Outing in the Vale

Came out longer than intended. Tried to write a bit more sex things outside of my usual tastes, hopefully they didn't come out too bad. Don't really know what I wanna write next, but I do want to write more at the moment.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this for now. Thanks for reading my stuff.

"Hey, Neel, take a look at this."

Neel looked up from his notepad and turned his head towards the Hunter who called him. "What's up?"

The Hunter pointed towards a pinecone shaped, red growth in the ground. "What's that thing?"

"It's a Crimson Fruit. They can grow here because the Rotten Vale's unique soil composition helps them thrive." The Researcher explained thoroughly, watching as the Hunter eyed the plant curiously.

"So it's a fruit huh? Hmm…"

Neel snorted. "I wouldn't, if I were you. It's bitter as all hell. Tastes absolutely awful by itself."

The Hunter frowned. "So why's it called a fruit then? That's pretty misleading." He replied, looking at Neel with a scrunched up face.

"Well, it's actually because-"

But before he could finish, a growl interrupted him, putting the Hunter on edge as he turned his head every which way in an attempt to locate it's source.

The noise didn't startle Neel at all. He recognized the growl immediately and just shook his head.

"Where'd that come from?!" A startled Hunter exclaimed, placing his hand on his Greatsword and getting ready to unsheathe it.

Neel extends his hand, stopping the Hunter. "That's probably not necessary. You know how loud these monsters can get, there's no way to know for sure if it came from around here. Let's move just in case though." The Researcher suggested.

The Hunter nodded, and followed Neel to a separate part of the Vale.

Neel's job was simple. Take a Hunter to the Vale, show them the dangers of it, and how it worked. There were few people better suited for such a job then Neel, he knew the Vale better than a good majority of the Guild. Every nook, shortcut and campsite were all planted firmly within his head. Needless to say, the task was pretty easy for him.

They were now in one of the more open parts of the area, and Neel was explaining to the Hunter the essentials of how to navigate the Vale.

"Remember to stay away from the eastern side of the Vale unless you really need to go there."

"Why?" The Hunter asked, looking towards that direction.

"The air is unclean over there, and filled with tons of nasty things that aren't good for you. If you do need to go, at least try pinching your nose"

The Hunter nodded. "Got it. And what about the monsters? Any specific ones I should watch out for?"

"Hmm… Around here? Maybe some Girros or even Great Girros, aside from that, all the other monsters are usually somewhere…"

Neel paused. Staring at them just from afar, from inside a passageway in the wall, was an Odogaron with some type of meat in his mouth. Even worse, Neel recognized this one all too well, and knew he had to get the Hunter out of here before he could lay eyes on him.

With haste, Neel suddenly grabbed the Hunter by his wrist before he could see the crimson beast behind him, and rushed him elsewhere. Another growl could be heard as they ran.

"Hey! What's going on?" The Hunter questioned, following just behind Neel.

"We've been spotted by one of the bigger threats in this area. I couldn't really make out exactly what it was, but you need to go. Fast."

They kept running until they reached an opening in the veil, where sunlight could seep through some of the cracks above.

"Wait, why do only I need to go? What about you?"

Neel waved his hand dismissively. "Don't worry about me. I know this place like the back of my hand. I'll be fine, you however, might be in danger." He explained, putting two fingers in his mouth and whistling for a wingdrake.

Once it came, Neel waved goodbye and let him take the drake. "I have to do some more research here anyway! I'll see you back at the base soon!" Neel screamed, walking away.

He hesitated for a moment before aiming his Slinger and clutching on. He waved goodbye as he flew into the sky, back to Astera.

As soon as he was out of eyesight, Neel took a deep breath and sighed. Now that the Hunter was gone, he had a completely different issue to address. Neel turned himself back around and walked along the same path he ran through previously.

He was going back to the same place where he saw the Odogaron. Only a couple minutes after tracing his steps, he found him. The very same one he laid his eyes on back in that cave. Looks like the Hunter left just in time.

The crimson beast stepped slowly around Neel, growling a bit as he got closer, showing his sharp canines off to the human.

Neel just furrowed his brow and crossed his arms. "Don't you growl at me. If anything, I should be the one mad here. Do you know how close you were to being caught? You're lucky he left, or else I honestly have no idea how I'd be able to cover for you again."

