Drayden's Lucky Call
#11 of Just a Series of Things
This came to mind when I gathered the courage to dive into a deep story-the start of others to come.
Mayor Drayden...or rather, just Drayden... shielded himself against the night breeze as he stood outside in the chilly night. The great city of Opelucid was nothing more than a technological ghost town by the time the sun fell and all who patrolled the streets were Pokemon. Humans were rare and with good reason.
You see, Pokerus was always thought to be a harmless virus that only existed to help Pokemon grow when they train and stayed that way. But like most viruses, it adapted and mutated and went from being contracted by only Pokemon to being contractible by humans ...and let's just say no one was prepared for it. With it airborne, almost everyone that went about their daily lives-women, men, children-perished within weeks from rapid organ failure. The lucky ones were those who already had a Pokemon on their team with Pokerus and thus exposed to the lesser strain that didn't render a human's body inactive from the inside.
Drayden had hoped he'd perish with the hundreds that fell to the ground when he stepped out onto the streets of twitching bodies and watched the news with an already dead reporter on the screen glitching in and out as the camera fluctuated with functionality, but no. Poor Iris perished in his arms and he was left alone to wander Opelucid in its former glory.
Though, the new strain of Pokerus didn't just off humans. It made Pokemon better. Gone were the primitive minds of wild species inhabiting the outside world of the various regions, and instead sentient presences took over where humans had left off and developed into something far more advanced than what they could achieve. Alakazam were left to prosper and help build new settlements for the various species to live and grow, Rhyperior tore down the structures that hindered said growth and allowed nature to reclaim the space left behind so there was still a natural feel to living in a domesticated area, and Camerupt mowed the way to a more Pokemon-esque living hood by molding the streets into what they are today. Oddly enough, man made Pokemon escaped the benefits and consequences of the new Pokerus so they were left unperturbed.
But there were other things that these changes did.
Drayden had been shocked out of his stupor when a car approached him where he stood. He'd been there all night under a street light, so he was clear as day to anybody but only this vehicle had been there to do something about it. Once it came to a stop, the passenger side was rolled down and the driver was the only occupant to speak.
"Get in." Drayden bit back a word of oppression and simply followed suit, taking in the vast difference in temperature from the nippy outside to the lukewarm interior of the suave vehicle he was now seated in. The driver left the scene and it was just a matter of where to worry about.
Some minutes passed and Drayden continued to look out the window to his right, silent as a feather hitting the ground before being blown away by the wind. He could hear the driver looking over at him and watching those razor tusks move around in his direction before watching the road again in the dim but visible reflection. It got a point where it was obvious that the driver was itching to say something and Drayden broke the ice.
"What is it...?"
"Rather snappy, are we?" The old mayor glared at the driver and looked back towards the passing outside.
"It's not everyday you're forced to be homeless and being picked up by your old partner in the middle of the night being taken to god knows where, so I have a little venom in my heart, Haxorus."
"I go by Leonardo now, Drayden. You'll learn to keep to that level of respect or I'll just start calling you human."
"Hmph. Leonardo, where are you taking me?"
"Like I told you earlier after I had to go to settle a dispute, I'm taking you somewhere you won't feel like a future victim to show up on the news."
"I thought I made it clear to you that I welcome death."
"And I made it clear to you that I have more uses for you than to be a reminder of our past."
Their petty squabble filled up the remainder of the time it took to reach this undisclosed destination that the Haxorus didn't feel too keen on revealing up until he pulled to a stop in front of it.
Route 10 had been shut down due to a landslide caused by Team Plasma's actions in their attempts to take over the region with the powers of legends, and thus it had been untamed land for a good several years and served as a marker to Opelucid citizens that had the evil scoundrels succeeded in their plans then the whole city would be destroyed and buried under mountain debris. Now, the entrance to the once locally renown route was an intricately designed manor designed clearly to look like Leonardo's face with the way some of the structure fanned out before curving back to look like elevators towards the top floors of the building. The Haxorus gazed upon his home before looking to Drayden who stared at the manor like it were a stain on his tattered shirt.
"My offer still stands, Drayden. You can stop being cold on the streets, stop being fed scraps by young Pokemon and stop feeling like you're the last one left in this world. I still care about you, even if we can no longer be considered partners, but if you keep spitting on my gracious hand I'll just have to start treating you like the rest of your Pokemon did."
Drayden grumbled into his beard and shut his eyes. That day was still part of the Scourge, when Iris perished in his arms as a lifeless husk of dead organs and blood while he was left to deal with both of their teams slowly becoming sapient with each report of mortality rates rising exponentially. They mocked him for mourning her unfortunate demise, making him scorn them for their dismissive regard to their dead trainer and treating her like she had been a barrier for them. His own Pokemon joined in, save for Leonardo, and told him that he should have joined her in perishing with the rest and left him there to wallow. Torn and emotionally devastated by the drastic change in the world.
A tear fell out of his eye and the Haxorus caught it with his claw. The gesture made Drayden get a hold of himself and he sighed.
"Fine. I'll work for you."
"Good. I already have a-"
"But..." The dragon paused as he had just been about to remove the key that let his car start and turned to the white-haired human beside him. He didn't speak, so Drayden continued. "Don't expect me to just accept everything immediately. I'm still ...adapting to being one of the few humans left on this planet...."
Leonardo nodded in understanding and patted his former partner on the shoulder, glad he wasn't met with a rejected flick that'd stop him. "Noted. Like I said, you won't be alone under my wing here and you can finally enjoy the luxury of what the world of Pokemon is like these days."
"Barely any different from how things were before everyone started dying..." Leonardo hadn't caught that bit, having already stepped out of the car and shutting the door behind him before Drayden finally followed suit and exited the passenger side. The more he gazed upon the entrance to Leonardo's lavish residence, the more it reminded him of his old gym setup and seeing the stone dragons stolen from the demolished building being used here as mere statues with as much meaning as a leaf falling down cut even deeper. The Haxorus came up to his side, brought his arm around the human's shoulder and guided him inside before he stalled for any longer.
Pushing through the double doors, Leonardo led Drayden through the torch-lit foyer that lined the way to a staircase at the other end that also held a stone structure of his likeness hanging on the wall. Drayden felt more and more of an outsider with every marker of narcissism from his old partner and as they travelled upstairs he thought his old friend had succumbed to the life of greed that he himself gave up when he became a renown gym leader with all the fancy decor lining the walls and floor. The halls were all lit the same way so it felt like Drayden were taking every step through his Purgatory with the repeated design everywhere. Only when Leonardo brought him to the end of one of his egotistical corridors to a door did the journey end. Drayden didn't need to know what room rested behind there before the dragon opened the way inside.
A king-sized bed with curtains draped on the front and sides of the mattress greeted the human before he saw what looked like a couch to his immediate right and a head dresser with only a mirror to greet any onlooker to the left. There were two more doors to the left and right of the pair, but Leonardo didn't let him tour the rest of the chamber. Instead, the dragon brought him to the middle of the room and shut the door behind them. The *click* of the lock made Drayden's skip a beat or two.
"Tonight, you will bunk with me until I can figure out where to put you. Most of my other workers all have a space to themselves in each of the upper levels and downstairs already so it'll be tough making sure you don't share with someone who ...doesn't have a particular liking to an ex-trainer, if you catch my drift."
"When you put it like that, you make it seem like I have to sleep with you until further notice."
"Now when you put it like that, you make it seem like a good idea." Leonardo chuckled, doing away with his dark green button-down and navy blue trousers until they were unfastened, casually shedding his clothes in front of Drayden while keeping eye contact with the human. When all that remained where a pair of briefs that looked drum-tight with a fit build like his, the dragon gestured towards his old partner.
