Chapter Seven
#8 of Sanctuary
Chapter Seven of Fifteen
Ava was happy to return to her dorm the next day. The twins went to their dorm to unpack and shower leaving her alone in her own room. She quickly unpacked her own things then decided to call her father. It had been a few weeks since they last spoke.
Sitting on her couch she put her phone to her ear.
<Why hello there Ava.>
"Hey dad. How have you been?"
<Great now that I have heard from you. Been a while.>
"I know dad, I'm sorry. You know how busy I get."
<I know. You and those twins gallivanting all over the world. So what's up?>
Ava paused for a moment staring down at her floor. She was unsure of how to start.
"Just needed some advice I guess."
<About what?>
"I don't know. I'm kinda all tangled up in my head."
<Aw I'm sorry Squid.>
Ava rolled her eyes at her childhood nickname.
"Dad..."
<What? I'm your father. It's my job to give you stupid nicknames. Why don't you tell me what's got you all tangled?>
"I've been doing this for a very long time...you know."
<Yes I do, but I know you have those twins with you. Even though I don't understand your relationship with them you seem happier with them, so I have no qualms against it. Plus they keep my baby girl safe. You three made some headlines here with what I am guessing was your last job. Peter?>
"Yes, we did well there. But that's not what I'm upset about. I love my job."
<Course you do. Stone cold killer. I'm so proud. Well spill it then. What's up?>
"I...I'm lonely..."
Ava shut her eyes and gave a heavy sigh. She heard her father suck his teeth then say.
<Aw Squid...haven't you made any friends?>
"Yes I have a few. But...that's not entirely what I mean."
<Ah...that kind of lonely. I get it. Maybe it's time to find yourself a male. I met your mother around your age.>
"Nothing like a late start..."
Her father laughed which made her feel a bit better.
<Yes I would agree. One hundred and twenty six years is bit long of time to find your soulmate but I was never happier than after I met your mother.>
"How did you know she was the one?"
<Oh I could go on for hours about how I knew she was mine. You can't compare our story to your own. You just know. Have you been on any dates recently?>
Her mind wandered back to her "date" with the twins. She mostly was playing around with them, calling their outing a date.
"Sort of."
<Well you won't fix your loneliness being on the phone with me. You are a brave and wonderful Lycan Ava. You'll find someone who sparks your flame better than anyone else ever could. Go out on a few dates. You have a lot to offer to anyone's table.>
"There is this new guy who started here. Thomas Cain."
<Follow your gut Ava. It's the one thing I know both me and your mother beat into your head. Trust your senses.>
"I will dad. I'm just...lonely."
<It'll be alright Squid. If you need me to come visit for a while just say the word and I'm on the next flight out.>
"Really?"
<Of course. You want me to come out?>
"Maybe just for a few days. I just got back from another job this morning."
<Alright, I will pack up and head out tonight. Should be there by tomorrow afternoon.>
"Thanks dad...means a lot."
<Anything for you hon. Think you can hold out until I get there?>
"Yes, I'm excited to see you. Been a while."
<Yes it has. I'll be there soon Squid. Love you.>
"Love you too dad. Bye."
She hung up her phone then gazed over at her door. Standing up she grabbed her hoodie and went out into the common room. See if Thomas was around.
><
Ava found Thomas sitting at the bar in the common room alone. She wandered over to him and he smiled when he noticed her.
"Why hello there Fox. I was hoping to see you."
"Thought you'd be out on a job."
"I was but I had some issues with my rifle."
Thomas waved to the stool next to him and said.
"Join me. Drink?"
"Sure, I just got back this morning."
Ava settled beside him and he smiled at her.
"Good job?"
"Yes, easier than I thought."
He laughed and gave her a beer.
"I'm sure your teammates help make all your jobs easier."
Ava gazed at him then said.
"If you are going to give me shit about teaming up with them..."
"I'm not."
He replied with a laugh. Ava was surprised, everyone always gave her shit for the twins.
"They are your team not mine. Besides..."
Ava met his brown eyes and he gave her a kind smile.
"I'm more interested in you. I've heard many things about you Fox. You are well known around the Black Paw, and not just for working with your hounds."
"I don't try to be famous I just do my job at the best of my ability."
Thomas nodded studying her. Ava fiddled with her beer bottle gazing down at the bar. He chuckled then said.
"Something has your tail all in a bunch. You alright?"
"Hmm? Oh yeah, I'm fine. Just tired. Happy to be home that's for sure."
