Alright. My next chapter. I realize it doensn't have a name or anything, but generally, it's just development.

**

The next morning I woke up still in Seth's arms. I was warmer than usual, and for a change, I was happy. When I managed to free myself from the well muscled arms of my new boyfriend, I checked the mirror, and could barely recognize the fox staring back at me. I stepped closer to the mirror and started to examine myself more closely.

I was so intent on my reflection, that I didn't feel Seth slip behind me and squeeze me to his chest. "How's my pretty foxy doing this morning?" he whispered into my ear.

"Better than ever," I said, flattening my ears to my head submissively as I turned and looked up into his eyes.

He smiled and said, "You don't have to show me how submissive you are."

"I want to though," I said.

He sighed softly and said, "Cody, you may want to wait a while before you give yourself to me fully. We're young, we both know this might not turn out the way we want it too."

"It will!" I said fiercely, "I know it will."

"How do you know?" He asked.

"Because, we both want it. I'll make it work if it's the most awkward thing ever." I said.

He smiled at me and said, "So, shall we take a shower? Or should we get dressed and head to school? We're already nearly late."

"What?" I said, looking at his clock and my eyes widened, "Oh my god we need to get to school."

"I thought so," he said smiling at me.

He had some more fun pulling out outfits to decide which one I would wear and when he finally did, I looked at myself in the mirror yet again and gaped openly. "I could pass as a new kid!" I said.

He smiled and said, "You are very unrecognizable now."

He walked downstairs, his arm around me, and we walked into the kitchen. "Hey Mom," he said, "can you give us a ride to school?"

"Of course," she said, smiling, "that's my job isn't it?"

Seth grinned at her, "Only until I get my license next year."

She chuckled and said, "Yeah yeah yeah. No need to remind me how old my baby boy is."

Seth blushed deeply but didn't say anything and I poked him in the chest and smiled up at him. We walked out and got into Mrs. Gernwal's car. She was only a moment slower than us, and soon we were driving back into the town and towards the school. I almost dreaded how small the town was because of how quickly we got to school.

Surprisingly there weren't many students there yet, and when I thought about what day it was, I slammed my palm into my forehead. "What?" Seth asked me.

I smiled at him and said, "School starts an hour later today. The teachers thought the eighth grade students that will be coming here next year would like to be shown around without being intimidated by the high school kids."

"Oh," he said, "that would've been a good thing to know."

I smiled at him and said, "Well, we get to skip first period."

He shrugged, "So what are we going to do until school starts?"

"Wait for my sister?" I asked. He nodded his head.

We walked to her parking spot and waited and when she finally got there she stepped out of her car. She eyed me for a moment looked at Seth than back at me and she gaped. "Cody?" she asked.

"Yep!" I said, smiling.

She threw her arms around me and said, "Oh god I was so worried about you."

"I went to Seth's house last night," I said, "He bought me new clothes!"

"I can see that," she said smiling, "These look wonderful on you." She turned to Seth and grabbed him into a hug as well, squeezing him until he couldn't breathe, "You've made my baby brother happy. Thank you so much."

He smiled and said, "If you're this happy that I'm his friend, you'll be ecstatic to hear that I'm his boyfriend."

"Boyfriend?" she said, her eyes widening so very slightly. She turned back to me and pulled me into a tighter hug than either of the two hugs she gave before, "I told you someone would come and love you, Cody."

I blushed deeply but said, "I love you Stephanie."

"I love you too, baby bro." she said.

When I managed to free myself from her arms I pushed my back against Seth's chest. He squeezed me and started to squeeze my stomach. "How many people do you think will recognize me?" I asked Stephanie curiously.

She smiled and said, "Four."

"The nerds?" I asked.

"Yes," she said, grinning.

Seth started to lick my neck, dragging his sandpaper tongue up my neck slowly. I shuddered as he did so and I slapped his muzzle lightly, "Not in public," I said, turning around in his arms and pulling his head down so his forehead rested against mine.

"Why not?" he whispered.

"Because, it's embarrassing." I said.

He smiled and said, "Alright, I won't lick your neck. If you kiss me right now."

I smiled and I pressed my lips to his, softly of course. He said himself he didn't want to get into this too fast, and I didn't want to have a full out kiss so early in our relationship. He accepted it as the kiss. "That wasn't a condition," I said, "that was a bonus."