The Fanged Beast turned away from Neel, emitting a low whimper before gently pressing himself towards the Researcher. He nuzzled against the upset human, understanding he had done something wrong and wanted to apologize.

Neel tried his best to be irritated at the monster, but he couldn't do it. He was doing his dumb "I'm sorry." Act, and damn if it didn't work on him every time.

"...Fine. I guess I can't be mad at you for long. But seriously, you have to be more careful, next time you might not be so lucky." Said Neel, petting the monster as he continued to rub himself into the crook of his neck.

The Odogaron lets out a happy mewl, nuzzling into him one last time before picking up its meat again, and pushing the Researcher towards his nest.

"H-Hey! Hold on buddy, let me think about it first. I've gotta be back to the Guild in at least a couple hours." Neel retorted, pondering if he had enough time to stay here with the monster before going back. Considering how long they usually spend in there, it was probably gonna end up being pretty close.

Neel looked back at the expecting glowing blue eyes of the beast beside him. He'd undoubtedly be very sad if he didn't go with him, something Neel didn't want to see, so he decided to stay. He was worth the risk.

So he stepped aside, and let the monster lead him, walking closely by his side the whole way there. As they walked, Neel couldn't seem to lay his eyes off the beast, who looked back every so often to check if he was still there. Just one of those protective quirks he had.

Neel let out a small laugh at the monsters constant checks. He could be so ridiculous sometimes.

He still remembers how they met. Yes, he remembers that day vividly.

He was waiting at camp for the rest of the Researchers to finish their work, when he heard a noise coming from somewhere below. It sounded weak, almost in pain, so Neel ran down to go see what it was. When he found what it was, the sight shocked him.

It was an Odogaron, but something about it looked… Off. He looked skinny, even more than their kind usually did, and from the looks of it, he was too sickly to even move. Neel knew that the ecosystem of the Vale had gotten more cutthroat as of late. With more predators like Tigrex running around, it must've been even harder to get any food in an already barren area.

The poor thing looked like he was gonna die, soon becoming a part of the Vale like all things did. It wasn't fair. Neel didn't know what came over him, but he ended up dashing back to the camp, stuffing all the meat he could in a bag, and running right back to the monster.

He dumped all the meat from the bag in front of the Odogaron, before running back to camp.

When they got back and asked Neel where all the meat went, he just told them they probably forgot to bring it or something.

A couple weeks later, when Neel was back in the Vale, he came across the same Odogaron from that day.

He looked much healthier, stronger, and even bigger than before; In fact, if Neel had to estimate, he'd say he was now at least a silver crown. Much bigger than most of the other ones in the Vale. He now also had the powerful muscles that Odogaron were known for and from what he saw, he could definitely hold his own against the other monsters that invaded his territory. When the beast had spotted Neel staring at him, he confronted him and… Licked him.

The rest was history. A couple months later, after many more meetups, Neel found himself where he was now. "Dating" an Odogaron, and having a pretty good time doing it.

Finally, they had made it to his monsters nest. It still looked the same as ever, although a few changes were made to it to help accommodate Neel a little more. After all, he did spend a decent amount of time here himself, might as well make it feel like home.

Before Amie could even think of something to do, his Odogaron had tackled him, licking him all over without hesitation.

"Thanks, you big jerk. That's just what I wanted on my clothes, monster slobber." Neel complained, still allowing him to do as he pleased.

The beast then dragged its wet, azure tongue over Neel' mouth, giving him the much more messy version of a kiss, or at least his version of it. Even if it was kind of cute that his monster had started doing this very human thing for him, he still needed to work on his technique. As of right now, it was very sloppy. Not that he minded.

Eventually, he pulled back, picking his meat back up before sitting down with it and getting ready to bite into it. He looked at Neel before tearing into his meal, pushing it towards him a bit with his snout. The Researcher smiled.

It was little things like this that showed that his monster genuinely cared about him, and it wasn't just some weird, monster hormone thing; still, he declined it. It was a nice gesture, but it was still raw meat. Raw meat from the Vale no less, so it probably tasted even worse than it usually would.

He let the monster have his lunch for himself and took a seat beside him, watching peacefully as he ate away.

He thought about their relationship. It was strange, calling a monster that was three times his size his "boyfriend" but it was the best way to describe it. That said, dating an Odogaron, while being worth it, did have its complications from time to time.