"I don't mind you wanting to sleep clothed but clothes like that don't look...common."
Drayden held back a snarky reply and looked down at himself. He was dirty, stained with attacks from Pokemon that regarded him like a filthy, house-broken stray Stoutland and wearing clothes that were practically rags tied up to retain some form of decency so he didn't get arrested by Opelucid law enforcement officers. Yes, despite being supposedly more peaceful than humans, Pokemon had a police force for crimes and wrongdoing. Before he took too long being reserved, the man peeled out of his smelly cloth and slowly revealed his body to his former partner. All the exercise and training he did with his team made him look like his prime before the Scourge.
Now that that time was passed, he developed a gut from the lack of training.
Leonardo still gave him a wolf whistle once those overalls hit the floor, shamelessly looking over Drayden like he bought himself some entertainment for the night rather than rescued someone he knew from a life doomed to end. "I gotta say, you still make skin look appealing to the eyes."
"I thought I told you to be subtle with your words about me."
"This is the best I can do, so it's your choice to be offended. Now then, you're definitely not wearing that in my bed, so I'll give you some replacements." Drayden crossed his arms in a way that attempted to hide his body from general view despite it being a crisp temperature in the bedroom they were in while Leonardo went to his dresser and fished out a pair of underwear. Drayden's own were almost as bad as his other clothes, holes almost everywhere and stained from a lack of care.
"I won't look if you still want to have some dignity-even though we've been down that road before." Leonardo's offer was shirked once Drayden took the briefs from him, the human turning away from the dragon to start putting the offered clothes on but got the taller man behind him to make him stop. "Sorry, but you smell. Shower's on your left."
Drayden choked back yet another reply that'd surely have him back in the outside world begging for release from this world where humans were nothing more than a rare encounter and headed for the door near the bed, being greeted to a dark bathroom that-once he found the light switch-showed to have a separate bathtub for baths and a shower stall for showers. It was equipped with towels and the like, so he didn't have to sit around and wonder if he'd be allowed to dry up or have to fend for himself somehow before he shut the door behind him.
While he did that, Leonardo settled back on his bed, feeling a sense of accomplishment run through him just as the shower in the next room began to sputter to life and start its stream onto the tiled floor he was well familiar with. Drayden had been a stubborn catch, always having reasons to reject and deny the dragon's unwavering kindness. Every week, he tried to rope the human here and every attempt prior to this had been nothing but failures that made him snarl whenever he thought of ways he could have executed it better. This time around, he offered an ultimatum. Live with him or die from the approaching winter.
Drayden didn't hurriedly say no then, just standing there as if Leonardo had become Arceus and cast his judgment upon him already, so the dragon had left him to decide on his own and sped off in his sports car. And picking him up to make sure the deal was struck was all it took before they were where they're at now. Leonardo was sure Drayden would come around eventually, but he'll learn that being reclusive wasn't gonna get him anywhere if he wanted to stop living like a Raticate.
The time spent going over today's events had extended over enough to bring Leonardo back to reality to hear the shower being turned off, steam wafting through the cracks of the door and bringing a warmth towards the bed. He ignored it, for the elements were hardly more than a tickle for his scaly hide, and the real prize was Drayen stepping out of the bathroom.
His skin was dried, probably a result of using the towel he was folding up into his hands to discard of before shutting the door behind him. The briefs that Leonardo bestowed him were a snug fit on him and despite himself the dragon licked his lips at the sight of the human's extremities being put on a clothed display for him to stare at.
"Well now, you sure make me wonder if you could ever fit as a clothes model."
Drayden's glare had yet to fade entirely, so it was renewed with the Haxorus' comment. "Let's not toot my horn here. We both know I'm worth dirt in this city."
'You're not dirt to me."
"Bias doesn't fix my view."
"Just get in the damn bed."
The dragon snapping at him got the human in gear, reluctantly settling down on the plush mattress decorated in so much luxury he ought to be sick. While he didn't get the urge to heave bile from that, it came back when Leonardo sat up and hugged Drayden to his chest. Before long, he felt that tongue skate up his temple and a shudder ran through him like a misguided Thunderbolt.
"No matter what you think, you're still the man I spent my whole life being strong with. And now you're going to be the man that helps keep my life stable while I deal with publicity. And desire." That last bit had been whispered into Drayden's ear and his disgust rose again, but he had to swallow up his pride for good. This was his only chance to stop feeling as if Pokerus took the wrong Dragon Gym Leader all that time ago and he better take it unless he wanted to be slain by his old friend.
But Leonardo sure made it hard to feel worthwhile when he was busy squeezing the human's chest with his hands.
"Sleep now. I have a few jobs for you to handle tomorrow and I want you prepared for your official inducting to my manor." Thank god the perverted actions stopped. Drayden got dragged back with Leonardo until they were both on their sides, the dragon expectedly taking to being the big spoon and holding the human tight while he rumbled his way into slumber. Drayden dared see if it was genuine sleep, but once the deep snoring started he gave up to at least attempt catching some Zzz's before he left himself too weary to work.
Humiliation surrounded Drayden as he walked the streets of Opelucid in a dark green-colored mockery of his thrown-away gym leader uniform, feeling the faces who previously scorned his existence and taunted him with the idea of being slain where he pitifully took refuge just ogling his "glow up". His face was no longer dirty and his skin not covered in scars, instead his beard looked to be back in his prime and his body looked to be in tip-top shape.
But mainly, the Pokemon pedestrians were staring at the tie he wore, for Leonardo's likeness was etched into the middle like a badge.
Drayden's final task-after a morning of getting a room ready for himself that was in the attic of the manor-was a simple retrieval, but the destination was far away on foot and the dragon had to go elsewhere so he could not take transportation to make it easier. Even now, sweat began to bead down his form, making the underarm portion of his shirt an even deeper shade while he continued on. He ignored every Altaria with their pointing Swablu children; he ignored the sneering Scrafty surrounded by a Scraggy posse; he ignored the police patrols of Bisharp who shameless strolled next to him as if daring him to do something he shouldn't be doing before they had righteous cause to arrest him; and he ignored the troublemaking Toxicroak spraying graffiti on one of the shop walls nearby. They weren't to be focused on, and should he slip his concentration on the job then there'd be no hope for getting bailed out of a situation.
Along the way, he saw a news report with a human on-screen, Drayden slowing his stride to watch as the Jynx on-camera was steadily relaying to viewers that another human unknown to the system had been found. But Drayden could see clear as day that it was Hilda-one of the trainers from back in the day who wanted to make a name for themselves and conquer the Unova Pokemon League. Back then, she looked rambunctious and motivated to take on any challenge. Now, she looked like she saw death, escaped it and slowly begged for it to return; her face was pale and her eyes were devoid of any life it had shone with as she was shown to be carted off by paramedics. Drayden merely nodded as he continued on, knowing that once upon a time he shared that same look.
His destination was finally visible but he did not speed up his pace, for he was to stay steady and ignore others to keep safe. After crossing the street, he stepped into a tailor shop that was empty save for the Liepard manning the register and a Leavanny in the back room. Both of them looked up from their stations and stared in astonishment but Drayden did not humor their wonder with anything flashy, he only did as directed and went straight to the register to ring the bell. The feline slowly unfurled from a relaxed position and regarded the white-haired man like he was a bum. As expected.
"How can I help you, human?" That purring voice held a malice in it that could bode unwell for Drayden if his tongue slipped.
"I am on a pickup for Leonardo of House Oxidus."
