Shelter From The Storm

After Link is stranded in a cave during a rainstorm, he's visited by a familiar face.

I've finally gotten around to playing Breath of the Wild, and it's pretty good. I'd been wanting to write something in it for a while, but couldn't find any inspiration. I finally got it in the form of an obnoxiously long rainstorm, before I figured out that you could pass time at a campfire. The rest, as they say, is history.

I originally intended this to be a shorter, more focused one-shot, after deciding that my last upload was perhaps a little long. And then I wrote 8000 words. Whoops. Anyway, have some Link/Kass shenanigans.

Thunder crashed outside the cave, heralding another wave of rain. Link sighed heavily, poking dismally at the sputtering campfire with a stick. The rain had started early the previous day, quickly turning the loosely packed dirt roads of the region to impassable, sucking mud. After losing one boot to the mud and flooding the second, he’d given up and searched for shelter.

That second boot was still drying, and from the looks of things wouldn’t be carrying him any further. It had dried in a strange shape, and was most certainly not worth the hundred rupees that salesman had charged him for the pair. At least this time he’d been smart enough to carry spares.

Not smart enough to carry a bundle of dry firewood, though. It had taken all of the previous evening and a good part of this day to even get the fire started, and even then the wet wood spat and smouldered in a miserable display that barely put out any heat.

At least his pack was still waterproof, meaning he still had a dry change of clothes. Thank Hylia for small miracles. He might be stuck in a damp, cramped cave with a pathetic excuse for a fire that wasn’t even hot enough to cook anything, with a drenched tunic that was still dripping water onto the cave floor, but at least his socks were dry.

Link leaned back against the cave wall, shifting his pack against the small of his back as a pillow. “Sure, leave your bedroll and heavy stuff here,” he muttered. “The Rito Village is less than a day’s trek away. You’ll travel faster if you keep things light.” He tossed a sodden stick into the sputtering fire. “Jackass. That’s the last time I’m taking travel advice from a stable.”

He tossed another branch from the rapidly shrinking pile, wrinkling his nose as the green wood flung up a fresh plume of white smoke. “Bet he’s never even been there. Most comfortable beds in Hyrule my ass."

A familiar voice from outside caught his attention. “Hello? Anyone in there? Can I come in?”

Link perked up. “Kass? What are you doing out here? Wait, come in first and then answer.”

A blue-feathered head poked up over the rim of the cave’s entrance. “Master Link,” the Rito bard said, a hint of strain to his voice. “It pains me to ask, but I need some assistance. I’m rather heavily laden.”

Link poked his head out into the pouring rain, wincing as it instantly soaked through his hair and ran down his neck, grasped the tall avian under his wings, and heaved. It was only after they’d hauled themselves into the cave that Link noticed the huge pack on his back. “Goddesses, Kass,” Link gasped. “What are you carrying?”

Kass set the pack down on the cave floor with a grunt of effort. “More than I should be. The inn I was staying at felt my songs were insufficient payment for a bed.” He sat down heavily and shook water from his wings. “And so now I use my talents to haul firewood through a storm.”

Link blinked. “Firewood. That entire pack is full of firewood?”

Kass cocked his head in confusion. “Yes. Why are you so suddenly interested?” His eyes alighted on the pathetic, smouldering fire, and his beak curved in a grin. “It’s a tremendous shame,” he said as he opened the pack and scooped out a tightly wrapped bundle of kindling. “The winds were rough, and I was forced to either abandon my cargo or plunge to my death.”

Soon after, the smouldering, smoking excuse for a campfire was replaced by a merry blaze, crackling happily and driving back the damp of the cave. Link turned a skewer of mushrooms over the fire while his stash of nuts and vegetables roasted on a nearby stone. Kass sat a safe distance from the fire, steam rising from his feathers. “I’d nearly forgotten what it felt like to be dry,” the Rito commented, stretching luxuriantly.

“I’d nearly forgotten what it felt like to be warm,” Link replied. “You’re a lifesaver, Kass. I mean it.”

Kass waved a wing. “I was being poorly paid, and it doesn’t seem like I’ll be returning there any time soon.”

They both flinched as lightning struck somewhere close by. “Well,” Link said, “you’re welcome to share the cave until this blows over.” He took the mushroom skewer off the fire and tested one with a knife. “Mushroom?”

The Rito reached out tentatively, then pulled his wing back. “Please tell me you at least have salt.”

“Nope,” Link replied cheerily. “Used the last of it two days ago. Forgot to buy more.”

Kass gave the mushroom a baleful look. “I wouldn’t want to cut into your supplies,” he said carefully. “I’ll have some of my own jerky instead.”

“You are turning down a freshly cooked meal in favor of stale jerky,” Link said.

“I do not wish to be rude,” Kass protested. “I just…” He turned his head away and mumbled something.

“What was that?”

“I said I dislike mushrooms!” Kass snapped, feathers flaring in indignation. He gave the skewer in Link’s hand a disgusted look. “Are you satisfied? I am a bard that travels all of Hyrule, and I cannot palate the single most common forage to be found in its forests.”

Link paused in stunned silence, then erupted in laughter, nearly dropping the fragrant skewer. “It is not that funny!” Kass protested.