Like how he would get so ridiculously jealous whenever Neel would have any other scent on him that wasn't his. He couldn't even take any research missions outside of the Vale because his monster would instantly sniff out all the different scents on him and start growling. He'd then furiously rub himself on the human until all the other smells were gone and replaced with his own. That hasn't happened in quite a while though.

After the monster had finished eating, he was right back on his human, nudging into him gently with low whimpering sounds. Neel reciprocated with more touches, scratching under his chin a bit to really get him going. It must have worked, because next thing he knew, he was pushed onto his back as his monster began licking him once more, sniffing him and beginning to rumble as well.

Neel recognized those rumbles. It was hard not to do, as they usually always led to one very specific thing. Smiling, he placed his hands on each side of his monster's head, caressing him gently as he watched the crimson beast move further down, eventually reaching his belt and beginning to tug at it.

Neel just laughed. "Horndog." He spoke, before reaching down and beginning to unbuckle his pants, a small grin smeared across his face. "Guess it has been a while though, huh? Let's fix that."

With one final movement, Neel took his belt off, mindlessly throwing it to the side and pulling his pants down just enough to reveal his shaft, already at half mast. The Odogaron let out a rumble of approval, dipping his head down and taking a few sniffs of Neel cock before opening his toothy maw and letting his wet, cool tongue glide over the already semi-hard length.

Neel leaned back, absentmindedly caressing the complex grooves of his monster's skin. The Odogaron continued to lick at the shaft with a surprising carefulness before stopping, and lifting his head back up.

Knowing what was next, Neel leaned back even further, and waited. Just as he thought, his monster turned around, backed up, and lowered his taint towards Neel' face, fully expecting him to smell him.

Truth be told, the first time Odogaron had ever presented himself like this to the Researcher, Neel had declined, thinking it to be a bit too much, even for him. However, when he did, his monster became downright dejected.

See, there's many things Researchers still don't know about monsters. They're very complex creatures, even if it may not look like it at times.

Neel could only guess that doing this was a very important gesture to their species, and that by being turned down by someone he cared about deeply, it greatly hurt him.

The memory still haunted Neel. He was an idiot for not indulging in his monster's wants sooner. His monster absolutely did not smell 'bad'. He smelled amazing. And it's ridiculous that he ever made him feel otherwise.

In fact, his Odogaron's scent was rather pleasant when compared to the vale's toxic fumes. He always smelled just like… Himself. He wasn't dirty Neel had seen him routinely washing all the grime and dirt off of himself in one of the reservoirs around the Vale. Still, his musk was always as strong as ever.

As Neel snapped out of his thoughts, he realized the Odogaron was still waiting for his approval, even shaking his rear side to side playfully. The Researcher let out a snort before patting the monsters rear, signaling that he was ready. Finally, the monster lowered himself onto the human.

The Researcher moved closer to take a whiff, before recoiling right back.

"Damn. You uh... You've been working hard today, haven't you?"

The beast growls in response.

"Yeah, sure smells like it..." Good. His smell had grown on Neel over time. And something that he used to do just for his partner's enjoyment eventually became a guilty pleasure for him. With another push, he moved his nose further into the Odogaron's black, musky hole.

True, perhaps his affinity for the larger beast influenced his thoughts a bit, but it didn't really matter. Two things were true to him; that his Odogaron smelled unquestionably heavenly, and that it alone was enough to make him rock hard.

His underside was damp, and reeked of sweat. Neel found that it mixed nicely with his monster's natural, tangy scent. He then took a deep enough whiff that he was sure his monster could feel the air shifting from beneath his rear. He knew he liked that part the most, so why not spoil him a bit? He definitely deserved it after the day he's had.

Just as the Researcher had predicted, his monster loved it. A deep, rumbling sound could be heard, sending vibrations through his body that even the Researcher could feel.

If he was happy now, he was gonna be downright euphoric in a few minutes.

He slipped out from under the beast, earning him an agitated mewl from his still-wanting partner.

"Don't worry, I'm gonna make it up to you. Lay your front side down for me." The Researcher asked, showing his monster what to do with a motion of his hand.

Although still a bit annoyed, the monster obeyed, slanting his head and front legs downwards and raising his flank into the air, moving his boney tail to the side and baring his dark, flexible ring of muscle to his human. Usually, such an aggressive and dominant species as him wouldn't dare submit to someone so much smaller than themselves.