"Home for a bit?"
He asked turning to look at her. Ava nodded and met his eyes.
"Yeah, my dad is coming to visit so I'm here for at least the rest of the week."
"That's good. Maybe while you are here we can get to know each other better."
Thomas gave her a sly smile then said.
"I would love to maybe get lunch one day?"
Ava felt her insides squirm a bit, first time she had been asked out. Usually it was her doing all the work.
"Maybe. Let's see how our week goes."
Thomas nodded with a laugh and smiled.
"Sure, I'll be around for a bit. Waiting for my rifle to get sent back to me. I messed that thing up trying to fix it."
Ava nodded and stood up off her stool.
"I'm heading to my dorm. Nice speaking with you Thomas."
"Likewise."
He raised his beer to her and said.
"Be safe out there."
><
Ava went back to her dorm. Her brain all tied up in knots. Thomas was nicer than she had thought. Figuring he would give her shit about the twins, she was pleasantly surprised when he didn't seem to care. Interesting.
"Alpha?"
Ava snapped back to life and looked over at her couch. The twins sat there staring at her, a worried look on their faces.
"Are you alright?"
She closed the door behind her and gave a heavy sigh.
"No boys, I'm not."
They both quickly leap off the couch and rushed to her side.
"Who hurt you?"
"Do we need to kill someone?"
"You're not sick are you?"
"Is your dad alright?"
"Boys!"
Ava said sternly but kindly. She took both their hands in hers and gazed between the both of them.
"Relax. Take a breath. No one hurt me, I'm not sick, and my dad is fine. I'm just not feeling 100% right now. I'm all messed up in the head."
Jayden let out a soft whimper and moved towards her. His hand squeezing hers.
"Do you want to sit and talk with us?"
"You know we are good listeners."
Kayden added. She moved her eyes over to the couch then back to them.
"Yes but...if you two are alright with it...I'd like to lay with the both of you."
"You don't ever have to ask Alpha."
Kayden said shaking his head.
"You want us to lay with you we will. There is no way either of us would ever say no to that question."
"You care for us...let us care for you."
Jayden said meeting her eyes. Ava nodded and gave them a small smile.
"Yes hounds. Care for your Alpha."
Kayden immediately picked her up in his arms making her let out a surprised yelp. Jayden opened her bedroom door letting Kayden through.
"Jesus...if nothing else you guys are quick to obey orders."
Kayden chuckled as he gently laid her down in bed. Jayden worked her shoes and socks off then she asked.
"Is it too much to ask for tea?"
"Never Alpha. Nothing you ask of us is ever too much."
Kayden answered going out her door.
"Let us care for you Alpha."
Jayden spoke softly now, smiling down at her.
"You told us to relax. Now it is your turn."
"I'm just...confused and twisted up."
"I'm sure with the life we lead that happens more often than not."
He replied sitting beside her on the bed. His hand slid up her neck to her cheek, his thumb caressing her skin.
"We may be wild and violent but we understand that brain wounds are just as deadly as any wound to the flesh."
Ava smiled in his hand, her cheeks burning with color.
"You're so sweet Jay..."
He leaned down and ever so softly pressed a kiss into her forehead.
"Only for you Alpha. You are our Achilles heel. The only thing we have ever feared in all our years together is losing you. There is nothing that scares me...but thinking of you hating us, turning against us, never wanting to see us again..."
Jayden shook his head and sighed.
"That scares the shit out of me."
Kayden returned with a mug in his hand and a few cookies in the other. Ava smiled at him then asked.
"Those for me?"
"Yes Alpha. Your favorite."
"Aw, thank you Kay. You are so sweet sometimes."
"Only for you."
Kayden growled. He stood beside the bed and Ava met his eyes to ask.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Anything Alpha."
"Are you scared to lose me like Jay?"
Ava asked sitting up in bed. Kayden looked at Jayden who spoke to him quickly in their language. Kayden set the mug down on her nightstand then handed over the cookies.
"Listen to me Ava because I will only say this once."
She nearly dropped her cookies out of shock. Neither of them, ever used her real name. Her eyes locked onto Kayden's as he took a deep breath.
"And this goes for Jayden as well. We are...different Lycans. We have the knowledge that we are feral but still remain wild. There is nothing nor anything we won't do or take because we want it. You know us and what we have done. There is nothing we fear in this entire world. I don't fear being shot at, stabbed, bitten. Nothing. Until we met you."