The cat stood up straight and narrowed their eyes at Drayden, as if trying to look for a sign of deceit or a hint of weakness. Unless the feline felt like tearing his shirt open to see that smooth gut he had, they would find nothing that could be exploitable for their cause and their lack of a find was visible in their silent mumbling. "State your name."
"Drayden...of House Oxidus." His old surname had been ripped from his identity, replaced with a title that made him sound more like property than a worker, and Leonardo's elation at being successful at officiating Drayden's residence in his manor had been...off-putting.
"Right...Sam! Dragon's busboy's here for the suit he ordered!" The Liepard shouted to the back, catching the attention of the rather stoic-looking Leavanny. These Pokemon were usually happy that they got to weave clothes for others to use at their leisure or repair what was ruined so the old classics were still available as options, but this one in particular had a look that Drayen was familiar with:
Broken.
The katydid stepped out of the back room and left the plastic-encased blazer and matching trousers on the countertop and retreated into the back room without another word, leaving the feline-whose name was Peter from the name tag on their chest-to ring up Drayden's order.
"That'll be 3800 Poke." Huh, cheaper than Drayden assumed. This currency was so frivolous that it was easy to amass hundreds of thousands back in the day. Now the wealthy must be hoarding every drop they could get their hands on and led to a shift in class even among the Pokemon. Drayden carefully dispensed the cash, being exact as to not rub it into the working Liepard's face that he was in a place where money was hardly an issue. Once the receipt was printed out and rudely ripped out of place to be laid onto the suit, Drayden silently retrieved both and headed for the door. Just as he was about to close it, he saw the two of them staring at his back from the reflection of the door and he only shut his eyes in some form of respect before departing in full.
Now with luggage, he had to be careful with his stride once more so he could deliver this safely to Leonardo's manor. The way back seemed a lot shorter now that he wasn't moving to and fro through a crowd but those that still proved to be a hindrance to his path enough to walk past were still trying to make themselves targets. One of the Scraggy from the earlier display of juvenile activity tried to make him stop so he could be baited into an ambush, but Drayden has suffered enough of those to know how to catch when one was being setup and hastily crossed the street to avoid the rendezvous point for the others involved. The shift from smooth pavement to hexagon-tile made Drayden aware that he was back in the suburbs and in turn heading in the right direction.
During the day, Leonardo's home looked more of a boasting gesture than it did at night with dim lighting hiding the brunt of the effect it had to incoming guests and such. Drayden's arrival to the front door was meant to be silent but with the dragon having other workers on the ground it was hard to just not be a focal point for some when you're the only human in the city and everyone else was a Pokemon. And as far as he bothered to know, the only human in Northern Unova since Hilda was recovered.
As Drayden stepped into the foyer, the torch-lit corridor lit up to let him know that Leonardo was home after leaving him to walk to the tailor, so he used the time it'd take to find his bed chambers to mull over his status.
When the deaths began to scale, he thought that everyone that he knew personally would make it through and all would be somewhat fine. But as each of his friends perished with that deathly expression on their faces ...Brycen...Marlon...Lenora...Skyla...Elesa ...Cheren...Alder ...even N succumbed to the viral destroyer of the new Pokerus and he was left to keep himself from shuffling off the mortal coil through natural means rather than dying from the inside out.
He heard laughter from the room to the master bedroom's right and it sounded just like the Haxorus', so instead of the one he intended to knock on he moved to rap his knuckle on this wooden door. As he thought, things got quiet and the approaching footfalls meant he disturbed something somewhat personal. He hoped he wasn't gonna get chewed out for a simple misunderstanding, but his woes were cut short when it was Leonardo who answered the door.
Gone was the tidy shirt that he had greeted the human to when he had woken the man up from his slumber and instead he was shirtless as he was last night. Sweat beaded down his scales and further inspection as to why was given in the form of workout equipment hiding behind the dragon. So that's how he stays from being chubby.
"What is it?" The dragon's voice was hinted with impatience, so Drayden silently held out the suit he had been asked to recover from the tailor. Leonardo snatched it off of his arm, nearly cutting his skin with those sharp claws and looked the material over carefully. When he saw nothing out of place, he gave it back to Drayden.
"Put it in my room, then stay there. I have to talk to you." Leonardo shut the door on Drayden and he gulped down some shame of seemingly losing his worth to his old friend before he went back to looking at that bed chamber door. Since he knew it was unlocked, he turned the knob and stepped inside.
Just in time to catch what was obviously a maid in the middle of making Leonardo's bed tidy.
The frilly ears and nearly pure white body suggested Audino and once they stood upright and turned towards the door only to freeze in place it was confirmed to be such. She didn't move a muscle, those blue eyes waiting on Drayden to make an offending move to call Leonardo for but only seeing the human stay as stock still as her defeated any way to get him swiftly removed from the room so she could safely work on her own. And thus, she stopped being a mannequin and brushed off her pocket-laden gown.
"Can I help you, human?" That word always attempted to sting Drayden's very being but he didn't break with such ease. He trained with dragons, after all.
"I am here to remain once I deposit this suit somewhere." He held up the ensemble he carried on his arm and the maid harrumphed before walking over to take it herself.
"Master Leonardo really needs to work on the quality of who he hires. Don't think he was supposed to be seeing if the elderly was a viable option for keeping the grounds in ship-shape." What the...? Did she...?
"I'm only 40...." She didn't seem to care much about the number, but rather the look as she laid Leonardo's suit out on his mattress for him.
"Still too old to handle the tasks that Leonardo has yet to give you. I do hope he doesn't plan on having you around for his party."
"Party?" Drayden's ignorance to such an event seemed to lift the Audino's spirits because she sighed in relief.
"Oh thank goodness. The last thing House Oxidus needs is paparazzi thinking we're a museum rather than an established home for Master Leonardo. Listen, just stay out of sight tonight. The guests that are going to be here are going to be the kind that don't see humans as pests but rather ...well, better you don't know or you'll get curious. Anyhow, goodbye. And stay away from the party as I said." Her cheery departure just left Drayden with more questions but thankfully her leaving was followed by Leonardo's arrival and he strolled past Drayden close enough to let him smell the sweat emanating off of his body.
"Have a seat." The dragon pointed to the set of cushions that Drayden only glanced at when they arrived last night so the human dropped down as politely as he could. He took notice to how the biggest one seemed to be built for having someone sitting on it, for it sunk beneath him as he settled down. But he ignored all of that as the Haxorus stood near a window and stared out into the city.
"I assume your co-worker arrogantly disclosed to you that I was to have a get-together tonight?" Gone was the friendly tone that dragged Drayden into this life of indoctrinated servitude, and instead it was the demanding voice of a king that commanded respect with every word. The human didn't even answer, but it looks like Leonardo wasn't waiting for one either. "The party will begin at the crack of dusk, at which point I want you to stay in this room and do not leave for any reason. Do not answer it unless it is one of your co-workers or myself and hide if someone was to force their way in. What she did not tell you was that you being human makes you...a treasure."
"...Are you joking with me?" For the past two years, Drayden thought that being an unfortunate human made him scum of the earth without so much as a reason behind it other than that others said he was, and being told that it was actually the exact opposite left him feeling conflicted. His confused stare faded when Leonardo's head snapped to the side to stare back at him, seriousness etched all over his face.
"If I was kidding with you, I wouldn't have such worrisome assistance ready to remind you to stay out of sight. As a human, you are rare in this world. More of a prize worth collecting than any golden trophy, hunted game or worthwhile accolade you could ever dream of. And now that I have you and that you've been out in the city under my wing, people will be at the ready to take you from my ownership and claim you as theirs. I want you to swear to me that you will fight tooth and claw to prevent anyone from calling you weak, to call you property meant to be passed around like you mean nothing in the long run, and to steal you away from a place that can do you better than what others can offer."