Link finally caught his breath. “Kass, I’ve been cooking these for a good half hour. Why didn’t you say anything?”

The Rito fidgeted. “Well, I honestly didn’t think you’d offer me any. You already offered me use of your shelter, so-“

“Kass. I can’t eat all this on my own. Have some roasted nuts or something. I’ll feel like an ass if you don’t. Unless you’re about to tell me you don’t like nuts either.”

“No, no,” Kass protested. “I love nuts.” He picked one up and popped it in his mouth, immediately squawking as it burned his tongue.

Link shook his head and took a bite of his skewer. He frowned as he chewed. It did need salt.

Hours later, the rain hadn’t slowed. Kass occupied himself by playing a few tunes on his concertina. Link attempted to sing along at first, but stopped after noticing it seemed to cause the bard physical pain. Eventually, he put the instrument away and the two swapped stories as the fire burned down to embers. Soon, the conversation was interrupted more and more frequently by yawns.

Finally, Kass began unpacking his sleeping gear while Link banked the fire. While the Rito busied himself with his preparations, Link laid out his dried clothes on the floor and stared at them miserably. It was better than sleeping on bare stone, but by a very narrow margin. He sighed and laid down, using his arm as a pillow and hoping the heat of the fire would offset the chill of the stone. It was going to be a long night.

Kass noticed the Hylian lying down without a bedroll and cocked his head in confusion. “Don’t you have anything to sleep on?” he asked.

Link grunted in reply. “Don’t ask.”

The Rito rolled his eyes. “One would almost think you weren’t properly prepared for this expedition.”

Link didn’t reply. Kass sighed. “My sleeping gear is made for two. You are welcome to share it if you wish. It is not as soft as your Hylian cushions, but it is better than bare rock.”

“I’ve slept on worse,” Link muttered.

Kass clapped his bill in irritation. “You are turning down an offer for comfortable bedding,” he snapped, parroting the Hylian’s earlier comment. “I know Hylians are prideful, but I think this is a bit much.”

“Pride has nothing to do with it,” Link protested. “I just…” He trailed off. Why was he reluctant to share his bedding with the Rito? He’d been a soldier before the Calamity, hadn’t he? He’d have shared bedding with other soldiers in the field several times. Something in his memory whispered… and was gone with a crash of thunder and a gust of cold wind from outside.

He sighed. “Maybe it is pride. Fine. But if you snore, I’m kicking you out.”

Kass snorted. “Rito are not capable of snoring. It is a Hylian affliction.”

Link settled in beside him, and was immediately grateful. While the Rito bedroll didn’t provide much in the way of cushioning, it banished the stone’s chill. And the heat radiating off the avian beside him was… not unwelcome.

Kass draped a blanket over them both and rolled over to face away from him. “Good night, Master Link,” he said.

Link watched the dancing flames of the campfire. “G’night, Kass.”

He wasn’t sure what woke him up first: the snoring or the feeling of feathers against his back. Link blinked and tried to push the fog from his mind as he fought to process what he was feeling. Finally, his sleep-addled mind realized Kass had rolled over some time in the night and was now spooning against him, snoring into his ear. Link sighed. “Hylian affliction, eh?” he muttered.

The fire had burned down as well. For a few minutes, Link watched the fading embers, loath to leave the island of warmth under the blanked, but the damp from outside was starting to creep in. He finally shifted and moved to stoke up the fire, and then discovered a second complication: Kass had wrapped his wings around him. He could probably get out of the Rito’s grip, but not without the risk of elbowing him in the face, which would be poor payment for his help.

Link shifted slightly to see if he could get out of Kass’ grip more gently, but the Rito responded by mumbling something incoherent and pulling him back towards his own larger body. And that’s when Link discovered a third complication: something long, warm and hard that was now pressing against the small of his back.

He blushed furiously as he realized what it was. And his blush immediately deepened when Kass mumbled again and ground his hips into Link, rubbing that bulge along his rump and back. Worse, the Rito’s wings were starting to roam, trailing down his chest and along his abdomen.

Panicking, Link reached up with his free arm and caught the wing before it reached his crotch. But Kass just let out a very un-Kass-like growl and ground into him harder, fastening his wandering wing onto Link’s hip, a scant few inches from the raging erection that was tenting Link’s own pants-

Link froze. Wait, why was he hard? This was a humiliating position for both of them! They were both males. There was no way he should be getting turned on by this.

But then Kass’ cock throbbed against his back, and Link felt his own give an answering throb. He ignored it and focused on how to extricate himself without waking up Kass and making things even more awkward.

Meanwhile, Kass was having a lovely dream. He was home in Rito Village, his master’s task completed, and finally holding his wife in his arms after too long spent apart. He tightened his grip on her and ground his maleness against her shapely rump, pulling her as close to him as he could. “I missed you so much,” he whispered into her ear.

She shuddered in reply and ground her own hips back against his. He rumbled in approval and let his wings roam over her body. For some reason she was smaller than she should be, but dreams and internal logic were rarely close friends. He ignored the inconsistency and let his wing trail down over her flat chest, down her toned abdomen, and teasingly bypassed her sex to instead grab her hip and pull her into him.

