Chapter 3:

“Hey Josh,” Sam the Female Mightyena security guard waved at Josh as he walked into the building.

“Hey Sam,” Josh said once he walked over to her station, “did you have a great lunch?”

“Went out for a slice of pizza,” she replied showing him a pizza shape takeout container, “brought a slice for Mike.”

“Where is Mike?” Josh said as he looked around for the Male Mightyena.

“He went to the bathroom just now,” Sam replied as she glanced over to one of the monitors.

“Well my lunch is over,” Josh said as he started to walk, “tell Mike I said hi.”

Josh had made his way pass the security gate and was waiting for his elevator when he heard his name being yelled from the security gate.

“Hold that elevator Josh!”

He turn to see Leanne the Liepard running towards him at full sprint. “Slow down there,” Josh said raising both hand as he glance over to the display on top of the elevator, “it’s not even here yet.”

“Sorry,” Leanna panted as she stopped a few feet away from Josh.

“I feel like this is going to be a thing between the two of us,” Josh said with a chuckle, “assuming you got the job.”

“I did,” Leanne said with a smile just as a ding was heard and the elevator doors open.

“Congratulation,” Josh said as he stood next to her as people started to exit the elevator before they were able to walk in, “I’m guessing you are in orientation right now?”

“Not until tomorrow,” she replied as she press the floor number, “I finished my interview with Louis an hour ago and he told me to head out for lunch.”

“Louis is very thorough,” Josh said as he first glanced up at the display before looking at her and smiling, “it is hard to replace Margrett.”

“Was that Louis’ previous assistant?” asked Leanne.

“Yeah,” Josh replied as he scratched his chin, “I’m still curious as why she left.”

“Well I hope she is okay,” Leanne said.

“Same here,” Replied Josh as the elevator stopped with a ding and the doors open on their floor, “so what brought you back?”

“Louis said that that I need a security badge,” Leanne said as she walked out the elevator along with Josh, “and the one in charge of getting me the badge was on break.”

“I see,” Josh said as opened one of the double glass doors for Leanne.

“Hey, you two,” Linda waved at the pair from her reception desk, “did you guys have a lunch?”

“Yeah it was good,” Josh said as he waved back.

“Same here,” Leanne smiled at her, “there are a lot of good restaurant close by.”

“You go out on a lunch date with her Josh?” Linda asked looking at Josh with a smile.

“Wha-What?!” Leanne shouted.

“And what if we did?” asked Josh smiling back at Linda.

“Josh!” Leanne turned to look at her as a visible blush started to form on her cheek.

“Anna might get jealous,” Linda said teasingly.

“Wh-what are you guys talking about?!” Leanne said as she stepped in front of them.

“Relax Leanne,” Linda said with a giggle, “we are only teasing.”

“We don’t do it too often,” chuckled Josh, “since you are new, we will take it easy on you.”

“It keep thing from getting boring around here,” Linda smiling at Leanne.

“As long as there are no issue with anyone,” Leanne said, “I’m okay with it.”

“Just let us know if we step out of bound,” Josh said with a reassuring smile, “we don’t want you to be uncomfortable.”

“Got it,” Leanne smiled at Josh and Linda.

“Now before I forget,” Linda said as she open a drawer and pulled out a badge, “this is your temporary security badge.”

“Thank you so much,” Leanne said as she took the badge from her and quickly looked it over.

“Now like I said it is temporary,” Linda continued to say once Leanne took the badge from her, “after a couple of weeks you will get your permanent badge.”

“You basically on a probation period,” Josh explained.

“Kind of figured that,” Leanne said as she placed the in one of her pockets, “did Louis say what time to come in tomorrow?”

“He said to come in around the same time,” Linda said as she looked at her computer and turned to the printer behind her, “here a copy of things you are going to do.”

“Thanks Linda,” Leanne said as she grab the sheet and gave it a once over before looking at them both, “well I’ll see you guys tomorrow then.”

“Have a nice afternoon Leanne,” Linda said with a wave, “can’t wait to fully work with you.”

“Same here,” Josh said as he extended a hand to her, “and if you need any help don’t hesitate to ask.”