"..." Drayden's silence was understandably drawn out, for he just had a lot dumped on him at once and it was at war with his previous beliefs. Not to mention that that last bit of pep talk had been the same words he used on Leonardo back when he was a struggling Axew trying to come to terms with the fact that he could not grow by cheating or relying on others who'd take advantage of his power. So instead of garbage meant to be thrown out and forgotten, he was as worth it to the Pokemon that originally laughed at his pitiful existence on the streets as a diamond? And he was such a catch that others would want to take him from Leonardo? But...wait... "Why me?"
Leonardo's gaze retreated back to the window. "Because you are a survivor of Pokerus, you bear a lot of special things within you that you have yet to realize. The strain that you are immune to did more than just make us all able to speak perfect English, adapt to the modern era in mere days and construct settlements to take over where humans had died off, and when I make that apparent to you after the party you will see exactly why I withheld showing you off. Once again, do not show yourself to the party and hide if anyone dares come searching for you that is not me. Understand?"
Once more, Drayden was silent and he almost made a mistake in merely nodding his understanding to the severity of the situation he was in now that he was under Leonardo's rather stretched protection. He was a carrier of Pokerus but immune to the strain that killed off his friends and family and it left behind gifts that he had yet to know of? As much as curiosity demanded he asked questions and see if he could learn some exacts while they were here and able to talk among themselves, Drayden finally answered, "Yes. I understand."
Leonardo had started drying himself off with a handkerchief, alleviating the almost pressuring musk that it left in the air and of which tickled Drayden's nose. "That's what I thought. Now again, the party starts at dusk, so you're free to do as you please within the grounds. Do not leave the gates, stay within sight of your co-workers and once guests start to arrive stay away from windows no matter the sight you see. If you grow hungry..." The Haxorus paused for a moment, looking around the bed chamber for something before taking it before Drayden could identify what it was before it was given to him anyway. When it was dropped into his hand, he was surprised to see it was a bell. "Ring this and your already acquainted co-worker will deliver whatever it is you need to this room. Do not overextend this privilege, she can also be used to lure you out for someone else's malicious goals. Understand?"
"Yes." Drayden was really starting to feel that upbeat feeling that becoming a gym leader felt like all those years ago, with all these precautions being taken to make sure he didn't fall victim to some other Pokemon's twisted plans.
"Good. You have my permission to use my personal gym, seeing as you were curious enough to sneak a peek at what I was doing when you arrived home."
"I uh..."
"Just clean up after yourself when you're done. I've seen your body already and you could use it, but I wouldn't want your associates thinking I hired a house-broken pet to work alongside them."
And like that, Leonardo left the bedchamber and left Drayden to his thoughts. He found himself falling back onto the several cushions of royal blue and white and felt his head swim in a rushing river current.
The world as he thought he knew it was out to get him for the mere fact that he existed and now he had to make sure he stayed...as Leonardo's property. So he really was nothing more than collectible eye candy to the dragon, and here he thought that maybe there was something special that stayed alive as he did up until this point. Resentment settled in where respect should be and he found himself leaving the room to indeed abuse the luxuries of a place to exercise his body. It's been too long since the last time. And maybe after he'll go for a walk-least the groundskeepers did something right in making that an appealing option for him.

Ten minutes to the supposed beginning of this shindig that Leonardo relayed to Drayden as something to avoid marked the first and only ringing of the bell given to him to summon the maid to the bed chamber. The second she opened the door, her cheery face fell back to that authoritative one that she greeted Drayden with earlier right when her eyes fell on him.
"What is it? I have to make sure none of the paintings are crooked for the guests to see when they come inside."
Drayden's request had to be kept simple, as to not make her stumble on herself or take too long, so he only asked: "Are there any servings of meat that I could have a portion of?"
The Audino mulled it over in her head, as she rolled her eyes at Drayden's almost taciturn response, but she came to an agreement and nodded. "Yes, the chefs made sure to prepare enough food to allow fourths for anyone hungry enough. I can see if I can prepare a small platter for you."
"Thank you, ma'am." Drayden's manners were very much intact and he bowed his head towards her to accentuate it. The maid paused at his polite gestures and cracked a bit of a smile.
"Hmph. No one's called me ma'am since I worked in hospitals...Just try not to butter me up-I still don't trust you fully."
"Understood, ma'am." Her appendages fluttered a bit but she was already leaving before Drayden could see what reaction he got out of her. For safe measure, he shut the door behind her and sat back on the grouping of sit-upons. The windows were closed and the curtains for them were drawn, but he could still make out the flashing lights of approaching vehicles coming to the manor. The scale of which Leonardo told him that the party would be around was a drastic understatement to what Drayden assumed from those words, feeling anxiety well in his gut as he began to hear activity fill up the halls downstairs. He dared not to check the windows to see he could catch a hint of how many people he had to hide away from, because while it would make sense to be a little defiant to Leonardo's wishes for treating him like an unruly child the unknown was more fearful than being rebellious. So thus, he shut the lights off save for a lone candle he lit himself with a matchbox and made sure no trace of a presence in the bed chamber was noticeable to curious eyes. And once the Audino came back around with a plate of steak with greens and one lone tomato, the room went undisturbed.

Only up for a good few hours.
Drayden felt his heart start picking up his pace as the night went on, hearing hearty voices of Pokemon of various sizes residing on the stairs to have their chats. Not even the cracks of Leonardo's bedroom door could allow Drayden to catch a word of what was being said out there, but he didn't even need to be a Reuniclus to presume that the rumors of him being there were starting to circulate among the party goers when things quieted down at random intervals. He wondered....
...Curiosity ate at his determination to remain inconspicuous to any strangers and he slowly opened the door to peek out in the corridor. It was dimly lit, as if to promote any stragglers to come downstairs where the life was and leaving anyone that said otherwise to feel left out as they explored territory that the atmosphere alone told them they didn't belong. The second Drayden could look clearly, he saw the Audino looking at him from a door down the hall to his right, her shaking head telling him not to do it. But he wasn't here to try and see if he could look at the party like a child who had been told to go to bed so his parents could have company over in solitude. He beckoned her to come to him and her notable look of confusion was left unsated as he did it again and backed away from the door. Against the Audino's better judgment, she slowly opened the door that she had been stationed at to watch out for stragglers and crept down the hall to Leonardo's room. Drayden quickly snatched her inside once she was close enough and left the door to a small crack that would only be noticeable if someone squinted.
"What is it, you old buffoon!?" Her hushed whispers still carried the dislike she held for him but he ignored it.
"For the last time, I'm not that old ...Are they talking about me?" This shouldn't even be a discussion but the suspense was gnawing at his certainty and he felt the need to at least hear a confirmation from someone who could hear things like that with ease.
The maid groaned as quietly as she could and crossed her arms. "Yes, they are. One of the guests is apparently the father of the tailor keep's clerk and he started bringing up talk about you." Damn, so that's why that feline kept looking at him like that up until he left the store. Must have spilled the beans the second he heard his dad was going to the manor. "Master Leonardo has tried his best to quell any conversations of you down but with every drink he gets lazier and lazier about it...I fear he might let something sl-"
"AMELIA!" The roar of the Haxorus in question made them both jump, Drayden in hysterics thinking that the dragon had not only snuck upstairs unbeknownst to them both but also opened the door without either of them noticing the change in lighting but only somewhat relieved to see that Leonardo was loud enough to do the calling from down at the party.
