Chapter Three
#4 of Sanctuary
Chapter Three of Fifteen
Returning to Sanctuary Ava took her boys to her dorm to eat. Kayden had turned back to his human form, his entire front soaked in blood. Jayden teased him until they got to her dorm.
Ava put Jay to work in the kitchen on dinner then turned to Kayden and said.
"Go clean yourself up in my bathroom. I still have your blood towels from our last time working together. Just don't forget to wipe the tub out."
He nodded gazing at her.
"Yes Alpha."
"And don't worry I will get Jay back for all his teasing for you."
Ava winked at him. Kayden smiled and said.
"I love you Alpha. You give me reasons to be kind and usually I hate it. But with you, I could do this forever."
"I love you too boy. Go on now."
Ava joined Jayden in the kitchen and ran her hand across his back.
"What are you going to make?"
He smiled and glanced at her.
"Chicken Tacos. Kay's favorite."
"To make up for you teasing?"
"Sorta. Best way to Kay's heart is through his stomach."
"You care for your brother better than any other siblings I have ever met."
"We were raised differently than most Lycans. We were all we have, besides our mother."
"And me."
Ava cuddled into his side. His hands stilled and he looked at her.
"Of course, how could I forget you."
"Rude."
She teased smiling at him. Jayden laughed and hugged her into his side.
"Forgive me. You are in a class all your own."
"Forgiven."
Ava replied. She hugged tight to Jayden while he prepped their food. He was a great cook and always made them amazing food. Ava heard the shower turn off and she let out a soft sigh.
"I'm going to check on Kay, make sure he rinses that tub."
He nodded and Ava went to her bathroom door.
"Kay? You decent?"
"Yes."
She came into the bathroom watching him tie a towel around his waist.
"Just finished rinsing your tub."
"Thank you, that's why I came to check on you."
Ava shut the door behind her watching him check his hair for blood in the mirror. One of the two ways she could tell them apart, besides their voices, was a large scar Kayden had on his back. Someone had got lucky once and sliced his back open during a job. She came over and traced her fingers down his long scar.
"How you feeling?"
"Good. I think this team thing will work out well."
"I do too. You're clean up there."
He smiled and turned to her.
"Sure you can see the top of my head Alpha?"
She growled and socked him right in the arm.
"Shut up. Your brother is making chicken tacos for you. Hurry up and get dressed."
Kayden chuckled unfazed by her punch.
"Of course."
><
Late that night Ava laid in her bedroom alone. The twins had gone back to their dorm for the night. It was quiet without them and her dorm somehow felt bigger without them taking up so much space.
She laid in bed half listening to her TV and half lost in her own thoughts. Kayden's question had really struck her core today. She truly felt no desire to go out and find a "boyfriend" or anything like that. There would be no way she could trust someone fully without them being a part of the Black Paw. And most of the males in Sanctuary she had worked with or didn't much care for. The most she ever thought about this was when she would want to get laid. That was easier. Find them, fuck them, and leave. Easy with no strings attached trust. It had been about a month since she had been inmate with anyone. Usually once a month she would wander out and find someone to ease her ache for her. Nothing special just a way to relax.
She rolled to her side and gave a heavy sigh. Maybe it was time to find someone to ease this ache again.
><
The next morning Ava was shaken awake by a soft growl in her room. She blinked her eyes open and readied to attack but was met with a familiar smiling face.
"Alpha. You would strike me with such anger?"
She sighed angrily and flopped back down into bed. Kayden.
"You scared me."
He slipped into her bed beside her and let out another soft growl.
"Apologies Alpha, we missed you was all."
She felt Jayden slide into bed on her other side, growling as well.
"We got our money last night. Much better than any other jobs we've worked alone. Thought we would take you out to celebrate."
Ava felt them both curl into her body, shielding her from the chill of her room. Jayden laid against her back keeping her pinned between them. Kayden's arm slid under her pillow as he pressed her body into his chest. She smiled, it was always sweet when they both laid with her.
"Picked my lock again didn't you Jay?"
"Of course. We wanted to come find you and boast about how well we did."
Jayden replied with a smile. Kayden agreed then said.
"Mostly to celebrate. Would you go out with us? I am hungry."
"Out for breakfast?"
She asked.
"Yes, it is the least we can do to thank you for teaming up with us."
