PV: Eevee
#2 of Pokemon Voreventure
You are now an eevee and it starts to seem like it isn't a dream but your new reality. With your hunger quickly reminding you of just how real it was as you set out to find food.
Last week's poll winner was a male eevee. You will see the others or their evolution line at least over time, with some sooner than others.
Combined poll results for the top four
Eevee 55.36%
Charmander 49.79%
Zorua 43.79%
Growlithe 33.30%
Male had about 160ish% combined so pretty overwhelmingly one sided.
There are no correct answers to any poll but that goes double for combat polls. I will give clues about your chances generally so you can get an idea of what your odds are. Spoiler if you haven't read this chapter yet but for example the rattata if it was put to a poll you would have had the advantage in the fight due to size difference and their recklessness. Flee would have been an average roll and if it failed it would have resulted in a fight roll. Persuade would have basically required a nat 20 for story reasons. Submit well you'd submit and have ended up as a meal for a small rat.

An eevee's face was staring back at you rather than your own. Even after splashing your face with water you still saw the pokemon's face mimicking your movements. Taking a deep breath, you inspected your body a bit more and it was no wonder you had a hard time walking since you were a quadruped now. When you took your first steps on all fours rather than two, it still felt weird to move around.
Alright so if this isn't a dream that means you were now an eevee. Next you looked between your legs, curious to see if that had changed at all and you were in fact male. It did feel weird to not wear any clothes especially as the wind blew over your bare backside. Hopefully you'll get used to not having any clothes on soon, the thick and fluffy coat of fur would help at least.
You had no idea how to fight so it would likely be best to avoid running into any aggressive pokemon until you at least had walking figured out. The forest remained relatively quiet and with any hopes it would remain that way. Or if anything big was nearby it would make itself known to give you enough time to avoid it.
Your stomach growled and hunger quickly set in. It was hard to tell how long it had been since you ate anything or how long you were even out for. Either way you were going to have to find something soon or a fight will be even harder. What would you even eat though? You knew in the games at least some pokedex entries mentioned pokemon eating each other but you'd likely lose in that scenario.
Berries were definitely an option and oran berries in particular should be plentiful. Likely be good to have some on hand to eat in battle if you got injured. Then you remembered you don't have pockets to carry them around. You did however have all this floof around your neck that you might be able to hide berries in.
Your stomach only got louder the longer you walked around and you started to feel like you'd collapse from starvation. "Stupid berries, show yourself." You'd groan out, slightly annoyed at how hard it was to find food. Only then did you really start to appreciate a grocery store of all things for how simple it made getting food. Part of you wasn't even sure if you could eat a pokemon if the opportunity presented itself. You had enjoyed collecting them before and cherished your teams that you built up to the champion fights.
Luckily you wouldn't have to think about it for too long as a berry bush came into your line of sight and was full of oran berries. You could feel drool dripping out of your muzzle from how hungry you were. Not even caring what they may taste like as you ran to the bush and took your first bite. Unexpectedly the berry was a lot harder than you initially thought it would be, taking a bit of effort to chew through it. The flavor was basically nonexistent and lacked any sweetness but it hardly mattered with how hungry you were. Chomping down over the berry until you were able to swallow it down with ease.
A single berry would hardly be enough to fill you and your eyes immediately darted to the nearest one. Plucking it off of the bush with your teeth, getting several of them in your jaws before chewing over them. You already felt revitalized from the few berries you had but needed more. At the very least you weren't starving anymore and thought about looking around a bit more for something softer and sweeter.
Before you could decide what to do next, you heard something behind you. Turning around, you saw a rattata and they didn't seem like much of a threat since they were even smaller than you. Their eyes glowed an ominous red however and that was a bit worrying. "Hey there's more than enough..."
Unintelligible growls and screeches left the rat pokemon's mouth as they interrupted you. They didn't seem all that interested in talking and charged towards you. Time seemed to slow as you tried to think of all the things you could possibly know at your level of experience. At the very least you could tackle, baby doll eyes seemed like a poor decision as did either growl or tail whip. Though it was entirely possible growl might scare a smaller pokemon away in this world.
In the end you realized you could bite and lunged forward to bite the smaller pokemon. Only things didn't go as you pictured it in your head, instead of just nibbling on a small bit of the rat, you felt them lodge themself half way down your throat. The force of their tackle plus your open jaws were bound to be bad news when combined. Their wiggling within your jaws and throat almost made you want to gag as you thought about coughing them back out. Your hungry body had other plans however and instead of coughing them out, you swallowed. The rattata sank deeper into your throat as you watched their haunches near your jaws.
You had a hard time believing you were actually swallowing a pokemon but at the same time you were so hungry. It even felt good to nibble over the slightly chubby rat, gently gnawing over the soft fat and flesh. Your teeth never punctured their flesh thankfully and the more you swallowed, the more you wanted to consume this rat. Their hind end passed through your jaws and into your throat, leaving only their paws and long tail to slurp down. A small grin appeared on your muzzle as you took some pleasure in slurping down the tail, feeling the last of the pokemon disappear behind your lips. They were all yours now, it was the natural order of things in a world like this after all.
Fore paws going down to knead over the bulge in your belly, feeling the rattata squirming around inside of you. Part of you knew this was wrong but the instincts of your new form kept urging you that it was correct. You didn't know if you'd ever truly get used to the idea of eating pokemon but overtime you may be able to enjoy it more fully. It didn't help that the hunger you felt for most of the day was gone thanks to the foolish rattata diving straight into your muzzle. Feeling full was all you could ask for and you might even eat a rattata every day if it meant being well fed.
Rolling onto your back, you'd press your paws over the squirming bulge in your gut. Hearing the hungry growls turn into gurgling groans as your stomach starts to work over your first meal in this world. Part of you felt guilty about it, claiming a life of a pokemon in such a way but part of you felt like it was going to be alright. Slowly their squirms would start to die down as they succumbed to your stomach until they passed out. Idly twitching while their body was destroyed, reduced to nutrients for your body to absorb.
While you laid there, you wondered what the best course of action might be. It was probably wise to head back to the lake and see if there was a river connected to it. With any luck the river would lead to a city or at least a road and possibly a friendly face. The other option was to head up the mountain and see if you could see where to go from higher up. Unfortunately the stronger pokemon tended to live higher up the mountain so that could be unwise.
A ruffle in the brush nearby made you roll back onto your paws and go on high alert. If it was another rattata you could at least try to actually battle this time but if it was something bigger you might be in trouble. Fur standing on end, tail hiked up and ears facing the sound in the brush while you waited for them to appear. Time must have slowed with how long it was taking. You felt your heart racing as adrenaline pumped through your body, completely ready to fight or run.
Out stepped an arcanine, several times your size and you immediately knew you were outmatched. Their stomach looked like someone was squirming inside of it already which only made you more nervous. You weren't sure what to do about the large pokemon as he turned his gaze towards you. The best course of action was likely to run but you also knew that arcanines were crazy fast so you'd have to hide somewhere he couldn't fit. With any luck you might be able to talk your way out of it since they already ate but that was risky.