“Thank you, guys, so much,” Leanne said as she shook Josh’s hand before looking at Linda and waving at her. After saying her goodbyes she turn and walked out and headed towards the elevator.

“She seems nice,” Josh said as he move next to Linda.

“Yeah,” Linda replied before looking over to him, “and before you ask, I don’t know what happened to Margrett.”

“Weird that she left without saying anything,” Josh said as he glanced at his watch, “gossip time is over.” He gave Linda a final wave and headed back to his desk just in to hear the phone ring and picked up the receiver, “John Davis office how can I help you?”

2 ½ hours later

Josh was typing away at his computer when he glanced over to the watch on the wall, which read 3:30 pm, when the phone started to ring. It was coming from the reception desk and he quickly picked up, “What up Lin--,” he started to say but was cut off.

“You got incoming,” Linda said sounding hurriedly, “it’s Stephanie.”

Still holding the phone, he looked down the corridor and immediately saw her making her way along with a Froslass Pokemorph behind her. Stephanie was a human with long blondish hair that reached down the middle of her back and her steel blue eyes were currently staring him down. The Pokemorph behind her was slightly shorter than Stephanie, who look to be around 5’5, and it looked like she was wearing a white kimono with a red band around her waist. The Morph look like she was wearing a white mask that partially covered her face from the nose up. As they got close to him, he notice that the mask had three holes, two obviously for her to look through and the third one was in the middle of the forehead. Josh was able to see that around her eyes were painted a purplish color and that the hole on her forehead was painted the same purple color.

“Shit,” Josh before hanging up the phone and standing to walk around his desk to intercept the pair, “Hi Stephanie, how can I help you?”

“Out of the way Josh,” she said sounding annoyed, “I need to speak with my brother.”

“Sorry Steph,” Josh said as he stood his ground, “John is currently busy.”

“Maybe we should come by later Stephanie,” the Froslass morph said to her before looking at Josh with her icy blue eyes and bowed, “It has been a while Josh.”

“It is nice to see you too Holly,” Josh said giving her a small bow.

“And what about me?” Stephania said as she crossed her arms.

“It is nice seeing you too Steph,” Josh said as he scratched the back of his head, “though I would like to know what brings you here in such a mood.”

“It like I said,” Stephanie said as she made a move to walk pass him, “I’m here to speak with my idiot of a brother.’

“And like I said,” Josh said as he walked in front of her, “he is currently busy.”

“Holly,” Stephanie said as she looked over to the Froslass, “can you please take care of this.”

“I am sorry Josh,” Holly said with a sigh as she raised a pale hand and her eyes glowed a familiar pinkish purple light.

“Wait!” Josh yelled out as he raised his hand to stop her but found himself not able to move. He figured that holly used her Psychic abilities to freeze him in place while, “that not very nice.”

“Thanks Holly,” Stephanie said as she walked around and headed for the door.

“I’m terribly sorry Josh,” Holly said with a sad smile, “hope you can forgive me.”

“Don’t worry about it,” Josh said smiling at her, “kind of figure this was going to happen.”

“It’s only for a few more minutes,” Holly replied as she hovered a chair to her and sat in front of Josh, “let chat for a bit.”

“I don’t have much of a choice, do I?” Josh let out a chuckled as he looked over Holly, “I’ve notice that you cut your hair.”

“Trying something new,” Holly said as she move her head to one side and ran a hand through her shoulder length light blue hair.

“It look great,” Josh said, “though I do miss the snowflake shape hair pins you wore.”

“You would like those,” Holly said with a giggle, “since you’re the one who gotten for me.”

“Slightly guilty,” chuckled Josh, “I just bought them to elevate your beauty even further.”

“Teasing as always,” Holly said with a giggle as a blush formed on her pale cheek. She stood and floated the chair back to where it came from and waved a hand at Josh realizing him from her Psychic field, “that should be enough time.”

“Thanks Holly,” Josh said as he moved his joints around and walked over to John’s office door, “now to check on the damage in there.”

“It is going to severe,” Holly sighed out loud.

“What happened?” Josh asked just as he reached the door.

“Stephanie had arranged a meeting between John and his Father,” Holly said as she reached into her sleeve and pulled out a small notebook, “but instead of seeing him…”

“Wait,” Josh said cutting of Holly midsentence, “Paul Anderson is John Father?”

