Keema's Adventure: Joining the Circle
#13 of A Voluptuous Lizard's Adventures in Skyrim
Keema gets a test that will change her perception of the inner circle of the companions forever. Will she succeed in the test or fail? Do the rest of the companions members know of this?
After finishing the job, Keema, Torvar, and Ria got paid for the job (although Ria demanded Keema get paid even more after finding out what the Alik'r men did to her, which Kematu paid for, and presumably punished his men for fucking Keema), and were back in business in Jorrvaskr once again.
A few days pass by and the members of the circle called them all for a test, a test that would have them all be part of the circle.
Ria, Torvar, Athis, Njada, and Keema all stood before the five members of the circle. Vilkas, Farkas, Aela, Skjor, and Kodlak stood before them.
"This is a day of great potential for you all, to prove yourselves you're all worthy of joining the circle" Said Aela.
"What kind of test is it? Is it a test of might that would have us pitted against each of you?" Torvar asked them.
"No, this is a test of retrieval. But not just any retrieval, you will all be retrieving a fragment of wuuthrad, scattered across different dungeons in skyrim" Skjor announced to them.
They all murmured among each other, Keema had heard of the fabled battleaxe that Ysgramor wielded, the bane of all elves.
"How did any of you know where it is?" Athis asked them.
"A scholar came by, and told us of the fragments' locations. He seemed a fool to me, but I know better than to doubt a scholar's claims with proof of how they got there. As for that proof, that is of no importance. What matters is that we're going to retrieve it in the name and glory of Ysgramor" Kodlak told them.
"So how are we going to be judged? We just come back with these fragments?" Njada asked them.
"Not only that, but we're going to judge you based on the courage you display, meaning we're all going with you and to see whether you're a milk drinker or a companion worthy of being a member of the circle" Vilkas told them.
The members of the circle stepped forward, with everyone being assigned one member to keep an eye on them as each of them left for the shards.
Keema and Farkas were the only ones left.
"So I'm guessing you're coming with me then?" Keema asked Farkas, who nodded in response.
"Yes, we're off to dustman's cairn, a nordic ruin, I hope you're not scared of the undead" Farkas said.
"Don't worry, I've tackled Bleakfalls Barrow before, I can handle a few undead" Keema replied.
"Don't get cocky, this is a test, take it seriously" Farkas reminded her.
...
Keema and Farkas made it to Dustman's Cairn, and saw a few of the undead had been killed near the entrance., it was evident someone, or more people had come here before them.
"Looks like someone's been digging through here, and recently too... Tread lightly" Farkas warned her.
Keema nodded and traveled further into the dungeon.
The path was littered with draugr as they eliminated any that had been, but nothing they couldn't handle.
They soon came upon some kind of chamber, as Farkas went to investigate the surroundings to unlock the gate blocking their path, Keema found a lever in a room and instinctively pulled it, causing their path further to open but the room she was in to lock her inside.
"What the...!" Keema said as she tried to lift the lever back up, but it was somehow stuck.
Farkas approached the locked gate she was trapped in and tried to pry it open, of course it wouldn't budge.
"Now look what you got yourself into... No worries, sit tight, I think there's a switch here somewhere... Wait what was that!?" Farkas said before turning around and hearing footsteps behind him.
A swarm of bandits quickly surrounded him, wielding silver weapons.
"It's time to die dog, we knew you'd be coming here, your mistake companion" One of them said.
"Which one is that?" Another said as they looked carefully at Farkas, ready to attack him all at once.
"It doesn't matter, he wears that armor, he dies" One said as his hands shook giddily.
"Killing you will be an excellent story" One of them taunted.
"None of you will be alive to tell it" Farkas retorted before he bent over and started transforming, growing fur, his arms and legs growing thicker, his whole body increasing in mass.
Keema watched in horror as one of the leaders of the companions transformed into a werewolf and gave a loud howl as the silver hand were too stunned to attack at first before attacking.
With the fierce strength of a werewolf, Farkas killed them all, tearing them all apart before Farkas left the room.
Keema backed away to the far side of the wall next to the lever before the gates opened, and expected the werewolf to come for her... Only for Farkas himself in his human form to return.
