Maelstrom arrived at the border to the Silvered Lands, sniffing the air. He had to find Trissie, he wanted Trissie safe, and well, he thought things would be better if Pop trusted him. He stared at the silver carefully, before taking a step and shuddering. The stories were true, the silver was different. It felt good. It felt impossibly nice, in fact, after having been in the wastelands for miles.

He stared straight ahead, taking another step. He had to resist the urge to bound forward and press as much of his body as would fit against the ground, whimpering softly, and taking another slow, careful step forward, eyes straining to stay open at the sensations on his paws. It was though this material was designed to ensnare those unused to it. The black shepherd scoffed. It likely was.

He got all four paws onto the silver, then started to slowly walk forward, hoping he'd develop a tolerance soon, but every step was harder to make, harder to force his body to move a paw away from that feeling, and his willpower was starting to falter.

There was a tap of a chromatic paw on his shoulder. Mael turned his head to look automatically, and a chrome muzzle opened and released a visible distortion in the air, uncolored, but definitely gas of a different density. Mael took too long to realize this was a bad thing, and had already inhaled. The American shepherd collapsed.

"Heh. Welcome to the Silvered Lands."

*************************

"Race? But I dunno if I can!" Trissie looked around worriedly as he followed Echo.

The sleek regal Greyhound chuckled, "I say you can, and what I say goes around here. Who cares if you're not a Greyhound? You have strong legs, big paws, the body of a lurcher, if I say so myself, and the sweetest rump in the Silvered Lands. Certainly that alone will keep the competition behind you." He winked a blue eye at the Dalmatian.

Trissie flushed with a blush, murmuring softly, "T-thank you, Echo..."

The greyhound chuckled and patted the dal's rump, "Go get them. There's something a bit extra-special for you for winning." He stepped over to the third slot of the starting cage and opened it, pulling a golden Greyhound out rather firmly. "You're sitting out this race, forty four."

The dal wagged, "Yes Echo!" He padded forward into the vacated slot of the starting cage, looking around at the other racers. They were all colored, but had a metallic finish. He guessed it was so that the spectators could tell them apart at distance.

These other greyhounds were all staring after Echo as he left, whispering to each other, looking over at Trissie expectantly, and few, looking petrified. Trissie wondered why they'd react like that, and then the cages began to rise up to the track level. As soon as it breached the surface, Trissie heard the cheering pour in. Blinking, he looked around as they got up all the way to track level, and the cages locked in place. The stadium stands were packed with the Silver Denizens, cheering everywhere. There was a stage in the middle of the track where an oddly nonmetallic orange and yellow ferret stood holding a microphone between his front paws, eyes hidden behind rather large sunglasses, "WHAT A WONDERFUL SHINEEEEEE DAY! ALRIGHT EVERYBODY! ARE YOU READY FOR A RACE!?"

The crowd's applause exploded louder in response to the enthusiastic ferret's cry. Trissie found himself wondering how such a tiny critter could produce such a voice.

"I SAID: ARE YOU READY FOR A RAAAAACE!?!?!?!"The ferret somehow yelled louder. Trissie saw this time the ferret opened his mouth that the inside was pure silver. That explained a couple things to the Dal, as the crowd exploded again, working off the announcer's high energy.

Trissie noticed the Greyhounds in the adjacent cages were getting into position, and did so as well, as the announcer continued.

"BEFORE THIS RACE THERE'S TWO teeny weeny CHANGES TO THE PROGRAM!" The Ferret bounced up on top of a podium, still holding his mic, "FIRST, NUMBER SIXTY-NINE IN THE NUMBER THREE SLOT IS A NEW RACER, LAST MINUTE ENTRY, AND A DALMATIAN! THAT'S A RARE SIGHT, ISN'T IT FOLKS? WE'LL HAVE TO SEE HOW THE SPOTTYBUTT RUNS!"

Trissie yelped as he noticed all eyes turning to him, blushing and giving a timid wave. There was a commotion in the crowd. People knew that number was Echo's

"SECONDLY, BY ORDER OF OUR GLORIUS RULER ECHO--" A platform raised up amongst the stands. A royal box, with Echo lounging inside, with Nos and Patch at his sides. Echo was in a new silk, new golden numerals declaring his new royal number as 44. The announcer ferret continued, "-THIS MATCH IS NOT AN ELIMINATION MATCH, BUT THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE INSTEAD A SPECIAL PRIZE! NO HOLDS BARRED FIRST PLACE TAKES THE SPOILS!"

