Andreas - Part 2
Authors Note: This story does contain M/M, so just be warned for now. Nothing too hard in this chapter though. This was written pretty late at night, so don't judge too harsly. Also, this chapter is short as well, but I promise that chapter 3 will be longer. Rate and comments are welcome.
It had been two days since Andreas moved in with me, and during that time, I've gotten into the habit of calling him "Andy" because I was worried about sounding too formal whenever I spoke to him. It wasn't until he started calling me "Will" that I calmed down and could have a decent conversation with him without having massive awkward silence moments mid-sentence.
I'm guessing that the reason I was so shy around him was because I had been living in this apartment for some time now, and it seemed strange to have a seven-and-a-half foot dragon walking around my home. Not only that, but he was so damn cute! Honestly, sometimes I would walk past him and have to stop myself from latching onto his chest and giving him a big squeeze like a giant plush toy. Imagine my surprise when he came up, hugged me tightly, then let me go with a soft chuckle. When I asked him why he did it, he said:
~Because I felt like doing it, for all you've done.~
Then he went off to his room to read.
Now, If I were to say that Andy liked to read, it would be an understatement. Often I would walk by the spare room where he had taken up residence, and see him, on the bed, with his snout buried in the pages of a book which I could of sworn was different from the one he was reading five minutes earlier.
When those situations arose, occasionally I would stand outside his door, just...admiring that he was here, with me. I would watch him turn every page with a delicate grace, and I would admire his orange-yellow scales as they reflected light from his bedside lamp...
Alright, alright. Let's clear this up shall we, so you don't have to wonder.
I am NOT a ladies' man. Let's leave it at that.
When I would be done watching him, it was only for about 15 seconds or so, I would go into the living room to watch T.V for a while before retiring to bed.
Every morning would be the same; Get up, get dressed, say good morning to Andy, have breakfast with Andy, head off to work. Office worker, nothing fancy. When I got back, he would be reading, watching T.V, or he would be out for a jog. And that jogging, it showed. Whenever he would get back, his shirt would be stained with sweat, giving an outline slim, toned midsection. His legs would be taught, and his chest would be heaving. He'd take a shower, giving me a sweet smile before relaxing in his room.
For about a month, everything was the same. Just the same routine. Until a certain weekend came. I can even remember the date. It was the weekend, Saturday, and we were seated on the couch watching some weird 80's movie that I I've forgotten the name of. It was pathetically boring, so I couldn't quite follow the storyline. Andy only occasionally got up to get a drink, but otherwise he remained in his seat for the duration of the film. After about three hours of mindless droning, the credits rolled, and by the time a new show started, it was pretty late.
We both got up, and headed to our rooms at the same time, since they're right next to each other. When I turned to him to say goodnight, he gave me a hug, just like he always tends to do now. Only this time he did more than hug. The instant that our bodies were touching, he pulled us closer together and kissed me. On the lips.
For those humans who haven't kissed a dragon, it is a very awkward experience. Since their muzzles can only contort to a shape by so much, they frequently use their tongues for most of the time spent... embracing. So for a dragon to kiss a human, they need to take a fair amount of care, as of course, human's mouths are shaped differently.
For me though, it was momentary, all too short heaven. The feel of his soft tongue caressing my own felt so wonderful.. but I had no time to react, as I acted as if he had punched me instead of kissed me; I just stood there, even as he pulled away, blushed hard, and retreated into the safety of his room. Even as I lay down on my bed, it still took me a while before I could even blink.
This dragon..this cute..sweet dragon, had just kissed me.
I remember I had trouble sleeping that night.