"That's my cue...Lock the door behind me, I don't think I'll be able to come back in here tonight unless the party ends early. And, Drayden?"
The human was surprised to hear that the Audino-now known as Amelia-knew of his name already, but the more he thought of it the more he realized that perhaps the dragon had been mumbling about him whenever he denied his offers to work alongside Pokemon like her. "Yes, ma'am?"
"Don't let them take you." And with that cryptic warning, she left Drayden and headed downstairs after adjusting her headdress. As to honor her request, he quietly shut the door and clicked the lock in so he didn't have to fear an immediate forced entry. His food had been long since eaten and she had taken it to the room she had been lurking in so that questions didn't arise when she took it downstairs to wash it. Drayden was forever grateful that she was being kind to him despite her obvious distaste for his presence in the manor and hoped that she didn't end u-
"Is he upstairs?" Those three words made Drayden's heart hitch into his throat, and it began to beat a mile a minute when he noticed that the being who spoke of him spoke quietly.
"Yeah, must be. Ole elephant scales is probably trying to make sure none of us could get a crack at him ...Shows what he knows, maybe we like having some human tail to rut."
Drayden felt a sympathetic clench of his buttocks from behind and knew they were talking about....that. He nearly panicked his way into a corner but did what he could to eliminate as much of his presence as possible; he snuffed out the candle light and hid it behind the mirror so its smoke wouldn't give it away being recently fizzled out, he straightened up the sit-upons that he took refuge in as a substitute seat and just when he heard someone fumbling with the lock to the door he pushed himself under the bed as best he could. He didn't fit entirely, on account of his recently filled musclegut making it a painful chore, but the drapes of the bed helped hide his arm and half of a foot that were stuck unable to hide under the sanctuary of Leonardo's mattress before the bedchamber door creaked open.
The white-haired human hoped that the heartbeat drumming in his ears wasn't actually audible because the intruders who were stepping inside were moving slowly as if waiting on a noise that'd give him away to occur. All was silent until they started to speak again.
"Hello...? Fresh human meat...? We're here to take ya to Leo, his orders I swear..."
'Who the hell would believe that, Henry? Even I know you'd be lying."
"You try telling a dumb human toy that he's "wanted" by his master, Heiney."
Drayden had to suppress a sudden giggle at one of their names as they got closer to the bed. He heard sparking, and assumed that they had tampered with something and it was starting to malfunction but he froze when he saw that they were causing the crackling noise and he could make out who they were in the dim flashes they created.
Heliolisk. And they looked mean.
"I'm just saying, you're not gonna convince 'em to come outta hiding because their owner said so. You called them fresh meat!"
"Don't matter what they're supposed to be called, they're only here to get fucked by that old cunt and we're just making sure that we get a piece of the action before he's gone from us for good. You know what virgin human feels like?"
"Henry!"
"What, can't a lizard dream of having some tight tail for once? No offense but my wife could use a leaf outta this guy's book. Just gotta...find 'em..." Their hushed whispers were making the middle-aged man tremble, feeling as if he were escaping slavery within an inch of his life. With every demeaning phrase that the Henry fellow referred to him as, it further asserted the fact that he was no more a friend to Leonardo than he thought and that he was just an owned human to the dragon. But he couldn't lay here and hate his old friend for treating him like he was just a lone scale shed off his skin and forgotten forever, for the duo were starting to get close to the bed in their search and he was only lucky by a hair that they checked the side he wasn't sticking out of first. He could hear them checking the actual bed, for the drapes made a noise when one was entering or exiting the mattress space to get up or get in depending on how gentle you were, so he used that as a stepping stone to aid in foiling their plans to kidnap him or worse... He dug himself from under the bed, grateful he had a shirt on to avoid the searing friction that sliding against the hardwood floor would have provided him had he not dressed up casually while he waited for the party to be over, and carefully reached for the bathroom door knob without exposing himself too much. The Heliolisk were mumbling to themselves so he couldn't make out what they were saying, but the second he touched the door knob he heard Henry again.
"Shhh. You hear dat?"
"...Yeah, I heard it too."
Drayden put every ounce of nimble fluidity his body could muster for this one chance to evade being some strangers' toy into this move, and felt his lungs drain of oxygen when he swiped the bathroom door knob down and made it crack with a loud *creeeeeeek* before ducking back out of sight.
"Gottem now." "Mmm, I can already feel that tight ass on my dicks." The second they began to scurry around the bed to see if they caught him red-handed, Drayden slipped past the drapes of the bed as softly as possible. He just barely disturbed the curtains behind him and he was grateful the moonlight outside didn't cast any rays through the tapestry so the two lizards didn't catch him giving them the slip while they had already stepped into the bathroom and decided to give it a look-see. As soon as he saw that both of them had their backs turned he slipped off the bed and quickly made a dash for the other room opposite of the bathroom. This one was devoid of rickety hinges, so he was glad to have found that out when he chanced seeing if he could hide in there. Though his stroke of luck ended when the two Heliolisk stormed out of the bathroom with irritation in their tones.
"Alright, you little punk. Come out here and we promise we'll let Leo watch us make you ours..."
"Yeah we'll show you a better time that ole elephant scales ...Just show yourself..."
He could tell they were getting desperate and he felt like time slowed down as both of them began to look towards the room he hid himself in. He felt ice creep down his throat and into his stomach as their eyes locked onto his...
"HENRY! HEINEY!" A new voice made all three of them jump, Drayden keeping his from making it apparent he was hiding from the two intruders in the room. The bedroom door was slammed open by who appeared to be the lizards' father, but it was a Sceptile-Mega Evolved as if trying to show off for the party downstairs. Either way, they were quick to throw excuses.
"H-hey, ole man ...What brings ya up here...?" Henry's voice had no trace of bravado he had plenty of taunting Drayden in it.
"You don't ask the questions, Henry. You answer them. So what were you two doing that made sure you couldn't hear me when I was calling the both of you so we could leave?" He knew what the answer was already, since he caught them snooping around in this bedroom, but he felt the need to let them try and give an answer.
"Uh...uh...Heiney here...had to uh...use the bathroom and no one told us if there was one downstairs so we checked...Leo's bedroom."
"Y-yeah pops! Honest!"
The two Heliolisk were nodding frantically at their Sceptile father, whose loathing gaze did not ease up one bit when they answered him.
"Honest, my ass. Now you two are gonna come up with excuses as to why I shouldn't beat you black and blue when we get home while I'm driving us and you can forget about me bringing you two along with me to these parties again until further notice." His commanding tone seemed to be final, for the two lizards began to grumble among themselves as they sorely departed from the bedroom. As the Sceptile reached in to shut the door, his gaze fell upon the door that Drayden had watched all of that transpire and he froze again as they locked eyes. He felt like he had been caught finally but all the tree gecko did was scoff and slam the door closed.
Drayden had thought it was over and stayed inside the dark room he was in for a good few moments, but when that tree-tailed lizard didn't return he dared to step out into the bedroom and scurried to lock the door again. The Heliolisk brothers hadn't broken it, so he was glad it still worked as a reasonable ward for anyone else who'd try their luck.
He felt that he was allowed to breathe in and out, so when he did just that he realized that the breath he had been holding was about to leave him slumped out of commission...That was ...intense...And those two sounded like they had a lot of ideas in mind for Drayden's untouched butt with how vivid they got when they mentioned it. Once his heart calmed down, the human went back to waiting for Leonardo to come back when the party was over...