“You know him?” Holly asked curiously.

“I am the one who told him he couldn’t see him,” Josh said facepalming, “to be honest John just blew him off.”

“We should see what is going on in there,” Holly said as she walked up to him.

“Yeah,” Josh said turning around and opening the door.

“So, you are not going to tell me why you want to see Dad!?” Stephanie was yelling at John, who was standing by the window.

“I have my reason Steph,” John replied calmly to his sister.

“After finding out that it was actually Mom who screwed him over,” Stephanie said walking up to John, “you still blame him for her leaving us.”

John did not say anything to her and looked over where Josh was standing in the doorframe along with Holly, “what is it?”

“We wanted to know if everything was alright,” Holly said looking at the pair.

“Everything is peachy,” said Stephanie sarcastically as she crossed her arm.

“I also came to inform you about yesterdays,” Josh walk in a bit more into the room, “about Paul Anderson.”

“What about him?” asked Stephanie before John could say anything.

“I had rescheduled the appointment for tomorrow around noon,” Josh said looking at her.

“I don’t think I will be able…” John was saying before Stephanie turned around and cut him off.

“You are not going to blow him off again John,” Stephanie said pointing a finger at him, “and I will be here to make sure you don’t.”

“Fine,” Josh said with a sigh as he walked over to his desk and sat on his chair, “I’ll listen to him if you are there.”

“Thanks John,” Stephanie said finally calming down, “it is all I ask for.”

“Should I order some lunch for tomorrow?” John asked.

“Or do you wish for us to bring something?” suggested Holly.

“I rather you guys head out to lunch than suffer food poisoning,” laughed John.

“My cooking isn’t that bad,” retorted Stephanie.

“The fire department were called when you tried to bake cookies the other day,” Holly said trying not smile.

“Et tu, Holly?” Stephanie glared over to her.

“Shall I make reservation to your favorite restaurant?” Josh asked Josh as he pulled out his cellphone.

“If you don’t mind,” John said still chuckling.

“I assume it be you, Stephanie and Paul, right?” Josh asked John

“Yes,” Stephanie interjected, “sorry but we this is family business.”

“No worries,” Josh smiled at Stephanie, “me and Holly can have a lunch date.”

“We haven’t had one in a while,” Holly said giving him a wink.

“Do I have any other appointment set for tomorrow?” John asked Josh.

“Other than Mr. Anderson,” Josh said going through his phone before looking up at John, “you have a clear day.”

“Then take the day off,” John said as he went back to his seat, “and I’ll make sure you get paid for the day.”

“Are you sure Mr. Davis?” Josh asked him.

“Consider it a small thanks for staying late yesterday,” John smiled at him.

“Thank you, Mr. Davis,” Josh smile at him, “It gives me time to plan a double date I have on Saturday.”

“I can help you with that if you wish,” said Holly.

“If can, thanks,” said Josh smiling at her.

“I can meet you during lunch since Stephanie will be busy,” Holly said returning the smile.

“You don’t want to hang out the whole day?” asked Josh.

“Sorry, but I can’t,” Holly said shaking her head, “Stephanie and I have to finalize a couple of things for a project.”

“Speaking of which,” Stephanie interrupted as she looked at her watch, “we have to get going.”

“Indeed,” Holly said looking at her own watch, “please make sure to send me the time and place of the restaurant.”

“Right away,” Josh said as he left the office.

“You better not miss this, John,” Stephanie said following Josh out the office along with Holly.

“I promise that I’ll be there, Steph,” John said following them to the threshold of his office, “and you know I haven’t broken a promise to you.”

“I know,” Stephanie said with a sigh before smiling at her brother, “I will see you then.”

“Bye Stephanie,” John said as he leaned in and kissed her on the forehead.

“Bye John,” Stephanie said as she turned to leave, “bye Josh.”

“I will see you tomorrow Josh,” Holly said as she waved at him before following Stephanie.

“You know I tried to stop them,” Josh told John once Holly and Stephanie had turned the corner.

“I know you did,” John said with a sigh, “but you know how my sister gets when she angry.”

