"I had my packages stolen so I wanted to have the apartment superintendent to check it for me in case someone steals it again" Gabu said to Unnerve.

Unnerve would rub his head, getting even more stressed from his excuses.

"You shouldn't be doing this here in the first place" Unnerve scolded him.

"Come on... Can't you let it slide this time at least?" Gabu begged him.

Unnerve sighed and thought about it for a moment before nodding.

"Alright but just this once, but only because I trust you enough as my partner" Unnerve told him.

As the long hand came closer to the next hour, Gabu waited... Each tick feeling like a heartbeat for him as it drew closer with only 1 minute left.

"Come on..." Gabu muttered as he stared closely.

The watch then struck and the raid began, with Gabu hoping that everything would go smoothly without any casualties.

The alarms of the monitors blared as Unnerve got startled, while Gabu pretended to be as well.

Unnerve ran up to the monitors to see what was going on exactly, not knowing why the alarms would suddenly flare up... Was it a false alarm by one of the officers? Had someone tripped the alarms while sleeping on the job?

The officers he saw on the monitors were panicking too, not too sure what was going on in their end of the feed.

Gabu stared at the monitor and turned to Unnerve.

"I will check downstairs to see what's going on, I'll report back with what I know as fast as I can" Gabu told Unnerve.

"Go, and be quick" Unnerve told him, and with that, Gabu left the room to check on the progress of the raid.

Unnerve waited, waited for any sign that this would probably be another false alarm that one of the recruits had foiled by being reckless once more, to think that this would be a full scale raid would be... Ridiculous.

Gabu came back shortly and reported what was happening.

"You're back! What's happening down there Gabu?" Unnerve asked him.

"... It's something so unexpected. A whole gang of criminals are causing violent vandalism and destruction of property all over the city. And I mean all over, not only are there many of them but they're all spread out. Many 911 calls have been placed and the other stations are requesting backup as well, at this rate, the city will be overwhelmed if we don't do something. Everyone in the offices are occupied at the moment taking the phone calls, while sending some officers to go and quell the criminals. But if we send more, it could be bad" Gabu informed Unnerve of the events.

Unnerve slammed his fists on his table, clearly angered by these simultaneous crimes being committed at the same time of which they can't handle all of them.

"I also heard that it might have been one of the crime lords, Moxie, but we're still unsure about these reports from the other stations. They said they saw a Mightyena that resembled him but we're not too sure if this is the same one as Moxie. All we can do is provide support" Gabu told him of further information.

Unnerve roared in the air in anger, screaming bloody murder and letting out his rage which terrified Gabu.

"Send them, send all the officers you can and wipe that criminal to the ground and drag him here!!! I don't want any of them coming back here without that mutt and make him pay for all the humiliation we've endured!!! And when we get him... I want him to be interrogated, even if it means torturing him until we find where the fucking Illusionist is!!!" Unnerve screamed at Gabu.

Gabu feigned a shocked expression.

"Are you sure it's a wise idea to send a majority of all our forces to search for Moxie? It might leave us defenseless!" Gabu said with fake concern for the station.

"It doesn't matter, he's the only lead to the illusionist or so help me I'll go there myself personally if you or the other officers get in my way!" Unnerve screamed again, clearly irritated by Gabu's questions on his leadership.

Gabu sighed and nodded, leaving the room to go downstairs, and went to the officers who were taking the 911 calls.

Everyone was acting frantic and as soon as they would put the phones down, another call would immediately take it's place.

The officers immediately took notice of him, turning to him for any sort of direction to deal with this situation as they were overwhelmed.

"Everyone... Send as many officers as you can and capture the crime lord Moxie. Capturing criminals is your duty, but Moxie will be your main priority" Gabu announced to them, which shocked the officers.

"B-But we can't just do that... We're not too organized at the moment!" One of the officers responded.

"This is a big opportunity for you all... Anybody who manages to capture the crime lord will get a raise. This is the biggest lead we have to finding the Illusionist, are you going to take responsibility if he slips away from the scene?" Gabu asked to motivate them.

The officers looked at each other, before nodding as they respected Gabu's authority, as a large portion of them left, while a fourth of the remaining officers stayed to take the 911 calls.

Gabu went back up to Unnerve and his office, and looked at him, he looked like he was losing his act and was grinding his teeth together.