The sound of a vase breaking in the corridor outside woke Drayden from a nap he didn't know he had taken, the manor mostly silent save for the noise that just occurred and what happened next.
Something barreled into the door, nearly splitting it into pieces from how much the wood groaned from the impact and it got Drayden's systems going enough to make him back away as far as he could from there. The same thing happened again, only instead he heard the lock start to give away, so Drayden quickly dove into the bathroom and blocked the light switch with a quick flick of its protective casing before he heard the bedroom door crash open. His footsteps halted immediately, but he fixed himself in time to slowly crawl into the bathtub. The shower would have made more sense but the doors were clear as day and it'd leave him more obvious to a searching presence than where he was now.
His heart felt like it was going to explode as he waited to hear whoever it was that just busted through Leonardo's bedroom door and his fears began to pick up as the intruder searched the bed for a moment before kicking the bathroom door open to let them fit. He thought they would be just as fleeting in here as they were out there but he felt chills creep down his spine as the intruder whiffed the air then suddenly stopped. Dammit, he knew he should have showered after working out earlier this evening, but the deadline to isolate himself from strangers AND the close run in with those Heliolisk twins had made him forget to mask his body odor. He heard heavy footfalls thud against the bathroom floor, as if the intruder was offering him time to try and plea for his life before he was ripped away from the comfort and luxury of Leonardo's keep and brought into someone else's less ideal establishment. But who he saw peek down into the tub made him lose any urge to try and stall for time in case Leonardo still had time to come rescue him.
The scar on their eye, the battle-hardened look and the eyes that spoke of many experience battling others for the sake of seeing them broken and defeated at their feet....
It was a Dragonite ...Iris' Dragonite.
The realization had Drayden rooted there, remembering the day that she died to which the dragon had spat at her body and thanked Arceus that she was gone and out of his life holding him back, and feeling the loathing he felt for them come back but not getting his gears moving in time before the drake began to reach for him. That crazed look in their eyes haunted Drayden and he hoped that this wasn't the end of his free will.
Then he heard wood crunch at the bathroom doorway and something tackled the accursed dragon away from the tub and a scuffle ensued. Drayden used that surprise to crawl out of the tub and turn the lights on so he could see what was happening.
The rays beamed onto Iris' scornful partner and...Leonardo! The Haxorus looked worse for wear, scales torn off of his neck as blood dripped down from his body and tainted the floor. The two dragons wrestled for control fot the situation for a few moments until the Haxorus managed to get his feet against the Dragonite's belly and kicked him off. He hit the ceiling and faceplanted onto the floor, wobbly rising back onto his feet before snarling in anger and going in for another attack. Leonardo met him halfway and they began to fight once more.
Among this fight for Drayden, Amelia had snuck into the room and muffled the human's sudden yelling before backing him out with her to the other side of the bedroom where he hid last from the Heliolisk. Judging from the inky black darkness around them, it must have been past midnight. She didn't say a word, silently bringing Drayden back into the room and gave him a shushing gesture once she released his mouth from her pudgy hand and shut the door behind her before leaving. The human noticed that she had a softer touch than earlier, and the dim lighting of the bedroom made her glisten enough for him to see that she was Mega Evolved. He held his breath, just in time to hear a rather loud crash of someone hitting the wall in the bathroom and hitting the floor afterwards.
"WHERE IS HE!?" The strangled voice of someone inexperienced with English could only be Iris' Dragonite, making Drayden shake in fear that Leonardo had been the one who suffered a strong blow and had been incapacitated.
"NONE OF YOUR CONCERN!" Hearing the Haxorus go on strong, he heard them scuffle some more before their fight came back into the bedroom. He heard the bed rock as they tussled near it and then one of them hit the floor with a loud *thunk* for the splintered wood of the bedroom door had yet to be cleaned up. Drayden hoped he didn't have to fear this Dragonite getting his hands on him but having neither of them say something didn't bode well for his hopes at all. He dared to take a peek but it was just in time to see Leonardo's back sailing towards the door before he closed it tight just in time for the dragon to nearly go through it upon impact.
"I'm not playing no more, bitch. Cough up that human or I'm killing everyone here and taking him by force."
Leonardo took a bit to answer, which was bad for Drayden for his bets were on the Haxorus pulling through and getting rid of this assailant.
"Over my dead body would I give you my Drayden..." As much as the human was flattered that he was still being fought for, he felt the fear creep back in as the Dragonite laughed.
"You think I'm dumb, huh? Alright." Nothing seemed to happen for a moment, then Drayden heard Amelia shout before a harsh blow connected into someone and a quiet *thud* landed into the room. "Why don't we start with your little maid? You show me the old man or she dies first."
"Don't do THIS!"
"You know the conditions, bitch. Human or dead nurse on your grounds." There was a pause and Drayden was sure he missed if Amelia had been killed right then and there, but then he heard Leonardo roar out in a fury that he's never heard before and the fight resumed. As the two dragons wrestled, Amelia must have crawled her way away from the action because she was the one who opened the door where Drayden was eavesdropping. No lights were needed to see that she was banged up. Bad.
"Come...h-here...hold my mouth shut..." The human sat there for a good minute but her pitiful look was all he needed to stop acting like a statue and do what she said. She reached around in the dark room for something, grabbing what looked like a spray bottle. Drayden hasn't battled as a Pokemon trainer in so long, he nearly forgot what a Full Restore looked like, but he knew why she asked him to keep her mouth covered and when she handed him the spray he nodded and aimed it towards her body.
The second the first *spritz* hit her body she writhed on the ground as the healing effect took place, making him wince in sympathy as he caused her pain just to ease her suffering. He sprayed wherever he felt it were necessary and he had to hold back his own screams when she bit down on his fingers as if daring him to let go so she could yell out while he tended to her wounds. When the bottle was empty, he tossed it and removed his hand from her face, holding her into his arms instead and praying that she made it.
Her red eyes fluttered in and out of focus for a bit and in that moment he thought he was too late. But then she squirmed out of his grasp and headed for the door, just in time for Drayden to realize something.
The fight had gone silent.
The second she left him in the room, he felt like she was about to walk into her certain death as nothing happened. But as he no longer heard the sounds of bone crunching, bodies hitting the floor or walls or any scuffling at all, he dared to take another peek into the bedroom and shouted in surprise as the door flew open the second he touched it.
But it was not the hulking Dragonite intent on taking him from the manor to a life he knew he would come to wish death on himself to escape from, it was Leonardo, bringing his heart back into his chest instead of residing in his throat and making him relax. The Haxorus was covered in blood stains and his left arm looked uncomfortably twisted but still he held his somewhat uninjured limb towards Drayden and he slowly got off the floor to grab it. Gently, he was pulled onto his feet and brought into an embrace caked with the scent of dragon blood, sweat and alcohol. He returned it, carefully as to not agitate any open wounds still on the dragon's body before he was led out to the bedroom.
"Amelia will be taking care ...of our dear intruder ...I'm going to clean myself up...You stay in the bed ...I will tend to you once I am well..." Leonardo's voice was laced with fatigue and pain, so Drayden's heart sang in sorrow for his friend just as they departed for the bathroom and shut the door behind them. Drayden was left to stare at the scene and he held back any sick that threatened to well up in his stomach.
There was blood everywhere, most of it splattered near the doorway where the Dragonite had broken in; there was even a trail of it leading out to the hallway. The debris on the floor made the human glad he only had to stay on the bed in case he wanted to risk having something stab into his feet, and the sit-upons in the corner had been left in ruins from the dragons' wrestling. Whatever had to be done to stop that dragon from taking Drayden and resulting in the deaths of Leonardo and Amelia and possible others ...had to be done.