He chuckled and said, "Yeah yeah yeah."

We sat outside, talking to my sister for a little while longer and soon the eighth graders were getting on a bus to go back to the middle school building. He smiled at me and kissed me one more time before we walked inside, paw in paw, and I got my books and he got his. He walked me to my second class and then went to his own class.

I sat through the class, incredibly bored as always, and no one seemed to that I was actually me. A few of the girls talked to me and it took me a while to convince them I was myself. Afterwards, they promptly left me alone. At lunch, I sat with Seth and I grinned at him. "I kind of wish I had just said I was a new kid. I'd have SO many new friends."

"Most of whom would be girls?" he said, grinning.

"Probably." I said.

A moment later, one of the prettier girls in the school walked over and sat down at the table. She smiled at me and said, "I wasn't aware we had yet another new kid."

"Bonnie, I'm not new," I said, "You've been ridiculing me for two years now."

"Cody?" she said, her eyebrows rising.

"Wow, someone actually knows my name." I said.

She blushed and said, "You'd be surprised how many people know your name. Most people only treat you like they do so they won't get treated like you. Try talking to Grayson, or Paul, or Robert for that matter. I would recommend doing it after school though, if you do it during school they might treat you the same."

I gaped at her as she walked away. She had just given me the names of my three old best friends, turned my worst ridiculers after I became open, and told me that they might just be my friends again. It was a joyful moment for me and I smiled widely at Seth who grinned back. "Hmm, situation isn't as bad as you thought it was, is it?"

I blushed and said, "I guess not. Then again, how could I know they would still want to talk to me when they treat me like shit at school?"

He shrugged his shoulders and said, "No clue. But lunch is over."

I smiled and kissed his cheek, "See you after school."

"Can't wait," he said, kissing my cheek.

The rest of the day went the same as always except I had something to look forward to for once, and that made it seem a lot better.

**

After school I met him briefly and when he invited me to his house I sighed. "I have to go home sometime." I said sadly.

He nodded his head and put his paw on my cheek and he kissed me, "Let that sustain you for a while," he said smiling.

I smiled back before getting into my sister's car. She smiled and she said, "Mom and dad are going to be pissed."

"Like I care." I said.

She smiled and she drove us home. I looked at the house in great distaste and when I walked in my mom looked up and scowled. "Damn, I had hoped you had curled up and died somewhere."

"Sorry to disappoint you." I said, scowling at her.

My sister was scowling too and she went upstairs. I sat down on the blankets and leaned my head back before getting to work on my homework. "Where'd you get the clothes?" she asked. When I looked at her she was still scowling.

"From my new boyfriend. Why do you care?"

"You mean we have another faggot in town?" she said scowling.

"Yeah, and he just happens to be the son of two well known lawyers." I said. I knew that would catch on her and she had a brief moment of shock before replacing her scowl.

I couldn't help but grin as I went back to doing my homework. I could so torture her with that. She would regret it if I got married to Seth because I would be marrying into a rich family.

I did my homework, and not having anything else to do, I leaned back against the wall resting on the blankets that I had been sleeping on for the past two years.

I sighed as I thought about seeing Seth the next day. I walked upstairs and knocked on my sister's door. She answered, and grinned at me.

"Let me guess. You want to call Seth?" she asked.

I nodded and said, "Yeah."

She handed me her cell phone and I pulled the piece of paper that Seth had written his phone number down on and called him. "Hello?" he asked.

"Seth?" I asked.

"Cody?" he said, "I was hoping you'd be calling me soon."

"Why?" I asked curiously.

"Let's see here." He said, "You're my new boyfriend, and I wanted to ask if you wanted to see a movie with my parents and I."

"I'd love too." I said, smiling into the phone.

"Great," he said, "I'll see you soon."

"Bye," I said.

"See ya," he said.

I hung up the phone and grinned at my sister. "I'm going to a movie with him."

"Great!" she said. "You can get out of the house."

"You sound eager for me to leave." I said.

She grinned, "Maybe I am."

I pouted at her. "Why would you be eager for me to leave?"

She smiled and hugged me. "I have a date tonight."

I smiled and said, "Fine, have fun."

I walked out of her room and outside of the house to wait for Seth, waiting to go on our first date.