"Are you alright Unnerve?" Gabu asked him.

"I will be once that mutt is captured and the Illusionist's hideout is finally exposed!" Unnerve seethed.

"... It will be hard making a crime lord talk, especially when the Illusionist is the one who broke him out of his imprisonment in the first place" Gabu told Unnerve, hoping he'd see some sense in what he's doing.

"I have my own ways of doing that! And my interrogation tactics are none of your concern so don't ask things you probably don't know anything about" Unnerve scolded Gabu, too lost in his revenge fantasy.

Gabu cringed knowing with Unnerve's anger, he'd go to the extreme if Moxie really did get captured, and hoped that the raid would be successful. He was glad he joined Nocturne's side before any of this happened, and thought at how Unnerve was practically going insane at this point just to capture him.

An explosion then rocked the building, as they fell off their balance and fell on the floor from the shock of the impact.

Unnerve and Gabu immediately got back up, wondering what had exactly happened.

Unnerve looked at one of the monitors and saw that one of the prison cell's walls had been blown up while a huge puff of smoke was blocking the camera's vision.

A silhouette appeared resembling that of a typhlosion entering the hole.

Unnerve slammed his fists on the table once more, surprised by the sudden attack on the station.

"What the FUCK is going on!?" Unnerve yelled loudly.

"It's him! It's another fucking crime lord ruining everything! The 911 calls were a distraction!" Unnerve yelled even angrier.

Unnerve was so angry that Gabu thought he'd pop an eye vessel right there.

"Yes it is, and they must be here trying to get payback for what we did years before. With most of the officers in pursuit of Moxie, there are now less of us to defend the sation" Gabu said, pretending to feel afraid.

"No matter... Tell the rest of the officers to defend the station now! A few mangy untrained thugs are easily dealt with no matter how outnumbered they are compared to trained officers" Unnerve ordered Gabu.

"Would that be wise? That would compromise the front entrance if we send everyone else to defend the prison cells?" Gabu asked him.

"Nobody would be stupid enough to storm the place from the front entrance, if anything, that would be suicide. Now go! Before they make it further into the station!" Unnerve ordered Gabu again, much louder and quicker than before.

Gabu nodded reluctantly.

"Alright, but please be careful about your decisions Unnerve, it might lead to more consequences" Gabu said cautiously and left for the office.

Gabu opened the door to see a bunch of officers overwhelmed, stressed, and panicking.

"We're under attack, they stormed the prison cells, we need to defend against the crime lord and his gang before they overwhelm us. Don't let them back us up into a corner and turn the situation around, now move it!" Gabu ordered all of them.

They gulped and did so, passing by sergeant Fry in the lobby and started fighting the gang.

Gabu returned with Unnerve watching the fight unfold, clenching his fists angrily as the thugs had a decent fight with the officers.

"Unnerve... We don't have anymore reinforcements, but there's one more person we can call on for help" Gabu suggested to him.

"Which is?" Unnerve asked him.

"SnipeS, he's the only one we got now and we need him more than ever, we're low on manpower and who knows how many more will see this attack and take advantage of our situation?" Gabu asked him.

Unnerve punched the wall angrily, he didn't like asking SnipeS for help, but knew he had no choice now as he screamed against the wall before leaning against it in defeat.

"Fine, I hate relying on him... But make the call, tell him to help us if he wants to earn my trust once more" Unnerve said as he didn't even look at Gabu.

Gabu chuckles darkly as he knows where SnipeS has aligned himself with but kept quiet about it as he dialed SnipeS' number

Unnerve noticed the creepy chuckle from Gabu but shrugged it off, thinking Gabu was just coping this way from the attack and looked closely at the fight in the monitor.

Unnerve sat on his desk and put both hands on his head, wondering what was going on that two of the crime lords, after having been gone for a while, suddenly appeared and started attacking them.

Unnerve looked at Gabu, who stared back at him with a bit of concern as he reached SnipeS end of the call.

"SnipeS, we need you to help us, the station is under attack" Gabu told SnipeS..

"I copy, I'll be there soon. Why don't you make our dear chief comfortable before Nocturne gets here" SnipeS responded to Gabu.

"Sure... Just don't be rough on him" Gabu said to SnipeS.

"What was that?" Unnerve asked him.