“And it doesn’t help when she has Holly around,” Josh said as he walked back to his desk, “so where do you want to go to eat?”

“How about hibachi?” John said as he leaned on the doorframe, “I don’t know if you remember the place, I went to last month with a client.”

“I should have a record of the expenses from last month,” Josh said as he jump at his computer.

“It just open too,” John said as he racked his knuckled against his forehead.

“Shogun Steakhouse,” Josh said looking away from the computer, “that was one expensive lunch.”

“That was the client fault,” John sighed, “that guy just keep ordering and ordering.”

“The price of hooking a client,” chuckled Josh, “good thing you used the company card.”

“Sadie wasn’t too happy at first,” John said crossing his arm.

“Well I managed to make the reservation around 2 pm,” Josh said while typing on his computer.

“Thanks Josh,” John said with a smile, “now make sure you send the info to Holly.”

“Done and done,” Josh said looking away from his screen.

“What would I do without you?” John said as he walked back into his office.

“Be overwhelmed with massive paper and uncertainty,” Josh said with a laugh as he walked into John’s office.

“True,” John replied as he sat down at his desk, “you can go home if you want.”

“Let me finish a couple of things before I leave,” Josh said leaving the office.

Josh went back to his desk to finish the report he was working on before he Stephanie arrival. Once he finish, he double check any unread email and replying to some of them he finally logged out and turned off the computer screen. After logging out he made sure everything was back in its place before he stood up and made his way towards his way to John’s open door.

“Alright, I’m taking off,” Josh waved at John at his desk, “see you Monday.”

“See you Monday Josh,” John waved back.

“Please make sure to go tomorrow,” Josh said pleadingly, “I don’t want to deal with a Stephanie again.”

“I will,” John said reassuringly, “now you have a nice day off.”

Josh gave one final wave before leaving and making his way toward the elevator, passing Linda on the way. He smile and waved at her, as she was busy on the phone and someone was waiting for her to finish. Once he got to the elevator, he pulled out cellphone as he waited and texted Anna that he got off early.

JOSH: “Got out early.”

He put his phone away just as he hear the ding that announced the arrival of the elevator and proceed to walk in once the door open along with others. Once he hit the button for the ground floor, he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He went into one of the corners and pulled out his cellphone.

ANNA: “Lucky you.”

JOSH: “Sound like you are having a bad day.”

ANNA: “Somewhat.”

JOSH: “How about I make you your favorite tonight?”

ANNA: “PLEASE!!!!!!”

JOSH: “Do we still have some Pinot Grigio?”

ANNA: “I’ll pick some up after work.”

JOSH: “Alright. I’ll see you home then.”

“Are you getting out or what?” asked someone with a deep voice.

“What?” Josh said looking up from his phone and seeing the elevator empty. Apparently, he had forgotten that he was in the elevator and everyone had gotten off. He was currently looking at a grumpy man waiting for him to get out so he could get in. He hastily left the elevator and repeatedly apologizing for being distracted.

“Whatever,” the man said as he pushed his way past him.

“What the hell is his problem?” Josh asked out loud as he made his way past the security gate.

“Everything alright Josh?” said one of the security guard.

“Yeah everything fine,” Josh said as he turned to see Ethan, “someone just being an ass.”

“Seems like everyone having a bad day,” Ethan said looking over to the elevators, “people are just anxious for the weekend.”

“We are almost there,” replied Josh.

“Hmm,” Ethan said with a shrug of his shoulders.

“Well I’ll catch you later,” Josh waved at him as he made his way towards the security desk.

“What up Josh?” Sam greeted him as he made his way to the security desk.

“Hey Sam,” Josh waved at her before looking at Mike, “Hey Mike.”

“Are you heading out early today?” asked Mike.

“Yeah,” Josh said, “Mr. Davis told me I could take off.”

“Sweet,” Sam said, “by any chance did he give you the day off tomorrow?”

“Yeah he did,” Josh said now looking at her.

“Well,” Sam started to say as she leaned over the desk towards him and lowered her voice so only, he could hear her, “I manage to get the day off tomorrow as well.”

“Really now?” Josh said as he too lean in close, “so what are you doing on your day off.”

