them were in an area where the gas had been transported through, quite a few people had transformed due to the effect of it, though luckily enough it seemed that nothing had happened to them. "Though I have to wonder... " Yiyi paused. "With all the lizards around, how have there been no casualties?"