Kayden's voice was soft again for some reason. His usual growly tone gone. She opened her eyes staring at Kayden's throat. His head resting atop hers.
"Alright, I am not hungry yet though."
"We know Alpha. We are willing to lay with you until then."
Her eyes closed again, more tired than she thought. Their soft breathing brought her dangerously close to falling back asleep. Stirring slightly she stretched out her body between them.
"I won't wake up if we keep lying here."
They were silent then. Ava lifted her head slightly and met Kayden's eyes.
"You two alright? Seem quiet this morning."
"We are still tired as well."
Jayden mumbled close to her ear. Kayden gave her a smile and gently touched her face.
"We woke up and wanted nothing but to be with you."
Ava smiled lazily, lying her head back down. It was always a joy when Kayden was sweet like this. She expected it from Jayden by now.
"So you two just decided to crawl out of your bed to climb into mine?"
"Yes."
They answered together. She gave a light laugh then asked.
"Weren't you busy last night? I know what you two do when you come back from a job. Is there a limping female wandering around somewhere? Upset you kicked her out to come lay with me?"
"We didn't last night."
Jayden spoke softly as always. Ava could feel him press his head against her. She was surprised. Typically after a job they wouldn't stay the night with her so they could go off and fuck some random woman. No one from the Sanctuary wanted them so they usually would have to find a human female. With them being bigger males it wasn't difficult for them.
"No? I thought for sure you two would. It's what you do after a job."
They were silent again. Ava lifted her head and watched Kayden meet his brother's eyes. They were up to something. She huffed and nudged Kayden.
"Answer me."
"We are tired of human females."
Jayden explained. She looked back at him and said.
"Males never tire of fucking."
"These two do."
He replied simply. Ava looked back towards Kayden who met her eyes. He looked so serious.
"Neither of us wanted to last night. We were more excited for how much money we got and to take you out to breakfast this morning."
"More excited to take me out than fuck someone?"
Ava laughed.
"You two have lost it."
Kayden's eyes moved back to Jayden who's arm seemed to grow tighter around her waist. Her smile dimming a bit she studied Kayden's face.
"Alright, what is wrong. The both of you are acting strangely this morning."
"There is nothing wrong Alpha."
Kayden assured her.
"We are fine."
"Something is up with you two. Spill it or I will beat it out of you."
Kayden smiled down at her and said.
"You couldn't hurt us if you tried."
"I promise, nothing is wrong."
Jayden added. Ava moved to lay on her back looking between them both.
"Alright I guess. So how much did we wind up making from the job?"
"10K. So roughly 4k each."
Jayden said smiling.
"Few more jobs like that and I can finally upgrade my computer properly."
"Nerd."
Kayden grumbled. He laid back down beside her as Ava smacked his arm.
"Leave him alone. I am excited for you Jay. I know you've wanted a few things for a while."
"Yes, this was a good idea for us to team up."
"I agree."
Ava let out a soft yawn then asked.
"What about you Kay? What do you want with your money?"
"New knives."
He answered plainly. Ava laughed and turned her head to him.
"You have like...a hundred knives."
"Never enough."
He growled. Ava sighed and turned her head to look at Jayden.
"And he calls you a nerd..."
"Right."
Kayden let out a deep growl lifting his head to glare at his brother. Jayden smiled and kept his eyes on Ava.
"He's all growly today too."
"Probably because he didn't get laid."
"I am lying right here guys."
Kayden retorted. Ava laughed and looked over at him.
"Well it's true. I can always tell when you need to get laid. You are all growly and cranky."
"I could say the same about you Alpha."
Kayden's words surprised her and her face must have read it. He gave her a wicked smile then said.
"You are quite pushy when you need release."
"Oh shut up."
"Pushy today aren't we."
Ava felt his hand slide across her stomach, slipping under her shirt a bit.
"Let me think...yeah it's been about a month now."
Ava glared at him but felt her cheeks starting to burn with color.
"You don't know anything."
"I would agree with him."
Jayden said. Ava growled over at him then said.
"You are supposed to be on my side."
Jayden laughed gazing at her.
"I am. Always."
Kayden's rough hand smoothed back and forth across her toned stomach, his nails barely dragging on skin. Ava tried to stay tough but Jayden of course didn't help her. He massaged her back with his knuckles. She fell silent and let her eyes close under their soft touches. It must have been longer than a month if even this was nice.