Neel was thankful that the beast trusted him enough to let him have this opportunity.

He moved closer to the seductive sight before him, self-indulgently placing a soft kiss onto his monster's exposed pucker before bringing his hand down and cupping the heavy orbs that hung low between Odogaron's legs. They always felt good in the human's hands. Smooth, with a supple, leather-like texture.

Finishing with that, the Researcher then spreads apart the monsters underside, opening the already inviting passage even more before sticking his tongue out and running it along from the base of his balls, all the way to his flank, where he meticulously licked every drop of sweat from the beasts backside.

Finally, the main course. The human buried his tongue into the monster, earning him another growl. Odogaron, of course, tasted just as good as he smelled. So much so that Neel couldn't help but fervently lick at the puckered hole in front of him, giving it his full attention.

The monster was yelling now. Loudly. His second set of claws had released themselves involuntarily as well, scraping deep, visible gashes into the ground.

The Researcher stopped after noting the copious amounts of pre that was leaking from his monsters now fully unsheathed cock.

"Oh, you're close, aren't you buddy? Let's take care of that then."

Unfortunately, Neel couldn't really have fully penetrative sex with his partner. He was just too big for him, it wouldn't work. At least, not normally. Thankfully, he found a way to somewhat circumvent it, while still giving his monster the feeling he craved.

As per usual, he took his position near a wall, and cupped his hands into a circle shape. The monster followed his lead, propping himself up on the wall with his front paws as he slowly aligned himself with Neel's hands.

The second he felt the humans hand on his cock, he thrusted forward, fucking himself on Neel's palms.

Honestly, it was a bit hard for the Researcher to keep his hands in such a form with the amount of force that was pressing against him, but he managed, somehow. After a few seconds of whimpering and yelping from the beast, he came.

His legs buckled and he could barely hold himself up with how his legs shook. The load was enormous, and ended up all over the walls of his den, staining yet another corner of it.

"That pent up, huh?" Remarked Neel. "Well, good thing you got your fix then. Now, if you could…"

He knew he didn't have to finish his sentence for his partner to know what came last. Even with his still quivering legs, he managed to turn around and spread his back legs for the Researcher. Neel wasted no time, approaching the monster and getting his cock ready for him.

Once he was done, he pushed himself forward, nearly slamming into the monster. Did the Odogaron feel it? Maybe a little, but for Neel, the feeling never got old. He was warm on the inside, very warm. He could never last long once his length was fully inside him, so he pumped slowly, knowing that if he went too fast he'd burst not long after, and he wanted to drag it out, at least longer than he would usually go for.

His favorite part, right after the feeling of getting to top such a large, fearsome monster, was how the Odogaron's shaft flopped beneath him with every thrust. That, and his balls. Swinging under him with so much momentum… Oh how he could withstand this longer.

But he was only human, and after just a minute, he was already at his limit. He pulled out as fast as he could, still leaving drips of his seed inside his partner, slowly flowing from his backside onto the floor beneath them, his mind was everywhere at once.

Neel then collapsed onto the floor with a smile on his face. He was exhausted, as he usually was after this. He was gonna be late today, most likely. He could feel a tinge of guilt from the core of his chest rise up. The Hunter was probably gonna be worried, and he was gonna call someone else, and it was gonna be a whole thing.

Ugghh, just thinking about it made him tired.

In the time it took Neel to think about how to deal with such a situation, the Odogaron had slumped down next to him, laying his head on the humans lap.

"Huh? You tired too, huh?"

The monster growled in a muted tone, pressing himself closer into the Researcher. Neel didn't fight it, and instead shifted a bit so they could both be more comfortable. If he was already late, might as well take some time to enjoy the afterglow.

Before he could really let himself relax however, he heard whining coming from the beast, and one of his paws endlessly rubbing against his hand.

Neel raised an eyebrow curiously, before understanding what he wanted, and rolling his eyes.

"For something that's supposed to be ferocious, you sure are a softie, you know that?" He teased, before carefully taking the Odogarons paw into his hand, carefully, as to not hurt himself with the claws.

Neel looked at the beast under him, now quiet, and sleeping without a worry on his mind in his beloved human's embrace.

'I really should stop spoiling you.' Neel thought to himself, before drifting off with him.

Not even he believed that would ever happen.