It seemed that he’d pushed his teasing too far, though, because after he did that she started pulling away. Obviously, the only reason she’d do so would be to take things into her own feathers and take charge of their reunion, but Kass wasn’t in the mood for that, however much he’d love to let her take control. No, he decided to give her exactly what she wanted and moved his wing from her hip straight to her crotch, where her throbbing cock tented out against her pants-

Wait, cock?

Kass snapped awake, blearily trying to remember where he was. A campfire long since burned down to coals glowed a dull red past the warm body that he held close against him, a warm body that belonged to someone important…

Everything came back to him in a rush and Kass suddenly realized he was holding the Hylian Champion’s throbbing malehood. He squawked in surprise and flung himself back. Link yelped in answering surprise and scrambled out from under the blanket.

“I’MGONNASTOKETHEFIRE!” Link gabbled, at the same time as Kass babbled a frantic apology. They froze, neither of them having understood a word the other had said.

Kass spoke first. “I apologize,” he stammered. “I was dreaming and thought you were my wife and I’d never… that isn’t to say I don’t find you…” He forced his beak shut after realizing he was just digging himself deeper.

“No, it’s fine!” Link replied, stacking logs on the coals with trembling hands. “This was a bad idea. I’ll just… sleep by the fire.”

“No, it was my fault!” Kass sputtered. “Take the bedroll. I’ll keep watch.”

Just then, the wind changed direction and rain boiled into the cave. The fire steamed and went out, and Link was soaked to the skin almost instantly. Only Kass and the firewood, at the back of the cave, were safe. As quickly as it started, the wind swept back out, leaving Link standing over a dying fire holding a soaked log, water dripping off of him. Fury bubbled up inside him and without a word, he reared back and threw the log at the wall of the cave as hard as he could. It bounced off something in the dark and splashed into the pool of water that now covered most of the cave.

In an eyeblink, Kass swept up behind him and wrapped his wings around him. “Breathe,” the Rito said.

Link snarled and clenched his jaw, readying himself to slam an elbow into Kass’ sternum and throw the Rito off of him, but before he could Kass tightened his grasp. “Breathe,” he said again, with some iron in his tone.

Link closed his eyes and sucked in a deep breath. Everything in him wanted to release it in a savage scream of rage, but instead he held it until the urge subsided. He let it out evenly. “You can let me go now,” he said quietly.

Kass released him. “Apologies,” he said. “I’ve never seen you lose your temper like that and I did not wish for you to do anything rash.”

Link chuckled. “You’re just afraid I was about to kick you out into the rain.”

“I was more concerned that you’d kick something and hurt yourself, but I suppose that was also a concern.” Kass hesitated. “So… do you wish to talk about…”

“No,” Link said. “You were dreaming. It’s fine. Doesn’t mean anything. We stopped before it got out of hand, so… it’s fine.”

“I don’t mean to push, but your reaction suggests it’s not fine.”

Link clenched his fists and sat down, realizing too late he was sitting in an inch of rainwater. “I just… there’s a lot that I still don’t remember and I’m… let’s just say there are a lot of things I’m still confused about.”

Kass crouched down beside him, very carefully not trailing anything into the water. “I wish I could say I understand,” he said carefully. “Because I don’t. But if it is any comfort, I have taken male lovers in the past. It is not something strange, not to the Rito at least."

“That’s not the problem,” Link muttered.

Kass blinked. “Then what is?”

“I don’t know!” Link snapped, his voice rising to a shout on the last word. “I don’t remember, just like everything else!” He fell silent, trembling. Kass left him be, knowing that he was dangerously close to pushing too hard. The wind swept in twice more, each time bringing a deluge of rain and dousing the fire more thoroughly, and it didn’t seem like it was going to stop. It wasn’t long before Link started shivering.

“Th-th-this is a m-m-miserable n-night, huh?” Link asked through chattering teeth. He tensed as he felt a weight settle on his shoulder.

“It doesn’t have to be,” Kass said. “Come on. Get those wet things off. I’ll worry about the fire.”

“Don’t even have the decency to let me wallow in self-pity?”

“I allowed you ten minutes of wallowing,” Kass said, pulling Link to his feet. “And all it got you was hypothermia. And I’m not letting the Hylian Champion lose himself to cold of all things.”

Link barked out a laugh. “Fine. You win. Just… don’t look.”

“We are in a cave without a fire. I could look straight at you and I wouldn’t see a thing.”

Hesistantly, then with growing confidence, Link stripped out of his sodden clothes, tossing them on the cave’s floor in a wet pile. Naked, he shook as much water off his skin as he could and padded over to where Kass’ blanket lay crumpled against the cave wall. He settled down on the bedroll and wrapped it around himself as Kass busied himself with the fire.

Soon, the Rito had constructed a rough shield out of spare firewood and had a coal burning in a bundle of tinder. The wind swept in again, and although Kass took the water head-on, the wooden wall blocked the worst of it and shielded the growing fire. Soon, Kass was adding kindling to the mix, although Link noticed he kept glancing over at him. Link smiled in reply, trying to put him at ease.

