World of Warcraft: Return to Gilneas - pt6
#6 of World of Warcraft Book 1: Return to Gilneas
Suel and Sapphire are left behind by Huttser. Suel apologizes to Sapphire before they try to catch up with the group only to be captured.
Huttser got up slowly from the bed trying not to disturb the still sleeping Wolvar. As much as he had enjoyed spending his nights with Suel he needed to get back on the road. They had rested in the Stoutlager Inn longer than he had wanted to. Among other things was a very angry tigress. Sapphire would give him dirty looks as he passed. Sambas would try to keep her calm, but it was no use since Huttser had been sleeping with the very creature that took her virtue.
'Where are you going?' Sambas asked the worgen as he headed up the stone path away from Thelsamar. Huttser looked back at his faithful companion, then at Sapphire. She seemed a little calmer than usual.
"I'm just walking out to the ruins of the Stonewrought Dam." Before another question could be asked he reached the summit of the small incline and looked out over what had once been a beautiful lake. He had never seen the Loch before the great cataclysm happened. A lot had happened in his land well before the undead invaded. No one even knew that Lordaeron had become inhabited by Lady Sylvanas Windrunner the banshee queen. There had been some rumors of resistance coming out of the Silverpine forest. A rumor Huttser intended to follow. He felt so close yet at the same time so far away. Khaz Modan was a big place that stretched as far north as the Hinterlands.
Huttser stood on the only stable part of the damn that still stood. From there he looked down the flooded path to the wetlands. It was quite an elevation change. Still, he knew he had to make it through the mountain passes. With or without Suel and Sapphire. Now that they have been brought back together, at least for the moment, they needed to settle their differences and allow the worgen and his pet to move on in peace. It was a good thing the Wolvar was still asleep and after last night who would blame him for being worn out. Before leaving the room Huttser had left a note and half of the gold he had left. He didn't need any of it since there was nothing for him to buy anymore. With a sigh, the worgen headed back to the Inn and called for his pet. Sambas came immediately. He knew it was time to go.
'Is everything alright, masterMaster?' He asked noticing Huttser's long worn expression.
"Everything is fine. It's just we need to leave Suel and Sapphire behind. As much as I enjoy the company, we've been here too long. Our new home is still some ways away unless we fly, and I know you don't like flying." Sambas nodded in agreement and didn't say anything in reply. Huttser's gear was in the blacksmith's Shoppe waiting for him to pick it up. He had intended to get it the next day and leave but that plan was changed when Suel came into the picture. He grabbed his gear and turned back to his pet. "Let's go. We need to cover a lot of distance before nightfall." When everything was ready Huttser close his eyes and focused on the sound of the world around him. When he opened them again a flash of light encircled him making him feel lighter.
"There now we can cover more ground quicker. I don't think we'll be getting into fights, so the aspect of the cheetah will help us get through the mountain passes at least." They took off down the road leaving behind the sleepy little underhill village.
Suel woke groggily and rolled over hoping to wrap his arms around a sweet worgen but what he found was nothing but air. He opened his eyes wide no longer tired and looked around the room. It was empty save for a note left on the small table with a sack on top of it. The Wolvar hopped out of bed not worrying about clothes since he never wore them and snatched the note from under the small yet heavy sack.
It read:
Dear Suel,
By the time you read this, I will already be gone. Sambas and I have our own little job we must fulfill if we are to ever live a normal life again. Ever since the cataclysm that tore this world apart nothing has ever been normal for me. It was never the same since I was bitten and transformed. Unlike you, I can't stay in my human form for very long. Anyway, I've left you a large sum of money I had accumulated on my journeys which I have very little need for. Please be safe and take responsibility for the young tigress you forced yourself upon. She needs your love and your help raising your cubs. Love her as you have loved me and one day we can meet once more in a true time of peace.
Until then I leave all my love.