He paused to take in another breath.
"I hadn't known what fear felt like before you. When I felt that emotion for the first time I thought I was going to die. My palms were sweaty, my heart wouldn't stop thumping against my chest, I thought I was going to throw up.
I am Kayden Deacon."
He growled deeply then continued.
"I am and shall remain one of the two most deadly Lycans in our lifetimes. I have killed many, I have done things that would make normal Lycans ashamed, and I will continue to take lives until I am unable physically to. I have no mercy, I will not talk shit out, I slit throats and answer no questions.
Then I am alone with you...Ava..."
He smiled and reached out to touch her face.
"My sexy, proud, and amazingly smart Alpha. And I am this soft, mushy, cuddly Lycan. Spending time making tea for you, knowing which cookies are you favorite, cleaning your house. Me?! Calm? The thought alone is disgusting."
Ava laughed then kissed his hand. Kayden chuckled and said.
"But I adore it. There is nothing I wouldn't do for you. The fear I have of losing you is because if I lost you...I would be losing a piece of myself. Especially after sixty years. I love you Ava from the bottom of my heart."
Ava looked at Jayden who had a beautiful smile on his face.
"He speaks for both of us. If I didn't have someone to lay with like I do with you...I don't even know what I'd do."
"I don't know what to say."
Ava turned her gaze down into her mug. Kayden settled beside his twin and said.
"We don't need words Alpha. We understand."
"Now, speak with us as to why your head is all messed up."
Ava sighed, unable to look away from her tea.
"I think I may want to go on a date...alone."
She felt terrible saying that now that they had bared their hearts to her. But surprisingly Jayden chuckled.
"Alpha, you aren't worried we would be upset are you?"
"A bit..."
"Perish the thought."
Kayden said with a smile.
"We agreed when we started this that neither of our lives would be impeded by us sleeping together. Go on your date, we hope you have a great time."
"Yes and if they have earned a date with you, they must at least somewhat okay."
Jayden added. She looked up at their smiling faces and instantly felt better. Even going so far as to smile. Jayden took her hand in his and said.
"But if he hurts you we both will take turns eating chunks off of him until he dies."
Ava laughed and set her mug down.
"Boys, I would expect nothing less. Thank you for listening. I do feel better. You two are really great and I am just blown away how we mesh so well together. I won't leave you two. Ever. I promise. Your fear is unfounded. There is nothing you two have done or will ever do that could make me leave you."
They both nodded and smiled at her. They looked so happy and just...perfect.
"Ready to lay down?"
"Yes Alpha."
Kayden cleaned up from her snack as Jayden helped her undress. Ava was enjoying the tenderness they both were showing now. Jayden didn't once try and touch her sexually as he helped her dress, more caring for her, easing the tension out of her mind. Kayden fixed up the blanket and tossed Jayden's pillow into his spot. Ava stopped Jayden as he came over with one of her shirts and a pair of sweatpants.
"No, I want your shirt and Kay's shorts."
Jayden yanked his t-shirt over his head and smiled at her.
"Of course."
Kayden took his blue shorts off standing in just his boxers he held them out to Jayden.
"Glad I wore boxers today."
Ava dressed in her boy's clothes and smiled standing up beside the bed.
"How do I look?"
The shorts were way too long. Draping well down past her knees, they were almost pants to her. The shirt was basically a dress, hanging almost as long as the shorts. Ava blushed as they both smiled and clapped with approval.
"Gorgeous Alpha."
"All the rage in Rome I'm sure."
Jayden added with a laugh. Ava did a small twirl then a curtsy.
"Why thank you kind gentlemen."
><
Ava awoke the next morning feeling so much better. Her mind finally able to still lying between her boys, she fell into blissful sleep so quickly. She stretched and smiled her eyes not even open yet. She just felt great and was actually well rested. She looked from Jayden to Kayden beside her and her smile grew. They peacefully slept beside her in their usual positions. Jayden always faced her curled almost into a ball and Kayden laid on his back, hand over his torso. Ava sat up then quickly and quietly climbed over Kayden to get out of bed. She went out into the kitchen and gathered ingredients for her famous bacon omelets and coffee for her helpful boys. What a difference. Dressed in their clothes, she got that familiar feeling of being unstoppable. An Alpha...
Half way through her first batch Jayden stumbled out of her room rubbing his eyes.
"Alpha? Are you okay?"
"Morning thing 2."
She said smiling over at him.