Eventually, Kass was satisfied with the fire and arranged Link’s clothes so they would dry again. He padded over and sat beside Link on the bedroll. “You picked a pretty awful cave,” he observed.

“You could have picked any other one,” Link retorted.

“Touche. Feeling better, I take it?”

Link nodded. “I’m sorry about earlier. I don’t usually… you know, lose it. Like that.”

Kass shrugged. “Everyone slips sometimes. May I have some of the blanket?”

Link froze. “Uh… I’m still naked, you know.”

Kass cocked his head. “So?” When Link didn’t immediately reply he blinked in realization. “Ah. Yes. Hylians. You are uncomfortable in your skin for some reason.”

Link hoped the firelight would help hide his blush. “Something like that.”

“Would it help if I was naked too?”

“What?” Link yelped, but Kass was already disrobing. He hastily looked away as Kass slid his leggings off, catching only a glimpse of his impressive, pink, very thick malehood.

“You can look if you are curious,” Kass said as if nothing was wrong. “I am also curious about what you Hylians look like under your clothes.”

“I’m… I’m not curious,” Link stammered, but immediately realized that he was. Very curious. Dry-mouthed, he snuck a glance, and quickly looked away. Did Kass really have to splay his legs like that?

Kass churred in amusement. “Relax. You are so tense. Nothing about this is dangerous.” Link stiffened further as the tips of Kass’ wing feathers trailed over his shoulders. “It is warm enough now that you don’t need the blanket.” He stood and moved behind Link, taking a seat behind him. He was just close enough that Link could feel his heat, but not so close that he could make out any detail through the blanket.

Kass’ wings wound around Link’s shoulders and started plucking at the blanket, drawing it back. Link allowed him to pull it back from around his shoulders, baring his upper body. Kass looked down at his chest from behind him. “You truly are a soldier,” the Rito said, his voice catching slightly. He traced a feather over one of the many scars that crossed Link’s torso, the scars that he didn’t remember accumulating. Link shuddered at the contact.

“So strange,” Kass continued, tracing feathers aimlessly over Link’s chest. “No feathers, no scales, nothing at all to protect your skin. Such fragile creatures. And yet…”

Kass’ voice and his movements, along with the heat of the fire and the exhaustion of the night were lulling Link into a slight trance. It was only when Kass started pulling at the fabric that covered his crotch that Link came back to his senses. He grabbed the section of blanket in question and held it in place. “Please stop,” he whimpered.

Kass paused, but removed his wings. He didn’t move from behind Link, though. “Why are you so afraid to let me see you?” he asked. “And why are you so afraid to look at me?”

“It’s… it’s not… I shouldn’t be…” Link stammered.

“Shhhh. I have a theory,” Kass mused. “I think you’ve never taken a lover. I think you’re so used to fighting that you don’t know how to let anyone get close to you.”

Link opened his mouth, then closed it again. No memories burst forth, but something about Kass’ words rang true. Deep down, he knew the Rito was right.

“I don’t know what to do,” he said quietly.

Kass rested his wings on Link’s shoulders and pulled him back against him. “I can show you,” he said.

Link hesitated. And then nodded.

“The first thing you need to do,” Kass said, “is relax. You’re still tense. Too tense.” He rubbed Link’s shoulders, pushing the blanket further down his naked arms. “Just focus on my voice,” he continued, pressing his chest feathers into Link’s back and easing the blanket further down his slim frame.

With one wing, he stroked Link’s chest while he loosened the fabric around his waist with the other. Link closed his eyes and focused on breathing. With a shuddering exhale, his shoulders loosened. “Just like that,” Kass breathed, noting that while Link was relaxing, something else was definitely stiffening: the Hylian’s respectable manhood was making its presence known.

Moving deftly, Kass eased the blanket back, first exposing the edge of Link’s hairless balls, then the base of his shaft, and finally allowing his throbbing erection to flop out into the open. The wing that was rubbing Link’s chest drifted lower, tickling his sternum, then his abdomen, before reaching out to grasp his-

Link abruptly reached up and grabbed Kass’ wing. “Wait,” he said. “Before you… I need to know. Are you doing this just because of what I am?”

Kass cupped Link’s chin and tilted it up so he could look into his eyes. “I wouldn’t be doing this if I didn’t want you.”

“But do you want me? Or do you just want the hero, the Champion?” The desperation in Link’s eyes sent a pang through Kass’ chest.

“I want you,” Kass replied without hesitation. He shifted. “But I should tell you something. I know what you want right now, and I can’t give it to you. I can’t love you.”

Link flinched. “I have a wife and children,” Kass continued. “I only have so much room in my heart. We have no future together, so divest yourself of that notion now.”

Link sighed. “I know it’s silly. I just thought-“

“Of course you did. You’re young. And the young always love too easily. But regardless of what you feel right now, you don’t love me. You are vulnerable, and scared, and it’s been too long since anyone has touched you. You are in turmoil, and you are mistaking that for love.”

“So why are you doing this?”

Kass chuckled. “Because you don’t have to love someone to want them.” He trailed a wingtip down Link’s front again, quicker this time. “You don’t have to love someone to share your body with them.” He leaned in and nipped at Link’s pointed ear, growing acutely aware that the only thing that separated their naked bodies was a thin, flimsy traveling blanket.

