Time passed by and the fresh, reviving breeze of spring gave way to the bright, warmth bringing shine of summer. With the full sun high in the sky, many people walked along the streets and visited the various ice cream parlors or open-air pools to cool their bodies. Oh, that's a good one.", Nick said with a big smile, when he heard the name of the last drink. He only had it once at Jackob's place and although it was pretty bubbly at the start, it tasted pretty good.

" And what about you?", Jackob asked back and leaned a bit over to take the look at the sports bag, which was bobbing between the serpent's feet." Yeah.", Jackob approved, although he already knew that and both guys shouldered their bags and left their seats, before they positioned themselves in front of the bus' backdoors.

After it had come to a full stop, Nick and Jackob exited the transport vehicle through the opening doors and waited for the driver to drive away, before they crossed the street. The damn was set in a forest on the very edge of the city and was surrounded by small mountains. The only visible builinds up here were a stone house at the lower end of the dam, one of the outer city districts Nick and Jackob had passed on their way here and a restaurant, which sat right next to the dam entrance and in direction which the shark and snake were heading as they crossed the street. It only took them three or four additional minutes until the two guys had crossed the dam and where now following a paved walkway, which encircled the entire lake and led along the allotment gardens of the area. Luckily, Nick and Jackob didn't need to go that far, but only had to follow the way for a few hundred meters, until they spotted the first of various, beaten paths which led down to the shore. Due to it's narrow size though, the two boys only were able to go one after an other and even needed to walk step by step, as they climbed down the small slope. Jackob stopped his movement and remembered that he was still wearing his clothes and sports bag and so a barely visible blush appeared on his cheeks, when he answered:" Yeah, you're right.". After his body had relaxed again, Nick let go of Jackob's tail and the two walked closer towards the water. When they had found a good spot that seemed to be mostly free from any larger rocks that could prick when being bare foot, both predators unshouldered their bags and laid them on the ground, before opening their zippers." So, this is officially our place now.", Jackob proclaimed after he and Nick had taken out their towels and spread them over the pebbel ground to mark their territory, before he turned around and looked at the artifical lake with it's sparkling, blue-green surface. He had already waited enough, it was time to swim. With the desire building up in his guts and no regards for any possible bystanders, Jackob kneeled down to untie the laces of his shoes, before slipping out of them. After giving his friend the second orgasm of the day, where even Jakob's dicks had spurted out the last remains of his seed, the two friends swam back to the wall of the dam, where they had left their stuff, and waited for a good moment where no other people nearby where watching them, before they stepped out of the water and sprinted towards their place. Jackob lowered his phone and looked over to his buddy with a confused expression, before he asked back:" Why?"." Err..., because of the surprise I wanted to give you and for that, I would like you to stand up."." Ok.", Jackob replied and although he didn't understand what the point was, or why Nick was acting so strange in the first place, he put his phone in stand-by and laid it back onto his bag, before rising up on his feet. Nick did the same and crossed the few steps betwen himself and his friend, his cheeks showing a heavy blush, before he gently took one of Jackob's hands stretched his arm out.

With his other hand staying behind his back, Nick knealed down in front of his friend like servant would in front of his king, and his cheeks were almost as red as the blood running out of the bite marks Jackob had left behind, before he began to say in a pretty insecure voice:" Jackob Meier..., I... god that is so much harder than I have expected... *aehem*... You and I, we know each other since elementary school and during all this time, you've always been such a good friend to me. You've helped me with so many problems, like when we had our first swimming lesson and you helped me to overcome my scare of water, when you visited me in the hospital every day after I had broken my arm or when you helped me through my lovesickness when my crush had turned me down. You always were someone special to me and although I already had a suspicion, it just has been recently during the following months after our first time, that I recognised how much you really mean to me. And so I ask you, Jackob Meier,...", Nick spoke and pulled his free hand from behind his bag, which was holding a rectangular, wooden box."... do you want to become my boyfriend?".

