Wow, slightly off of one week! I'm shocked!

"Can't we just create like a big antenna that can reach out into space?" Bones asks, tapping his pencil against his notebook. They were discussing how to boost the signal of the engine.

"No, that boosts range, not ability to go forward in time."

"Well," Xavier guesses, "Theoretically, if we could reconstruct the ship, we could send it through the system like it usually would."

David looks at the lizard, and claps his hand together, "Okay, let's roll with that idea¼how will we put together a machine that will be made for another 700 years?"

Michael gives a sincere answer, "From the ground up. We put our knowledge of our past to the test, and we try to create technology ahead of its time."

David throws the monkey a book that he recovered from the crash, "Study up, then. May," she looks up to him, "we'll have that talk later, sorry about this. I have to go and meet with Winor about a problem they encountered," he pauses, thinks for a second, "Bones, you're not doing anything, so you have to help me out."

He sets down his notebook, "sure, what's the problem?"

David puts on his coat, then throws the cat one too, "It's about minus thirty degrees in there. You'll need one!"

David and Bones walk into the refrigerated room, and are greeted by the other heavily layered humans inside. David looks over the item that they have in the chamber. David removes his glasses, and says plainly, "This is not what I expected when you sent the E-mail."

Bones walks up beside him, "Is that¼"

They were staring over a short drop into a larger chamber that held a large square box. It was as long as a king-sized bed, and just as tall. The like was recognizable, but it was, to say the least, unexpected.

"When did-"

"Not an hour before I called you" Winor says as he walks up to them. He was sipping a cup of hot water to keep him warm, "We thought it was from your ship at first, but it looked like it's been here longer than your arrival."

Bones went first, sliding down the ladder, and reaching the bottom of the ditch. He rubs his hands and moves out of the way of his senior officer. When they both were down there, David checked the sides of the box, and he finds what he was looking for, "Bones, look at this!"

They kneel by a corner of the black box, and Bones takes off his glasses to read the inscription:

Wings of the Angels series

Model: 17819905

Enlisted to: Michelangelo Ruyhorné

Copyright: 2687, Marlinea Aviano

"Well, that's not good."

"What is it, Captain?" Winor walks up and looks at the inscription. The date is the first thing he reads, "So, it's authentic?"

"Definitely authentic¼that's the problem." Bones says before David can even react.

"Care to explain?"

"Cool fact: One day in 2681, a blue jay by the name of Marlinea Aviano decided to create a box that looked exactly like this. It was supposed to be a storage unit that could keep ANY item EXACTLY like it is at the time of placing it in the device."

David and Winor looks at each other, "Did you know about this?"

David looks back at him, "Anthony has many hidden talents," Bones look back at him in a surprised look, he's never been called by his real name before, "Continue on, Trebeck!"

"Okay¼" he questions his boss' intentions, "well, during an experiment, she figured that if it works one way, that it could work the other way was well. So she set a time to send something back in it. She waited to put a note in the device to say it worked, but there was already the unit. It had worked, but she sent the note anyway to complete the cycle. She figured out what she had on her hands¼a working time machine."

Winor drops his cup of hot water, "This thing, is a TIME MACHINE?"

"Yeah, but they were so unpractical that it wouldn't work, so instead of just sending THEM it sent the machine too. It was eventually turned into what you two pulled out of the ship! With this we could get home¼but there's a problem."

This time, David looked shocked, "What do you mean by that?"

"This thing weighs as much as an apartment building. If we tried to move it, it wouldn't budge an inch. The only other solution would be to actually use it, that's my other concern. Water flooded the city of New York in about 2700 during an unexplained earthquake. If we go to 2754, our own time period, we would end up in the bottom of the ocean!"

David thinks for a second, "but this one has a link to a pervious time, 2687. We could tell someone then, and stop us from-"

"No, we couldn't," Bones says sternly, "That would break the time/space continuum, causing a chain reaction to differ our knowledge of the past of our present future. Mindfucks aside, we have an even bigger problem on our hands."

"Yeah," Winor says, picking up his now empty cup, "like, how did your past get into our present."

"I say, we've¼" he puts on his sunglasses, "got a time bandit in New York."

Bones just glances to him, "You didn't just do that!" He does a turn, and goes up the ladder.

"What?" he replies as he follows him with his eyes. Shaking his head he looks back to the device. He rips back off his glasses, and looks closer at the engraving. Right underneath the word "Copyright" is a small couple of cuts that are scratched into the metal and obsidian compound. It was a snake, coiled around a fist that is clutching a sickle. This wasn't JUST some random graffiti, it was a gang symbol. He takes out his camera, and snaps a picture of it for later.

Later

David opens a book that he had rescued from a drawer in his cabin. The book, although burnt, was still legible. It was a history book that detailed the 27th century. He turns to a page of the book; a blue jay is standing with two other birds and a figure of unknown species in the background. He reads the caption:

"From left to right: Angel Downs, a dove, Marlinea Aviano, a blue jay, Hans Keywei, a mockingbird, and creative engineer, Michelangelo Ruyhorné, a Rhydon.

