Munie and the Bard 1
Munie is enjoying her new life as the maidservant to Estrasa, but working for the Dark Queen means watching her do her work. When a bard comes in with some bad news, Munie gets a front-row seat to the sadistic queen's transformative whims.

Munie has had little time to settle into her new role as the maid of Estrasa, powerful sorceress and self-proclaimed “Dark Queen". But, even though she got used to her new job, the real strange thing to get used to is her change in gender. The fact that her Dark Queen had a kobold-sized maid's outfit already among her vast hoard of treasure makes the once male wonder how much of her new life the Dark Queen had planned..
“Your first task," her queen had told her, “is to clean up the audience chamber. I need more people coming here to my demesne if they are to have a false sense of security within my domain."
Sure, cleaning the huge dark room is time and energy intensive. There are plenty of cobwebs up in high places where stools wouldn't be of use, so she has to be creative, scurrying up pillars to get to the real hard-to-reach places. Yeah, its, but there are perks. First of all, the Dark Queen always gives her food, and after their initial meeting, Estrasa has often strutted around the place in her, apparently not true, kobold form, delivering for Munie enough eye candy to please her for awhile. All in all, it's a good gig, but there isn't much excitement to be had. That is, until the day, when he arrived.
Munie had almost conquered all of the rafters, but there is still yet a little cluster of webs up over Estrasa's throne. So, she decides she is going to tackle it today. As she got really into her cleaning act, though, the doors burst open and the cloaked form of Estrasa billows in, plopping herself into her seat.
Munie leaps at the sound, but stops what she is doing to peer over the side. Estrasa leans forward, tapping her fingers impatiently as footsteps echo from the halls beyond.
“O-Oh great Dark Queen," comes a voice, a beautiful tenor with only the slightest waver to it. It sounds more like a practiced warble than the quivering of fear, “I come bearing news from the city of Calin."
“You may come in," she growls, shifting in her seat, as if she is looking for the perfect position from which to pounce.
A man, ruddy and handsome, with a well-trimmed mustache and the colorful garb of a bard, enters the room. Immediately, he bows his head and lowers down onto his knees. “My queen," he begins. “Vijaya is a traitor to your cause. I come to deliver this news to you and humbly request the forgiveness of my debts to him, since it is to you his power defers."
From beneath the hood of Estrasa, a long and pronounced yawn fills the chamber, rattling the very foundation to the rafters. This is followed by a stony, and terrible silence.
“M… my queen?" The bard asks.
“I know already," Estrasa says, standing from her seat. She conjures before her a bottle and a glass. With a wave of her arm, the bottle pours out wine into the glass, almost ready for her consumption.
“And I deem your debts still unpaid. But I shall collect on them!" With that, she throws her arm forward, a blast of magic striking the bard, knocking him flat upon his back. The shockwave of the magical eruption rattles the rafters and poor Munie slips off of her perch, squealing as she topples down below, only to knock the glass of wine over onto her mistress's robes, knocking over the glass in the process.
“Ah, my new servant," Estrasa says, seemingly not caring about the stained outfit. She once again shrinks down underneath her coverings. “You're just in time for the main event."
Munie scrambles off from her mistress's grasp. She's been here long enough to know to not presume anything. She bows before her, her own body trembling. “M… my mistress, I'm sorry. I was cleaning a-and your great power was too much for me, and I fell, and-"
“No need to be sorry, my dear," Estrasa says, letting the clothing fall to the floor. Once again, she takes on the beautiful kobold form, and she walks up to Munie, holding out her left hand. “In fact, I need you for a little task. Come, take your mistress's hand."
Munie does as she is told, but feels the dampness in those fingers, the stickiness from the sugary sweet drink already evident on her hand. “Mistress, I didn't mean-"
Estrasa's right hand presses a finger against Munie's mouth, and the sorceress shakes her head. “No, no, just come over here!"
Bare kobold feet click along the stone floor, heading towards the downed bard. The man groans and writhes around, his voice becoming more gravelly and sweat marrs his face. He runs his fingers over his cheeks, growling and shouting in his pain.
Munie grasps her mistress's arm, but Estrasa pushes her aside. The kobold-shaped Queen spreads her fingers in front of Munie as she examines her bard. “He's getting what he deserves, being so presumptuous. Now, I need to get what I deserve… a clean hand. You spilled my drink. You clean it up."
Munie gulps and reaches for the small pouch of cleaning supplies she carries, but Estrasa pushes her hand forward, shoving her fingers into Munie's mouth.
The kobold maid gasps as she tastes the wine-covered fingers. Even spilled on her mistress, the wine is the best thing she has ever tasted. She can't help but groan, grabbing onto her mistress's wrist, and pulling herself closer, her tongue lashing between her fingers as she seeks desperately to lap up every last bit of that treat.
“Look, my pet," the mistress speaks, her voice an amazed hiss. “Do you see how much he struggles against it?"
Munie peers, seeing the man writhe around, his now pointed teeth gritted.
“He's fighting it much more than you did… you really have started to enjoy your new role, haven't you?" she asks, looking to Munie with narrowed eyes.
Munie responds by opening her mouth wide, letting her tongue wiggle between her mistress's fingers. That's what she wanted, right? Doesn't matter, it feels good to tease her!
“Look," Estrasa whispers, and Munie does as she's told, though her tongue finds a pool of that wine collecting in her mistress's upturned palm. She laps it up, like an animal parched from exhaustion, but she is also a beast transfixed on the wonders before her.
The bard groans as he wraps his arms around him. Along his neck and chin, bright blue scales emerge. Through his gloves, claws poke through, sharp and rather rugged. He grits his teeth, tilting his head back and straining, as if he were a fish caught in a line. But a moment later, his snout pushes forward, flesh disappearing as the scales take its place.
His nostrils flare, and his eyes glow yellow as he stares over at the two kobold women standing before him. His hat falls over his head, blinding him, and he growls, clawing at the garment, tearing it to shreds in primal fury.
Munie stops. Her heart races as she watches the display, her hand moving down along her body without her even noticing, clutching at her skirt, causing her to shudder as she sees this transformation.
He falls to his knees, his sleeves covering up his hands, the tatters of his hat and locks of hair falling uselessly to the floor. His tail tents his much-too-large pants, before springing free, becoming the longest, thickest tail Munie had ever seen on a kobold. She gulps, brushing her fingers over her own. Hers had never been that long, but she remembers the old adage about kobolds and their tails, and she gasps, involuntarily.