The Greyhounds in the cage looked excited at this news, and Trissie breathed a sigh of relief. No penalty for totally losing. That was nice of Echo.

"SO! IN THREE! TWO! ONE! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" The cages swung open and the greyhounds all burst forward, followed by Trissie. "UH-OH, LOOKS LIKE THE NEW RACER'S GOT A BIT OF A LATE START! THAT SORT OF THING CAN COST A RACE!"

Trissie panted and ran, his rounded paws seeming to grip into the silver, launching him forward more with every step than he thought he should, and he wasn't getting tired. He ran, chasing the others. He made his way up alongside one at the back. As they entered the first turn, the greyhound rammed his body sideways into the dal. Trissie yelped, going flying towards the wall.

"OOH! NUMBER FORTY-TWO SIDESWIPING THE NEWCOMER! HARSH ATTACKS EVEN WITH NOTHING TO LOSE THIS RACE!"

The dal growled, wheeling his legs in midair until they met silver and he was running again, around the curve.

"OH MY ECHO!?! IS HE DOING WHAT I THINK HE'S DOING? HE IS! HE'S RUNNING ON THE WALL!"

Trissie hadn't even noticed, he was so focused on racing, he had run along the outer wall, perpendicular to the ground. He launched himself off the wall and sideswiped the hound that had knocked him to the wall in the firstplace. Number 42 was flung into 27, who hit one of 35's legs, and all three went down.

The applause was nearly deafening as the ferret found new decibels to exploit. "OH! SWEET VENGANCE AND TAKING OUT HALF THE COMPETITION! TWO CRITTERS WITH ONE PUP! THERE'S JUST THIS ONE LENGTH AND THE OTHER TURN BEFORE THE HOME STRETCH! CAN YOUNG SIXTY-NINE DO IT!?"

Echo was standing now, grinning as the race passed under his box. "Go Trissie."

The Dalmatian ran harder, the world seeming to slow to a crawl as he sped up. He looked at the inside wall of the next turn, strafing across the track towards it. He felt the grip he had on the silver with each broad rounded paw, and prayed it had the strength for what he was about to try. He who Dares, Wins.

Trissie's body turned at a right angle again, but the other way this time.

"AM I SEEING THIS? AM I REALLY SEEING THIS!? IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? SIXTY NINE IS RUNNING ON THE INSIDE WALL! THAT'S LIKE DECIDING TO RUN THE RACE ON THE CEILING INSTEAD OF THE FLOOR! AND IT'S WORKING! THE SHORTER PATH AT THE INSIDE OF THE TURN IS SLINGSHOTTING SIXTY-NINE UP TO LEVEL WITH THE LAST THREE HOUNDS BETWEEN HIM AND VICTORY! HOME STRETCH!"

Everyone in the stands was standing now, cheering loudly, egging the newcomer on to win.

The silver dalmatian's paws pounded into the wall firmly, launching off and aiming at the frontrunner. He gasped as the greyhound jumped, the dal sailing under him and towards the other wall! Trissie dug in his front paws, letting his hindpaws swing around before digging them in too and launching back forward with them. Number 81 yelped as he got a headbutt to the ribs as he was coming down to land after his dodge, knocked to the inside wall. Trissie couldn't even hear the Ferret's words anymore, it was all over excited gibberish as the last two racers came up beside him.

23 and 77 both went for a sideswipe into him at the same time, but Trissie jumped up, the greyhounds colliding below him. His broad paws touched down on their backs and he pushed off, riding that one last burst of speed forward. His paws hit the silver ground on the other side of the finish line and he skidded to a halt, hindlegs swinging around with a longer skid. He ended up facing the center stage, and there was a ramp lowered down. Trissie panted and padded up the ramp to the winner's Circle.

As he did, the crowd's sound returned to him. They were cheering for him. Patch was bouncing up and down. Nos was nowhere to be seen. Echo was smirking. And the Ferret was screaming.

"THAT IS THE BEST RACE WE'VE HAD IN A LONG LONG TIME! SIX DNFs AND ONE WINNER! RACER SIXTY-NINE! TRISSIE!!!!" The ferret bounced up and down all around Trissie, who swelled up with pride at his accomplishment, and all the cheering, all for him.

Trissie turned, and there was Nos, with a bag. The chromatic whippet grinned, "Knew you'd do it, Trissie. Here's your prize, a freshly caught outlander of your very own."

