Mother Of A Problem!
#1 of Stories
Well, can say I did not expect this when I found a mysterious egg in the forest, looks like I'm stuck as a pregnant dragoness now. Plus, got a little one who needs me to boot!
This great sequence was kindly made by the amazing tomek1000 on FA who had their original pose here!
"Damn it, I told her I didn't want kids!" I huffed to myself as I stomped down the lonely woodland path, nothing but the rustle of the leaves and the chatter of birds to fill the gloomy evening sky. "What's with her anyway, kids are annoying, expensive and we're only in our twenties!"
It was the third time this week that my fiancé and I had talked about it. That even before getting married, we'd try for kids. She was set on it, and would not relent no matter how many times I told her I wasn't ready or didn't want to take that step yet.
Kids are just not for me, not yet. I've still got my life ahead of me. I thought, thinking back to the time she'd wished upon a star for children as a joke. Back then she didn't want them either, she just wanted adventure and stuff... Urg, what's five years of adulthood done to us?
At that thought, I slumped down at the base of a tree, dry dust scattering in my wake as I sighed. Yet just as soon as the long breath left me, a glint in the corner of my vision, stole my attention.
"What on earth are you?" I asked as I leaned over to brush some ferns aside, and my eyes set upon a peculiar, opal orb. "It's so shiny?"
Like some gem-encrusted treasure from a museum, the thing shimmered in the sun's dying light. Yet it was smooth as freshly-cast glass, a glittering, pearly white; like starlight captured in a tangible form.
"Huh, must be like some kind of rock?" I muttered to myself as I scooped the thing up and held it before my eyes. "It's kinda... Like an... Egg?"
As I peered into the orb's shimmering depths, I started to feel faint, head so light it was as if I were in the clouds as my tummy growled. As if my insides were shifting about in some twisted dance, I hunched forward, staggering to my feet as a sudden heat overcame me. Like a lance, a spark of pain shot through my skull, my whole face feeling like wet putty to be molded as I wrinkled my lips, and suddenly lumps started to blossom under my thinning hair.
"Gah, what's happening to me!?" I managed to yell through the sudden strain, as my whole body almost turned to liquid. "My hands, they're turning blue!"
The sapphire glow starting to bloom over my skin like an army of marching sequins wasn't the only thing I saw as I was unable to drop the egg, however. There was a sudden tug at my shirt, the fabric pulling hard at my chest before, with a tremendous rip, it tore free. What sprang from my shoulders in its absence was a set of magnificent blue wings, as a similar force tore my trousers, and my manhood started to shrivel inward. My leg muscles swelled along with those of my arms, becoming digitigrade as claws spawned from my morphing fingers and toes. New wings instinctively flapping, I felt my sense of balance shift, ensuring it was not my rump firmly on the floor, but the spout of a large, scaly tail bulging free of my tattered trousers.
"I... I have to get... Gah!" My now clawed talons, still unable to let go of the egg as it shuddered and started to crack, I found myself unable to even call out for help as the transformation consumed my face. "I... Grrr... My nose!"
Like the rest of my skeleton, it was if my skull were soft as melted chocolate. Heaving, it shuddered and pushed outward into a slender muzzle. The scales that blossomed upon its length shimmering as the new extremity wrinkled into a snarl, while within, my teeth grew into formidable fangs and my tongue took on a snake-like fork.
What's happening to me? I... I'm a dragon... No, I'm one of my dragons! I thought, unable to form words as the bumps on my head became horns and the last of my hair fell out, replaced by a webbed fin. This is... My dragoness, the one I work with in stories, how can I be turning into her!?
It was at that realization that I really felt the significant lack of something between my hind legs. Glancing down, I was hot with flustered embarrassment as I saw my absent cock. Meanwhile, my spine arched, and the webbed fin continued to sprout along its length.
"I'm a girl!" I finally found my voice as I called out, yet it was not the same, it was far more high-pitched and feminine. "I... Oh, what the heck is going on!"
If I were able to let go of the egg, I'd have grabbed my throat. Yet before long, the tender spot between my newly-wide thighs tingled as the formation of a webbed fin at the end of my long tail concluded the transformation. My whole body gave a firm shudder, new bones rattling as my wings fluttered and drooped like loose blankets at my sides.