Some time had passed waiting for Leonardo's showering to stop, so it allowed the adrenaline of narrowly escaping captivity with an old and unwelcome face to fade and leave exhaustion in its wake. He hoped he'd have enough time to stay up and see what is to happen now that the party was over and Leonardo was back upstairs with him, but his guessing was cut short when Amelia returned.
She was not covered in blood, but spraying her in the dark left Drayden to miss her eye, which was left black yet not swollen from taking a subduing punch from the Dragonite. She didn't say a word to Drayden as she passed by him and strolled into the bathroom, just in time to hear the stream cut off and sound off the end of Leonardo's clean-up. The two of them talked, but Drayden dared not make out the precise words said for the sake of leaving enough concerns out of tonight's to-do list before everyone went to sleep. Then, Leonardo began to snarl in discomfort as something transpired behind the door. Drayden was barely able to see the pink glowing of a Heal Pulse from the cracks on the door before the two of them stepped out.
Leonardo's arm was better-looking and he didn't look like he just got out of a cage match, so Drayden managed to calm down as he watched his old partner stroll onto the bed and take a seat. "Thank you, Amelia...Go have a nice rest...you deserve it."
"Thank you, Master Leonardo." The Mega Audino had enough time with her departure to knowingly stare at Drayden where she knew he was sitting before leaving the room to the two of them.
To the two of them.
Before the human knew it, Leonardo had him in his strong clutches again and he could hear the Haxorus' heartbeat begin to pick up in tune with his. They were making eye contact with each other and Drayden was able to catch the hint of something mischievous hiding behind that gaze before he was laid out on the bed like a freshly rescued damsel. Leonardo settled himself over him and their bodies began to press against each other. Drayden felt like this had been the most dysfunctional romantic build up he's ever sat through, but this wasn't a screening that he was forced to sit and watch with Iris and her friends.
This was real life.
Leonardo came down, bringing his muzzle in for a kiss that was limited in passionate space thanks to those sharp tusks of his. Even so, Drayden braved the moment and kissed back before he realized that he was kissing a Pokemon for the first time in his life. Memories of overseeing his partner breeding other dragons for the sake of passing down the genes he had came back to mind and the vivacious imagery was more than enough to bring an erection to painfully tent against his pants. Luckily for him, the moment was more than enough to get a similar reaction from the dragon on top of him.
"It was torture waiting for this moment..." Leonardo's kissing moved off of those lips and settled for licking Drayden's neck, tasting the sweat generated from all the stress of the past several minutes up to this point and relishing in their strong flavor until all that glistened there was his own saliva. "Having to dismiss anyone that dared speak of you like you were just a reusable trophy..."
"But...aren't I?" Drayden didn't forget the words of those Heliolisk, them speaking about his body like he was a cheap, dollar-store prostitute that had a good set of orifices for anyone-man or Pokemon-to try out, and he surely didn't forget the way he had been treating beyond when the dragon woke him up.
Though he wasn't expecting the Haxorus to snarl and bite down on his neck painfully but not enough to break skin.
"Wrong...You are my treasure ...the queen to my king...the life partner I've wanted since before the Scourge...the perfect mate...When this night is done...if I ever catch you trying to belittle yourself in that manner...I'll kiss you just to remind you how you fare belonging to me as my lover."
"..." Drayden's blush almost made his beard tint the color red, embarrassment flush over his head as his old friend basically just deconfirmed his suspicions that he was just a toy to the dragon. And he was glad that it wasn't the case. Though Leonardo hadn't said a word after, so Drayden assumed he was waiting for a response. "...okay ...I'm sorry."
"Don't apologize." Okay well- "Only prove that you mean it ...with action..." Even without heightened senses, the human could tell that Leonardo was holding back an immense desire to go rampant on his deteriorating body, so he kept his grip fleeting on the scaly hide of his boss as the dragon found other places to nip at his sensitive skin. More sweat was to be collected by that eager tongue and soon Drayden was able to taste it-albeit to a smaller degree-once Leonardo came back up to kiss him again.
Their erections strained to be released and Drayden worried that the Haxorus' would be the first to bust out into the open. But no, the rather invigorating taste of his own perspiration and Leonardo's saliva had his own member shoving its way out of his pants and leaving the front in tattered remains. Though when the dragon looked back at the damages, he only looked back to Drayden and smirked.
"I see not even the ravages of time can make you look small."
"Eheheh ...lucky genes?"
"Let's go with that." They kissed once more, only Leonardo went down with his arms to rid himself of his stained trousers and joined Drayden in being exposed and throbbing. The size difference between them was very...close, actually, with the Haxorus beating out Drayden with a few inches of superiority in both length and thickness. And not to mention the big surprise hiding away in his slit, it looks like the human being quite hung for his species wouldn't matter in the long run...
Drayden could feel himself getting hotter the more he made out with Leonardo, wondering what all the dragon had planned for this moment now that they had all the time of the night do whatever they so pleased. His panting grew frantic as he didn't have the same lung capacity as a Haxorus, and soon he pulled away feeling new sweat bead down his forehead and settle into his beard.
"Ready?" For a moment, the man worried that Leonardo was just gonna dive into that unprepared rear end of his and make things agony for Drayden, but he was taken for a loop when the dragon merely began to thrust his cock against Drayden's without waiting for his consent. There should be friction, but as Leonardo proved with his reptilian anatomy his cock had been lubed the second it left its home in his crotch. And with enough time he was able to slide the underside of his meat against Drayden's with ease.
This new sensation was alien to Drayden, for he never partook in relations with another man-no less a Pokemon of all things-so when his cock began to grow veined and shoot precum into his white treasure trail and down to his balls the dragon took that as plenty reason to go faster. It didn't even hurt to do so, which was a good thing because the human was sure that had there been no arousal in the form of liquids to keep things moist his dick would be on fire.
The more they frotted, the more randy Leonardo grew; his butterfly kisses were twinged with the vibrations of his growling, his teeth were growing less and less careful and leaving pinkish red marks all over Drayden's upper body and his hands went from just being undressers to rather forceful grips on Drayden's arms as they shared this space to seek pleasure for the both of them. Drayden wasn't sure why or where it came from, but the ferociousness emanating off of Leonardo's form was...arousing. Not even just a speculation, just watching it transpire and knowing he was the reason that the dragon was in such a riled-up state left him feeling a bit proud. Proud enough to throw his head back as his cock neared orgasm first.
But the Haxorus had been ahead of him on that, and when he knew that the human would be the first to splurt, he quickly began to stroke his cock tip while continuing to dry-hump that mushroom-tipped shaft, leaving their bliss to be shared on even levels once more. And as a result, both human and Pokemon shared a climax that felt deserved with all that transpired.
Drayden felt years of never even considering his sex life flowing back into his mind as his load painted his body and shot through the oozing blasts of Leonardo whose drive came from his need for the human beneath him. Being synced they both came down into a high together, Drayden gasping for air while Leonardo felt like he just went out on a roundabout run from point A to point B and didn't rest until he got to point A again.
Their dicks were still twitching in repressed desire and the result of the Haxorus' load left Drayden covered head-to-waist in dragon seed, so the floor was either of theirs to see what happened next.
And once Drayden's breathing slowed did Leonardo slowly pull Drayden higher up towards the headboard behind him and allow his shaft to prod around for that peach-fuzzed pucker.
As expected, the human felt modesty kick in and he wondered if the dragon would even fit inside of him. But Leonardo made no motion to try and prepare Drayden for what he was about to endure, just giving him a knowing look that he could handle it and soon finding his mark in time to push in before it slipped away and he'd have to try again.