-Huttser
Tears streamed from the Wolvar's eyes as he read then re-read the note. He had wanted to spend the rest of his life with Huttser but did realize he wouldn't be able to settle down. Huttser had mentioned once about his home in Gilneas. He even mentioned having to fight to get it back from the undead taking over land from the Trisfal Glades down to the Greymane wall in the Silverpine forest. It had once separated the Gilneas from the rest of the alliance so as not to get caught up in the political wars between King Terenas and the other lords governing the empire of Lordaeron. The Alliance wanted the Gilneas' help but King Genn Greymane didn't support the Alliance of Lordaeron during the second war when the orcs that hadn't been pushed back into the portal were enslaved in internment camps. Suel shook his head trying to regain his composure. He felt he owed it to Huttser to help him get his home back. After all, he did save him from becoming a slave to the dark iron dwarves. Making up his mind he knew if he was going to be able to help he would need an ally of his own which meant he would need sapphire to trust him completely.
Sapphire was asleep upon the bluff that served as the roof for the Inn. Her tail swished gently back and forth as she dreamed of peaceful times in the jungle. But they soon turned into nightmares about the swine who had come and taken everything from her. Forcing upon her his cubs and a desire for vengeance. She was awakened forcefully by the scent of the one she had come to hate yet at the same time she felt a love for him. Her feelings were conflicted till she saw him for the first time in days.
"What do you want?" Suel was not in his normal form. Instead, he was in his feral feline form.
"I come offering peace." He said stopping short. The money sack was tied around his neck like a pendant. Small and heavy but worth a fortune. The tigress sniffed and calmed down a little. Her white striped fur seemed to bristle and glisten in the morning sun. Part of her wanted him to go away but the better part of her wanted him to stay and do a little more than just apologize verbally. She knew he was going to apologize but she was going to make him prove it with actions.
'You're not exactly the trustworthy type. Why did you come to me? Are you wanting something?'
"I want to apologize to you. What I did was unfair, and I want to make it up to you." Sapphire's eyes glimmered for a moment it was what she wanted to hear but still there was a part of her that screamed for him to leave her. Still, she wanted him by her side as the proud father of their cubs. Her appearance of anger melted away as she looked at him judging his sincerity. He didn't look like the type to just give in and apologize unless he was truly sincere. Though she dropped her demeanor she quickly picked it back up and threw it back in his face.
'How can I trust you after what you did to me? How can you...' She was cut off by Suel who had moved in and kissed her deeply and passionately. The tigress felt that it wasn't fair that he stopped her from ranting, but she didn't want to say anything. The kiss was something she had wanted for a long time. To her, it was a sign of love. Instead of pulling away, she kissed back while her heart pounded in her chest. Her tail tip swished back and forth verifying how she truly felt about the whole situation.
Suel pulled away from the kiss slowly licking his muzzle. Sapphire began to cry and pounced the Wolvar nuzzling him affectionately.
'Please tell me you'll never leave me again.' She cried gazing longingly into his eyes.
"I won't.' He replied sadly. Not in a 'you win' sad but a regretful sadness showing he was not the same spiteful and sex-crazed druid he had been weeks before. "If that kiss wasn't enough I'm wanting to prove myself by sharing a true moment of intimacy with you." Sapphire smiled and leaned down stealing one more kiss from the supine druid. Then she leaned up to whisper in his ear.
'I know of a cave not too far from here where no one will find us.' Suel looked up at her in surprise. He hadn't expected everything to go so smoothly but he wanted to prove himself. He looked behind him for a moment making sure no one was watching before he turned back and followed her up the incline to a small cave hidden at the top of the ridge. The place looked like it had been deserted for some time though there was still some left-over refuse from previous tenants. Parchment littered the ground spouting lord knows what about against the Alliance, but he didn't care. The group responsible for them was long gone now. The Twilight's Hammer was no more.
'Are you coming, love?' she called back out of the small cave. He swallowed dryly hoping he could prove himself to her. In the dim light he could scarcely see her outline but what he could see showed that she was with cub though slightly. Anyone just glancing at her wouldn't notice but if you stared long enough you could see her sides start to bulge.