"Guess what I am making?"
He blinked over at her confused.
"Omelets?"
"Bacon ones just for you two."
A sleepy smile crossed his face as he gazed over at her.
"Oh, thank you Alpha. They are my favorites."
"I know boy. Go on a pee then come sit with me."
He nodded.
"Yes Alpha."
As Jayden used the bathroom Kayden appeared. He looked half awake and already was growly. He came over to her and asked the same as his brother.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes boy I am fine."
She said with a laugh.
"Trust me. I'm making your favorite. Extra bacon, bacon omelets."
He smiled and scratched his messy hair.
"Oh. Thanks Alpha. You are too kind to us."
"Maybe just enough. Go on and put some shorts on then you can set the table with your brother."
"You have my shorts Alpha."
He said with a growl. Ava nodded and smiled up at him.
"Other shorts. I'm borrowing these."
"Yes Alpha."
He smiled and went over to his backpack by the door. Ava returned to her cooking hearing Jayden rejoin them.
"My dad is coming for a visit today. You two are as always welcome to stay but I will understand if you don't."
"It's nothing against your family Alpha."
Jayden said coming to her side.
"It's."
"Just the way you are."
She smiled up at him then said.
"It's fine Jay. Don't even worry about it."
He nodded and grabbed some plates above her head.
"Glad you understand."
"I am your Alpha for a reason."
She remarked with a laugh. Kayden grunted in agreement at the table then said.
"Damn right."
"You two can spend a few hours away from me."
Ava teased looking back up at Jayden.
"Means you'll miss me and I like the smiles you two get once you see me after being apart for a while."
Jayden adverted his eyes his smile shy and bashful. Kayden growled loudly from across the kitchen then said.
"We always miss you when you are gone Alpha. We await your return like wolves for their master."
"You two are something else."
Ava said in a sigh.
"You know I love you both right?"
"Of course."
Jayden said with a huge smile.
"You tell us daily."
Kayden added. Ava smiled and turned back to her food.
"I just like to make sure."
><
Around noon the twins said their goodbyes and went to their dorm while Ava prepared for her father. She cleaned a bit and made some coffee. Her father, Jonas, arrived at 12:30 on the dot. Ava looked a bit like her father. Same hazel eyes but Jonas's hair was black instead of the tawny color Ava sported. He stood around 6 feet tall, Ava always wished she had gotten his height instead of the eyes. Taller would have done her better than interesting eyes. Jonas dropped his bag at her door and went to hug her.
"Hello Squid. I have missed you."
"I missed you too dad. And stop with the Squid."
"Don't want your name changed from Fox to Squid?"
He teased pulling away. Ava glared at him but smiled.
"Please no. Come in, I made coffee. Sure you are tired."
"It's alright. Only a flight across the world."
He said with a roll his eyes. Ava shot him a look then handed him a mug.
"Ass."
"How you feeling?"
He asked ignoring her.
"Better. Talked with the twins for a bit."
Ava made coffee and sat with him at the table.
"They are good listeners and I trust in their words. They haven't lead me astray yet."
"I notice they are not around."
Jonas mused gazing over at her.
"Sent the hounds away?"
Ava laughed nodding her head.
"Yes, you know how they are. You've tried to meet them before."
"Was not an experience I would do again. Glad they could help you though. Even if they don't like me I appreciate them watching over you. I wouldn't mess with them."
He said with a laugh.
"But anyways, they helped?"
"Yes, still wanted you here though dad."
Ava met his eyes and smiled.
"You always make me feel better."
"I try."
He patted her hand then sat back in his seat.
"Spill the tea Squid. What's up?"
><
*Twins POV
Kayden unlocked their dorm room door and let his brother in first. They had just said goodbye to Ava and retired to their own room for the rest of the day. As soon as he closed the door Jayden let out a soft whimper. Kayden sighed and went to him.
"She needs her father. We cannot do everything for her."
"We can try..."
Jayden murmured. He flopped down onto their couch and gave a heavy sigh.
"We used to spend so much time away from her. It's odd now when we have to be away."
Kayden did agree with him but knew they could not smother Ava either.
"We can clean our weapons like we used to while away from her. Play some music?"
Jayden looked over at him, his eyes sad.
"Can I pick the music?"
Kayden smiled at him and nodded. Knowing it would make his brother feel better.
"Of course. I'll listen to your crappy dubstep if it makes you happy."
Jayden smiled and stood.
"It's not crappy."
