Hypnovember - Day 14: Slime/Goo
#14 of Hypnovember 2022
Ratter already took control over Teryx, but that was just half the fun--more precisely, the second half of it. The first half comes from the preparation. It might surprise some of you, but possessing over someone is an art
Day 14: Slime/Goo
"Possession 101"
By Patrick D. Lambert
Of course, it all happened for a reason. Before the poor old Teryx got demoted from a conscious being to a mindless drone, he was followed closely by a male of whose existence he never got aware. A stalker would be the most appropriate term for the cat who followed around for over 2 months before putting his plan in motion.
It's worth mentioning why Teryx didn't notice the feline before, despite his very particular appearance. Named Japts, the cat's fur was a vivid reflection of the night sky, and this was not a romanticized description--more than one could swear the stars drawn on his fur moved as he walked, although no one ever had evidence of it. Aside from that, the rest of his traits were what one would expect of a cat, including the slender figure and that smug look in his clear blue eyes. His choice of clothing said how much he wanted to conceal his appearance, but the oversized hoodie didn't work in his favor.
Someone so peculiar would be noticed by Teryx, right? Right. Except... well, the rain dragon tried not to think about the multiple males following him around. It's bound to happen with a body like his, after all. Big muscles, disarming smile, and the strong musk left on his path, those were some of the main things that males--mostly from the gym--mentioned whenever someone else asked about Teryx. And while the dragon didn't mind receiving that kind of attention, he wasn't attracted to it either. In an almost automatic process, Teryx selectively ignored the people who stared at him for too long.
One of them was Japts, who, like many others, found Teryx at the gym and had been obsessed with him ever since. The cat was impressed at his body. He stared in awe at how his muscles tensed after each rep. His entire fur bristled whenever he got a chance to smell the musk lingering in the air. He couldn't stop his heart from beating fast in Teryx's presence. His reactions were no different from the rest. The difference was that Japts wanted Teryx, whereas the others wanted to be with Teryx.
The difference was subtle, and many would overlook it. Even if someone deciphered his true intentions, it would be labeled as impossible. Because there was no way in life Japts could get what he wanted. And that's why Teryx wasn't his first victim.
The cat took some days to study him. A possession is never an easy task, even for someone experienced. Each body is different and complicated. Taking over one doesn't fix all the physical problems the previous owner suffered. He knew about other body snatchers who jumped indiscriminately from body to body, but Japts was more meticulous and liked to get to know his future host. After all, you don't rent or buy a house without looking at it first, right?
That's how he discovered everything he needed about Teryx, from his favorite foods to the brand of underwear he preferred. It was curious that a male like him could have a life so... common. Japts expected parties and one-night stands leaving his apartment the next morning. But nothing of that happened in the dragon's life--and if it did, Japts had to recognize him for keeping it a secret from him.
He didn't need to know him in full detail. And by all gods, he didn't have to talk with him directly. Japts had a predilection over fresh victims, bodies that hadn't been possessed and didn't know anything about him. That's why he limited his stalking to a certain level, trying not to get into personal stuff that he would discover anyway after taking control. Teryx was in good health, and Japts knew more than enough to mimic his daily routine without calling the attention. And that was all he needed to continue.
Teryx did his routine in the afternoon, except on Friday, when he visited the gym during the night. Less people went after 10 PM, so he had enough room and time to move between the machines at his own pace. It was also the only day he used the showers. That was the perfect opportunity.
After enjoying two hours of a beefy dragon lifting weights and sweating all over the place, Japts followed him into the showers, keeping a good distance so he wouldn't notice his presence. He thought about many ways in which he could invade his body, and he continued while getting rid of his sweaty clothes. But the cat was a sucker for classics.
Each stall had been built with privacy as the main concern--except for a small opening under each plastic door. It wasn't really a concern, no one could fit through those 10 centimeters. But Japts was different from everyone else. The naked cat walked slowly, his tail marking the pace. Not a soul walked in or out of the locker room, which made him and Teryx the only two males in there. Japts stepped outside the stall occupied by the dragon--not even the chlorine could hide the scent.
The cat licked his lips. He was savoring the anticipation that came before each hunt. The sweet moments of peace before an attack. His victim was completely unaware that his life was about to change completely, how could Japts not find that exciting? He took a deep breath and shook his shoulders to loosen them up a little. Then, his body began to melt.
Peculiarities didn't stop at his fur. The cat--or to be more precise, space cat--had the ability to turn into slime. He wasn't very comfortable with the idea of becoming an amorphous blob, but it was the easiest way to sneak on his victim. Even if he was found in that shape, anyone would assume it's paint.
Japts sneaked under the door and got a magnificent view of Teryx's booty. The black lycra pants he wore didn't make justice to the real thing; his ass looked so big and juicy, especially under the running water. Its sight even tempted Japts to delay the possession so he could have a chance to play with him first, which would have been the case if the cat wasn't so desperate for his body. There would be time for that after he turned Teryx into a drone.