“Well I was planning on hanging out with my cousin all day,” Sam said as she looked down and began to trace a finger around her side of the desk.

“Monica has the day off too?” Josh asked as smile spreading across his lips.

“Yes, she does,” Sam said glancing up at him for a second before looking back down, “and since you have the day off tomorrow...”

“You were wondering if I can I accompany you ladies around?” Josh finished her sentence.

“Could you?” Sam said finally looked up at him and fluttered her eyes.

“Well it be an honor to hang out with such lovely ladies,” Josh said.

“Really?!” Sam asked as she jump back and claps her hand together.

“Yeah, only up to 5 pm,” Josh said as he crossed his arms, “me and Anna have a dinner date.”

“So, we have you the whole day?” Sam asked,

“Yeah,” Josh said before remembering Holly, “well I have to meet someone later, but there shouldn’t be a problem if you two come.”

“Great!” Sam somewhat shouted as she pulled out her cellphone, “would it be okay if we meet up at 9 am?”

“I don’t see any problem with that,” Josh said, “I’m used to waking up early, but where do you want to meet?”

“We could meet here,” suggested Sam, “it in the middle of the city and we can make our way to most places.”

“True,” Josh said as he smiled at her, “okay then, we have ourselves a date.”

“Are you guys done flirting yet?” asked Mike glaring at Josh.

“Yeah,” Josh said as he scratched the back of his head, “sorry about that.”

“Sorry Mike,” Sam said as she sat back down at her station.

“You guys take me way to serious sometimes,” Mike said with a chuckle, “I was just messing with you.”

“You don’t prank type Uncle Mike,” said Sam.

“That is true,” agreed Josh, “seem someone finally loosing up.”

“Only around you two,” Mike said turning back to monitor, “and Josh.”

“Yes Mike?” asked Josh wearily.

“You better eye on my daughter,” Mike said glancing at Josh, “and you better keep her safe.”

“Will do sir,” Josh said nervously.

“Good boy,” Mike said before looking back at the computer.

“Okay then,” Josh said as he slowly stepped away, “I will see you guys tomorrow then.”

“Bye Josh,” Sam waved at him.

Once Josh left the building, he made his way toward the corner him and Anna had teleported too. Josh was looking around as if trying to look for someone specifically. After a few minutes he found a Kadabra Morph wearing a white shirt with a black logo on the back that read ‘TeleSer’. The Kadabra Morph was current talking to a human woman and showing something him. It seem that the lady seemed shook her head and left.

“Couldn’t land a client,” Josh said as he walked up to the Kadabra.

The Kadabra turned and smile upon seen Josh, “Josh! How are you?”

“I’m doing okay,” Josh said as he extended a hand to him, “how about yourself, Mack?”

“Same,” Mack said shaking his hand, “just trying to convince and failing to convince a human to use our service.”

“Well at $80 a teleportation it might be expensive for some of use,” Josh said crossing his arm.

“Hey!” Mack said with a raised voice, “you know that is a fair price.”

“I know I know,” Josh said with a chuckle as he raised, “I’m just pulling your tail.”

“Good,” Mack said crossing his own arms, “now I’m guessing you are here to precure our service.”

“Yeah,” Josh said scratching the back of his head, “I just got off work early and I need to get started on dinner for Anna.”

“Well I’m at your service,” Mack said as he pulled up his tablet and began to type something on it, “you still live on same address?”

“Yep,” Josh said confirming the address.

“Okay,” Mack said before flipping the tablet so josh could see it, “I just need you verify and then payment.”

Josh looked at the information, but he knew it was up to date as he had used TeleSer a couple of time when Anna was not around to teleport. He reached for his phone and open his digital wallet app that he had on his phone. With a tap of his phone and a quick entry of his pin he immediately received a notification on his phone about the charge.

“Alright,” Mack said as the put his tablet away in a small pouch on is back, “let us get it the box so I can take you home.”

Josh followed Mack over to the teleportation back and stood while there while he let the Kadabra do his job. Mack first fished something that looked like a spoon from pocket before placing his free hand on Josh’s shoulder. Mack closed his eyes and slowly started to mumble a few words before he, along with Josh, were envelope by the purplish hue. Though the technique was different the feeling of teleportation was the same, the momentary feeling of lightness as though gravity had been dialed down for a few second before someone turned it back on. Josh had almost stumbled forward if it was not for Mack hand on his shoulder.

