Hangover

After James’s scouting mission with Sasha, and had full understanding of her capabilities, and her dark side. James was so furious, the only thing he could think of is to drink it off. Fortunately his temper does cool off.

Sasha was explaining the details to the scouting mission to Alestir. Alestir listened carefully to the details on her mission. Alestir couldn’t help but notice James paying no attention to the matter as James aimlessly stared at the ground.

“James, is there any details you would like to add?” Alestir asked.

No, the information Sasha gave you was indeed accurate, the drows had some kind of weapons trade with a group of dwarves. More than likely rogue dwarves going against their own laws that prohibit trade with the drows. Sasha and I killed the two groups if there are other groups of rogue dwarves, that remains uncertain. However, seeing some drows

In the raid armed with swords, bows and arrows suggests limited supplies”, James said.

“Something troubles you, James. I sense it”, Alestir said.

“Honestly, it’s a personal matter I wish not to discuss”, James replied in understanding the fact he cannot lie without getting caught.

“Is it possible such troubles will impede your duty?” Alestir asked.

“No, it’s a matter separate from my duty. It won’t interfere, so I wish to not go into any further detail”, James said.

“As you wish, human”, Alestir said seemingly concerned. as James glanced at Sasha and Sasha cringed at the fact James was quite unhappy with her.

“Are we done here?” James asked in a clearly annoyed tone.

“Yes, you two brought very valuable information to us. Therefore, you may rest for the night.” Alestir replied.

James exited the clan leader’s cave, leaving Sasha behind. Alenia noticed the unusual behavior sense James usually gets on Sasha’s back. Sasha held her head down seemingly with guilt and worry in her mind.

She knew James had seemingly every right to be angry with her threatening to destroy the soul of another sentient being in front of him.

Alenia asked Gillian to follow James and make sure he returns to Sasha. Gillian left to follow James, Sasha stood up and left for her cave.

Gillian saw James was making his way to the tavern.

With a sigh, he landed next to James as James was walking.

“Hi James”, Gillian said in the few words he knew In English.

“Hi Gillian”, James replied trying to act as normal as possible.

“James”, he said again as he got James’s attention. Gillian stopped and reached in his leather bag on his side. He got some coins in his mouth and motioned for James to put James’s hand up to his snout.

James placed his palm up to Gillian’s snout.

Gillian released the coins in his mouth and the coins fell into James’s hand.

James counted ten coins, but they where gold coins, not silver coins.

James looked at Gillian with a confused look because on the surface world, one ounce gold coins are worth allot.

“Your pay”, Gillian said.

James reasoned it was pay for the scouting mission with Sasha. “Thank you”, James replied. Gillian opened his mouth slightly, bit on James’s coat, and picked up James. Gillian then gently placed James on his back, the two made their way to the tavern.

Sasha was laying down in her cave, thinking of a ways to make things right with James. She laid there thinking what to say, what to do to convince James that she did not mean to upset him. She knew that pulling out a soul from another creature would really strike fear into any human, and any human would normally want to be as far away from a creature capable of it. Sasha sighed, fearing she’d loose James over this.

Alenia flew into Sasha’s cave entrance.

“Sasha, may I come in?” Alenia asked.

“If you’d like to come in, come in”. Sasha said.

“Gillian is with James, so James is in good company in case he decided to go to the tavern. If that is where he was headed, Gillian will bring him to you in case he gets too drunk”, Alenia said.

“I just hope he still loves me”, Sasha said.

“May I ask why he is distancing himself?” Alenia asked.

“I did something to make him angry. You being my longtime friend, I did do something that James sees as quite terrible. It isn’t illegal or anything. But you could call it unethical”, Sasha said ominously.

“Well, I’m listening. I can’t help if I don’t know exactly what happened”, Alenia said.

“Well, it was the leader of the rogue dwarves. As I interrogated him, and he was giving me no information, I pulled his very soul out of his body before the dwarf’s eyes. James’s face showed almost as much fear as the dwarf himself. After him yelling at me, he stopped speaking to me. I think he views me as an evil monster right now”, Sasha said.

“Well, knowing humans... Their morals are different from that of a dragon’s. That would both terrorize and enrage any human. To do that in front of James, that would be a big mistake. Most humans wouldn’t wish that kind of treatment on their worst enemy. Also knowing humans, when they get mad, they need a day or two to just sort things out for themselves before they try to talk about what they are mad about and forgive. James heading to the tavern would suggest he is doing just that... In his own way”... Alenia responded.