The dragon was too busy scrubbing his chest and arms to notice the blob growing some tendrils behind him. He hummed a pop song he heard that same afternoon and had been stuck in his head since. It never crossed his mind to turn around. Not even the primordial fear of the monster sneaking up on you while you rinse your head made him open his eyes and turn. Teryx was confident he was alone.
That's why the surprise shut down his brain for an instant the moment Japts entered through his mouth in a swift and gross-looking move. Even with his eyes wide open, his mind wasn't processing anything while the multiple tendrils of dark blue slime forced his mouth open to invade his throat. His tail lashed violently and his hands twitched, but it was a mere reflection rather than a signal of resistance. During the 5 seconds that took Japts to invade his body, Teryx didn't feel a thing.
The dragon shook his head and looked around, aware that time had passed. But instead of getting suspicious, Teryx only shrugged and assumed he dissociated from reality for 5 seconds. It was the most obvious answer. And meanwhile, the sneaky cat had begun to spread all over the dragon's body.
Oh, if only he had more time. As Japts made himself comfortable in Teryx's head, he regretted not having the chance to make a slime suit around the dragon--the process was longer, but it gave him the perfect opportunity not only to feel the body from the outside but also to play with his victim's desperation before moving in.
That said, he still enjoyed breaking his will from the inside. The slime spread slowly, coating muscles and bones alike. This gave him an overall idea of Teryx's strength and capabilities, which weren't so different from his initial observations. It also helped him relax his victim and absorb his energy--he was already "in control", after all, but the last thing he wanted was for Teryx to resist and kick him out of him.
But the best part was talking. How can you ignore a voice coming from inside you? Even if it's a whisper, you simply can't. Of course, those little things are usually overlooked. Even your mind tells you it's nothing. But it's happening. And Japts loved that.
"Teryx. Sweet, sweet Teryx. I've been following on for days. Admiring this perfect body of yours. You are so big and strong. And now that I'm inside you, I know you are. Oh, I can barely contain myself. I'm dying to move you right now. Guide every step. Move your arms. Wag your tail. Can you feel me? Can you feel my slime spreading all over you? I wish you could. I wish you could feel what I'm feeling. How the muscles tensed with each step. Oh, the weight your paws hold. It's incredible. You are incredible."
Teryx heard it, of course. He heard a murmur behind him. Probably someone talking on the phone. The dragon continued walking, trying to ignore the stranger's conversation. He rubbed his left arm and felt it swollen. A quick inspection to the right one offered the same result. He decided to lift less weight tomorrow.
"I'm taking over you. My slime spreads across your entire body. As you walk, I'm absorbing your energy. This heaviness you're experiencing is caused by me. Feel how I began to take away what once was yours. You can fight. You can resist. But in the end, you are bound to be mine. Up to the last cell of your body will be coated by my slime. And you will become a mere vessel for my personal use."
The dragon continued his walk. Yes, he was feeling heavy. Tired too. His long yawn told him to crash on his bed as soon as he arrived home. A hot shower after the gym always had that effect on him. But of course, that night in particular it hit him harder than usual.
"You haven't noticed me yet, right? Of course you haven't. You can't. You hear my voice in the distance, but you know no one is there. You're feeling my presence next to you, but you know no one is there. Or that's what this silly head of yours wanna makes you think. Because it's logical. And you want a logical explanation."
Again that person talking. Teryx thought it would be rude to turn around, but his conversation was starting to get him anxious--enough to speed up the pace in hopes to put some distance in between. He couldn't tell why but his constant presence angered him. And he only noticed after feeling the soreness from clenching his fists so hard.
"Yes, go faster. Waste your energy. Try to escape. You are gonna run out of logical answers. I'm gonna force you to face a mystery that can't be solved. A voice in your head. A presence inside your body. Both illogical and impossible, yet the only answers your silly little head is gonna offer you. None will give you peace. And you will fall into desperation. The sweet, sweet desperation of a cornered mind."
The voice was getting clearer. Teryx listened to a couple of sentences, but none of them gave him an idea of what the male was talking about. He only heard his voice getting more and more excited. And closer too. Even after he tried to put distance, the stranger insisted on getting closer. He had all the reasons to be scared of his life. The dragon took a deep breath and wiped the cold sweat from his brow.
"You feel it, right? You're sweating. Your heart is beating faster. You're scared. The fear is already crushing your spirit. You're facing something you can't explain. The doubt is there, but you don't want to face it. You don't want to accept reality. You want to escape from it. But no matter where you go, I will follow you."
Teryx was approaching his building. He couldn't let that stranger know where he lived. He had been following him since he left the gym. Teryx wanted to be the best dragon, assuming he was nothing but a passerby. But that was enough. He was patient. He tried to ignore him. Teryx even walked faster. And the stranger was still there. And he simply couldn't shut up!
"Turn. Face it. Fall into your anger and embrace the desperation!"
Claws out. With smoke already coming out of his mouth, Teryx turned on his heels, ready to give someone a heart attack... except no one was there. Aside from him, the street was completely empty. Teryx regained his composure, only to feel a chill go up his spine. The dragon stepped back, looked around... then hugged himself in search of comfort. No one was there, and he could still hear the voice.
"And now... bow."
The dragon, exhausted, ran into his building for the last time.