Gabu was surprised when Unnerve heard his voice, before trying to make an excuse for what he said.

"Nothing, just telling him not to be too reckless in his attacks" Gabu said and hung up on SnipeS.

Unnerve then began chuckling as he looked back at the cameras.

"This isn't a bad thing... This is a blessing in disguise! I will recapture two of the crime lords... And finally end that Zoroark when I interrogate them... If I had known they would come to me instead, I wouldn't have bothered searching" Unnerve chuckled, his tired, neglected eyes looking at the monitors so closely like a child watching too close to the television.

Unnerve began laughing maniacally, which started to creep Gabu out, and if it weren't for him being the chief and being his trusted partner, he'd have assumed that this was an insane person.

While Unnerve's insane megalomaniac laughing occurred, he heard the front door swing open, and the sounds of something being thrown down into the ground.

He saw something being thrown inside, and realized it was flashbangs and smoke grenades being used on the officers who were guarding the entrance.

A silhouette of a krookodile could be seen, and judging by that silhouette, it was another crime lord, here to attack the station, it had to be another one.

Rage filled Unnerve as he saw the silhouette of another crime lord, it had to be, it was one of a krookodile, and it filled him with more rage that another had decided to gang up on him.

"I'LL KILL ALL OF YOU IF I HAVE TO!!!" Unnerve yelled, blasting dragon breath all over the room in a fit of rage, while Gabu backed away from his partner who was practically going berserk by the sight of another crime lord entering his station and making things more difficult for himself..

As most of the smoke disappeared, he briefly saw the silhouette of a sceptile and cinderace before completely being cut off as the camera in the lobby suddenly became static.

"NOOOOOOOO!!! What the FUCK happened!?" Unnerve yelled at the monitors, he wanted to flip his table but contained his rage.

"It might have been an EMP attack, I don't expect the elevator or the cameras near the lobby to work anymore at any point" Gabu surmised.

"Might? OF COURSE THEY DID! THEY WANT TO MAKE ME INTO A LAUGHING STOCK JUST LIKE ALL THOSE YEARS AGO!!!" Unnerve yelled at Gabu this time, who cringed as he accepted the shouts he received.

"Calm down Unnerve, your officers can handle this. If you really think your station is one of the best then surely the officers will be able to handle it, don't you have any belief in their abilities?" Gabu asked him.

"... You're right, they're just a bunch of unarmed, untrained rabble, there's no way they can lose to trained and skilled officers here!" Unnerve calmed down as he continued watching the other monitors.

In the lobby...

Most of the gangs and officers were battling in the prison cells, and the lobby was empty, save for Sergeant Fry, who was there to keep any more intruders from gaining entry into the police station.

Sergeant Fry sat at his desk, glad that he was out of the infighting while he stayed here to guard the fort as he always said, although that was more of an excuse to stay behind and remain safe from the fighting.

He felt alone in the entrance but still felt like he was doing his duty at least, he had to make sure the entrance wasn't vulnerable from anymore attacks, or else they would be in even bigger trouble.

He wasn't paying too much attention as someone opened the lobby doors and tossed a bunch of grenades including an EMP into the room.

"...! What is that-" Sergeant Fry managed to say before he was blinded by the flashbangs, as well as the smoke a moment later as the cameras were fried, rendering them useless for Unnerve to spy on the lobby.

The smoke covered his vision as he tried to look for anybody he could recognize as an officer or intruder, but as he did, he felt something poking his back and a pair of hands wrapped around his neck.

Kain, who wore a special mask that modified his voice, held a knife which was poking on Sergeant Fry's back. He didn't intend to harm him but he did want to teach him a lesson.

"W-Who the hell are you!?" Fry asked him, scared for his life as well.

Kain didn't say anything and started to grope him, rubbing his muscles and molesting him.

Fry didn't like it as he didn't even know this person, plus being under the threat of a knife was a major turn off for himself.

Kain then slowly roamed his hands slowly towards his bulge... And squeezed hard enough for him to be painful as he wrapped his palm around what he could only assume was Fry's balls.

"Agh! S-Stop! It hurts...!" Fry begged him to stop.

"That's payback for molesting my partner!" Kain said with evil intent as he squeezed harder.

"Uwagh! B-But it's my job to pat down other people for any suspicious and illegal substances... P-Please I didn't mean t-to... Whoever you a-are!" Fry yelled as he gritted his teeth in pain.

