*Alex awoke a few days later inn the hospital's ICU , the beepping of machines all around him, the scent of disinfectant filling his nose. Roen sat next to his bedside, Connor beside Roen. Roen sighed wondering how Jonathan could be such a bastard, he had always talked big * , He had beat the shit out of ROen and Connor . Jonathan had received a mear slap on the wrist, with his father being on the Police force.
"That you hun?" Alex asked , for some reason not being able to see Roe by his bedside.
"Yeah , its me and Connor, darling." I replied back reaching my hand out grabbing Alex's. "Can't see anything..." Alex started, "Well how do you think I feel, since I can't see your handsome face daily." I replied back trying to make a joke of ALex's situation. I wasn't sure of the full situation with ALex but making light of it would help me, unless I went out and Find Jonathan and his asshole friends.
knock came at the door the Doctor walking in a second after. "Hello there Mr. Sage, I see your awake. That's good
He came closer to Alex's bedside, going through papers as he went. "Looks like you have a mild scarring in both eyes,though looks like your already 20 over 800 ." Hesaid continuing to look through his papers., talking to himself and to Alex.
"So I've lost more vision, huh?Alex asked, seeming to be really calm from the news. " "Wait, what your blind ALex? Really?" I asked in disbelif. "Yeah, I was 20/200 since forever, just really never used any blindness or low vision stuff." He admitted
This was news to me my mind was blown!
"The slivers and shards did cut through your eyes, we did manage to remove them all." The doctor finished , closing the folder and leaving the room, his parents entering as the Doctor left.
"Alex!" came a sob from Alex's mom, her crashing hug wrapping around Alex sitting up in the bed.
" "Son...." Came another voice that was familiar, the man coming in after Alex's mom. Alex's dad joining his wife and son at the bedside.