“I do not understand that at all. What is the rational in doing that at the tavern?” Sasha asked. “Humans get irrational when angry. Look at James when he shot Kailix”, Alenia replied.

“So he’d try to hurt me”? Sasha asked.

“I highly doubt that. This is a different anger. I don’t fully understand it myself. Like I said... Humans are irrational when mad. Just let James drink it off”, Alenia said.

“Now I’m mad”, Sasha said.

“Don’t be mad, you’ll just escalate the situation. There’s allot he’ll tolerate, he probably doesn't even mind you being the household leader either. But things like this, he won’t bend on. Like I said. His logic is the exact opposite of yours in this particular case. Then you’d really piss him off even more if he knows you are mad at him. In his mind he believes he is in the right”, Alenia warned.

Sasha gave a loud sigh. “Do you think he loves me still?” Sasha asked.

“Yes, he still loves you. He’s just in a situation he never has been in before”, Alenia said.

Gillian was in the tavern with James.

James was in deep thought as he was sipping on his glass of whiskey on the rocks.

“It’s been a while sense I drank any liquor”, James thought to himself.

Gillian spoke, but James paid no attention to the foreign language he heard from Gillian. “Can’t understand Gaelic, Laddie. But I do...

Ya get locked up for crawli’n, said Gillian”, Brian said translating Gillian’s words.

“I’m not crawling on the street. I read the law”, James said.

“Laddie, Maki’n fun with folk he don’t like, is something this dragon won’t do”, Brian responded.

James sipped the last of the whiskey in his glass. “Another, please”... James said.

“Ya plan on hurti’n laddie”? Brian asked.

“One pain shall lessen another”, James responded. Brian gave James another glass of whiskey on ice...

Several hours have passed, Alenia and Sasha where laughing. Alenia found a way to brighten up Sasha’s spirits. The sound of wings beating in the air can be heard in Sasha’s cave.

“Remember, do not get angry with him. He is probably quite drunk as well”. Alenia said.

Gillian landed at the enterance and lowered James who Gillian had to carry. James tried to stand up as Gillian set him down. But James’s world was wobbly and slightly spinning James fell to the ground.

“Oh no”, Sasha said.

“Goddamn it”, James cussed at himself.

“Need help, human? I got a nice little cell for you”, Alenia said in a teasing tone.

“I broke no law, cop!” James said, with an agitated tone.

“Careful how you speak when around flesh eaters”, Alenia said.

“As you can imagine, I’m quite desensitized to that”. And there’s one worse than a flesh eater here”, James said.

Sasha cringed at the last part of what James said.

“Ouch... James, that’s not a fair statement. I advise you to at least be civil and explain to Sasha how you feel in a calm manner”, Alenia said.

James crawled, using his knees and elbows.

“Thank you Gillian for getting me home!” James said.

“He loves you still, he called your cave home”, Alenia whispered in Sasha’s ear.

“I’m drunk, not deaf!” James yelled. James stopped crawling and found the cave floor to be slightly chilly.

“Is it me, or is the cave floor comfortable”, James said.

“Come on, James... I don’t want you on the cave floor. You’ll be sore from sleeping on the rocky floor. To add to that, you’ll surely have a very bad headache in the morning. James thought of Sasha’s logic a little bit. So he crawled to the wall of the cave. He sat up against the wall.

“I take my leave”, Alenia said.

Alenia and Gillian then flew to their home to let Sasha and James work through their issues.

Sasha approached James and laid next to him.

“James, I’m sorry that I offended you. I won’t use such magic ever again. I understand why you hate such acts”, Sasha said.

“Well yes, it’s perfectly acceptable to kill the enemy, but to threaten their soul as if you somehow have the authority to do such things, that’s wrong and dark. That kind of power is a power no one should have. That kind of power can corrupt anyone. And to think you’re incorruptible by such power is an arrogance that’ll surely land you into trouble. I’m not offended by what you did. I fear what such things would turn you into”, James said as he rubbed her cheek.

Sasha let out an audible sigh. “I see how you think. I’m glad you do think this way to be honest. Fear not, it won’t happen again”, Sasha said as she began licking James’s chest.

James sighed in relief, “I could use a comfortable place to sleep”.

Sasha chuckled... “I’m still in heat. A shame you’re this wasted. Should have resolved this issue sober”, Sasha cooed in his ear.

“Damn I should have thought this through. I’m so drunk, I probably couldn’t perform for you”, James said.

“Yes, you should have. But I really don’t blame you. Also, if you get undressed, you’ll still have a great place to sleep. The headache you’ll have in the morning however, is a second part of your own lesson”, Sasha chuckled.

