Hello everyone. This is it- my first time and my debut as a writer! Just a teaser for now, with more to come if interest is there.

My teaser and maybe coming story is a sort-of successor of one of my all time favorite alternative-world series "Red in Nature: Tooth and Claw" from old Jonahvore that was posted on yiffstar back in the day. In ancient times.

Since i adored that world much and wanted to start with something, well, familiar, i choose to dive into that world, combine it with my own character and own ideas.

Hope you like this little preview.

More to come in: Human's Edge: Red in Nature Fanfic.

Happy New Year to everyone! Feedback is welcome! I am still a bloody newby. A taste one by dragon standards!

"Hewwww" Cloud led out that one satiesfied moan finally realieving himself. All that pressure that had build up over the last hour subsided a little bit. He could not relax completly however, no matter how hard he tried. Having to stand on his toes to empty himself into a steel reinforced porcelain bowl the size of a tire reminded him in what kind of place and bathroom he was in.

Cloud snorted. Are these my insti...

The door being pushed open slowly suppresed his thoughts immediately. Heavy footsteps entering the cavernous bathroom, talons scraching the already worn out and splintered tiles, scales scrubbing the human-sized and way to small door frame acompanied by hard snort out of powerful nostrils and an annoyed growl no human vocal cords could emit - the unmistakeable sound of a dragon entering the room behind him.

Cloud tried to stay relaxed as good as he could, finishing his urination process while a giant sentient lizard stood in the same room a few meters behind him.

The situation could not be more unnerving and arkward.

"Sorry if i bother you with my presents, i will have finished and be gone in a second", Cloud spoke in an soothing voice, more to himself that the scaled stranger behind him, not wanting to turn around to an arkward half stare-me-down while pissing. He had to look stupid enough as it was.

Then there was a metalic rustle. CLICK

Cloud's heart skipped a beat and his eyes widened like an startled owl. That unknown dragon had just looked the door from the inside.

THUD. THUD. THUD.

Heavy steps came closer and closer, a subtle hiss underpinned by a deep throaty growl sounded behind him, echoing throughout the room.

Clouds eyes sunk deeper and deeper with every approchaing step, as he recognized that the dragon in questions was neither moving beside him to the next urninal, nor to the large stall even farther to the right. It waddled directly towards him.

The scaled feet colliding with the ground, the sound the tail made whriling from one side to the other in agitation or excitment, he could not tell, followed by little waves of rolling, stenchy bathroom air, the faint odor of reptile, alcohol and urin, now from both human and dragon.

Cloud's stream came to a halt, hand shaking and guiding his member back into his pants and closing it nice and slow. His feet touched the ground fully. Mind and senses began to sharpen,, hair standing on edge, heartbeat rising.

Clouds view were plunged into darkness when the dragons silouette appeared, grew bigger and blocked the bathroom lights. It stood now directly behind him, it's elongated snout scrathing the edge of his hair, drawing in his scents through powerful nostrils in long, audible breaths, reading him, like Chad had done so before, its piercing gaze or intentions only imaginable. There was the cracking of tensed fingerjoints getting in unknown positions. Lips parted and a tongue moved with squishing noises. Exhales, long and slow, the smell of strong liqour heavy in the air.

Cloud stood completly still as well. Ears, nose and skin tried to combine every signal there was, eyes starring blankly against the bleached out green paint above the pissoir as if seeing the answer to this situation.

Breathing almost at a full stop because the sound would distract.

Blinking would distract.

Moving a muscle would distract.

Talking felt like it would be the biggest mistake of them all.

Everything Cloud was, was being focused on whoever or whatever was behind him, puzzling everything into a picture in his mind, almost seeing it without seeing it.

Time seemed to have stopped for an instant as brain went into overdrive, trying desperatly to analyse his opponent and to foresee the upcoming moments

The footsteps it had made sounded and felt not as heavy as Chad's, the swings of the tail sounded and felt agile, almost whip-like. Its shadow is rougly double than my own, the claws had been small and flexible enough to turn the small beam of the doorlock swiftly

The exhales are hitting me at an angle of roughly 150 degrees.

The picture of an over two meters large and over three hundred kilogram heavy dragon took form, double his width and up to two heads taller than him.

Of course..., Cloud concluded, frowning. It had to be him. The red and gray raptor like dragon with whom he had quarreled before.

He must have never truly been gone. He must must have been lying in wait somewhere, for a moment like this, and must have used the rear entrance Cloud saw before entering the restroom. No way he would have been able to pass Christian or Chad unnoticed otherwise. Clouds walking alone into the bathroom had played right into its claws. The target has stupidly singled out itself.

Idiot, he warned you, Cloud rebuked himself, remembering the large dragon's warning earlier.

The final nail in the coffin was it posture the dragons moved into and its shadow gave away. Arms were extended, claws spread out, tail raised, neck drawn back and legs lowered and tense to burst.

The dragon was about to move in... for a kill. This was serious. He was in mortal danger.

"You will never get away with this", Cloud managed to force a half whisper out of his lips, closing his fists as the veins of his gloves and boots began to glow.

"I kill and devour you quickly before your Master notice anything." the familiar hissing voice of the raptor answered.

The color in his face disappeared, Cloud gritted his teeth and prepared as good as he could- as anyone could in such an unreal situation.

The dragon's shadow flicked abruptly! Right side!

Cloud ducked down and right, turning 90 degree counterclockwise with almost inhuman speed, to see sharp black talons passing infront of his nose by mere milimeters to slam into the toilet, deforming the steel frame abd smashing it to pieces.