"Your methods were too touchy, and I don't appreciate seeing you molesting my partner" Kain said angrily.

Fry felt nervous, he never touched anybody inappropriately when there was somebody to witness the act... Did someone snitch on him? Was it one of the pokemorphs he had patted down in the past?

"I-I'm sorry... I-I-I won't do it agaiiiiinnnn!!! O-O-Owww!!! I-I p-p-p-p-promise!!!" Fry apologized again and again, even promising to stop doing it if Kain stopped.

Kain then pushed him onto the floor, who was too much pain to catch himself as he held his balls to recover from the pain.

"Pathetic... You're not worth my time at all... I'd spend more time with you but I have to be there for my partner... Thankfully, my colleague is more than willing to have fun with you" Kain said as he looked down at Fry, who wriggled away from him.

Fry would then notice someone step up to him, looming over him as he was shocked by what he saw.

Waru, the krookodile crime lord stood over him naked, with a hard, twitching, precumming cock ready to fuck him right there.

Fry would then start crawling away, trying to get to the prison area to have any officers help him but as he did. Waru easily caught his leg and started dragging him further into the more secluded areas of the smoke filled room, where nobody could see them and interfere.

Waru found the storage closet and decided this is where he'd be fucking Fry all night, that is if Fry didn't break.

"I'm looking forward to having fun with a fellow ground type like you~" Waru said to him, before the sounds of clothes could be heard, and then the banging of the door as Fry tried to escape, which slowly weakened... Screams of help were heard before it was replaced with moans.

Ace and Vern caught up with Kain.

"Were you satisfied with your revenge?" Vern asked Kain.

"... For now, but right now we need to concentrate on the raid" Kain said.

Ace and Vern nodded with him as they headed up the stairs and avoided any cameras they encountered.

As the camera's feed in the lobby was lost, Unnerve lost his temper and punched the lobby's monitor, enraged by the event, while Gabu backed away, frightened by Unnerve's outburst..

"I'll personally head down there and deal with them myself!" Unnerve yelled as he began to walk toward the door.

Gabu, knowing that somebody may get killed by Unnerve's unstable state of mind, blocked his way.

"No, you can't do that" Gabu tried to say.

"You better get out of my way, or are you starting to feel sympathy for them when we're in the middle of getting attacked! Are you thinking of siding with them? Is that it!?" Unnerve accused him.

Gabu couldn't believe that Unnerve would accuse him of any betrayal (as true as it was), but he knew he had to cover for Nocturne, and especially Vern.

"Don't leave this office, they want to rile you up and get the jump on you. If we stay here, we can monitor their movement and take them by surprise if they try to get here" Gabu said convincingly.

Unnerve didn't' like the idea, he wanted to personally teach them all a lesson, after all these years he couldn't even touch them yet because his partner said so.

He sighed, knowing he had a point, and looked at the cameras again, ignoring one of the now broken monitors.

Gabu smirked, his attempt to calm him down worked and stood next to Unnerve, watching the cameras intently as he watched the events unfold before both of them.

As they watched, they saw a figure emerge and stand in front of the armory... It was a noivern. But more specifically, it was Vern, the last and final crime lord that was locked up years ago.

"That's it! That's their fucking goal! They're here to get to our armory and steal our weapons! Typical... They can't make their own so they have to steal them from us!" Unnerve practically foamed.

Gabu pretended to be shocked about it, putting both talons on his mouth and feigned shock from what was happening in the monitors.

"No... It couldn't be him..." Gabu said as he pretended to be surprised by Vern's presence.

Vern looked at the camera that was aimed at him, and smiles at it tauntingly.

Gabu pretended to be stunned again, and 'stumbled' against his desk with a distraught face.

"This... This can't be happening right now..." Gabu said with shaking arms.

Unnerve looked at him, and any doubt that was in his mind disappeared at how his partner reacted, slowly being persuaded that he was truly on his side now.

Unnerve tried to stand up but was interrupted by Gabu again by having him put his fin down on his shoulder to push him back down on his chair.

Unnerve looked at Gabu, enraged at how time and time again, all this time, he still kept him from confronting the very criminals who ruined his reputation.

"I will take care of him personally, he's my responsibility, and I won't fail this time" Gabu reassured him.