James struggled taking his shirt off due to the alcohol.

“Here, let me help”, Sasha said as she began to slip her tongue under James’s shirt. Her breath warded off the night chill.

She then helped James remove his shoes and his pants. Then helped him remove his undergarments.

Sasha coiled her tongue around James and gently pulled him into her mouth. She then lifted her head and placed James in her storage pouch in her throat.

“Having a human mate sure is alot of work”, Sasha thought to herself.

Content knowing James still loves her, she too closed her eyes and laid her head on the ground. She then

closed her eyes, and succumbed to her own emotional exhaustion.

Alenia, and Calon rounded up three hundred dragons, three hundred clan members consisting of elves, and dwarves, along with the one thousand five hundred dwarves that consisted of

Calon’s army. They were training the smaller clan members how to ride on a dragon’s back, as well as shooting firearms off of their back.

Gillian noticed that there was a safety concern. He noticed one elf with the rifle, had to avoid shooting around the neck and head of Kailix, the dragon he was on top of. Gillian ordered Kailix to spread his wings and Kailix complied.

Gillian observed the mounted gunman could only shoot slightly left and slightly right between the dragon’s neck and the dragon’s wings all the while, avoiding hitting the dragon if the dragon makes a sudden movement or else the dragon would get shot in the head accidentally. Gillian concluded that his mate’s dragon ridding gunmen idea is one that cannot be done without a very high risk of friendly fire.

“Well, that idea cannot work”, Alenia said after Gillian explained the dangers.

“Ey Lassie, an Idea I have. They don’t shoot on their backs. But a backup partner for the dragons. When a dragon is down and the rider survives, they shoot the enemy till they find a cover or a sort. Seek medical attention they could”, Calon suggested.

“Good idea, Dad”. Alenia said.

“Where be yer friend, Sasha?” Calon asked.

“She just came back from a scouting mission, and broke the enemies arms supplies. Some issues came up between her, and her mate. She’s resolving those issues”, Alenia explained. “Sasha! Finally got a mate she did? Suprized I am, a solitary dragon she is sense she never liked other dragons”, Calon stated.

“Her mate is a human”, Alenia said.

“Oh, in for it she is then. Humans be tricky”, Calon said.

Alenia broke out in laughter. “And he is pissed at her already!” Alenia said.

“An odd dragon yer friend is, she be a skilled fighter however. Where they be? A use for them, there is”, Calon stated.

“More than likely sleeping. And the human, his name is James. He is a rude one when drunk too. They just got back from one mission, let them rest the night. They worked hard already. “In the morning, send for them. Those two are two we’ll need”, Calon said.

“True enough, I’ll have a healer deal with James’s headache and hangover in the morning”, Alenia stated.

At dawn, Alenia arrived at Sasha’s cave.

“Sasha, wake up! Get James ready too! You’re being called to service again!” Alenia shouted, then took flight.

Sasha regurgitated James out of her throat, and gently laid James on the ground. James opened his eyes, then clutched his hands against his head as he moaned in pain. “I know you don’t feel well, but we are called to service again”, Sasha said softly.

James slowly stood up, but he was barely able to stand due to his headache and nausea. He gripped his stomach. Sasha laid his clothes in front of him.

“We’ll see a healer for your ailments, I assure you. But you must get dressed”, Sasha said.

James looked at his clothes with his bloodshot and glazed over eyes. His world was still slightly wobbly. He was still drunk, but feeling of a hangover is what he feels as well. He sat down and began to dress himself.

“Sorry about saying you where worse than a flesh eater. That was uncalled for”, James said as he moved to put his pants on.

“I figured it was the alcohol doing the talking, not you. Apology accepted”, Sasha said.

“I love you”, James stated.

“That eases my mind, and I love you too”, Sasha replied. James stood up and slowly walked and stumbled to Sasha.

“Yah you really should see a healer. You may be close to alcohol poisoning. Drinking while emotional isn’t always a wise choice”, Sasha said.

“Yah Gillian cut me off, after spending half a gold coin's worth of whiskey”, James said. “What!?!? You spent half a gold coin’s worth!?!?

Ok human, new rule... You only drink with me as your chaperone. Guys shouldn’t drink together without a female talking sense into them when they had enough”, Sasha said.

James was fully dressed, but he laid back down.

“No James, we must go”, Sasha said.

“Ten more minutes”, James said.

“Nope, off to our healer we go. She’ll have herbs for you”, Sasha said as she bit down on his coat and lifted him up, then set him on her back.

“I don’t think I can hang on”, James said.