Link gasped as Kass finally brushed a feather against his naked cock, and moaned when the Rito cupped his malehood, balls and all, in his wing. “And because I want you, Link,” Kass breathed.

“B-But your wife-“ Link stammered.

“Isn’t here right now,” Kass growled. Now that he had his prize quite literally in hand, there was no way he was letting it go. “What I do have here is a kind, courageous, heroic and very sexy Hylian.”

Link threw his head back and moaned, and Kass quickly let go of his throbbing cock. Instinctively, Link reached down to stroke himself, but Kass grabbed his wrists and stopped him, holding him until he backed off from the edge. “Bit of a hair trigger, aren’t you?” Kass remarked. “Have you taken care of yourself at all since you’ve woken up?”

Link opened his mouth and closed it again. Now that he thought about it, he hadn’t.

“Well, well,” Kass said huskily. “When I thought I’d be the first to touch you like this, I didn’t realize that would include yourself. Don’t worry,” he continued, fondling the Hylian’s cock again. “I won’t make you beg for it.” He leaned closer. “But that doesn’t mean I won’t have you mewling by the time I let you cum.”

By now their combined musk was starting to overwhelm the smell of woodsmoke. Kass’ own untouched cock was pressing urgently into the blanket covering Link’s back, leaking precum into the fabric. “Why don’t we lose the blanket and get a bit closer,” Kass breathed. Link surprised even himself by lifting his hips and pulling the last scrap of fabric between them free and settling back against the Rito. He deliberately pressed his back against Kass’ cock, noting that it reached from the small of his back right to his shoulder blades.

“Why don’t you take a closer look,” Kass murmured. “Maybe give it a taste. I know you want to.”

Hesitantly, Link turned around and bent down so his eyes were level with the Rito’s massive balls. He stared at Kass’ imposing malehood in wonder. His right testicle was easily the size of Link’s entire scrotum, and his cock was more than twice as large as Link’s own. The pink shaft tapered slightly toward the end, and pulsed with the Rito’s heartbeat, a drop of precum working its steady way down toward his groin.

“It’s huge,” Link said. “I don’t…” He looked up at Kass. “Will it fit?”

Kass reached down and gently rested a wing on Link’s head, then abruptly yanked him forward so his face was pressed against his aching cock. “We’ll never know until we try, will we?”

Link wanted to protest the sudden rough treatment, but he felt a strange thrill at the way Kass was taking charge. And besides, he trusted Kass. The Rito had never done anything but help him. So instead of resisting, he inhaled Kass’ musk straight from the source.

And was almost immediately drunk on it. His pupils dilated, his cock jumped and drooled a string of precum, and his mouth filled with saliva. He suddenly wanted nothing more than to have that cock inside him, whatever it took.

He dove on Kass’ cock bathing it with his tongue, catching the line of precum and frantically following it to its source, fastening both hands around the massive shaft to get all the leverage he needed to thrust it into his mouth…

As if from a great distance, he felt Kass’ wings on either side of his head, pulling him away, and a voice calling his name.

“Link!” he finally heard. “Come to your senses!”

Link blinked, and like a bubble popping, the spell was broken. Kass released his head, panting. “I had heard we had that effect of Hylians, but I had no idea it could be that strong.”

“Why…” Link swallowed the trace of salt in his mouth and immediately wanted more. “Why did you stop me?”

“I want you to be in control of yourself,” Kass said. “I want you to give yourself to me, not turn into an addled slut.”

Link flushed in shame. “I’m sorry. I just…”

“I know. It was partly my fault. I didn’t give you any time to acclimate. Try again, but slowly. And keep your head.” The wing returned to Link’s head and pulled him closer again. Link closed his eyes and inhaled, and again, the smell seemed to go straight to his cock… but while it intensified things, it didn’t seem to have the same effect.

He reached out and grasped Kass’ cock again, rubbing it experimentally. Growing more confident, he moved in and tongued the shaft, stroking in time with his pulsing tongue. “Just like that,” Kass breathed. “You’re doing well.”

Emboldened, Link moved his way up Kass’ shaft to the tapered head, running his tongue over the tip. The spire of flesh throbbed in his grasp, and a drop of precum swelled at the end of the Rito’s cock. Link lapped it up, savouring the taste of salt, and wrapped his lips around the very tip to get the next drop from the source.

With increasing confidence, Link pressed more of Kass’ cock into his mouth, feeling inch after inch sliding in over his tongue… until he hit the back of his throat and gagged. He pulled off and noted with dismay that he’d barely been able to take a quarter of the Rito’s cock.

Eager to make up for his lack of skill with enthusiasm, he wrapped his lips around Kass’ shaft again and bobbed up and down, adding tongue movement whenever he thought it would feel good. If Kass’ moans and the steady pressure of the wing at the back of his head were any indication, he was doing just fine. Link’s own cock was throbbing, neglected and drooling pre onto the stone floor. But he didn’t mind; Kass’ magnificent shaft demanded all his focus.