The bag fell open. There lay Maelstrom, half curled up, still knocked out from Nos' powerful fumes.

"Ooh... So.. uh... what do I do with him?" Trissie asked lamely.

Nos chuckled, "Whatever you want. He's yours."

The Dalmatian looked over the non-metallic shepherd carefully. Something was so familiar to him, but he just couldn't place it.

"Would you two like to be alone?" Echo's voice came from very closeby.

Trissie turned to look, and saw Echo was on the platform, petting over the announcer ferret.

"Yes, Chaos you did a very good job, good ferret." Echo cooed down to the orange and yellow tuberat as he continued to stroke.

Trissie looked back to the unconscious shepherd, grinning, "Sure, why not?"

Echo nodded, and the silver floor flowed up into walls around the winner and his prize, then a ceiling. There was a slight feeling of movement, and Trissie assumed that the chamber Echo had created for them was moving away from the center of the racetrack.

Only then did the black shepherd stir.

*************************

Mael shuddered, rubbing his forehead as he woke up, glad to hear the gentle squeak of his vinyl against itself. He had not been changed in his sleep. He looked around, seeing silver floor, silver walls, and a silver ceiling. There was a sack around and under him on the ground, presumably what he had been carried in. He turned his head and blinked. There was a silver and black Dalmatian in a racing silk standing there, watching him.

He slowly stood, getting his strength back more with each moment, "Hey, uh... why'm I here?"

"I won you in a race. Echo says I can have you to myself!" The Dalmatian said, wagging.

Mael's brow furrowed, the shep uncertain if this was worse or better than being outright converted to one of Echo's denizens. Also, this Dalmatian's voice was very familiar. He was trying to place it. "And what does that mean...?"

"Well, you're mine!" The dal padded closer, wagging, "And I must say, I do like how you look... kind of familiar, really..."

Maelstrom stared. He stared into this dal's eyes, thought about his voice. The body was more grown up, and so was the voice, but it was undoubtedly the same. "Trissie?"

"Yis! You catch on quick, don't you!" Trissie wagged happily, nosing at the shepherd, scenting him and wondering what he'd like to do with his prize.

"Yeah... quick..." Mael muttered. He was too late. Trissie was Echo's now... His brow arched as he thought. But, maybe he could do something to break the greyhound's hold on the dal. He spread his wings, and curled one around the dal slowly.

Trissie perked, and nosed at the other canine, "Oohh... that feels nice. Does my sheppy have plans?"

"Oh yes..." Mael cooed, "I catch on quick, after all..." With a fluid motion he was up and mounting Trissie, shuddering as his member touched something that wasn't there the last time he took the dal.

"Oh... well... uhm, Its okay if you're surprised..." The dal murmured, blushing, but pushing back his hips, engulfing the shep's shaft in that silver femsex, "It's kind of new to me, too."

Mael panted heavily at this new sensation, and tried to steel himself against the effects of the silver around his shaft, but he was already thrusting, wrapping both wings and all four legs around parts of the silvered dal, not realizing that the more of his body touching silver at one time, the less control he'd be able to have over the course of the mating. But even if he knew, it was likely at this rate he wouldn't care. It felt too good.

Trissie pressed back with each thrust, "Oooh, that's a good pup... Mine..." The dal spread his soft paws out on the silver ground, leaning his body down to give the shep better leverage for his thrusts.

The black shepherd groaned, feeling his knot swelling out rapidly as he kept thrusting. He bounced his hips firmly off of the pert silver rump over and over again, hoping that somehow he was getting through to the Trissie he knew, though it was starting to feel as though he was losing himself to the silver.

The dal panted, clenching down with that silver sex and pressing back, "Oh... Oh Mael, take me..."

Mael blinked... He hadn't introduced himself! "T-Trissie?" He kept thrusting, unable to stop even if he wanted to, his body almost working on automatic as pleasure flowed through him, his knot swelling and starting to wetly pop in and out, over and over again.

"Oh -Echo- Mael!" Trissie used Echo's name in place of a deity's without thinking, just pressing back needily, wanting to feel that black knot swell and tie him to this black shep again.

Again?

Trissie felt a wave of deja vu, but couldn't quite place why. Before he could think about it much longer, his body's urges were fulfilled.