Sasha spoke in a foreign language.

“Try to get off of me now”, Sasha stated.

“I can do it”, James said.

“Exactly, that also means you cannot fall off”, Sasha replied.

“Well, problem is solved then”, James thought to himself.

Sasha took flight, the two were on their way to see a healer.

“Hi Traza, I have a sick human for you”, Sasha said.

The elf took one look at James and noticed his bloodshot eyes, and pale face. “Too much at the tavern?” She asked James.

“A little bit”, James responded.

“Allot of bit”, Sasha corrected James.

“Come with me, James”, Traza said.

James slowly made his way into Traza’s hut.

After boiling some leaves and what appeared to be ginger, Traza poured the brew into a cup. “Drink this human”, Traza bade.

James started sipping on the tea.

“It’s willow leaf, a good pain reliever. The ginger is for your sour stomach. There’s plenty more of it if you feel it’s needed”, Traza informed James.

After fifteen minutes, James drank the entire tea pot of the medicinal tea that Traza brewed for him.

“I recommend rest if possible. Eating a good breakfast and rest will do you allot of good. That much alcohol could have given you a worse condition. That’ll be four silver”, Traza said. James paid her the four silver and walked out of the hut.

“Feel a little better, James?” Sasha asked.

The headache and stomachache isn’t so bad anymore. Once I eat, my stomach will settle more”, James said.

“Good to know, I’m glad you’ll feel better. We have much to do. Damn you humans are hard work you know”, Sasha chuckled.

“Imagine the female ones”, James said.

“So that’s why you don’t mind your mate being a dragon? Oh now this makes sense”, Sasha said.

“Nope that wasn’t it, it just so happens only a dragon can handle me. You know, a dragon, you sure where in need of a human. Getting into firefights, dodging bullets, facing enemies either twice my height, or twice my strength. Man you dragons sure are difficult. Just in different ways. But yes, there is less drama I’ll admit. Save for pulling souls out of sentient beings. So far however, attempted destruction of other souls would be my only complaint”, James said.

“Weeeelllllll”, Sasha turned her head and looked away from James....

“Well what?” James asked.

“I may need my little knight again”, Sasha said.

“And you complained about one human being allot of work?” James asked raising an eybrow. “Damn, bested by a human again. Well, let’s get you something to eat. You must be starving”, Sasha said.

Sasha took James to a nearby restaurant. James was eating a breakfast sandwich with a ginger ale. Sasha went out hunting for herself.

Where is Sasha? Alenia asked, and startled James as he heard Alenia’s voice behind him. “Hunting”, James replied.

“Good to know, thank you”, Alenia said as she took flight.

“Eye laddie, don’t think ya have a three way with two lassie dragons”, an elderly looking dwarf said.

“You sick old fart, one Lassie dragon is almost too much to handle. Let alone two. Besides, you have no clue what Sasha is capable of. If she was here, you’d be shitting bricks. However, I’ll make you choke on your food for another statement like that”, James responded to the dwarf.

“So you be Sasha’s mate. I’m Calon, Alenia’s da”, Calon said to James.

“Then why do you have only two legs and no wings. Where are your scales?” James asked. “Found her as a wee little hatchling I did. Wondering alone allong me mountain. Took her in meself”, Calon said.

“Alenia has a mate, or has your memory faded with age”, James responded as he sipped his ginger ale.

Calon threw a fist at James, James dodged his fist. James stood up and a fist fight began. The short old man would swing at James but James both dodged and blocked his blows. As James predicted, the old man eventually got winded and tired. The dwarf placed his hands on his knees and began breathing heavily.

“Old man you’re lucky I don’t knock your lights out here and now”, James said to Calon.

Calon then rushed James. Calon’s shoulder slammed James in the groin. James grunted and Calon had James over his shoulder. James quickly realized Calon was very strong regardless of his age and being so short in height. With his arms however, James managed to make Calon trip sense his hands where almost touching the ground. Quickly James put Calon in a choke hold, Calon struggled, and tried to make James let go of him. James struggled to keep his hold around Calon’s neck. “Knowledge beats brute strength old man”, James managed to say. Approximately a minute late, Calon lost consciousness.

Calon regained consciousness, seeing Alenia, Gillian, Sasha, and James standing next to him. “Dad, you can thank James for not pressing charges on you after I explained that is how you greet others. He is a guardsmen for the clan by the way”, Alenia said.

“Lassie, I was pokin fun at him. Just to get him to fight. Throw the first fist I did, but just testing his abilities. Maki’n sure he’s a good fighter for y’er friend Sasha’s sake”, Calon said.