Kayden's hand moved all the way under her shirt making her smile.
"Getting a bit fresh with me hound. Sure you two don't want to go find someone to bang it out with?"
"No."
His answer was short and self-assured. Jayden made a soft sound to Kayden who responded with a grunt. Ava opened her eyes and looked over at Jayden.
"Don't you go speaking your own language around me. What are you two up to?"
"We wanted to ask something of you."
He replied, his fingers moving to her neck. Dancing across her jugular to her collar bone. Ava nodded unsure of what they wanted.
"If it's for cuddling I believe we are already doing that."
"No, it's something else."
Kayden said shaking his head.
"Something we have discussed for a while now."
"WE? You mean you two."
Ava snapped. Kayden smiled down at her, his nails dragging down her stomach.
"Yes, us two."
"We were unsure if it was even right to ask."
Jayden added, his voice saddened suddenly. Ava felt his fingers just graze against her windpipe. It had been too long, her body betrayed her and started to grow warm under their touches. Jayden's big hand at her throat made her mouth dry.
"Right to ask?"
"It is an odd feeling."
Kayden sighed heavily.
"We were raised to take what we want. Do what we please. But with you, it's different. We would never hurt you or break your trust. I mean...we follow your orders without question. Without even thinking. Once you ask something of us we jump to do it. It's odd."
"And we obviously don't want to ruin the relationship we have with you already."
Jayden added.
"We have known each other for sixty years. To lose this would be like losing a piece of ourselves."
"You two are starting to worry me."
Ava said, her mind buzzing with thoughts. Kayden let out another sigh and looked over at Jayden.
"Should I ask her?"
"Yes, if you don't soon, I will."
Ava stared up at Kayden, confused. His beautiful eyes moved to focus on hers as a smile spread across his face.
"We want to lay with you."
"You are already..."
"With much less clothing."
Jayden added in a soft growl. Ava pushed herself up to sit and couldn't look away from Kayden.
"Like sex?"
"Yes."
"Wait...you both do?"
Kayden's eyes didn't leave hers as his head nodded slowly. Her heart thumped in her chest as Jayden's hand ran up her back, under her shirt. She was just stunned. Never had they ever shown any sort of feelings towards her like this before.
"Would you want...like to date me?"
"We aren't looking for that right now and we know neither are you."
Kayden explained. His eyes were fiercely intense.
"We have needs and we are sure so do you. You let us hold you when we are upset or just need comfort."
"So...you'd just want to fuck around with me?"
"We are tired of human females."
Jayden growled behind her.
"They do not compare to what our own kind can do in bed. What we know you could do for us."
Ava looked back at Jayden, not believing he could speak like this. He was always reserved and kind with her. It was strange to hear this from him.
"I don't know about the both of you at the same time. I don't want to start fights between you two."
They both laughed confusing her more. Kayden sat up beside her shaking his head.
"We don't fight over anything, Alpha. What makes you think you could turn brother against brother?"
"Well...I don't know...I'm just so stunned. I never would have guessed this is what you wanted to ask me."
"We decided last night to bring it up."
Jayden appeared beside her sitting in bed as well. Ava stared at him.
"You said you've discussed this before?"
"Yes, we have."
Kayden admitted.
"You are quite attractive and we know you are just as wild as we are. We wouldn't follow you so willingly if you weren't."
"How long have you thought about this?"
Jayden laughed and replied.
"About a year."
"A YEAR!?"
Ava was just blown away. Her brain unable to handle the information being told to her. Kayden let out a growl catching her eyes.
"I was the one who brought it up to Jay first."
"You?"
"Yes, me."
He moved into her sliding his hand up the back of her shirt as his lips kissed her neck.
"The idea of making my Alpha scream in ecstasy is just too good to pass up."
Ava blushed as he kissed her shoulder. Jayden settled on her other side his hand slipping into hers.
"We both want you wrapped up in the throes of passion with us. We care for you in every other way...let us ease this ache for you."
Ava shuttered making Kayden chuckle.
"I think Alpha likes the idea."
"I dunno...you sure nothing will change between us? I'd hate for sex to become the reason we drift apart..."
"Nothing will change. We both can promise you that."
Jayden answered shaking his head.
"And I know that is something most males say to females when they are trying to get them into bed."