With the last few words, Nick let go of Jackob's hand and opened the box, which revealed a pair of artfully crafted, ornamented bracelets. Both of them had a snake and a shark sculptured on their surface and were shining in shimmering silver and pure gold with a diagonal split seperating the two colors at the middle, which gave both trinkets a small twisting pattern." Oh my god, Nick! I... I... wow.", Jackob stammered with wide open eyes when he saw what his friend had bought for him and with an unbeliving expression that showed his pondering wether this was really happening or just a dream, his view switched between the bracelets and Nick's still highly red, but hopeful face, before he asked:" Where did you get these from?"." I bought them from the jewelery store at the old town. I figured that, due to your webbings, it wouldn't be that easy for you to wear a ring and I thought that a bracelet would be a suitable alternative. Although they had to change them a little to my likings. The shark, snake and silver parts weren't on them originally."." Wow... Nick I... sorry....", Jackob excused himself, when he once again wasn't able to finish his sentence. He still couldn't believe that this was real and he knealed down a bit to grab the left of the two bracelets to take a closer look.

Although the two creatures displayed on it didn't resemble Nick and himself, they still looked beautiful. They had a good amount of details, like the three set of gills on the shark's neck or the snake's slitted eye and forked tongue, and each of them stretched almost completely around their side of the ornament, giving the impressions that they would try to bite themselves into their own tails. When he looked over to Nick again, he also noticed that both bracelets had an inverted color scheme with his one displaying a golden shark and a silver snake, while in Nick's case the snake had been on the golden site of the jewelery and the shark on the silver one. It was just astonishing and Jackob felt how his arms and tail began to shake slightly from the surprise and a bit of embarresement as well, when he asked:" How have you been able to afford these? They must have cost a fortune."." Yeah, they've really ripped a hole in my bank anccount.", Nick answered and his cheeks flushed even more in that moment as he did and didn't answer Jackob's question, before he quickly added:" But I think it was worth it."." Yes, it really was. I'm sorry, I just can't still believe that this is happenning or what I should say."." A Yes or No would be a good start.", Nick replied, this time with a gentle smile on his muzzle, as he kept looking hopefully up to Jackob and didn't break his eye contact, until he had his answer.

Jackob on the other hand said nothing for a moment, but rather took an invert turn to see what his body was telling him. His whole self was a swirl of joy, happiness, the aforementioned embarresement and also concern. On the one side, he really liked Nick and wanted nothing more than to see him happy and to spend as much time with him as possible. On the other side, he didn't want to grieve him with his concerns in insecurities that their current feelings for each other may were only a phase and not destined to last forever, not after he had made him this precious present, but just saying Yes for the sake of momentarily making Nick happy seemed wrong as well. There was a short moment of silence, in which Jackob rapidly blinked with his eyes as he realized what he had done, when his body was suddenly flooded with emotions. He didn't know why, and didn't care either, but from one second to the other, all mental barriers broke down and he felt like the happiest herm on earth. Unable to contain his feelings, Jackob strained the muscles in his legs and downright flew into Nick's arms, before he wrapped his own limbs around the snake's neck and said:" Of course I want to be your boyfriend, silly. How could I ever say no to such a cute snake like you?".

Nick on the other hand only had enough time to move his arm with the jewelery box to the side when Jackob had stormed towards him and a loud "Uff!", escaped his muzzle as his body had been almost trippled over from the heavy weight of the shark. But when he heard Jackob's words, he was the one now who couldn't believe it and to make sure, he asked back:" Really, you want to be my mate? We're officially a couple now?". Jackob answered with a frantic nodding of his head, before he said" Guess we are.", three words, which stretched Nick's mouth into an unnatural wide grin. His body was filled with the same firy passion that Jackob filled and he could only hold back his emotions for a every short moment, before he joyfully shouted:" Oh, awesome awesome awesome! We're mates now!."." Yeah!", Jackob replied with an equally happy voice and both of them stretched out their arms to take each other into a deep, heart warming hug, into which Nick murmured:" This is so rad.".