“Easy there, Josh,” Mack said as he tighten, “deep breath.”

“Sorry Mack,” Josh as he stood up straight and took in a deep breath, “I should have been used to this by now.”

“Most humans barely get used to it,” Mack said as he let go of Josh’s shoulder.

“Oh well,” Josh said as he look at his surrounding and smiled, “and thanks for teleporting me in front of my door.”

“Don’t mentioned it,” Mack smiled at Josh before he raised his hand that was holding the spoon, “and thanks again for using our services.”

“Take care,” Josh manage to say just before the Kadabra teleported. He managed to fish out his house key and entered his domain. He went straight to and changed into something more comfortable, which turned out to be a simple shirt and short. Once Josh had felt comfortable, he left his bedroom and headed towards the kitchen to prepare dinner.

“Let see if I have everything I need,” Josh said to himself as he open the pantry and started to pull some the ingredients. He placed then on the small island in the middle of the before moving towards the fridge to pick the remainder what was left. Once he got everything cut, prep and measured he went over to the stove and grabbed a large pot.

He placed the large pot on the stove over medium he and place cut up bacon and cooked it until it was crispy. Once he done with that, he placed cut up chicken breast into the pot on top the cooked until he was sure there was no pink. Once that was done, he took out the chicken, leaving the bacon there, he place spinach leave, chopped up garlic, salt and pepper in the pot. He stirred everything together until the spinach was wilted then he added the chicken back in along with milk and slowly brought it to a boil and added the penne pasta. He stood there for a while, stirring everything together until he saw that the pasta was finally cooked. Lastly, he added parmesan cheese and mixed that in until it all melted and ready to serve.

“All done,” Josh said with a smile as he turn to look at the clock, “and Anna should be here any minute.” He left the pot of pasta on the stove so he can go get the table set up before Anna showed up.

“I’m home,” came a voice from the front door.

“Welcome home,” Josh said just as he placed the wine cup in their place, “did you bring the wine?”

“Yep,” Anna replied, floating a wine bottle over to him as she made her way towards the bedroom.

“I’ll start serving the food!” Josh shouted as he grabbed the floating wine and placed it in the middle of the table. He went back into the kitchen and grabbed the pot from the from the stove and made his way back to the table. He served a healthy amount of chicken spinach bacon alfredo on to both plates and then set the pot on the table.

“This feels so better!” Anna proclaimed as she walked out of the bedroom wearing sweatpants and a very loose shirt.

“So how bad was it today?” asked Josh asked he sat down.

“It started out fine at first,” Anna said as she took a couple of bite of pasta, “but after our lunch date everything went downhill.”

“Are you allowed to say what happed?” asked Josh as he took a sip of his wine.

“Somewhat,” Anna said as she ate some more, “one of our patients had a temper tantrum.”

“One patient?” asked Josh confused, “I’m surprised that one guy will give a psychic type such trouble.”

“Well this one patient is a Machamp morph,” Anna said as drank some of her wine, “and something triggered him to rampage across the hospital.”

“Oh wow,” Josh said exclaimed, “but my point still stands about being a Psychic.”

“Well that what I thought,” Anna said, “but something was different.”

“How so?” asked Josh.

“When I held him in my Psychic field, he was able to break free multiple times,” Anna said, “we had two other Psychic type to help out. One to help me hold him and the other to use Hypnosis to knock him out.”

“Now I understand,” Josh said leaning back on his chair, “do they know what happened to him?”

“Sorry Josh,” Anna said looking at seriously, “patient client confidentiality.”

“I understand,” Josh said as he went to eating, “I am surprised you told me as much as you did.”

“A lot of people saw what happened,” Anna said as she served herself some more, “I bet someone posted something on PokeBook by now.”

“Most likely,” Josh said as he too served himself some more, “well you can relax now.”

“Indeed,” Anna said with a smile.

