Not what you expected
Lucy Hawkes wakes up and slides out of bed, undressing and walking through her large house to her bathroom and starts the shower, getting under the flow and sighing as the water helps her wake up. Her white fur falling over the curves of her 18-year-old, lithe, Siamese body. She looks over her self in a mirror mounted on the inside of the shower and blushes at her own body. "I'm so tiny, no wonder no guys ever ask me out." She washes her self and turns off the water, stepping out and grabbing a towel to dry off. She grabs her brush and starts brushing her fur, smoothing it out. Using a comb for both the brown fur and white fur of her face. Her long head fur going down past her shoulders, and her tail, she would need to spend an hour on. After she is done she walks into her bedroom and goes into her closet and gets a black and red skirt with matching blouse and a necklace with a small red heart hanging from it. She walks over to the phone and checks the answering machine, and listens to the message from her mom.
"Hey Lulu, don't forget your dad's birthday is next week, and though he doesn't say it, he would love it if you came by" Yeah right, "Love you sweetie" I love you too mom.
She puts on the clothes and walks downstairs. She grabs her purse and slips her Glock into it. "I'm off to work!" she shouts to an empty house, "I really need to get a roommate or something." She gets in her Jeep Grand Cherokee and drives to her job at Cleo's Fine Dining.
The building doesn't look lie much on the outside but the inside is decorated like a punk rock concert, yet sell more then just burgers and fries. She hops out of the Jeep and walks to the side door and waves to a co-worker on a smoke break. Grabbing her spiked wristbands from her locker and putting them on she walks out and punches in for work.
"Table 3B's food is ready," One of the cooks shouts
"3B, I got it" She shouts out loud and grabs the tray with the food on it and walks out to give the table their order. When she gets to the table she almost drops the tray when she sees the most gorgeous wolf sitting at the table. "Here... here you go sir, your salmon with a baked potato." Oh my god he is so hot.
"Thank you... I'm sorry, you don't have a name tag on so I don't know your name."
She looks down and blushes, "My... my name is Lucy. I must have forgotten to put my tag on when I got in. If you need anything else, just press the call button and ill be by to help you as soon as possible" She walks off fast and grabs her name tag from her locker and pins it on. She goes and takes out a few more orders until the light for 3B comes on. Please don't let it be the same guy. She looks out and her heart drops and sees that it is still him, so she walks out with a smile on, trying to hide her blush as best she can.
"How may I help you sir?" She asks shakily
"You could honor me with a date this Saturday" He asks suddenly, a big smile on his face
"Yes sir... wait.... What?" she looks at him like he just spoke in German
"Would you like to go out with me this Saturday?" He asks, looking into her eyes.
"Um... uh I... I think... sure." She stammers taken off guard before he stands up and hands her a business card and kissing the back of her hand,
"Ill pick you up at 4 P.M. on Saturday then, see you then, Lucy" she puts the card in her purse and goes back to work, working on auto pilot till her shift ends and she drives to her friend Jacob's house.
Jacob is a wolf who used to be in the army but got injured badly and lost the vision in his left eye, and now works as a mechanic and a bodyguard.
"Hey, Lulu" He gives her a big friendly hug, "How are you, It's been a few days since I saw you last."
"Hey, Jake" She giggles as he hugs her, "I know. Things have been busy at work and my mom is still pestering me to go to my Dad's birthday party. God forbid if I ever upset the man."
