So it appears the team is not really alone on seeing the magic hour pop up.

Thomas had relayed what had happened to his uncle, though this wasn't mentioned in the story but he was relaying everything magical up to this point because he too was trying to figure out the source of the magic hour. However Kevin Lionheart (Thomas's uncle) was trying his best to put things together, but in the meantime the magic hour would show up in random intervals basically screwing with the fighter's in their daily lives