The pair continues to eat and drink as they keep on sharing stories about their day. Josh told her how Stephanie had stormed into the office and Holly had frozen him into place. He had also how he got the day off tomorrow and his plan to spend the day with Sam along with her cousin Monica.

“Just as long as you don’t forget about our date,” Anna said as she took a sip of her wine, “you already had to reschedule once.”

“Yeah I know,” Josh said, “I already told Sam about our date.”

Once Anna and Josh finished eating the pair started to clean up their mess and put away any left over for Anna to take for lunch. Josh volunteered to wash the dishes while Anna just relaxed in the living room. It only took a few minutes of scrubbing and drying before he was able to join her on the couch and watched some tv. They stayed up watching some dopey sitcom and the nightly news before heading to bed.

“No fun activities tonight?” asked Josh as he began to undress.

“Not tonight dear,” Anna replied as she went into the bathroom, “we have to save some fun for tomorrow.”

“That make sense,” Josh said as he finished undressing to his boxer and join Anna in the bathroom, who was in the process of washing her teeth. He went over to his own sink and wash his own teeth while Anna finished up and left. Once he had finished, he followed her and saw that she was already undress and in bed.

“Seem you ready to knock out,” Josh chuckled as he got into bed with her.

“Hmmm,” Anna hummed as she turned and snuggle up to him, “just shut up and hold me.”

“I can do that,” Josh said as he wrapped an arm around and brought her close. He loved the warmth of her body as her soft breast squished into him and her steady breathing slowly started to lull him to sleep. The last thing he manage to do was give his Gardevoir a kiss on the lips before he let sleep overtake him.

5:15 AM

“Really,” Josh said groggily as he slammed his hand on top of the alarm.

“Five o’clock already,” groaned Anna.

“Seems so,” Josh yawned out he started to make his way out of bed. He stood up and made his way towards the bathroom when he notice a blinking LED from his phone that he left on of the dresser. He walked over to it and saw that it was a couple of messages from the guys.

Brett: Just woke up and my leg is a bit sore

Pete: Can you walk on it?

Brett: Yeah, I can but I don’t know if I can run

Al: You better take it easy

Josh join group chat

Josh: he last thing we need is for you to get severely hurt

Brett: Yeah, I know. I am even thinking of calling off work just to rest up

Al: I’ll come over if you decide to stay home

Pete: Aww little Al really cares about poor Brett

Al: Screw you

Josh: Guess we are not going on our run?

Pete: Guess not. I was asked to come in early

Brett: Guess ill see you guys on Monday then

“Everything okay, Josh?” asked Anna seeing not move from the dresser.

“Yeah,” Josh replied as he placed the phone back on the dresser and walked back bed, “I was just texting the guys.”

“And what happened?” Anna asked as she saw him get back in bed.

“Brett leg is sore, and he want to take it easy,” Josh said as he threw the cover over him and look over at Anna, “and Pete is going into work early.”

“So, going back to sleep?” asked Anna as she snuggle into him.

“I might,” Josh said as he kissed on the forehead, “I’ll just rest my eyes until you decide to get out.”

“What if I decide never to get up?” Anna asked looking up at him and kissed him on the chin.

“Then I’ll be her next to you forever,” Josh said as he kissed her on the lips.

Anna smile at him before glancing over to the clock, “how about for then hour and forty-five minutes?”

“That enough to cuddle and a bit of groping,” Josh said as he had reached around and gave her ass a grope.

“None of that,” anna said with a smile as she moved his hand away from her ass, “you can save all that energy for tonight.”

“No fair,” Josh said pouting a bit, “you going to make wait.”

“You can only look for now,” Anna said as she pulled away from him and covering her breast, “maybe.”

“Evil Gardevoir,” Josh said as he turned onto his other side.

“I wonder what you are going to do to this Evil Gardevoir,” Anna said as she traced a finger down his back.

“I’ll think of something,” Josh said as he turned back to face her, “I am trying to figure out what to do on Saturday.”

“I know you’ll think of something,” Ann said as she wrapped her arms around him.

“Holly offer to help me during her lunch break,” Josh said.

“Holly has always had something already set up just in case of an emergency,” Anna said, “backup plan for backup plans.”

“So, your telling me not to worry to much?” asked Josh.