Unnerve was surprised, he was more or less expecting him to beg to spare his former friend, or ask him to stay again. He never saw a side of him to be so determined to fight, normally, Gabu took the most diplomatic solutions but also was one to try to avoid direct combat...

"Are you sure you can handle it then? Even with your history with him?" Unnerve asked him.

Gabu looks 'sternly' at Unnerve, trying to give him a serious glance, at least he tried that was on par with Unnerve's.

"It's my duty as an officer of the law, former friend or not, I'll personally lock him back up" Gabu told Unnerve.

Unnerve then smiles at that answer and pats Gabu on the back and whispers something to him.

"Show them no mercy, I'll be watching you, make them feel sorry for ever humiliating all of us years ago" Unnerve said encouragingly.

Gabu smiled and nodded to him.

"Just watch me in the cameras, I'll show you just how trustworthy I am as your partner and right hand pokemorph. I'll subdue him in a few minutes" Gabu said before leaving the room, planning to meet with Vern in the hall in front of the armory.

Unnerve then went back to the desk, and pressed a button on the keyboard, making all of the screens link to the feed of the camera that was watching the halls.

The cameras didn't exactly have any audio detection or microphones built into them, but based on their body language and mouth movements, they seemed to be having some verbal exchanges.

As Unnerve watched the feed, he saw Gabu place one of his talons on the side of his hip, or more specifically, the handcuffs he had on his belt. He also saw that Gabu was readying a dragon pulse, purple flames radiating in his mouth to subdue Vern in case he tried to resist arrest.

Vern smirked, and brought his claw outstretched towards Gabu, taunting the land shark to charge him it seemed.

Gabu then launched his dragon pulse at Vern, who dodged the attack by moving aside, the armory doors being left unscratched thanks to their durability.

But the attack was more of a diversion as Gabu intended it to be a distraction as he swiped Vern with his dragon claw, who shielded his body with his arms and blocked the attack, although not without leaving a bit of damage on his arms and wings, causing a bit of blood to trickle from his wounds as the claws pierced his scales.

"Heh... I knew this was a wise choice sending Gabu to deal with that vermin, he's not showing any mercy to them... At this rate, they'll all be locked up and mine for the taking" Unnerve chuckled with ill intent for the criminals, thinking of ways to torture them for information in the future.

The two exchanged blows as they fought from Unnerve's perspective, seeing sparks fly as their claws made contact with each swing, showing the ferocity that the two dragon types possessed.

Gabu was charging another dragon pulse when Vern attacked him, causing him to roar in pain and release the dragon pulse, destroying the camera monitoring them.

"What the!?" Unnerve yelled in rage,hitting the monitors as the fight was getting good for him, wanting to see how it would have ended.

Unnerve immediately tried to call Gabu by contacting him on his radio.

"Gabu! Gabu! What the hell happened!? Answer me!" Unnerve yelled into the radio, worried that Gabu might have lost.

He didn't receive a response, and Unnerve feared the worst, and grabbed the office's doorknob to help Gabu.

Except he wasn't able to as someone else opened it.

A cinderace opened the door... And waltzed in right past Unnerve in the middle of the room, as if he owned the place.

"It's a pleasure to see you again, Chief Unnerve" Ace said, smirking at him as he crossed his arms, standing by the table where SnipeS, Gabu, and him sat a few days ago.

Unnerve then recognized him, he was the cinderace from before when they came to SnipeS' apartment.

"You... What are you doing here!?" Unnerve asked, with a mixture of confusion and clouding his mind while pointing at him.

...

Now that they noticed that the camera was destroyed, Gabu rushed over to Vern and hugged him suddenly, and then giving him a passionate kiss.

"I'm so sorry... I didn't want to hurt you but I had to convince him I was on his side" Gabu said, crying a bit as he held Vern tenderly, he didn't enjoy the fight, even though it was fake.

"Gabu I understand, stop crying... I know you were just putting on a show for Unnerve, and I can't blame you for that" Vern said as he wiped a tear off of Gabu's face.

Gabu looked at the wound on Vern's face, knowing he had swiped him with his claws earlier to make the fight feel real earlier.

Gabu took out the first aid kit on his hip and started patching up Vern's wounds, and after a few seconds, Vern had some gauze on his cheek before being kissed by Gabu.