"I hope I didn't scare you" Farkas reassured her.
"You... You became a..." Keema stammered.
"A werewolf? It's a blessing given to some of us, we can be like wild beasts, fearsome" Farkas explained.
Keema, now understanding a little bit better, felt more calm now.
"You're going to make me a werewolf?" Keema asked him.
Oh, no. Only the Circle have the beast blood. Prove your honor to be a Companion. "Eyes on the prey, not the horizon." We should keep moving. Still the draugr to worry about" Farkas said.
"But how did you-" Keema tried to get back on the subject of the werewolf.
"No, around the companions, and especially the citizens of whiterun and the jarl, you're not supposed to talk about it. It's a well kept secret, one that I'm forced to show you today. I only hope that you don't confront anybody about this, except for the members of the circle like myself, but that doesn't include the soon to be part of the circle like Ria and the others" Farkas told her.
"... I understand, I'm going to try to keep this knowledge from the others until I understand things better" Keema said in defeat.
"Good, we're not done yet, you get a few points out of talking too much though I'll tell you that" Farkas joked as he went further in.
Keema laughed a bit before following him in further, killing more silver hand and draugr along the way until they came upon the main chamber and a word wall.
"There, the fragments, you have the honor of taking them Keema, you deserve it after seeing how you fought valiantly" Farkas said.
"Thank you Farkas... But I want to look at this wall first" Keema said and approached the word wall, and felt the knowledge of the dragons flow into her, her mind echoing a word that was unfamiliar to her.
"F-Fus?" Keema uttered, and before she knew it, she blasted a gust of fire in the direction of the wall, startling Farkas.
"By the gods! What was that!?" Farkas yelled as Keema held onto the wall.
"I... I think I just learned a new shout" Keema said.
"... Oh right, you're the dragonborn, I completely forgot about that... Now if you'll do the honors?" Farkas gestured towards the fragments again.
Keema recovered from the surge of knowledge, and took the fragments from the table.
As soon as she did, coffins started opening and draugr came out of their crypts.
Farkas and Keema readied their weapons, of course it wasn't going to be as easy as just taking the fragments and leaving.
...
After making it back to whiterun, Farkas and Keema walked to Jorrvaskr, where a small ceremony was held for all of them. Ria and the others had already made it back with their own fragments of wuuthrad, and it seemed she was the last one.
"Brothers and sisters of the circle, today we welcome new souls in our fold. These men and women have endured, have challenged, and endured their valor. Who will speak for him?" Kodlak said.
Kodlak himself, Farkas, Vilkas, Aela, and Skjor responded, and continued the ceremony.
Keema didn't listen much to the ceremony, her mind was busy with the fact that the older members of the circle were werewolves, and she was unsure what to think about that, but she had to confront Kodlak about it soon.
Alright so this is the proving honor chapter of the companions, so can you guys suggest on whether or not who'll fuck Keema next time? One of the werewolves imprisoned in the cells? Or Krev the skinner themselves?
Also some ideas that came to my mind were that some daedric princes like Sheogorath or Sanguine would curse her (not sure if permanent), like all the armor and clothing Keema would wear would become skimpy and too revealing, or her bust or ass becoming bigger.
Another idea of mine is to add a rival khajiit with the same voluptuous figure as Keema. I know since it'd be weird to have Keema have a good moral compass and then do questionable things like joining the dark brotherhood and thieves guild which I doubt someone like her would do so a rival would be a khajiit. If you have any suggestions for names let me know, as for when they will appear, I'm not sure yet. The khajiit will act more like a mercenary, maybe sent by the thalmor to eliminate Keema who she can't kill so she joins the thieves guild after her failure carrying out her duties with the thalmor. Stripping her of everything literally, not only clothes but her money as well so maybe that's where the motivation for joining the two guilds are. It's basically cat fails to kill lizard, cat gets tossed out by thalmor, cat joins thieves guild and dark brotherhood for money, cat tries to kill lizard again and fails again and again, maybe becoming the victim of the enemy instead of Keema from time to time.
Let me know what you think about all this