"And we know you have heard it before."
Kayden added.
"That is why we are asking you. You can say no and we will never bring it up again. You are our Alpha."
He smiled at her and pulled her into his side.
"We obey you."
Ava looked from Jayden to Kayden and let out a soft sigh. She had, in passing once or twice, thought about trying to get them into bed with her. Shrugging it off easily most of the time, it was just a fleeting thought. But now with both of them speaking like this it was exciting her.
"I-I've never...with two before..."
She stammered out her words, suddenly shy. Her cheeks flared red as she looked down at her floor.
"At the same time I mean."
"If you want us to take turns, we are used to that too."
Jayden joked squeezing her hand. Kayden spooked her a bit by growling right next to her ear. Her skin prickled under his breath.
"What do you think Alpha? Would you be willing to let us ease this ache for you?"
Ava's body hummed with anticipation now. Her chest felt tight and her core warmed. She looked Kayden in the eyes and felt her restraint leave her.
"You two won't fight over me?"
"Never."
They promised. Ava trusted their words and nodded.
"Ask me again."
Jayden growled and kissed her shoulder. Kayden eyes stayed locked with hers as that same wicked smile from before appeared.
"Would you allow your hounds to make you scream out their names?"
Another chill raced up Ava's spine from Kayden's words. How could she not have known he could speak like this.
"Yes..."
As soon as her answer left her Kayden let out a impossibly deep growl, his eyes sinful. She turned and looked at Jayden who had the same wicked smile on his face.
"Yes to both of you. But I have one single condition."
"Anything."
The both growled. Ava smiled and touched Jayden's arm.
"We keep this between us. I don't want the entire Sanctuary knowing I am sleeping with two males at the same time. My father can and will kill me."
"That's fine. We don't much speak with anyone here but you."
Jayden replied.
"We will keep your secrets Alpha."
Kayden turned her head back to him and growled.
"No one will know it is our names you cry out at night."
Ava gazed at him, lost in his harsh words. Jayden's hand ran up the full length of her back, gripping the nape of her neck.
"No one will know it is us who ease your most primal ache."
Her entire body tensed up as Jayden held the back of her neck in his large hand.
"I-I can't help but feel shy now."
She stuttered out. Kayden shook his head as Jayden carefully laid her back down into bed.
"No fear Alpha. It is just us. You have known us for a lifetime."
"We will care for you."
Jayden added gazing down at her. Ava moved back into her rightful spot in bed and asked.
"Did you want to now?"
"No."
Kayden replied much to her sadness.
"We want to take you out to thank you first."
"And also set some rules."
Ava laid out in her bed watching them.
"Rules?"
"More like guidelines."
Jayden answered with a shrug. Ava nodded but was surprised she was sad they didn't want to right then.
"But not now...?"
Kayden growled and moved towards her, his blue eyes flashing with excitement.
"You sound disappointed Alpha."
She smiled at him as he laid down beside her.
"I am just as surprised as you are. I didn't think you two would ever...flirt with me."
"It has been hard to curb our language with you."
Jayden growled. He moved back to her other side, lying back down.
"As well as our touches. Many times I have wanted to slip my hand into your sweat pants."
Ava shivered. Jayden speaking like this was so new to her, it was overwhelming. He was a sly dog just like his brother.
"I've never noticed either of you getting a hard-on while we cuddle or hug or anything."
"We are old."
Kayden said with a smile.
"We know how to hide our best assets."
Ava laughed covering her face with her hands.
"Oh my god. So wait, you two have thought about this for a year?"
"Yes, you've entered our dreams many a nights."
Jayden said. He and Kayden closed the space between them and Ava's body as she said.
"Was I interesting in your dreams?"
"Very."
Kayden growled. Jayden nodded in agreement. Ava smiled then said.
"How about we go get us some food so we can further discuss these "guidelines" you want to set in place."
They both nodded and smiled down at her.
"Yes."
Ava studied Jayden's eyes then reached out to touch his strong face.
"One thing before we go."
"Anything."
She had lost her mind. This was what crazy felt like. She pulled Jayden close to her by his chin and kissed his lips. Turning to Kayden she pulled him in and did the same. They both grew their wicked smiles, their eyes trained on her. Ava laid back down, proud of herself.
"Alright, we can go now."
"Yes Alpha."
