History

Founded in the year 2132, Inteli-Pet Corporation were the first, and only, mega-corporation to produce what was believed to be a theoretical only, project.

An animal, with human-like intelligence, sentience and capable of language.

In 2147, the first Inteli-Pet Corporation (IPC), was revealed to the world.

It was a small red fox vixen, of Vulpus Vulpus template.

Sitting on a table, facing the cameras and looking identical to an actual feral red fox, it shocked everyone when a scientist from the IPC spoke to her, and clearly and succinctly, she turned, looked at him and spoke perfect english.

People believed it to be a hoax, some sort of trick, but it was no trick, nor sleight of hand – the scientists at the IPC had achieved the previously believed impossible. Within months, IPC animals were purchased by the mega-rich, as the costs to produce even one of them was almost deemed cost prohibitive.

Quickly, within twenty years, in 2167, they had improved in leaps and bounds with their patented technology and the price whilst costly, was more affordable.

Marketing proudly advertised them as a substitute for human and anthro alike, beloved Companions. These IPC products were thoughtful, intelligent, fully sentient – and with their lifespans on average, of double or triple the normal animals lifetime, they become widely popular.

From the moment they bonded to their owners, these products would obey, serve and carry out their owners every wish and desire, to the absolute best of their ability.

Each one was imprinted in the laboratory, with deep compulsions, forcing them to obey, to be subservient and never to show any form of negative traits or thought. In their minds, their owners word was law, nothing would or could change their minds.

Sociology

Whilst humans and anthromorph's have peacefully co-existed for centuries, there are still a small group, somewhat disruptive at times, who view the Inteli-Pet Corporation 'Companions' as "Godless abominations, Science gone too far" and other disparaging and degrading comments. These groups are usually religious based and are considered annoyances, but no real threat.

Others praise the IPC and their 'Companions' not only for their sentience, willingness obey, but because of the multitude of species available and their innate eagerness to please. They find themselves in a wide variety of places and settings, from giving comfort to the dying in hospitals, through to elderly and other useful positions.

An IPC 'Companion' once bonded to his/her owner, will be their loyal, faithful and obedient 'Companion' for their entire lives. They exist to serve and provide pleasure for their owners or guests, if said owner demands it of them.

No IPC 'Companion' can, through action or refusal, obey any 'reasonable' order given to it, by its registered owner. If, for example, ordered to kill another sentient creature, said IPC 'Companion' will outright refuse, this is one of their core fundamental rules that can not be overruled by the IPC or said 'Companions' owner.

Sexuality

All IPC 'Companions' are legally believed to be sterile, both incapable of procreation or conceiving offspring. Their natural instincts are deeply suppressed. Whilst they can be affected by feral pheromones and such, their conditioning prohibits their ability to act upon such 'instinctive' urges.

IPC Director's Note: Some IPC 'Companions' have indeed, borne or caused to be born, offspring. Such offspring are of significant concern to all IPC staff and any reports of such, no matter how trivial they may be, are to be sent to the me directly.

Some, are given a secretive 'deep conditioning' which is under-laid on the primary conditioning all IPC Companions receive. This enables said 'Companion' to engage in acts that are of a sexual nature. They are implanted with a myriad of techniques and knowledge of sexual methodology, designed to please their respective owner/s. First and foremost are their paramount override that dictates they please however said owner wishes, to their best ability to obey this directive.

Further – any IPC 'Companion' given the "Deep Conditioning" should such be discovered by anyone other than the owner of said 'Companion', such crimes are to be immediately reported. Failure to do such, can result in significant jail time for the person/s who failed to report such immoral activity.

Laws against such 'immoral acts' committed with such a 'Companion' result in the confiscation and immediate termination of said 'Companion' and imprisonment of up to life imprisonment of 'Companions' owner.

IPC Legal Note: IPC vehemently deny any/all knowledge of any such 'Deep Conditioning' of their 'Companions'. Legal action shall be pursued against any/all parties who attempt to slander or libel the company with scandalous accusations.

Care of Inteli-Pet Corporation 'Companion'

Each one, on creation within the confines of the IPC, are implanted with a microchip that identifies its species, its owner and other relevant information that is programmed before said 'Companion' is sent to its owners habitation.

Any/all IPC 'Companions' are only to be treated by specially trained IPC Veterinarians. Outside interference will not be tolerated, and full effect of the laws shall be brought down upon any/all who disregard this warning, as stipulated in the contract signed by the owner of said 'Companion'.

IPC 'Companions' have no legal, moral or religious rights. Their owner once having purchased said Companion, may do with them as their own morality dictates.

Under no circumstances is an IPC 'Companion' to be released into the wild and commanded to be free. Such owners who attempt such risk heavy fines, jail sentences and confiscation / destruction of said 'Companion'.