Soon, too soon, the wing that was pressing Link down against the Rito’s cock switched to pulling him off it. Link sat back on his haunches, panting, and looked up at Kass in confusion. Kass was also panting, the feathers along his crest fluffed high with excitement. “It has been a long time for me as well,” Kass panted. “I do not wish to end this too early.” He nodded toward Link’s cock. “And I think you deserve some attention as well.”

Link shot a worried look at Kass’ beak. The Rito saw the look and chuckled. “Yes, I’m aware I’m not very well equipped to pleasure you that way. However, that’s not my only option. Go to my pack. Third pocket on the left. There should be a vial of – yes, that’s the one.”

Link walked back, staring at the vial in confusion. It was a pale, pink liquid, much like a fairy tonic in consistency. “What is it?” he asked.

“A lovemaking agent,” Kass explained. “Rub it onto yourself. It lessens friction against flesh.”

Link poured some of it onto his cock and rubbed it in as directed. True to Kass’ words, it was quite slippery. “I’m not sure what the point of this is.”

Kass patted a spot on the blanket. “Lie down.” He suddenly grinned. “And close your eyes. Don’t open them until I say so.”

Link hesitantly did so. As soon as he closed his eyes, he heard Kass move. Suddenly, he felt a wing grasp his cock and stroke it a couple times. Then something else feathery, with quite a bit of weight, was rubbing against it. Link shifted, wanting to open his eyes, but also not wanting to spoil the surprise. Maybe Kass was rubbing his chest against him? Except there was a source of heat there, a single, yielding point that was devoid of feathers and warmer than everything else.

The wing grasped his cock again, holding it straight up. It touched that point of heat again, and then Kass gasped, and an indescribable warmth and tightness surrounded Link’s cock. It continued down Link’s shaft until a weight settled on his thighs and Kass rested his wings against Link’s chest. “You can open you eyes now,” Kass said.

Link opened his eyes, blinked at Kass’ face above him, looked down to where his massive cock was about to dribble precum onto his chest, and then his eyes widened when he saw where their bodies joined.

His cock was buried in Kass’ rear. He was balls deep in the Rito’s ass. “How does it feel?” Kass asked.

“Pretty good,” Link managed. “Hot. Very hot. I can feel…” He closed his eyes again, concentrating. “I can feel your heartbeat inside you.”

“Well, then how about this?” At that, Kass lifted himself halfway off Link’s cock and dropped himself back down. Link gasped as every inch of his shaft was suddenly, intensely massaged.

“Oh goddesses,” he managed. “I’m not… I’m not going to last very long.”

Kass started to bounce on Link’s cock, his own shaft bobbing with the momentum. “Stay focused,” he said. “Stop me if you need to. But don’t… you… dare… cum!” He increased the force of his bounces with every word until his cock was slapping against Link’s chest with every bounce.

Link whimpered and closed his eyes as Kass’ muscles continued to work over his cock. Suddenly, he felt the telltale sensation of an approaching orgasm and his eyes shot open. For an instant he wanted to slam Kass’ hips down, thrust his own upwards and fill the Rito’s ass with his cum… but then Kass’ earlier words got through the wall of instinct. “Kass,” he gasped. “Too much. Stop.”

Kass froze on an upward stroke, but wobbled, off balance, and slid a half-stroke downwards. Link groaned, and felt his cock throb once, twice… and then he managed to back off from the point of no return.

Kass looked down at him quizzically. “I felt you pulse,” he said. “Did you…?”

Link shook his head. “No,” he replied. “It was close, though. Too close.”

The Rito’s beak curved in a smile. “You’re an obedient one. I like that.” He carefully settled down on Link’s cock so that his weight was on the Hylian’s hips again. “While you calm yourself down, make yourself useful.” He pressed his cock down and Link realized for the first time just how close it was to his face. Without further prompting he leaned forward and wrapped his lips around the Rito’s cock again. Then angle made it difficult to do too much, but he was able to do enough to set Kass moaning again, and get his ass flexing rhythmically around his cock.

Without seeming to realize it, Kass started thrusting into Link’s mouth. The consequence of this was that it cause his ass to start moving over Link’s cock again. For a moment, Link was in ecstasy, but it sent him hurtling toward his orgasm again.

It was only a few more thrusts before Link started feeling the tightness in his balls again. “Mmph!” he said around Kass’ cock, but the Rito was deaf to the world and had given up all pretenses of giving Link a break, riding his cock with abandon.

Link finally managed to get Kass’ cock out of his mouth, but only had time to let out a wordless cry as his orgasm hit with the force of a mountain. His cock flexed, and started filling Kass’ rear with pulse after pulse of heavy Hylian cum. After the first couple throbs, Kass recognized what was happening, impaled himself fully and leaned forward to croon into Link’s ear as he continued filling his ass, rocking his hips back and forth to thoroughly milk him.

Finally, Link came down from his high. “Wow,” he said breathlessly.

“See what you are missing out on?” Kass asked.

Link nodded. “I think I’m getting an idea.”

“Good,” Kass replied. “Because I’m not done.” He lifted himself off Link’s cock, which flopped back against his stomach, and sat back between the Hylian’s legs. Kass’ cock rose imposingly over Link’s own, and his position between his legs left no doubt as to what he was planning.