Kayden gathered all his knives and Jayden's rifle and laid them out on their table. Jayden returned with an odd look on his face.
"So what do you think of Alpha's date?"
"I am happy for her."
Kayden replied looking over at his brother.
"She is wonderful and will make some male a very happy mate. Glad she can have somewhat of a normal life even with us hanging around her."
Jayden nodded and sat at the table.
"You think she'll leave once she's mated?"
"I trust her. She won't leave us."
"Everyone leaves..."
Jayden mumbled. Kayden sighed and sat with him.
"I haven't. I am still here with you and I will always be."
"What if you find a mate?"
Jayden asked his eyes sadly meeting Kayden's.
"Jay you know me."
He said shaking his head.
"That's not in my future and I am fine with it. I don't need or want a mate anyways."
"But...what if you do."
"I'm not leaving you Jay. I promise."
Kayden said with a growl.
"Mom always said we are gifted and cursed within our lives. If I have gone one hundred and seventy years by your side why would I change now?"
"You have Ava."
Jayden's voice was serious then and he looked him square in the eyes.
"I know how you feel about her."
Kayden growled grinding his teeth together but didn't reply. Jayden looked away then said.
"The same way I feel about her."
"Enough."
Kayden snapped in a low growl.
"We have a night to ourselves. Let's not spend the whole time crying over it. We can be wild and free tonight. Cause some ruckus or something."
Jayden cracked a small grin then asked.
"Like what?"
"We can go rip up some art over in the museum."
Kayden offered.
"I know you like breaking statues."
"The marble makes a cool sound."
Jayden said off handedly.
"Yeah that be fun. Been a while since it's been just us."
Kayden shook his brother's shoulder and smiled.
"Let's clean then we can head out after dark. Sound fun?"
"Yes, very."
><
*Ava's POV
Later that night Ava sat in the common room at the bar with her dad. Ricky had joined them early on wanting to catch up with his old friend. Ava sat half listening to their stories for a while, drinking. Around 9 she noticed Thomas coming over to them.
"Fancy meeting you here."
Ava smiled and said.
"I'm always here. This is my dad Jonas."
Thomas shook Jonas's hand then said.
"Ricky's told me much about you. Glad to finally meet you."
"Likewise young man. Been in Black Paw long?"
"Only about fifteen years."
Thomas said with a shrug.
"I worked for a private military group before in Russia."
"Join us Thomas."
Ricky said with a smile. He nodded and settled, of course, next to Ava. He smiled at her and teased.
"Good first date. I met your dad."
Ava felt herself blush as she turned away from him.
"Shut up."
Thomas chuckled and ordered a drink. Ava looked back over to him and asked.
"Get your rifle yet?"
"No, another day probably. My gunsmith cursed me out over the phone."
He replied with a laugh. Ava nodded and her eyes wandered around the common room, almost subconsciously looking for her hounds. She knew they wouldn't be out here. They never socialized with anyone who lived in Sanctuary. Thomas cleared his throat and turned to her.
"So I asked you for lunch earlier, and you said maybe. Does that mean if I ask you to dinner you'd say yes?"
Ava looked back over at him watching him smile.
"Obviously breakfast would be a no."
She smiled and looked down at her drink. He was funny.
"Not a lot of places open right now?"
"We are already at a bar."
Thomas said trying to convince her.
"I met your dad for this."
Ava laughed softly but nodded.
"Alright. We can eat dinner together."
She followed him over to a small table after they put their order in with the bar. Thomas settled across from her and sighed smiling.
"So boring questions out of the way. Favorite color?"
"Green. Yours?"
"Blue. We can skip the whole "What do you do for work" talk because we are here."
Ava nodded smiling at him.
"Yes, are your parents alive?"
"Yeah. They are in Russia with my younger sister. Any siblings for you?"
"None, I am an only child."
"Lucky."
Thomas said laughing.
"My sister is the bane of my existence. What about birthday?"
"September 4th."
Ava answered. Thomas gave her a look then said.
"Mine is the 14th! Small world Fox."
Their food came and Ava asked.
"You don't have an issue with the group I am in?"
"I don't care."
Thomas said shrugging.
"They are your group not mine. Why would I care?"
"Ricky does. He's always warning me they will turn on me."
"I mean...you probably wouldn't have joined up with them if you thought one day they would turn on you."
Thomas met her eyes and smiled.
"You don't seem like the type of Lycan who doesn't trust her gut."