"Sorry, but I had to really make it look real earlier so I had to apply some force to my attacks" Gabu apologized to him.

Vern chuckled.

"You can make it up to me later tonight in the bedroom" Vern joked.

Gabu smiled at his optimism.

"If everything goes according to plan, then I will live the rest of my life with you in my apartment, that is a promise" Gabu gave a grin to him.

"I'd love that very much, I miss being able to share a bed, and even more, our bodies together" Vern replied, before they both embraced each other and started making out in the hall.

SnipeS and Kain went up the stairs and saw Vern and Gabu as they met up.

The two looked at the dragons and smiled at each other.

"They look so happy together..." SnipeS commented.

Soon, we'll be able to live our lives with our true love, the way we want to from now on without any prejudice" Gabu acknowledged.

SnipeS then faked a cough as he tried to get both of their attention to him.

"We still need to stick to the plan and head to the office, there's no guarantee we succeeded just yet" SnipeS reminded both of them.

Gabu felt disheartened, sad that he had to leave Vern, but knew that not following the plan would spell trouble for all of them.

"I'm sorry I have to leave you for now Vern" Gabu apologized to him.

"It's alright, this is only a flesh wound, you don't have to worry about me Gabu, I can defend myself. When I receive the signal, I'll join you all in the office when Nocturne gives me the signal. But for now, I'll just rest here and stay hidden from anybody" Vern assured them.

...

Unnerve stands at his desk and placed his hands on the table, staring angrily at Ace as he waited for his response.

"SnipeS told me you wanted some backup, and being a police officer, I decided to help you out, after all, I never came here to personally tell you what I knew about the Illusionist" Ace stated.

Unnerve scoffs at this, knowing that the cinderace had come here in the first place seeking refuge and protection from them.

"This is the worst place to be in right now, and I'm being raided by a bunch of criminals and thugs, some self-centered crime lords, and possibly even the Illusionist. This is fucking pathetic!" Unnerve yelled, before remembering he was in the presence of a guest before trying to calm his nerves.

At the mention of the Illusionist, Ace pretended to be 'scared'.

"I had no idea what was going on in the first place, but SnipeS told me that you needed help... Oh god... What if he's here!? I... I feel so unsafe now!" Ace pretended to panic and hyperventilate.

Unnerve shook his head at the sight of a panicking police officer.

"I have no time to protect a cowardly foreign police officer and my own station at the same time..." Unnerve muttered, annoyed that his 'backup' was scared of what he was supposed to be protecting the station from in the first place.

But then Unnerve began chuckling, thinking about what would happen if the Illusionist was captured.

"Soon, when I capture the Illusionist, not only will I be more respected, but all criminals will fear me enough to make my job easier. I will gain the full respect of the whole city, it's citizens, and especially my team..." Unnerve said as he began daydreaming.

Ace then squinted his eyes as he looked at Unnerve.

"But are you perfectly confident you can take down the Illusionist? All by yourself?" Ace interrogated him.

Unnerve clenched his fist and shook it in front of Ace.

"Of fucking course I am! With all the training and conditioning I put myself through, I am confident I can easily take him down! I disregarded all my compassion and kindness, and you know what? I was a fool to even have considered giving it to criminals! My hatred has fueled me to become stronger than I was ever before! Nobody can ever tell me what to do just because they were forced to commit a crime, not even that zoroark who took away my promotion from the start! My life has been hell from that day forward!" Unnerve confessed to Ace, although it felt more like he was ranting to him.

Unnerve was about to tell him more when Ace leaned forward with his elbows on the table and held Unnerve's claws together.

Unnerve tilted his head in confusion and slowly calmed down, wondering why Ace was doing something like this with him considering they were unfamiliar with each other.

"What's wrong?" Unnerve asked him.

"Did the officer I know back then no longer exists? You're just a shadow of your former self now it seems..." Ace said as he delicately touched and felt the claws in his hands.

Why would Ace suddenly talk like this? They only met a few days ago... Unless...

Unnerve slowly stood up from the table and backed away, finally knowing who the cinderace's identity truly was and pointed at him.

"No... No you wouldn't dare! You wouldn't dare show yourself here! Not after all these years of hiding from me!" Unnerve yelled with rage, his blood felt like it was boiling just from Ace... Or should he say the Illusionist's presence alone.