As he entered the cave he stepped softly moving around to behind her. She lifted her tail for him exposing her vaginal opening for him. Purring happily, he sniffed at her scent which was intoxicating before licking at the opening. She shivered and gasped at the feeling of his rough tongue once more on her clit. It made her extremely wet. She dug her claws into the ground as he lapped up the free-flowing juices dripping from her opening. He couldcouldn'thold himself back anymore and mounted her. He straddled her midsection and closed his eyes while trying to find the luscious opening with his shaft. The barbs on his cock were filling quickly, ready to rub her insides to make room for another stream of seed. Even though she was with his cubs he still felt he needed to make sure she would have his cubs. Sapphire growled at the feeling of the barbed penis penetrating her soft pink insides. She couldn't resist moaning happily as she felt the fur around the base of his shaft rub roughly over her exposed clit. She clawed into the hard ground when he bit into the scruff of her neck holding her in place. He kept thrusting while she struggled to get out from under him since his spines now puffed up and rubbed roughly against her sensitive insides. She growled and fought against his hold but was unable to shake him. He couldn't hold himself back for long and thrust in as deep as he could and flooded her insides coating the already growing cubs.
They were both breathing heavily by the end of it and when he finally let her goes she pulled away and swatted his nose. It was the typical reaction from most felines and he was used to it by now. What he hadn't expected was her to move in close and kiss him once more.
'That felt a lot better than the last time you took me. Just from your demeanor, I know you'll be a great father capable of teaching them how to be warriors and hunters.' Suel smiled and offered a nuzzle with a purr.
"Where shall we raise them?" He asked honestly. She wasn't sure, but he did offer a suggestion.
"Huttser told me of his homeland and if we were to help him reclaim it then it would be the perfect place to raise a family." She looked at him with a hint of doubt, but she owed so much to the worgen.
'Then let's go. Is he still at the Inn?' she asked but from the look on the Wolvar's face, she knew that was a no.
"He left sometime this morning and headed for the mountain passes into the Wetlands. What he doesn't know is that the passes are being guarded."
'Then we need to go. Where is it from here?'
"Just to the north. The Dun Algaz pass." They got up as quick as they could and made for the Inn first to find the road to the north. It wasn't too far but still, the road was long and the scent they picked up of the hunter and his pet were several hours old. The Dun Algaz tunnel pass was expansive as it snaked its way through the interior of the mountain. As they traveled the long path day faded into the night but what scared them was the scent they had been following was growing stronger. If they were far ahead then it wouldn't be so strong. Even with four paws and running they would have to run all night to catch up with them. Then before them was a scary sight where the path deviated into a recess. Laying in the road was a shadowy figure. They both recognized the scent and proceeded with caution.
'Is he alive?' Sapphire asked getting slightly closer but making sure she couldn't be seen in the dim moonlight. The shadowy figure was Sambas and he wasn't moving and very much alone.
"I don't understand," Suel said nudging the fallen comrade with his paw. "They should have been able to get by here without any provocation." Sambas stirred for a moment then with a look of pain on his features he looked at the two.
'They've... Taken him.' He managed to get out before collapsing for a moment. 'You... must... save him.' He tried to move once more only to fall back into place.
'Be still,' Sapphire said running her paw through the lion's mane. 'We need to move him to where he can be safe.' Suel nodded and tried to drag him into the shadows but the lion was too heavy for him. Sapphire got beside him and tried to pull as well. Together they were both able to pull him out of the light and into the shadows nearby. 'Now what do we do?' She asked quietly.
"We sneak in and set Huttser free," Suel whispered back. He wasn't looking where he was going as he left the safety of the shadows and ran headfirst into a big ugly orc.
"What do we have here. A new pet for the Dragonmaw clan?" Sapphire leaped out of the shadows to attempt to knock the big bruiser over, but he was way too big and strong for her. He easily grabbed her by the scruff of the neck with his free hand.
"Two little kitties for the clan." The orc grinned and tried to cart them off. They both struggled to get out of his grasp but couldn't. "You two need to chill out for a bit." The orc growled then slammed their heads together knocking them both out cold.