The black shepherd yelped as his knot got caught, swelling out far too thick to come back out and he couldn't stop himself. He grasped Trissie's scruff in his maw and held on tight with every limb as he flowed, gushing his black seed into the dal below him, this time into his new sex.

The dal shuddered, sex spasming as his shaft bucked and sprayed across the floor, feeling the rush of black material filling the deeply hidden womb somewhere in his belly, bloating it up greatly. Trissie got a mental flash of black coming out his muzzle, but that wasn't possible from this entrance, was it? It must have happened before... He murmured... then started to remember something.

"Maelstrom... you... You saved me from Project once... before I came to the Silvered lands..."

"Yes, Trissie..." Mael sighed happily, nosing along the dal's neck, wrapping him up tight... He started pulling gently on Trissie with his material, hoping to tuck him inside so as to keep him safe as he escaped the Silvered lands.

Trissie groaned softly, at the same time pulling on Mael with his surface, "oohh... I want to keep you, Mael."

Mael groaned, his head laying down atop the dal's own, almost by itself, "oohh... I want to keep you too, Trissie... I want to protect you again..."

Trissie groaned, "I... I won you... you're mine." His voice sounded a little different, like the things he had remembered were being pushed away again. The pull from the dal increased rapidly.

"Trissie, no!" Mael shuddered and moaned, before he started to actually melt down over the dal, whimpering and keeping up his own pull, hoping to sever Echo's hold somehow as he was taken... He was afraid that it would be too late.

Trissie started to melt as well, gasping and writhing, "Oohhh..." He shuddered and kept pulling even as he flowed.

It wasn't long before there was a puddle of silver and black on the floor of the silver chamber.

There was a long moment where the puddle didn't move.

Suddenly, a muzzle surfaced from the mix, as if from a deep pool. Soon it was followed by the rest of a head, and then the body started to form, a Dalmatian, shining silver on the outside apart from his spots. On his back, where once was a racing silk, laid two black wings, folded around his sides, almost in the shape of the old silk. The Dal shuddered as he fully formed, working his jaw experimentally, the whole interior pitch black. Last of all was the Collar. It was pure black, with a little silver tag that read "Trissie, the Oncoming Storm."

Trissie looked around. Echo had left him a door to exit when he was done with his prize. He thought back, and two memories came up. He remembered both sides of having sex. He remembers racing for Echo, and racing to save Trissie, and racing to get away from Projects and... He remembered Pop, and the Shining lands... Pop must be so worried about him.

The dal padded to the door, looked around, then bolted. The black and silver streak flowed across the city, some denizens it passed losing whatever solid state they had from the shock of a pup passing by so quickly. Trissie ran as hard as he could.

*************************

Echo sat in his tower, yawning and idly wondering when Trissie would get rid of that outlander already. It already had felt too risky when he felt some repressed memories getting unlocked in his dal from being around the outlander. He blinked. He couldn't feel Trissie's mind anymore. He searched instead for the Silver he had infused into Trissie. Echo stood up suddenly, "No." He melted into his bed.

*************************

Trissie could see the border, where everything suddenly turned so dull and lifeless. He steeled himself for the feeling on the other side, when he noticed something. The ground was starting to feel softer, and the border was... rising.

"FLY" cried out in his mind, a familiar voice.

Without further thought he leapt as hard as he could and his wings spread, flowing broadly out into a full wingspan, pumping down as he reached the apex of his jump, and again as the wall of silver grew higher.

Echo himself stood atop the wall as it rose. "Trissie! You are Mine! Don't you dare leave!"

"Sorry, but this pup's gotta head home." Another voice came out of Trissie's mouth as he pumped his wings harder, getting up over the level of the rising wall, but he was level with Echo, too close!

Echo snarled and flowed, trying to ensnare the flying pup in silver tendrils.

Time seemed to slow as the tendrils got close. A voice in Trissie's mind calmly spoke. "He's too desperate to put enough energy into his tendrils to make them solid. A well placed sonic disturbance should knock them all away."

"What...?" Trissie thought, near panic.

"BARK." The voice insisted.

Echo stared as the dal let out a powerful bark right into his face. His surface rippled, and the tendrils closing in on Trissie burst into individual droplets of silver. Echo himself lost hardness and splashed backward, the whole wall collapsing away in a wave away from that point.

Trissie spread out his wings, gliding away, panting heavily, so relieved as a voice cooed in his mind lovingly, "That's my good boy..." He landed and began to run, off to the horizon, where he saw the Red City.