"I... I can't be a dragoness, what did this to..." Before I could even think, there was a trembling in my forepaws, and I glanced to see the egg crack even more, before bursting open. "It couldn't seriously be..."
"Momma!" chirped the little hatchling as they sat within the husk of their egg, beady blue eyes peering at me as they cocked their head. "Momma!"
I blinked once, the weight of my new body and the sensation of an extra pair of leathery limbs on my back hitting me like a truck. Then I swallowed hard.
Oh god, even that feels so weird! I inwardly squirmed as the anxious lump slid down my longer throat before I opened my new muzzle and stammered.
"Momma? No, I'm not..." One look over my now very naked self, eyes running from the back of my slender neck, down my rather pudgy tummy, between my new wings, over my sleek hips to the tip of my webbed tail, and I sighed. "You think I'm your mother?"
Finding myself free to let go of the egg, I set it down and pressed a forepaw to my muscular chest, shuddering at the sensation of my smooth underscales.
I never did make this dragoness a mother in my stories, but my fiancé always said I should.
"Momma, I hungie, momma!" the little hatchling called, as they wiggled free of their egg and rubbed my foretalons. "Fewd!"
I found myself lurching to hold them should they fall, and at that moment, felt my heart skip a beat.
Oh no, I really am becoming a mother... No, this isn't what I meant by no kids!
"Fewd!" the little one pleaded, grasping at my claws with their tiny paws, eyes as cute as a kitten, as my head drooped and I relented.
"Okay, I'll find food but..." My words trailed off as a tremble ran through my seemingly large tummy. "Oh no, what's my fiancé going to think now!?"
That weight was the least of my worries, however; as the sudden cramp in my gut intensified. I doubled over, wobbling as I placed one forepaw on my belly to find that it had started to swell like a water balloon.
"Gah, what... What..." I could hardly force words from my new muzzle, the alien muscles failing to work as I desired while my belly growled and groaned, tight scales stretching like aged leather. "I... Garrr... So tight!"
"Momma, momma!" yapped the hatchling as I snorted, smoke hissing from my nostrils. I felt fire in my chest and a lump like a cannonball pressing on my new hips, forcing them wider. "Momma, get big!"
"I... I'm not..." Words once again died in my throat as the weight between my thighs forced my hind legs apart and I staggered, panting for breath as my belly swelled larger and larger, shuddering as hard lumps blossomed within.
Are... Are those more eggs!? I inwardly screamed as the little hatchling sat before me, cocking their head with a curious expression. I... I can't be a mother to one dragon, let alone lay more!
Regardless of what I thought or wanted, my new maternal body had different ideas, and my belly swelled to almost double its original size, before finally seeming to stop. Yet, as if moving on all fours wasn't hard enough already, feeling the huge mass shift, and eggs roll like hard stones within my packed womb, I could hardly budge.
"I... I..." The words left me as no more than a shrill eep, as I tentatively shifted a forepaw to my huge bump. "I can hardly move my legs... Oh, please don't tell me I'm going to go into labor too!"
The idea filled me with cold dread as I felt the eggs stuffed within, pressing against my tight innards with tender taps. It was like I was fit to burst, yet save for a loud growl, the brood seemed to be staying put. Therefore, I finally sat down, with no idea whether I could ever stand up again in this new form.
I... I'm a pregnant dragoness! The idea was so insane I could hardly believe it, yet the sensation of a small paw on my large tummy suggested otherwise.
"Bwother... S... is... Sisters!" The hatchling struggled to formulate words as they rubbed my bump, and I suddenly felt odd urges come over me.
"No... Not sis... You... My babies..." My words trailed off as I was overcome by a drive to take care of them all, at least until a sudden voice caught my attention.
"LJ, LJ, where are you? Come on, I know what I said, but it's not funny hiding out here!" My blood ran colder than ice as I looked my bloated form over.
Oh no... she came to look for me... The voice of my partner caught my chick's attention, and their head perked as I gingerly rested a forepaw on my belly. How in god's name am I supposed to explain this!?
