A new place to live - Prologue: A new country, new people.
#1 of A new place to live
Hello to all. This is the first story I am writing, so I hope you will like it.
I don't know yet how many chapters it will have, maybe 10 ? 15 ? even more? Time will tell. The story will normally have no sexual content, but there may still be some NSFW scenes.
This story is therefore for an adult audience, with some homosexual content, homophobia, violence and public humiliation. The chapters concerned will have an alert if you don't want to read them.
The story starts in a university, in a fictional city with two furs. A shy and dreamy white wolf named Leo and his best friend a shiba-inu named Christophe. Here we go!
It was 7 pm, and the sun had already begun to set. The new school year would start in 2 days. Some students in the large outdoor courtyard were discussing their vacations. The university had opened a few days before the start of the semester to allow some students to settle in early.
Those still outside were watched by a white wolf with bright blue eyes leaning against the window sill of his dorm room. He was a little over 1.60 meters tall and was dressed in simple blue jeans and a blue T-shirt; his favorite color. He had a small silver necklace around his neck.
His room was only 4 by 3 meters but it had a private bathroom, and was simply furnished with a single bed near the window, a wardrobe, a desk with a new laptop and other standard school stuff. Most importantly however, was a picture of a white wolf and a shiba inu in their younger days, each with one arm on the other's shoulders. Both had a big smile.
The wolf was slightly startled when he heard a voice behind him, taking him out of his thoughts.
"Hey, albino, how are you?" said a calm voice that he knew very well. It was Christophe, his best friend. A shiba inu a little taller than Leo, standing at 1.75 meters, dressed in a black shirt and jeans.
"Please don't call me that. You know very well what that means to me," he calmly responded to the dog in a soft voice as he turned towards him.
"Sorry Leo, you seemed so deep in thought that I didn't know how to rouse you.” He gently placed his hands on Leo's shoulders. “You're not mad at me?"
"No it's okay, don't worry. It's just... nobody should call me that anymore." He said as his ears fell halfway.
"Yes," he smiled. "I'm sure there will be good people here to meet in the next few years."
"Yes, I hope you’re right." He smiled at Chris and looked him in the eyes. "Are we going to eat something in town? University curfew is 10:00 p.m. if memory serves."
"Ah, now I'm back with my favorite wolf." He rubbed his head.
"Because you know another one here? Silly dog."
Chris just shrugged his shoulders while Leo locked his room.
The two friends walked out of the dormitory, unaware that they were being watched from a few meters away. "French people here? This might be interesting," a tiger with white fur and orange stripes whispered to himself.
When the two friends exited the dorm, a cold breeze licked at their fur, signaling the arrival of autumn. “Let’s be quick, the wind is cold,” the shiba said as they walked in the direction of downtown.
“You’re the only one that's bothered by it,” the wolf smirked at him.
“Not everyone had the luck to be born in a cold country. Where do you want to eat?”
Leo thought a moment. “I saw a burger's restaurant that seemed good the other day. Let’s try it.”
Arriving at the restaurant, they were greeted by a ginger cat who was speaking with a tiger. “Hello, take a seat at a table. I’ll be there right away,” the waiter said, resuming his conversation with the tiger.
“So, what do you think about the college so far?” Chris asked Leo as they sat.
“It’s huge. I don’t know if I’ll be able to find my way in two days.”
“Well, we’ll go exploring tomorrow. I think that’ll help me too.”
“Sorry to interrupt you but…” The tiger who was spoke with the waiter a few seconds ago was now at their table. “Are you talking about the college of Kentlerde?” The tiger speaked in a deep voice.
“Um… Yeah. Why?” the shiba asked as a smile appeared on the tiger’s face.