Link swallowed. “Are you sure? I don’t think you’ll-“

“You Hylians worry too much,” Kass interrupted, picking up the vial and pouring a good measure over his own shaft. “But if you’re still worried, this substance has special properties.” He moved forward so his tapered tip kissed Link’s puckered hole. “I couldn’t hurt you with this even if I wanted to.” He thrust his hips forward slightly, gently prodding at Link’s entrance. “And I don’t want to hurt you. I want you to enjoy this.”

He lifted Link’s legs and pushed his knees into his chest, exposing his vulnerable hole further. “Such breedable hips,” Kass observed. “From this angle, you could pass as a female.” He paused. “Albeit a particularly muscular one.”

Link looked away and mumbled something. “What was that?” Kass asked.

“I already did,” Link said quietly. “When I snuck into the Gerudo village, I had to disguise myself.”

Kass paused, and then grinned widely. “I would very much like to see you in this disguise,” he said, dragging his cock between Link’s glutes with agonizing slowness. “But first, I want to see you spread wide around my cock.”

He dragged his malehood down so the point was just touching Link’s ring, and took the Hylian’s hand with his other wing. “Squeeze if it’s too much,” he said, and started to thrust.

He started slow, just prodding at first, and then with more and more force until he was keeping up a steady pressure, wearing the muscle down and gradually spreading the Hylian open. Link bit his lip as first just the very tip, and then a mere half inch of Kass’ cock breached his walls and slipped into him.

“I keep telling you,” Kass said, lowering his head so his face was inches away from Link’s. “Relax.” He withdrew his cock slightly, giving Link a moment to breathe.

Link closed his eyes and took a breath, letting himself go slack. And in that moment, Kass struck, sinking several inches of his cock into Link’s ass. He cried out in surprise, but to Kass’ pleasure didn’t squeeze his wing. “Good boy,” Kass breathed, sliding another inch in. “Take my cock.”

Link moaned in mixed pain and pleasure as yet more of the Rito’s shaft slid into his depths. It felt so full. And while the sudden stretch was far from painless, Kass’ lovemaking agent made it so much more bearable. Kass pushed his hips back further, so that Link could see where their bodies joined. Link’s heart sank when he saw that he’d barely taken a quarter of the avian shaft.

“It’s not going to fit, is it?” he said in a strained voice.

Kass reached down and stroked his cheek. “It will. But I need you to trust me now.”

Link gasped out a laugh. “I wouldn’t be letting you do this if I didn’t trust you-“

His word turned into a howl as Kass tightened his grip on Link’s hips and pulled him back onto his shaft with all his might, sinking the rest of his cock into Link’s ass in a mere moment.

“St… Stop…” Link sobbed, unable to catch his breath. He tried to squirm free, but he couldn’t shift the Rito’s bulk in his position.

“Ssshhh,” Kass replied, holding the Hylian in his wings. “It will fade. The hardest part is done.”

True to his words, the pain faded quickly, replaced by a feeling of overwhelming fullness. “It’s so much,” he gasped.

“Yes, it is,” Kass replied, his voice tight. “And you feel fantastic. It is taking everything I have not to pound you into the floor.”

For a moment Link imagined himself in just that position, fucked into a senseless mess, and shivered. His cock flexed and Kass smiled. “I felt that,” he said. “If I did not know better, I would say you liked that idea. But not now. I do not wish to break you.”

Link looked down at the bulge in his stomach where Kass’ cock pushed out against his insides. “I think you already have.”

“Oh, Link,” Kass said, flexing his hips and making the Hylian yelp. “You have no idea what it means to be truly broken.” He rolled his hips again. “But for now I will simply teach you what it means to be fucked.”

Link had a moment to brace himself before he felt Kass’ cock begin to withdraw. He pulled out halfway, and then pushed back in, grinding against a stop that sent electricity through every one of Link’s limbs. He heard a voice cry out in a high, almost feminine pitch and was surprised to realize it was him.

“I think I hit something you like,” Kass commented, thrusting again. Link only avoided crying out again by biting his lip. “No, no, none of that,” the Rito said in response. “Sing for me. Let me hear your voice.”

With that he started thrusting faster and with more force, his heavy balls smacking against Link’s rump. Link tried to muffle his cries, but the harder he tried to keep quiet the more it seemed Kass tried to make him squeal. Before long, he had given up and every one of Kass’ thrusts was punctuated by a full-voiced cry of ecstasy.

Suddenly, the fullness in his rear was replaced by a yawning emptiness as Kass pulled out. “Whuh?” he protested. “Put it back!”

“Eager, are we?” Kass said. “I simply wanted a change of position. Get on your front. Hands and knees.”

Link scrambled to obey, wiggling his rear in what he hoped was an enticing manner. From the rapid intake of breath behind him, he knew he’d at least partly succeeded. Within moments, Kass’ pointed tip was pressing insistently at his hole again. It slipped in easily, his fatigued muscles giving way with little fight.

Link braced himself for the surge of pleasure that would hit him when the avian cock ground over that mysterious spot inside him… but Kass stopped just short of it. Link moaned in frustration and tried to push back against it, but Kass moved back with him, preventing him from impaling himself.

“Tell me what you want,” the Rito said.