"You'd be right."
"Why I'd like to get to know you. Haven't kicked me in the balls yet."
Thomas gave her a sly smile then said.
"You must have some kind of gut feeling for little old me."
Ava blushed again down at her plate and mumbled.
"I'll still kick you."
><
Ava stayed with Thomas until 11pm. He was funny and a nice guy. Not what she had expected. She returned to her room with her father and he instantly started with his questions.
"So you like him?"
"Dad..."
Ava sighed closing the door behind her. Jonas laughed and turned to her.
"What? Just a question."
"It wasn't even a real date."
She crossed the room and put her leftovers away saying.
"Are you taking the couch or staying with Ricky?"
"I'll stay with Ricky tonight. Tomorrow morning he and Tara want to take me out for breakfast."
Jonas laughed then said.
"He's missed me almost as much as you have, and Brenton at the Dot. I haven't seen him since you were under a hundred."
"Alright. We can grab lunch together tomorrow."
"Sound's good Squid."
Jonas came over and kissed her cheek.
"See you tomorrow. Love you."
"Love you too dad."
Ava watched her father leave then turned back to her empty dorm. She paced around for a while but soon felt the ping of loneliness tug at her soul. Even with her time spent with Thomas she felt alone. Knowing she wouldn't be able to sleep tonight, she gathered a few things and decided to go visit her boys in their dorm.
><
Ava had only been to their dorm once before but never inside. She wondered if they would even let her in. As she arrived at their door she knocked and stepped back. The door opened and she was met with Jayden's angry face. He instantly smiled when he noticed it was her.
"Hello Alpha. Thought we wouldn't see you until tomorrow."
She looked up at him and sighed.
"I got lonely again."
Without another word he pulled his door open and welcomed her inside. Ava came in and set her bag down on the floor. Surprised it was that easy for them to allow her into their space.
"Where is thing 1?"
"Showering."
Jayden answered waving towards their bathroom door.
"We just came back actually."
"Oh? Where were you two?"
"Causing some mayhem."
Jayden answered in a laugh.
"Not often we are left to our own vices. Are you hungry Alpha?"
She shook her head and sighed.
"No."
Jayden came over and took her hand in his.
"You seem upset again. Anything we can do to help?"
Ava nodded and squeezed his hand.
"Yes."
"Anything you want we will do."
Jayden promised.
"And I mean anything. Tell me what you need."
She met his eyes and already started to feel relief wash over her.
"I need my boys...together..."
Jayden nodded and smiled at her.
"Of course."
"You two always say to use you at my will."
"Yes we do and we mean it. You go get comfortable in our room and I will hurry my brother along."
He leaned down and kissed her forehead gently. Ava smiled as her cheeks turned red.
"I've never seen your room before."
"Not as flashy as yours but we do have a TV in there."
Jayden pulled her into his arms and said.
"We got used to listening to it while falling asleep with you. Training us well Alpha."
Ava laughed and hugged him tightly.
"Glad you two are easily trained. Alright I'll go and wait for you two."
Jayden kissed her cheek again then went into the bathroom.
Their dorm was set up almost the same as her own but their bedroom was entirely different. Ava pushed their door open and took in her surroundings. Their scent was so strong in there, almost intoxicating. She liked it.
They had taken out a wall it seems piece by piece to make the room bigger. Different skulls hung on the walls. Some of animals she didn't recognize. Lights were a covered making the room seem darker and more cave like. Instead of beds they had a very large pile of blankets and pillows laid about on the floor. Almost the size of a king sized bed. She wondered where they had collected so many blankets from. Shaped much like a nest in a den Ava paused.
They were wild, it would make sense their sleeping area would resemble a den. The mound of blankets and pillows sat across from a smaller TV on a little table.
The door opened behind her and Jayden returned. He smiled and asked.
"What do you think?"
"Are these things you've killed?"
"Yes. We have collected them for almost sixty years."
"This space screams you two."
Ava said with a small smile. This is almost what she expected their room to look like. Kayden came in soon after. He was dressed in only shorts, his hair still wet from his shower. He immediately came over to Ava and wrapped his arms around her. She smiled and pressed into his moist skin.
"Hello boy."
"I have missed you Alpha."
Kayden rumbled in a growl as he hugged her tight.
"Glad you decided to come find us."
"I needed you two."
Ava pulled away and met his eyes.
"I'm sure Jay told you."
"He did."
Kayden smiled at her.