Drayden whined in obvious discomfort, having his cherry popped by such a large endowment leaving his ass throbbing like he just came again, but he didn't smell the crimson life fluids of his own blood waft through his nose. Instead, Leonardo pushed deeper and the pain suddenly washed away and pleasure eagerly took their place. The human's pucker went from screaming in agony to quivering in desire and the Haxorus was quick to capitalize on the change with a swift thrust that left those scaly hips pressed on the human's ass.
The man huffed out some breath that he didn't know he was holding, his vision blurring from the bliss tearing his mind asunder, but a soothing stroke from the blunt side of Leonardo's claw brought him back to focus as the dragon began to dig into his body and pull back out to repeat himself. The depth of which he could achieve and the smoothness of his cock made the bulge that poked through Drayden's gut all the more worth it and soon the human was just a panting mess in Leonardo's arms.
The Haxorus, on the other hand, felt like his instincts were going to make him explode into a million pieces. Fuck him, make him your bitch, breed his man pussy, make him scream for you, make the manor tremble from his shouting of your name, and many more thoughts ran through Leonardo like electricity strikes, but his eyes were able to hide them away from Drayden's analytic ones so he could focus only on allowing the human to enjoy himself. But the dragon won't lie-seeing if he could make Drayden quiver for him without even needing to get into this position was an alluring afterthought but it too faded with his strong will and he was back to simply keeping his pace steady and slow like a Torkoal.
Their rutting lasted a good while, Drayden feeling his cock erect itself back to full mast and throb with a painfully red shade near the tip while Leonardo's breathing began to grow as erratic as his urges to both bite and lick the human under him. But even time could tell that this slow and methodical pace wouldn't finish either of them off. So once he had his bearings, Drayden said the words that made Leonardo's night better.
"F-faster...."
"...Are you sure...?" Trust him, he was more than ready to go for it, but he had going so sluggishly to let Drayden get used to the girth of his cock and tearing his hole open beyond repair was not-
"Do it..." Leonardo caught those eyes, the eyes that made sure he trained to be the monster of a dragon he was in a battle, the eyes that congratulated him with every battle victory when his partner didn't speak them physically, and now they were the eyes of a man who really needed his friend to throw caution in the wind and fuck his brains out. And now, after so many years even before the Scourge spent yearning for Drayden, he could do it.
Drayden felt the change of pace hit hard, his ass going from a light shade of an injured pink to the stark, deep shade of red of a recently spanked pair of cheeks. Leonardo let more of his willpower slip and not even he could stop himself from ramming into the human harder than ever before. Drayden gasped out and he felt his loins scrunched up towards his crotch and let loose his seed again. Stronger now that he was stimulated by a cock in his butt, his load shot high enough to brush the lower end of Leonardo's chest and the dragon was proud to slow down to watch it all happen. That and the hug-fest that those walls gave his shaft made him slow down to enjoy it.
When Drayden went slack on the mattress, he felt the Haxorus start going again and his moaning almost sounded like begging. It was music to Leonardo's mind and it guided him to that savage urge, that primal need, that basic instinct that existed in all Pokemon:
Breed.
The dragon's cock suddenly felt as if it were reaching new territory within the white-haired man and in his tired state he almost failed to recognize his old partner's knot knocking on his back door. Gone were the times watching it sink into a dragoness being left to carry his offspring, because now it was Drayden's turn to feel that slick *shlop* of that knob of flesh sink into his hole and tie him to his friend-turned-mate.
The human was helpless, a victim to what one would call becoming the definition of "claimed territory". The roar that reverberated through the halls of the manor were enough to make it tremble from top to bottom and Drayden was glad he hadn't gone deaf as he watched his stomach lose its cute pudge and steadily grow into a real potbelly. Every powerful throb from that dragon cock in his ass promoted another surge of growth inside of him and within time Drayden worried he'd pop before it was over. But soon, he could feel the excess that couldn't take residence in his stomach fill out what hadn't been covered within his stretched-open butt, held away from truly gushing out by that thick knot. Leonardo was panting against Drayden's face but he could tell that the dragon was genuinely worn out. No Heal Pulse in the world can recover the stamina required to fuck someone for what felt like hours-but only being one.
When Drayden felt like it was over, he glanced up to the Haxorus and grinned, knowing the dragon could read his expression like a book and grin back down at him. As the man would say, all challenges conquered should feel as rewarding as securing your favorite food to eat.
Leonardo didn't pull out, carefully moving himself around until he was behind Drayden so he could rest with that gravid belly sagging against the mattress. And once he felt the dragon snort on his head, Drayden too felt the rush of exhaustion sap away his consciousness and leave him embracing the realm of sleep...
Drayden stared at himself in the mirror, doing his best to tie the bowtie he had to wear without choking himself from the strength he used, and succeeding after taking a quick breather. Which was tough, for obvious reasons.
The more he looked at his reflection, the more he wondered if the changes would be...obvious as Leonardo claimed, but for the time being nothing was visible for his eye to see. He heard the door creak and turned to see the dragon leaning against the doorway. He smiled behind his beard at his presence, all of his doubts and concerns about his battle partner-turned-life partner having flown out of the window by dawn a few hours ago. And in return, Leonardo smiled back at him and came closer.
"Still trying to see what I'm talking about, are we love?" Hearing that murr in his voice made Drayden giddy. He never knew having a boyfriend, especially one he raised to be the perfect image of a dragon, would be so...exciting of a prospect and a reality.
"Maybe...Really hard not to be curious when you're told you're going to..."
"Relax...relax...you'll make the little ones come out funny." Leonardo stepped behind Drayden and rubbed on his belly, focusing on the rotund and somewhat lumpy mass that had the man's bellybutton poking out to really show the true volume of how much heft he was carrying in his midriff.
"Nonsense...I can be calm about it. Just tell me where it'll start and you'll never hear me ask again."
"Nice try, dear." Drayden pouted and crossed his arms, but Leonardo was quick to prey on that neck of his, leaving only nips for his skin seemed to take on a much softer tone after last night. And even with such feather-light scraps of his teeth, Drayden still shuddered in the dragon's grasp and only when the human stopped trying to be a tough guy did the dragon cease.
"Okay fine, I'll let myself be surprised."
"Good. Now, I can't have you going out with this," Leonardo gestured to the stomach in his hands, letting it ripple with a few pats to its surface, "so you're staying here with the rest of the workers."
"Will I be doing tidywork?"
"Oh heavens no. You're just going to mingle with them, get to know them and Amelia better than what your first day offered."
"...Huh."
That response made Leonardo pause and look into Drayden's eyes directly as opposed through his reflection. "Something wrong, love?"
"Oh, nothing. Just crazy to think all that happened yesterday...was just my first day of working for you."
"And you can leave it behind as your only day of working for me with who you got brewing in your belly. At least until you lay them." Leonardo nuzzled into the saliva-stained nook of Drayden's neck and made the man laugh from the ticklish sensation it left, pulling back out once he had his fun. "Alright, I better go. Boring meetings and the like. You better be friendly with the lot of them or I'll have you all play that Twister game from the old days."
"Yes dear."
"Good." The Haxorus left a kiss on Drayden's cheek and soon he was out of the bathroom. Once the human caught wind of the door closing and departing footsteps did he look back into the mirror. Sure, he did say that he would only ask Leonardo if there would be any parts of him that would succumb to their mating bond now that the time had passed, but he knowingly brushed the hairs of his beard down from covering his mouth and smiled as the signs of bladed tusks were forming along the corners of his mouth.