“Kaaaass,” Link whined. He yelped as Kass brought a wing down on one of his cheeks with a smack.

“What. Do. You. Want?”

Link hung his head. “Fuck me,” he said in a small voice.

“Pardon?”

“I said fuck me!” Link shouted. “Fuck me until I can’t walk straight! Stick your cock all the way in me and use me as your slutty cocksleeve!”

“Your dirty talk needs work,” Kass commented. “But how can I ignore such a heartfelt plea?” He fastened his wings around Link’s hips. “Brace yourself.”

Link barely had time to process the words before Kass lunged forward, sinking himself into Link’s ass to the hilt. He barely had a chance to cry out before the Rito pulled out and drove in again, the momentum sending him lurching forward and slapping Kass’ own cum-filled orbs against Link’s.

The pace Kass set was punishing, driving his cock into the Hylian with a force that would have him genuinely worried if it weren’t for the strengthening properties of the lovemaking agent. As it was, Link merely thrashed in pleasure, sucking in a breath with each withdrawal before having it driven out of him by the next thrust.

Kass moved up to fasten his wings around Link’s chest, pushing the Hylian’s hips back against his with even more force. Suddenly, Link stiffened as another orgasm rushed up on him. “Kass, wait, I- Ah!”

One more thrust pushed him over the edge, and his untouched cock erupted, spilling his cum onto the stone floor of the cave. “Ah! Ah! Ahh!” Link cried out, as Kass continued to thrust into him.

“Yes, my little Hylian,” Kass hissed. “Cum around my cock. This is where you belong. Bent over for other males, spilling your seed on the ground, nothing more than a receptacle for their pleasure!”

Link closed his eyes and moaned, barely registering Kass’ words. But in some way, they were right. Something felt right about this. Maybe this was where he belonged.

“I so wish you could carry eggs,” Kass continued. “I would keep you with me and fuck you every day until you had my clutch. Me and every other Rito in the Village. And you’d love it, wouldn’t you?” He raised his voice. “Wouldn’t you? Answer me!”

“Yes!” Link howled. “I’d love it! I want all of them to fuck me, and make me their slut!”

“Gah! Fuck!” Kass yelled, slamming himself in to the hilt. His cock throbbed and Link’s eyes widened as he felt the first pulse of cum shoot inside him. Kass tightened his grip and spastically rolled his hips again, thrusting deep inside with every throb of his cock. Every thrust was slicker, as Link was filled with more and more of the Rito’s cum.

Link’s arms and legs gave out and he collapsed onto the cave floor. Kass fell on top of him, and if anything pumped harder. Finally, the rhythmic pulsing of Kass’ cock ceased, replaced by the regular throb of his pounding heart. Even that began to fade as his cock softened.

They lay there for a long while as they recovered their breath. Link was the first to speak.

“Wow,” was all he was able to get out.

Kass groaned and pulled back. “Are you all right? I feel I got a little carried away toward the end.”

Link shook his head. “No, no, it was- Ah!” He cried out as Kass pulled his softening cock free, releasing a torrent of avian cum that coated his drained balls and inner thighs. “It was fine,” he repeated.

Kass sat back. “I must apologize,” he said. “I don’t usually get… like that.”

Link rolled over. “Kass, it’s fine. I… kinda liked it.”

The Rito fidgeted. “Even… the part about the Village?”

Link hesitated. “Well… there’s uh…” He blushed and looked away. “I don’t think I’d mind trying it. Once or twice. Goddesses, I can’t believe I’m saying that.”

“You did seem to take to me quickly,” Kass mused. “Perhaps I was wrong about your previous lack of lovers.”

Something flickered in the back of Link’s head… and was gone. He sighed heavily. “Either way… thank you.”

“My pleasure,” Kass replied. “And should we end up sharing a cave again in the future, I would not object to an encore.”

Link stretched. “Neither would I,” he said, then suddenly yawned. “Maybe, uh… maybe we should try to sleep, though.”

The rest of the night passed uneventfully. Link quickly fell asleep, nestled against Kass’ chest feather. Kass himself stayed awake a while longer, watching the flames as the Hylian’s chest rose and fell against his, idly trailing a wingtip back and forth over his shoulder. For a moment, he wasn’t a hero, or a champion, or the one fated to save the world. He was just a scared, confused boy.

It was the least Kass could to to offer him some comfort. So he held the Hylian as he slept, as the rain slackened and stopped. Come morning, the skies would be clear, and they would go their separate ways.

But for now they just stayed together, warm in each other’s arms.

Wake up. You have slept too long.

Not yet. I’m still tired.

It is time.

Can’t it wait?

He is here.

Slowly, high above Hyrule, the scattered pieces of a will long passed reassembled themselves. It took time, but it was driven by the last words echoing in what remained of the will’s mind.

He is here.

Finally, the spirit of Revali had awakened enough to remember his name. It took longer still to forge the remnants of his will into a body. For a moment, if someone with the right sort of sight had looked toward the Divine Beast circling over the Rito Village, they would have seen another Rito, one pictured on reliefs throughout the kingdom, one that in days long past was called a Champion.

“Welcome back, Link,” he said, looking toward the cave where he still slept.

“Took you long enough.”