"We are your hands Alpha, use us as you please."
Ava looked down at their "nest" then asked.
"Is this how you two sleep?"
"Yes, reminds us of home."
Jayden answered watching her.
"We like dens."
"I'm sure someone will have something to say about that wall you broke down."
Ava teased smiling over at Jayden. He shrugged and said.
"This is our dorm and will be for a long time."
"Not often people see this place and live to tell tale."
Kayden growled from beside her. She met his eyes and he gave her a wicked smile.
"We don't allow anyone in our room."
"Glad I am on your twos good side."
Ava joked. She was already starting to feel that familiar happiness she always felt around her boys. Her sadness and loneliness just drifting away out of her mind. Jayden tossed a few extra blankets into their pile as Kayden spoke.
"You said that you needed us...together. Are we cuddling or more?"
"More."
Ava turned to watch him gaze at her. She smiled and said.
"I always feel better after we have our fun. You two are great at clearing my mind."
"Helps if we make it go blank a few times."
Jayden growled. Ava flopped down into their pile and sighed.
"Quite a few times. Do you two need anything before-"
Her words stopped as they both fell into bed at her sides. Suddenly wrapping their arms around her pressing her between their bodies. Just like she loved. They kissed her skin and their hands freely roamed her body. Ava's eyes fluttered closed relaxing into their nest. It was more comfortable than she thought it would be. Lulled her into such a peaceful state of mind it almost made her cry. The relief she felt with them was unmatched. Not even drinking held this kind of relaxation.
They both just held and kissed her skin sweetly for what felt like hours. A smile spread across her face as she forced herself to speak.
"I love you two."
Jayden chuckled as Kayden said.
"We love you too Alpha."
He turned her head towards him and captured her mouth in a kiss. Jayden ran his hand down her side to her waist.
"We would do anything you ask of us."
Ava bit Kayden's lip with a smile then turned to Jayden.
"I know you would. I have nothing to do tomorrow until I meet my dad for lunch. So I know when I ask _this_of you the answer will be yes."
She pulled Jayden into a strong kiss feeling Kayden's hand slip under the band of her sweatpants. He was such a horn dog.
"What would you ask of us Alpha?"
"Spend the night with me."
Ava looked between them and smiled.
"And the morning."
"We don't require as much sleep as you, sure you want to try and have a late night with us?"
Kayden growled. She looked over at him and smiled sinfully.
"I'm willing to at least try. You'll both care for me, I have no doubt."
"Correct Alpha."
He replied.
"You are right to trust us."
Jayden turned her back towards him and gently kissed her lips.
"We are yours."
Ava sighed against Jayden then smiled.
"I know...ask me."
Kayden let out a soft growl making her turn to him.
"Can we care for you Alpha? The best way we know how?"
"Yes wolves."
Ava closed her eyes running her hand up Kayden's neck.
"Please."

Ava woke up at 10am the next day. She laid nestled in the twins bed between the both of them. All of them bare of clothing. Ava had allowed them both to get a little rough with her last night. With any partner she had before if things got too rough she would always just up and stop everything. However, with the twins it was different. Egging them on made her feel powerful and in control.
They used and lovingly abused her until well into the morning hours. After they met their endings the twins turned back into the cuddly Lycans she adored. Taking them both together was something she still wasn't quite used to but confident she loved it. They were just so strong and so tall they moved and positioned her easily to rail into her body. It was breath taking.
Their room was still dark besides the TV light Ava blinked her eyes open sitting up. She looked down at Kayden beside her in his normal sleeping position. On his back hand over his stomach. Smiling, Ava ran her hand down his chest and leaned in to kiss his lips. As she pulled away he let out a half awake growl and mumbled.
"Morning Alpha."
She turned to Jayden who laid curled into a ball facing her. Running her hand over his shoulder she kissed him as well. He let out a soft sigh and tried to speak but his voice failed. Ava giggled and kissed him again.
"Morning boys. You don't have to wake. I just felt like kissing you two."
Kayden instantly turned to go back to sleep but Jayden cleared his throat to actually speak.
"I'd rather be awake for your kisses. Blows my mind that it is me you want to kiss."
"I like kissing you Jay. Your morning breath is not terrible at all."
Ava whispered turning into his body. He smiled and laid his arm around her side.
"Thanks."
She smiled and kissed him again. Jayden dragged his hand up her naked side as he returned her kiss sleepily. Ava giggled again and said.