They were holding each other tightly for a minute or two, before Nick began to loosen their embrace and rested his hands on Jackob's shoulders looking at his lover's face, before he said with mild pants:" Phew, alright. Let's do this properly then. Can I have your bracelet for a moment?"." Sure." Jackob said and pulled his arms back as well, before he gave Nick the golden and silver ornament. The snake wrapped all of his fingers around it and Jackob heard a gentle 'click' when a hidden lock sprung open and the piece of jewelery opened in the middle." May I have the honor?", Nick asked and Jackob gave him a nod, together with a "Mmhmm.", before Nick leaned forward. Holding the ridge inbetween the two half tubes against Jackob's arm, he carefully closed the bracelet again to make sure that he wasn't clamping the shark's skin in the process, before with an other 'click', the two halfes closed again." Seems to fit perfectly.", Nick commented when he saw the ornament on Jackob's arm and the shark swang it a little back and forth to see if it would slid around or not." Yeah. it really does. Guess it's my turn then.", he said and took the second bracelet out of the wodden box, which was still in Nick's hand and laid both of his hands around it.

" You can pull it open at their bellies.", Nick said when he saw how Jackob was giving the ornament a closer look while spinning it around in his hands. When he had found the spot where he could see the shark's and snake's belly, he still needed a few tries, until the bracelet opened, which he commented with a delifghtful "Ah.", before he leaned forward and wrapped it around Nick's left arm, just like his lover had done." Suits you well.", Jackob said with a big smile after he had pulled back and had taken a look at Nick with the bracelet on. It really fit well to his already ebony colored scales." Thanksss. You look good with it, too.", the snake replied and both guys gave each other a big and happy smile, before Jackob asked:" Soo, with this out of the way, what are we doing now?"." To be honest, I could use a small snack or something. I feel really hungry and a bit dizzy."." Doesn't surprise me to be honest, you're still bleeding a bit.", Jackob said with a bit of concern in his voice, as he looked at the dark red strings of blood flowing out of the bite marks his teeth had left behind and down along Nick's side and part of his arm." Are you really sure that you are ok?"." Yeah, it's fine", Nick said while taking a look at his own shoulder." It will heal eventually, don't worry about it. Just let eat something and enjoy this moment while it lasts."." Ok.", Jackob said and watched how his reptilian mate reached into his bag and pulled out a bunch of bananas and the french roles, while he himself grabbed one of the cola bottles he had taken with him.

They stayed for a few more hours and spent their time with eating, relaxing and an other round of swimming, before they decided that it was time to go back home. After they had taken the bus hat brought them back to the city center, Jackob and Nick said good bye to each other and gave their partners a quick kiss on the nose, before they parted ways and walked back home. When they arrived their, it didn't take long until their parents discovered their bracelets and asked them where they got them from, whereupon Nick and Jackob happily told them about their experiences at the dam and that they were officially a couple now. The only thing they kept for themselves as a secret was the sexy times they had under water, which was propably for the better. The rest of the day was business as usual and they spent most of it either with gaming or learning for their final exams, which were comming closer and closer with steady steps.

However, aside from their tightened relationship, both guys learned pretty quickly that their little trip to the lake had some other lasting, unintended consequences, especially for Nick. The snake was in the middle of his morning routine and was washing the scales on his hands and face to make himself ready for school, when he noticed something strange on his neck. His eyes widened and his mouth opened with a surprised gasp, when he saw what was going on. The wound between his neck and shoulder, where Jackob had given him his especially deep and passionate love bite during their orgasm, had evolved from a normal bleeding into a full grown hematoma and filled his otherwise bone colored scales with a deep purple discoloration.

" Oh crap.", Nick exclaimed with notible concern as he saw what was going on and curious as he was, he lifted his free hand and brought it to the wounded spot to check how bad it was. However, he immediately regretted doing so as a sharp pain ran through his upper body in response to the touch of his scaled fingers, which in return caused him to clench his eyes for a moment and emit an uncomfortable hiss." Ouch, ah. Well, I guess that explains why my neck was aching so bad when I woke up. Guess I should take it more easy today.". With that words, Nick let go of his collar again and continued with his morning routine. Stepping out of his pyjamas, the serpent switched from his sleeping clothes to his regular day ones and while the fabric of his t-shirt rubbing against his wounded skin felt a bit uncomfortable, it wasn't as bad as expected and the sensation also vanished after a few moments.

