Author's note: Hello everyone. After a long wait here's chapter 4 and as always comments, thoughts, and constructive criticism are welcome.

PS: Okay... typing this long after having originally typed this story and series. I originally started off with this just to see if writing a story was any fun. It was. However I really hadn't put much thought into this series, and because of that it suffered greatly. Pacing, plot development, character development, and relationships were all... well crap. This series has a TON of flaws.

However, I am continuing it eventually as I had a lot of fun writing this, but I won't be treating it as a serious work, just as a series to experiment, and see what kind of whacked up craziness I can come up with.

CHAPTER 4: Betrayal?

"Um... What the hell just happened?" asks Marli.

"I don't know but that son of a bitch took my bacon!" I grumble as I get up.

"Well then make some more." Alex says laughing as he tosses me a bag of bacon from the fridge. Still grumbling I place the strips on the pan and soon the sound of sizzling bacon fills the room again. Because of that strange incident the pancakes were done at the same time as the bacon. Alex rummages around for some plates and silverware and hands some to Marli and I once he finds some. Once we'd finished gorging our food we knew that it was time to leave the hotel and make our way towards the medical pavilion. Leaving our dirty dishes on the counters we gathered our supplies and met in the lobby next to Alex's barricade.

"So do you really want to spend time taking this apart," I ask "or do you just want Marli and I to torch it?"

"No we should definitely take it apart." Alex replies quickly. "If you two set it on fire you could burn down this whole hotel." We all agree to his logic and begin to disassemble the barricade. It didn't take long until the furniture was in a big lopsided pile in the sitting room.

"Okay, let's get moving." Marli says as she opens the door leading back to the main sections of Rapture, only to close it a second later. "Oh, shit!" she says in a panicked voice.

"What is it?" I ask worried.

"Well, there's a massive horde of Splicers sleeping right out side of here." I crack open the door ever so slightly and take a peek down the glass hallway. I too begin to feel panic from what I saw. Dozens of Splicers were sleeping along the hallway packed so close there was no way to sneak around them without waking them up. Them being so packed together gave me an idea.

"Don't do anything I'll be right back." I tell my friends as I make a dash back to the kitchen. I open the fridge grab three bottles of vodka and place them on the counter. I grab some rags from the dishwashing area and place them next to the bottles as well. I use the scales on my forearm to pop the tops off of the bottles and stuff a rag in the neck of each one. Grabbing the improvised Molotov Cocktails I return to Alex and Marli at the door.

"Molotovs?" Alex asks when he sees what I'm carrying. I nod and tell them to get ready. I give a quick burst of flame from my mouth to light the rag on one of the bottles and I toss it through the door where it lands right in the middle of the group of sleeping Splicers. Now because the molotovs I made used alcohol as the fuel they didn't do nearly as much damage as they would've if they'd been using gasoline or petrol. Even so the first Molotov managed to catch a good number of the Splicers on fire and then the mob woke up in confusion as they ran around screaming as they were on fire, or running to avoid the small wall of flame that had popped up.

Just as the Splicers managed to tamp out the flame from the first Molotov leaving a good number of them dead or dying from massive burns, I threw the second one which was accompanied by a storm of bullets from Alex and flames from Marli's palm which added to the inferno. When the flames cleared they left only bodies.

"Jeremy that was genius." Marli tells me smiling.

"Thank you and we still have one left just in case."

We waited a few minutes for the last of the flames to die out before heading down the hall and turning left towards the medical pavilion. After a short distance we reach a metal door with a large wheel on it. Alex grabs the wheel and begins turning it. The wheel creaked and groaned with each turn until the door was open. We slowly walk through the door making sure the room was free of Splicers, which it was. The room had white and black tile which lead up to a desk with an iron staircase on each side both of which led to the upper level of the pavilion. Something felt horribly wrong about this room. The feeling that something bad was going to happen was back and it was stronger than ever. This feeling proved true as six Big Daddies came out of nowhere and surrounded us, eyes glowing an angry red. Alex lowers his guns and smiles. He walks past the Big Daddies as though they weren't there. "No..." I thought as I begin to understand what was going on.

"Okay boys take them." Alex says and the Big Daddies charge Marli and I knocking us out in a matter of seconds.

When I came to I was on my back and blindfolded. I was still too dazed to move. I just lied there on the floor of this room trying to cope with what had just happened. Alex, a traitor? My best friend, a back stabber? I couldn't handle the thought of Alex selling us out and my mind was in complete confusion. I couldn't get a coherent thought going as I began to feel anger build up, along with hurt that the one eyed wolf I'd known for years had turned on me.

"Are these results accurate Mr.Walker?" a familiar voice said startling me out of my thoughts.

"Unfortunately." Replied a gravelly voice I didn't recognize. "They are of no use to us. Alex, kill them...Would you kindly?"