"You are so tired boy. Go back to sleep."
"I'd rather be with you."
He mumbled shaking his head. Ava toyed with his hair at the nape of his neck as she kissed him again. Slightly more awake now his hand squeezed her side pulling her as close as she could get to him. Ava touched his face making his eyes open. She watched his beautiful blue eyes focus on her and then he smiled. Ava's heart beat against her ribcage as he gazed at her. His eyes full of love and trust. It made her so happy.
"Morning Alpha. I am awake."
"You really can't believe that I kiss you? Don't I often?"
"Now yes."
He replied blinking slowly.
"Before no. I wanted to. So badly. I used to bite my lip to keep myself sane while we cuddled. I was happy touching your skin but once you kissed me."
His head shook as he let out a soft sigh.
"I knew there was no going back for me. I was lost."
Ava cupped his chin and kissed him deeply, forcing his tongue to respond to hers. Jayden let out a soft moan his hand running the length of her back. He was happy.
"I love you boy."
Ava whispered pulling away slowly. Jayden smiled his beautiful smile, his eyes sparkling in the dark room.
"I love you too Alpha. I always will. Do you feel better?"
"Oh a thousand times better."
Ava answered nodding.
"I started to feel better once I got into your dorm honestly. Life outside of you two is difficult and confusing."
"I wish we could protect you from that as well."
Jayden said with a sigh.
"We just want you to be happy and live a normal life."
"With you two in it? Jay..."
She smiled at him.
"I will never have a normal life for many reasons but having you two around...I'm so far from normal and I am so fine with that. If a "normal" life meant I'd have to leave you two...well...then I never want a normal life, ever."
Jayden for some reason looked on the edge of tears. He gazed at her his hand laid still on her hip. Ava frowned and touched his face.
"Boy?"
"You have no idea how good it is to hear that from you."
He whispered tears starting to form in his eyes.
"I-I thought...thought for a while that-that you'd leave us one day. Have your normal life...forget about us."
"You mean me."
Ava wiped his eye free of tears as he spoke.
"I was scared I would lose you one day...that I would have to go back to what I was before I met you. Having to watch you walk away for the last time one day terrified me."
Jayden shook his head closing his eyes.
"It would take killing myself not to chase after you."
Ava smiled shaking her head.
"You are going to be listening to my orders for the rest of your life Jayden. I promise."
He finally smiled making a tear roll down his cheek into her hand.
"Yes Alpha. I would love to."
"Do you mean that?"
Ava turned to her back hearing Kayden speak. He laid leaned up on his elbow staring at her. His eyes so serious.
"Forever?"
Ava nodded and touched his face too.
"Yes boy, forever. If I do ever find a mate they will have to just understand that my boys come first, always. If I ever leave Black Paw, which I probably won't for a long time, you two are coming with me, period."
Kayden stayed silent just staring at her. She stroked his cheek with her thumb then said.
"I told you both that your fear of losing me is unfounded. I mean it when I say, I will not leave you two."
Kayden moved quickly and collided in a kiss with her, his arms wrapping around her body. His kiss hungry and needy. Ava smiled against his mouth she couldn't help it, she could feel how happy he was. She pushed away and giggled.
"Stop Kay."
"I need you Alpha."
He said forcefully.
"I have always run wild and never had a care for anything or anyone. Until you Ava and I don't care how fucked up our relationship is, it makes me happy. I want to be happy when I am with you. Do you have any idea how strange of a feeling that is for me? Happiness used to be ripping throats out of living people. Happiness used to be setting things on fire. When I am beside you I am just happy, I don't have to do anything. Happiness with you doesn't come with effort and I crave that. The happiness I have with you I would kill for."
Ava's smile grew and she looked back at Jayden who met her eyes.
"Does that go for you too boy?"
Jayden nodded wiping his eyes free of tears.
"Yes Alpha."
She turned back to Kayden who let out a deep growl.
"You are my Alpha and there is nothing I wouldn't do for you. Forever."
"Yes boys, forever."
Ava promised with a smile. Jayden pressed against her back kissing her shoulder blades.
"Thank you."
Kayden laid beside her tipping her head into a kiss.
"The want is almost too much to bare."
Ava nodded pulling Jayden's hand up to her breast.
"Ask me then hound."
Kayden moaned and kissed her again.
"Let us have you Alpha. We need it."
"Of course boys. I did ask you to be with me in the morning. Good thing you two are good at keeping promises."
"Always Alpha."