After having everything set and done, Nick stepped out of the bath and returned into his own room to grab his school bag, before he followed the stairs downstairs and walked along their hallway, which led him into their dining room." Morning.", he greeted his mom, who was standing in the kitchen and making her breakfast, after he had stepped through the door." Good morning honey.", the female snake responded and looked up to watch Nick walking around their eating table and putting his school bag on the floor next to his chair, before he turned around again and walked through the door-less frame into the kitchen." So, is dad still sleeping?", he asked his mother casually while opening one of their cupboards to get a bowl for his cereals." Yeah, he was pretty exhausted yesterday, so I let him sleep a bit longer.", she answered Nick's question." I just hope that he wakes up on his own, otherwise I need to get him out of bed."." Hehe, well it's not like you wouldn't enjoy that, don't you?", Nick replied with a chuckle as he turned around and began to pour some Lion Cereals into his dish, whereupon Sandra's mouth also formed an amused smile, before she said:" Yeah, that's true.".

With his bowl now full, Nick put the cereal's box back and walked to the fridge to get some milk. However, after he had retourned to his meal and poured the white fluid over it, he suddenly heard his mother gasp in shock in surprise and a moment after, she asked:" Haaagh, oh my god, Nick! What have you done with your shoulder?"." Oh crap.", Nick thought as he heard his mom." I shouldn't have taken the loose t-shirt.". Putting the milk down on the countertop, the teenage snake turned his upper body slightly towards his mother, before he answered:" It's nothing."." Nothing? For a nothing that looks pretty serious. What has happened?"." Nothing mom, really. It's fine.", Nick insisted and took his breakfast, before he walked past his mother and returned into the dining room, while she was looking at him the whole time. While he wasn't as rebellious as other teenagers, Sandra knew from her own experience that people in his age sometimes did stupid stuff and this seemed to be such a moment.

Due to this, she was pretty insistent and after she had taken her own breads and cup of coffee and had sit down on their dining table, she sad:" Come on, you can tell me honey. I did some silly stuff as well when I was at your age, so I know that accidents can happen. I won't be mad at you, I promise.". Nick stopped with his eating for a moment and pondered about what to do now. He didn't really wanted to tell his mom what had happened, because he knew that she would be worried and wouldn't stop asking about the hows and whys, but otherwise he also knew how insistent she can be, and so he decided to give out a loud, annoyed sigh, before answering her with:" If you really want to know, Jackob had bitten me."." What?!", she said back and her face showed a mix of shock and surprise when hearing Nick's answer." Why would he do that? Did you two started a fight?"." No, it's nothing like that. We were just fooling around and then he accidentally bit me, ok? He didn't want to harm me, it was just... it just had happened."." But how can something like this happen on accident?", Sandra asked further, as she couldn't eally believe what she was hearing." We were...", Nick began to say, but then he decided to just cut it. He didn't have to tell all his secrets to his mother, especially nothing such intimate like having sex with his boyfriend, and so he simply stood up from his chair and reached down to swing his school bag over his shoulder, before saying:" I have no time for this. I need to go to school.".

He had already walked around their dining table and was opening the door to their hall, when he heard Sandra saying in a stern voice:" No, you don't.". Stopping in motion, Nick let out an other sigh and turned around again and just stared wordlessly at his mom, while she continued to say:" If you don't want to tell what happened between you and Jackob, that's fine. But that wound on your shoulder looks pretty serious and I want a doctor to check it. I will call the school that you won't come today and write you an excuse note as well. And then we two drive right away to Dr. Schreier."." Ok, fine by me.", Nick replied and lowered his school bag a little, before he returned to the table to sit down on his place again.

After Sandra had called the school to excuse Nick for the day and her work as well to tell them that she will come later today, she switched into her regular clothes and packed Nick into their car, before they drove of to their house doctor. After several minutes of driving and sitting roughly half an hour in the waiting room, the diagnosis was a mixed bag. On the good side, his wounds were going to heal again without the need to stitch them up. On the not so good side, she said that Nick's scales with the hematoma will most propably never return to their original color, basically giving him a hickey, and that he will keep some scars from Jackob's bite marks. It took him a few weeks to get used to it, but with the time, Nick began to wear his new body features with pride, as they showed what he and Jackob felt for each other in addition to their bracelets.