"Together, they helped co-create the "Wings of the Angels," the first working time machine in history."

He looks back over the names, one of them comes out, Michelangelo Ruyhorné. That name was on the time machine.

He closes the book, and opens a leather bound folder. This was ALMOST untouched by the blast. It was a list of different Leagues, Groups, Pirates, Gangs, Army Regiments, and Rebel parties that have ever been. This had most of its pages lost, but only one had a clue on it. I see a page with a big red fist with a snake and a sickle; the same as before. It had no information, no previous involvements, nothing¼just a name. He looks at the burnt part for a while to make out the name. Then the letter show themselves. He wrote on the sheet what he saw. An H here, two Os there, and he looks at word that forms, "The Brotherhood."

He remembers them, an old group that stayed to themselves until their demise in 2710. The flooding had killed, and scattered the leaders, "Apparently not all of them."

"All of what?"

He spins around, and sees his lover in the doorway. He closes the folder behind him, "Nothing to be concerned about. So, what'd you what to talk about?"

She sighs, "The same thing I've wanted to talk for three days now," he folds his arms, and leans back in a pose that says that he was all ears. She takes a deep breath, and look at him, "Do¼do you love me?"

He raises an eyebrow, "Didn't we already have this conversation?"

She frowns at him and she open her mouth, sweat clearly shone on her face, "David...I...uh...I'm...uh...I...just...Love you, that's all."

She tries to open the door to leave, but the knob was frozen to the touch. in fact, the door had been sealed shut with ice, "I'm not letting you out until you tell me what's wrong," She looks at him angrily, at the door angrily, and then to him with scared eyes, she then punches the door, hurts her hand, and looks back at him, "Stalling won't help you, May. I've known you for a year now, you can tell me any thing."

She looks at her belt, the fire charge was gone. She had left it in her room. She looks at the door, at him, then sighs and pulls up her shirt. He leans back in surprise, and she walked closer. She snaps off her pants button, and slips off her panties in the process. Finally reaching him, she unclips her bra, and it fall into his lap. She sit on his lap too, her breasts an inch from the end his mouth. She grabs his face and kisses him. She didn't want sex though, he could feel it. He just wasn't sure what to think about the position he was in (Author: Lame pun I know...). May grabbed his head, and placed it on her belly. David, still confused, asks, "What are you-"

"If you're really quiet, you can understand." He thought about it, then heard something with his heightened dog senses. It was a very faint sound, so he put his ear to her downy feathers. While in that position, he couldn't she the smile go across her face. He closed his eyes and listened closely. A slight thumping sound floats into his ear. He goes though his mental library of possibilities.

He open his eyes, looked up into her smiling face, "You're...I mean, It's a...I'm a...and you...you're..."

"Yes!" She hugs him, "I'm pregnant!" They sat there in the warm embrace of each other, and then he pulls her off of him, and gives her back her clothes, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing," he lied, "I just need to do something first."

David unfreezes the door, as May finishes putting on her clothing. The door opens, and Bones is dragged in by his tongue; which was frozen to the door, "I'm thorry, I cudent help mythelf."

He frees his tongue from the door, and calls a team meeting.

A couple minutes later

David was still pacing, as the rest of the team sit down in a bored silence. Then, he stops, "I've got it! First, we need a team that can hook the engine to the WotA. Michael, you need to be there, since you're currently the lead mechanic of the team. Bones, you can accompany him due to your knowledge of the machines."

"Figure that, Bones is actually useful for something." Michael says jokingly.

"Second, I need May and Xavier to stay here and keep up the research. The four of you need to stay in constant contact with each other. I will be visiting an old friend who might know about something that I've come across in my own research. We need to be swift and effective for this to work. Let's get to work!"

They all got up, and got to work: Xavier opened a drawer and pulled out three burnt books, a folder of schematics and a box that looked like a package. Michael came from his room with a box of tools and his orange and black winter coat. Bones was putting some snacks from the fridge in a bag for later. All of this was going on while May just sat in her chair. David walked over to her, and told her to get up. She was on her feet, but still not in the right frame of mind. She felt his hands on her face, turned to him, and he kissed her.

They hugged once again, and she looked up at him. He whispers in her ear so no one can hear them, "Keep it to yourself, and try to stay low key about it. We'll sort this out later. Remember that I will always love you, both of you!" He closed it with a kiss to the forehead, grabbed his jacket, and walked out. He starts to walk down the driveway, blowing into his hands to keep them warm, "At least it'll be warmer in the-" he stops in his tracks. The garage was empty, "BOOOOONES!!!" He yells at the top of his lungs.

Bones was conveniently a mile away already.

Next week! Someone will be voted out of the house, in the most dramatic voting ceremony this season. Next time on Survivor: NYC edition...yeah, not as funny as I thought. But at least it gets the point across.