“Pretty much,” Ann said with a smile, “she probably has things already set up.”

“If that true,” Josh said as he scratched his chin, “I would have to think of something to repay her.”

“How about you stop thinking,” Anna said as she placed her hand on his, “and enjoy your time with Sam and Monica.”

“I tend to overthink stuff, don’t I?” Josh asked her as he gave her as goofy smile.

“Yeah, you do,” Anna said as she gently bonk him on the forehead, “ever since I’ve known you.”

“Glad I have you here to bonk me in place,” Josh said with a chuckle.

“Damn straight,” Anna said with a giggle and another bonk to his forehead.

“Less bonking and more snuggling,” Josh said laughing as he pushed her hand away and hugged her tightly.

Anna let out a squeal of giggles as she tried to push away from him at first before finally relenting and returning the hug with a sigh. They laugh as they played with each other until they the tired out and held each other until Anna’s alarm went off at 7 am. Anna went to take a shower and Josh was following behind to join in, but she had stopped in.

“You were serious about?” Josh asked sounding despondent.

“Yes, I meant it,” Ann said as she pushed him out the bathroom.

“Can I at least brush my teeth?” asked Josh

“You already did,” Anna said as she was able to slam the door and lock it, “now how about you get breakfast ready.”

“Fine,” Josh grumbled as he got dress and headed out towards the kitchen.

“Can you make some bacon and eggs?” asked Anna using her Telepathy.

“Yeah, no problem,” replied Josh.

It took Josh a short to gather everything he needed to prepare there morning breakfast that by the time Anna had finished showering and had changed into her uniform everything was done. Anna had walked into the dining area where josh had already set her plate down with a cup of hot coffee already poured. Smiling she took her seat and started to have her morning breakfast and soon Josh had joined her as he had finish washing the pan he had used.

“You want me to drop you anywhere?” Anna asked as she took a bite of her bacon.

“If you drop me off at the corner near work,” Josh replied just as he had sipped his coffee.

“I thought you had the day off?” asked Anna looking up at him from her plate.

“Yeah I do,” Josh said looking at her, “it just the placed me and Sam agreed to meet.”

“Makes sense,” she nodded as she too took a sip of her coffee, “now make sure you shower. We don’t want you all stinky around the lovely ladies, do we?”

“Yes Mother,” Josh replied sarcastically before chuckling at her as he finished up and put his plate away as he way to the bathroom. He jump and to a quick shower since there was no playmate, he had decided to keep it short and simple. He pick out some blue jeans and a blue shirt before putting his shoe and double checking he had his keys and wallet with him. Once he got out of the bedroom, he glance over to the table to see if Anna was still there before looking over to the living room where he found her sitting in the sofa watching tv.

“Anything good on?” asked Josh as he sat down next to her.

“Just the news,” Anna said sounding annoyed.

“I’m guessing that they reported on what happened?” asked Josh tentatively.

“The idiot reporter insinuated that we allowed the patient to run rampant around human patients,” Anna said yelling in anger, “but only stopped him once Pokemorph patients live were in danger.”

“There is no way to prove it,” Josh said looking at the TV.

“All lies,” Anna said getting up and looking at her phone, “and I just got a text from our boss. So, we have to go now.”

Not waiting to say anything due to her current state Josh followed her outside the house and made sure to lock the door before he stood next to her. He reached out and grabbed both of her hands and gave them a gentle squeeze. Anna closed her eyes and took a couple of breath before opening them up and revealing the pinkish purple aura and soon Josh felt the all too familiar lightness.

“This is your stop,” Anna said sounding as though she calmed down.

“Thanks, Anna,” Josh smiled as he gave her hands another squeeze and leaned in to kiss her cheek, “hope you don’t have to deal with a lot crap.”

“I’m sure I will,” Anna said with a smile, “and thanks.”

“See you later then,” Josh said as he kissed her again this time on the lips before letting go and taking a few steps. She wave at him as her body was envelope in her Psychic power envelope her and then teleported away.

“Hope she gets an easy day,” Josh said as he looked at his watched and noticed that he was early, “got nothing else to do but wait for the girls to show.”

He made to the meeting placing and smiled to himself hopping that today would be interesting.
