Introduction to Manipulators: Sexual Anatomy
All Manipulators are technically hermaphrodites. There are still stark differences between male and female, though. Their sexual organs are spread all over, instead of consolidated to one area. I'll describe them from head down.
Head:
This is where male and female switch places. A female manipulators 'male' sex organ is located in her mouth, taking the form of a small opening below the tapered tip of her tongue called a Tose. This is where her semen comes out. Manipulators tongues are very long. About 3 feet (1 meter approx.).
Males have an opening (similar to a vagina) under their tongue called a Siphon. The female sticks her tongue into this opening under the males tongue, and thats how she fertilizes his eggs. This opening connects to the males egg vent by an almost entirely straight tube, the only interruption being the egg chamber. Because of this characteristic manipulators have developed a fetish related to unbirthing and burritos.
Back:
Manipulators have 2 stripes running down their back making a "V" shape. All 6 species of Manipulator have them. These stripes are actually contact pads (electrodes) that are sensitive to pressure and electricity. Here's an interesting fact about Manipulators: Though they're hermaphroditic, only the females are capable of producing sperm (thats, like, an oxymoron). How does that work? Well, since Manipulators are, by their very nature, half machine (one of their 3 brains is a computer, and a myriad of other internal organs are also mechanical), the male passes his genetic code to the female via electrical pulses (like a computer transfers data to an external hard drive). The females internal computer receives the gene code and sends it to the organic brains to be converted into hormone and nervous messages, which then go to the testes to tell them to make sperm based on the males genes and send them to the females eggs. Females can theoretically self-impregnate, or impregnate other females in this manner, also.
Please note that males DO have testicles, and males DO have a Tose. Their testes are only for making hormones, though. They have the ability to produce sperm, but that requires external stimuli to start the process.
Crotch:
The egg vent. Similar in appearance to a human vulva and vagina, only there are two clitoris'. A males body can't fully develop eggs, so they have to be laid into the female to develop properly. The clitoris' emit magnetic fields which allow the male and female egg vents to lock onto each other. The vents then form a seal by growing together (Telekinetix helps with this) to become like a tube.
Contrary to the norm, a Manipulators tail hole isn't for excreting waste. There's an opening just before the tip of the tail that yields all waste and even mothers milk (see below). The tail hole is actually for accessing the controls for their internal temperature regulation system. It still has pleasure inducing nerves, though.
Tip of Tail:
As mentioned briefly above, manipulators excrete waste from a vent just before the tip of their tail. It's known as the excremental cloaca. Not only is it for the excretion of wastes, but it's also for the manipulator version of 'breast feeding.' Females (and male) manipulators will tail feed their young from hatching until age 5 (manipulators grow rather slowly until they are about 15, then they pick up the pace a bit becoming adults at 40). For this reason, manipulators tend to keep this part of their body obsessively clean.