“Oh Calon, James can handle himself. How about I be the judge on who has my back”, Sasha said.

“Ya chose wisely Lassie. A good fighter he is”, Calon replied.

“So let me get this straight... You fought me because you wanted to see me fight”? James asked.

“Eye laddie”, Calon said.

“Just keep your father under control, Alenia”. James said, clearly annoyed by the situation.

“Ey Human, mind y’er temper. Hot blooded y’er are”, Calon said.

“You decided to fight me while I was recovering from a hangover”, James said.

“That be the best cure for a hangover laddie. A good fight make y’er forget a hangover”, Calon said.

“Oh dad, can you introduce yourself in a less embarrassing way?” Alenia asked.

“Crazy old man”, James said as he got on Sasha’s back. James then wrapped his arms arround Sasha’s neck and stroked her scales with his hands.

“Next time ya drink, y’er ale be on me”, Calon said to James.

“No, James no longer drinks unless he is my company. Males drinking with males is always a precursor to trouble. Half a gold coin’s worth of trouble. Can’t get anything done here when dealing with a sickly human”, Sasha said.

“She’s the boss”, James added”.

Ey, Laddie! What be ya doi’n lettin the female be the head of y’er household!”, Calon said. “Notice... My female has claws, teeth and breathes fire”, James replied.

Sasha gave Calon a toothy grin.

“Ey Lad, point taken it is”, Calon said.

“Well, this matter is settled. James, Sasha, there’s a large military camp in Deadwoood. We’ve planned an attack for the drows. We plan on eliminating these creatures from this area of the otherworld. If you could help by luring them out as a distraction, this would help us in an ambush”, Alenia said.

“When do we leave”? James asked.

“This afternoon. Go to the armory and gather as many supplies you need. Gillian, Calon, and I will meet you there”, Alenia said.

“Better hurry and gear up. We have just enough time for me to have some fun with you before we leave”, Sasha said.

“Too the armory!” James screamed.

“Oh now fine he feels”, Calon said.

An hour later, James was stocked on supplies, with his gear next to the cave entrance.

With his headache and sour stomach gone, he felt very well. He looked to see if Sasha was ready to go. Sasha approached James with a map in her mouth. “Ache et, Ames”, Sasha said, speaking with the map in her mouth.

James took the map and placed it in his bag.

As soon as he placed the map in his bag, James turned around and James saw Sasha's open maw and steamy breath inches from his face. Before James could say anything, Sasha coiled James’s face in her tongue and clamped her Jaws around James. Sasha used her tongue to protect James from her teeth as she intended to be a little rough with him.

Sasha released James’s head from her jaws.

“Gotcha, don’t turn your back on a dragon, human”, Sasha said.

“The more you do that the more I’m compelled to turn my back”, James said as he began to undress himself.

“Like it rough huh? Fine then. Rough is how you’ll get it”, Sasha said swaying her tail as she put her ring on,

While the ring did make her smaller, Sasha is still twice as strong as James. James stood up as he finnished undressing himself. Sasha pounced on him, James stood for a second. Sasha wrapped her forelegas, hind legs, and wings around him. Finally she coiled her tail around James’s legs, making him trip and fall to the ground with her on top of him. Sasha then placed her jaws around James’s neck, as a huntress would typically do with her prey.

She began sucking on his neck, James found it to be slightly uncomfortable due to her sucking on him so hard. James cringed as the discomfort began to turn into a pain, as if he’s being pinched. To his amazement, he began to enjoy this too.

Sasha then moved her tail between James’s legs and she hissed slightly after placing his member inside her.

With her tail, she moved James’s hips slowly back and forth against her, keeping him deep in her as she continued sucking on him.

In a half hour’s time, smoke began comming out of Sasha’s nostrils.

Sasha paid no attention to James as she began to get carried away as the huntress. The smoke from her nostrils began to puff a small flame.

“Sasha! Muzzle in a safe direction!” James yelled as he got concerned with the potential safety hazard that comes along with her climax.

James squirmed and moaned as he climaxed and Sasha released James’s neck from her Jaws as spewed a massive flame as she too finally broke.

“I enjoyed this one, had you all locked up and helpless. Completely at my mercy, and showed you none”, Sasha said. “

“You showed me none!” James exclaimed in laughter.

“That was really good indeed”, James added.

“Hmmm you got a little trail of blood on your neck. Here, let me get it”, Sasha said as she began to lick the wound on his neck.

“It’ll heal in an hour or two. Get dressed, we must meet up with the others in Deadwood”, Sasha said
